Bebe was cleaning the house while Kyle was at work. Cleaning the house with a nine month pregnant belly was not easy task. Bebe's bump was getting in the way and it slowed her down, making her easily tired. She laid down on the couch and called Kyle, who was on break.
"Hey Kyle, how's the day so far?" she asked Kyle.
"So far, it's tiring. I accidentally soaked my clients papers with coffee, so I had to print new ones and it took me awhile to print them because the printer was broken. How about you and our upcoming daughter?" Kyle sighed.
"It's tiring, I'm just resting for now. Our baby girl's doing just fine, she's kicking a lot." Bebe giggled.
"Well, my break is almost over. I'll be home in about six hours." said Kyle, hanging up.
Bebe hung up the phone and continued cleaning up the house. An hour later, she heard the doorbell ring.
"Who could this be? Kyle said that he won't be home in another five hours and he shouldn't have to ring the doorbell since he has the house keys." Bebe thought to herself.
She opened the door to find her ex-boyfriend, Clyde, holding a rose and trying to beg her to come back to him.
"Bebe, please come back to me. I'm still single and nobody wants to date me." he begged.
"No, you've been asking this ever since we were seventeen but my answer is always going to be no." Bebe rejected. "Now take this!"
She kicked Clyde in the crotch with all of her might!
"Owie..." Clyde groaned as he fell onto his back.
"What a pervert." Bebe muttered before closing the door.
Five hours later, Kyle returned home.
"So, how was it today while I was gone?" asked Kyle.
"Clyde tried to beg me to return to him again. I kicked him in the crotch." Bebe explained as she lifted up her shirt, exposing her baby bump.
"Guess Clyde's not having anymore kids after that kick." Kyle joked as he rubbed his wife's baby bump. "He's probably going to be a terrible father to his son anyways."
"Wow, that's one energetic baby." he added upon feeling his child kicking.
"I've always been thinking about naming our girl, Alexandra." Bebe suggested out of nowhere.
"That's a cute name for a girl but what happens if Scott is wrong and we end up having a son instead of a daughter?" Kyle asked.
"Then we'll name him Alex." Bebe suggested.
"Son or daughter, it doesn't matter. I'll still love him or her." said Kyle. "Anyways, it's getting late. We should get some rest. Would you like me to carry you upstairs?"
"Sure." Bebe accepted.
Kyle carried his wife bridal style upstairs and they went to bed. While Kyle had no trouble falling asleep and he soon dozed off but Bebe couldn't sleep because she was feeling some mild discomfort. She tossed and turned continuously yet Kyle didn't wake up at all.
Now it was almost midnight and Bebe still hadn't fallen asleep yet (and her husband was out cold).
"Ugh..." Bebe quietly groaned.
Just then, she felt something warm soak her pants and the bed.
"Ugh Bebe, did you wet the bed?" Kyle moaned, still asleep.
"No, I didn't... Oh my god Kyle, the baby's coming!" Bebe screamed.
Kyle instantly woke up and overreacted upon hearing that their baby was coming.
"Quick, I'll carry you to the car!" Kyle panicked. "Oh my god, the baby's coming. I don't think I'm ready for this! I'm so nervous!"
"Kyle, calm down, honey." Bebe comforted. "If you panic too much, something bad will happen and neither of us will get to see our baby."
Kyle took a few deep breaths and then he carried Bebe over to the car and drove off. The poor redhead was still anxious about the current situation that he unintentionally drove over the speed limit. Shortly afterwards, a police car pulled him over to a curb. Craig, who was on night shift, came out of the police car.
"Mr. Broflovski, do you realize that you've exceeded the speed limit?" Craig demanded in a stern tone
"I'm sorry, it's just... my wife's in labor!" Kyle frantically apologized.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Just go!" Craig urged, his voice sounding less upset. "Don't worry, I won't press charges on you. Just please don't speed up again."
Kyle continued driving (without exceeding the speed limit) until he reached the hospital parking lot. There, Kyle parked his car in the hospital parking lot and carried Bebe into the hospital, where she was transported to the delivery room followed by a very nervous Kyle.
Once he was allowed to enter the delivery room, Kyle immediately entered the room and stood beside his wife.
"Kyle, hold my hand. It hurts!" Bebe cried.
"Just take deep breathes and push when you need to." the doctor instructed.
"O-O-Okay... Ugh!" Bebe painfully obliged. "Eyahhhh!"
"Oh my poor hand!" Kyle thought and cringed as his wife squeezed his hand.
"Easy honey, try and-"
"Shut t-t-the fuck up!" Bebe snapped. "T-T-This is all your fault!"
"My fault?"
"You got this baby in m-m-m-me and now it won't c-come out!"
About four hours later:
"Okay Mrs. Broflovski, I can see its head. Just another push or two and your baby will be out." the doctor said.
"Nngh..." Bebe groaned.
"..." Kyle cringed as he felt the bones in his hand being crushed.
"Oh my g-g-god, it hurts... ahhh!" Bebe cried as she let out another push.
After she gave that push, the sound of somebody (specifically a newborn baby) crying filled the entire room.
"Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Broflovski, it's a girl." the doctor congratulated.
"Finally..." Bebe sighed as she fell back into the hospital bed.
The doctor took their newborn daughter over to another room so he could dry her off and examine her. He later came back and handed a girl with red hair and green eyes, wrapped in a light pink blanket, to Kyle and Bebe.
"Oh my gosh! She looks just like the female equivalent of you, Kyle!" Bebe squealed with delight but careful not to alarm her newborn daughter.
"..." Kyle paused there for a second.
"Now that I think about it, she does kind of resemble me but female. I wonder if we ever have another child, it'll be a boy but he resembles you more than me."
"We'll see about that, maybe we can have another baby once I regain my strength." Bebe replied. "Last evening, I suggested we name our child Alexandra or Alex, for short. How do you think about that?"
"Alexandra? I like it." Kyle accepted.
Kyle left the hospital an hour after Alex was born and a few days later, Bebe had recovered and now she was able to take Alex and go home.
That night, the night Bebe brought Alex home from the hospital, Kyle and Bebe were sleeping in bed but Kyle just couldn't seem to fall asleep. His fatherly instincts had kicked in and he was feeling insecure about letting Alex sleep by herself on her first night home.
"Kyle, honey, are you alright?" Bebe asked, her voice sounding worried. "You're acting so... protective."
"I'm just worried about Alexandra, can we just let her sleep with us tonight?" Kyle explained. "Just tonight."
"I guess it wouldn't hurt to let her sleep with us for just one night." Bebe accepted. "Hold on, I'll go get her."
She left the bed and came back with Alex in her arms. Bebe placed Alex in the middle of the bed and then get got back into bed.
"She's so cute when she sleeps." Kyle whispered.
"She is." Bebe said. "I'm going to sleep, I'm exhausted from this pregnancy."
"Okay honey, goodnight." Kyle quietly spoke.
"Night." Bebe replied.
The two fell asleep but they were careful not to crush little Alex in their sleep.
A/N: I've gotten rid of my "Animal Magic" story (and any other stories that involve Alex talking to animals). I've scrapped of the idea of Alex being able to understand animals, I'll leave the talking to non human characters to Sparky in my Pokemon stories (Pokemon are basically the animals in their universe).
