Thump thump thud! "San Fransokyo PB open up!"
"What are cops doing here?" Honey lemon asked.
"Ah! We're going to get arrested!" Lewis panicked.
"Stop talking and cover the machine." Go go hissed walking to the door. She opened the door but only as wide as the chain latch allowed, "Oh you really are the police. Do you need something?"
"Ma'am I need you to open the door."
"Sure I can do that but what do you want?" Go go asked.
"Don't make me ask again." The officer insisted.
"Either you got a warrant, or you got questions about a friend which one are we talking about?"
"Ma'am you have ten seconds to open this door or you will be arrested for resisting a police officer!" The man shouted angrily.
"That would be true if you were a cop, but your badge is upside down." Go go slammed the door and activated all the locks on it.
"Time to run for it!" Go go shouted over the pounding on the door.
"Ok deep breaths keep calm… ICANNOTGETARRESTEDRIGHTNOW!" Wasabi shouted to himself while throwing tools into a carrying case, "Ok fingerprints security tapes purchase history internet history?
Everything! Wipe everything down!"
"We don't have time for that!" Go go shouted, "Just get the machine back in the truck."
Honey lemon slid out from under the time machine and started pushing the machine. Lewis franticly started unhooking the navigation computer. Go go threw the truck doors open and slid out the ramp.
Localized charges blasted the door from its hinges, six figures in black and green armor charged through the door. Go go threw a wrench at the first one striking him on his faceplate. The man staggered half a step, but the rest were right behind him. The second soldier charged her and struck her in the chest. Electricity coursed through her knocking her unconscious with a pained scream. Honey Lemon ran at the man screaming, she tried to shove him away from Go go with all her strength. The man didn't move back. He swung at her with his electric gauntlet. She pulled her jacket between herself and the claws. Electricity shot through her partially resisted by the synthetic coating on her jacket. She collapsed next to Go go barely conscious.
Lewis sat back against the wall still backpedaling and holding his hands up in surrender. Wasabi spun out from behind the truck, grabbing the nearest man he saw and flipping him to the ground. He charged after his friends when a cable pulled his legs out from under him. The armored man he had thrown was back on his feet. He struck Wasabi twice with the electrified gauntlet setting Wasabi's sweater on fire.
"Put him out we want them alive for now." The man with the cracked faceplate ordered.
Lewis watched in horror as the men handcuffed each of his new friends behind their backs before a sack was pulled over his head and his arms were pulled behind his back.
Baymax turned his attention from Jack-jack and approached the door. "Is something wrong buddy?" Tadashi asked.
"I am detecting multiple people approaching. I will greet them." Baymax answered without stopping.
"Must be the rest of the guys coming back, five bucks says they need help on the time machine." Hiro offered holding up the bill he had won in their last argument.
"Oh no I'm not supporting this new gambling habit of yours." Tadashi teased pulling the bill from his hand, "I think I'll use this to start saving for your rehab bills."
"Har har, you're hilarious." Hiro answered sarcastically, "Seriously give that back if your not betting."
"I never said that I wasn't –"
The window shattered inward with a crash. Smoke billowing out from metal canisters tumbled over the floor. "I am detecting dangerous chemicals in this smoke inhalation is ill-advised."
"Baymax! Get the baby!" Tadashi shouted.
"I got the bombs!" Fred shouted wrapping a scarf around his face. He snatched the first one up and threw it back out the broken window. The second canister blew smoke straight into his face when he picked it up. Fred threw it away but missed the window that was starting to swim.
"I got them, I got them, I got-" Fred collapsed unconscious in a pile of broken glass and scattered papers.
Tadashi grabbed the one gasmask from the work bench and shoved it over Hiro's face. Baymax pulled the crying Jack-jack above the smoke and held him above the rising smoke he released the air from within himself to push the smoke back. Jack-jack whimpered at the smoke but none of his powers manifested. Five men in strange armor rushed in through the door.
"Hiro, take Baymax and run." Tadashi shouted. He grabbed the chair he had been sitting on and charged the men in black. The armored man caught the chair with his hands forcing electricity through both it and Tadashi. He fell back into the smoke unconscious.
"Get Jack-jack out of here!" Hiro shouted running for the equipment lockers.
"I cannot the air is unsafe." Baymax answered.
Hiro threw the mag-lev disc at the soldier closest to Baymax. The disc ricocheted off his helmet in the wrong direction instead of returning to the borrowed glove. Hiro gabbed a second disc and fired it. The disk shot out ricocheting from the second soldier to the first. Hiro grunted in frustration, without the targeting assist it was nearly impossible to get the disks to come back. Frustration turned to horror when the disk glanced off the first soldiers helmet up at Jack-jack.
Out of better options, Baymax pulled Jack-jack back down into the smoke to avoid the disc and charged for the door. Three soldiers attacked simultaneously tearing Baymax nearly in half. The tattered robot pushed past them losing power at the closed door. Lifeless Baymax crashed into the door knocking it off its hinges and crashing outside. Jack-jack was unconscious and struggling to breathe from the smoke.
"Tadashi! Get up!" Hiro shouted barely able to see in the smoke. A black claw swiped at him from the smoke, Hiro dodged away only to fall flat on his back. The claw dangled Hiro's mask above him tauntingly, then shadows smothered him from consciousness.
