Chapter 8: A Grooming Adventure

Ash and the rest had arrived on the outskirts of Lumiose City, and were in a nice park, to make their way across the city.

"Bonnie, you're gonna get lost, if you keep wandering off like that." Clemont scolded, as Bonnie had ran to a fountain.

"I'll be fine Clemont." Bonnie said running back. They were walking on the pavement, when they saw a blue and white Furfrou, and it's trainer. Ash had seemed to be amazed by it, and looked it up on the dex. Ash had seemed surprised, because the picture in the Poke dex had messy and white fur, which was completely different from the neat, and colorful Furfrou they just had seen. Serena was explaining to Ash about Furfrou grooming, famous groomers, etc.

Suddenly, a Furfrou jumped out the neat hedges, and scared Bonnie, who was ahead, causing her to fall and scrape her knees. The group immediately ran to check on her, when what seemed like it's trainer appeared. She apologized, and helped Bonnie out, and they introduce themselves, and they find out the girl's name is Jessica.

They were all walking back to the groomer shop, as a way to say sorry, and also because Serena and Bonnie were interested, when Jessica tells everyone on how Furfrou was really stubborn, and wouldn't let her groom it. They walk into the shop, and see one of the famous stylers from Serena's travel guide, and Serena seems super excited about this. They all greet each other, and see the ridiculous amount of grooming products on the shelf. They also show the millions of scissors and combs. Gavin doesn't seem too excited, and rather just confused about the sheer amount of products they have. They show the group, some of the Furfrou they've done, and Gavin actually seems surprised, of incredible they were. Since everyone, but Gavin was new to the city, Jessica gives us a tour of Lumiose City, when Ash and Gavin were trailing a bit behind, and come up on some really sketchy "groomers." They start listing awards, when Gavin takes another look, and realizes he remembers the sam e hair color, but he figures it's nothing, and he carefully enters the building, with the others.

They start showing all these costumes on the Wobbuffet, and Gavin gets somewhat suspicious.

"Wait but why can't we watch her actually style, the Pokemon, because it makes this seem really suspicious." Gavin asked.

"It's because, it's a secret formula!" The blue haired man says. Gavin was now really suspicious, because you should at least be able to see them style it. They show more, that aren't as worse, but Gavin gets really annoyed that the rest were buying it. First they ask for Gale to be styled for free, but Gavin quickly declines, as with Ash, but it's Serena that takes the bait and gives them Fennekin, and then they quickly kick us out, and tell us to come back in an hour. The group walks down the street, and sees wanted posters of the three "stylists." Everyone sprints back to the sketchy spot they were in, but they find it run down and abandoned. They meet Officer Jenny there, and start investigating. Jessica's Furfrou was sniffing the place, to get a good idea of their scent. Furfrou runs off, and everyone takes off to follow it.

"Furfrou, you picking up on their scent?" Jessica asks. They run smack into Team Rocket, who has Fennekin in a bag. Officer Jenny sends out Manectric, but Gavin puts them on the side, and pulls out Gale. Team Rocket send out Inkay and Pumpkaboo, but Gale immediately goes Mega, and uses Psycho Cut, which decimates them in a single shot. While James was staling Gavin out, Jesse traps Jessica's Furfrou in an electric cage. Jessica, tries to help it, but gets shocked. Clemont tries to use Bunnelby to destroy it, but Wobbuffet, continues to stall. Then Bunnelby gets Wobbuffet with dig, while Jessica grabs a stick, and destroys the cage once and for all. The cube, and cause the fence rolls to Jesse, and it explodes, causing them to blast off… again. The bag of Poke balls, and Fennekin get loose, and they escape. Officer Jenny takes the bag of Poke balls and leaves, then they part ways.
