Hey there, just a quick question;
I have two other 100 fics in production. One is canon divergent and the other is another AU like the two I have up. I'd love to know if any of you are interested in me publishing those or not? Let me know! Also, a friendly reminder that you are always more than encouraged to send me suggestions, feedback and corrections if you find them.
Enjoy. ;)
Birds chirped outside his window. It was a welcome sound, much different from the sound of the street below her own apartment. As she stirred awake and opened her eyes, she realized she was alone in his bed. A pang of sadness hit her at the emptiness but she knew he was around because she could smell coffee. Clad in only that damned dinosaur shirt she climbed out of bed and walked out into the living room. Her feet padded across the floor softly and she managed to sneak up to him as he sat at the little table in the kitchen. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and leaned in, smelling him. Sweaty but warm and a bit musky.
"Morning." She whispered.
He kissed her arm. "Morning beautiful."
Clarke rotated around him and he moved away from the table enough, presenting an open lap for her. She obliged and sat in his lap. Very thin fabric separated them as she leaned in and pressed her licked lips against his. He tasted like coffee, black, not a hint of sugar or cream. It was bitter but that didn't stop her.
Once they pulled their lips apart they were both smiling. His hand went from cupping her cheek and gently stroking her skin to messing with tendrils of her hair that brushed his fingers.
"Sleep good?" He asked sweetly and she only nodded.
"Good. I know you don't normally eat right after you get up but." He pointed over to the stove. He had done a basic breakfast of scrambled eggs and little sausage links in place of bacon.
She looked over to see the food hot in two skillets and her stomach instantly reacted as if she had just now smelled it for the first time.
"I love breakfast sausage." She grinned.
"I -" he paused, smiled and continued. "... am glad."
"Grab a chair and I'll dish you up some. Do you want coffee?" He tapped her thigh and she stood up.
"I don't think I need it this morning." She grinned as if she woke up on the right side of life. He repaid her with his own grin before moving to grab them both plates of food and refill his coffee mug. He set the dish down before her where she sat now, opposite where he had been seated. Bellamy took his seat and they dug into their food in comfortable silence. Once she finished, Clarke picked up her plate and took it to the sink and filled a glass with water. Leaning against the counter she watched her man read on his Kindle while picking off the last of his meal. Her face smiled on its own as she just watched him.
As if he could feel her eyes on him, he looked up. "Yes, lovely?"
She grinned as she had been caught and finished her water, setting the glass down. "Just reflecting."
"On?" He pried, his Kindle set on the table and his attention fully on her.
"How when we met we didn't care for one another and now…" She didn't finish the sentence, because she didn't know where it was going. She looked bashful and glanced away for a moment while she tried to find words. "I never expected this, but I wouldn't change it." Her eyes met his and her smile was soft and loving.
Bellamy stood and moved to her with grace. He leaned into her space and delicately took her love handles into his hands, pressing them both against the counter.
"Nor would I." Was all he said before he leaned down and planted a tender kiss on her lips. They stayed like this for far too long. Long enough that the air in the room changed into something steamy. Their kissing became deeper, more fervent and she finally broke for air.
"You're going to be the death of me, Griffin." Bellamy leaned his forehead to hers and grinned. Her hands in his hair and on his chest respectively.
"Don't challenge me." She winked. He took that as a threat and quickly lifted her onto the counter, nestling himself between her legs. A palm flat on the counter on either side of her. Crowding her space, even more, he crooked his head down a bit and found a soft patch of skin on her neck. The motion of him leaving a mark there made her relax and hum a little.
"Bell, if you continue…" Now she really did threaten him and she could feel his lips purse into a smirk that broke his kissing of her skin. Before she could plan, Bellamy scooped her up and her legs wrapped around his waist. Her shirt bunching up and leaving her revealed. He carried her out of the kitchen and through the living room, toward the bedroom. Just before they got there, and stopped him.
"Bathroom." Was all she needed to say. One word and he veered one door over to the bathroom. The door clicked behind him and he put her down on her feet. Bellamy parted from her long enough to get the shower running to warm up before finding his place back in her arms and with his lips on her. Once again, he lifted her onto the little vanity and planted kisses all over her bare chest and neck. Clarke's fingers roamed his skin as his kisses descended. She gnawed on her lip when he focused his tongue on her nipples, reveling in it. What she didn't expect was for his lips to drop even lower, kissing down her stomach with her shoulder blades against the glass of the mirror. He stopped before he went any lower and looked up at her for approval. She only grinned and Bellamy took that approval, continuing his journey to the center of her being. On one knee he lifted her leg over his shoulder and pulled her to the edge of the counter before starting his mission. He was so gentle and sweet with how he touched and tasted her that it took all of five minutes for her to be shaking under his tongue. Her whimper echoing in the now steamed room. Their skin glistening from the heats and hers from the orgasm he just brought her too. Bellamy groaned as he stood up, his knee hurting.
"Babe-" Clarke whispered out as he grimaced from the discomfort in his knee and she slid off the counter.
"I'm fine." He smiled and pulled her into him.
"Oh you're more than fine." She grinned and kissed his lips, tasting herself on them. He looked surprised, but that didn't stop him. He pulled her by hand into the tub and under the stream of the shower. Their shower was long, much longer than it should have been and they spent a fair amount of time-wasting water and getting dirtier, so to speak, than actually cleaning off. Eventually, they emerged a bit tired and squeaky clean. Back in Bellamy's room, Clarke lay back on his bed naked, her wet hair on a towel.
"I could keep you all day and we'd never leave this room," He began. "But the gang would never leave us alone if we both don't show up today." He laughed as he dressed in a simple blue-grey t-shirt and black jeans. He sat beside her on the bed as he put on socks.
Clarke chuckled. "Not like they leave us alone about it now anyway, but you're right. I'll have to go home first though."
"And back to work, we left your car there." He mentioned. She sat up and agreed and that was exactly what they did after she dressed in yesterday's clothing, sans the panties he promised would go missing. She didn't bother worrying about them though. He could be as sly as he wanted.
They collected her car and went back to her apartment which was vacant. After changing into a casual outfit of jeans and a sweatshirt they hung out around the house a while before taking off to meet their friends for their weekend ritual.
Walking into the front door, there was loud music playing. The couple found their friends in the living room for a change, having what looked to be an impromptu dance party. It was all the girls, Monty and Jasper. Lincoln, Miller, Jackson, and Murphy were sitting around respectively, watching and chatting. The group turned their attention to the newcomers and pulled them in, forcing them to dance. Bellamy played along for all of two minutes before he managed to back out. Raven was the next to tap-out and eventually, it ended when Jasper whined about being hungry.
"Okay, okay. It's a grilling day." Miller calmed the whiner down and everyone cheered for the meal choice.
"You could have said before, we could have brought sides." Harper offered but Jackson shrugged her off.
"We were at the store when we decided," Miller explained.
Jackson chimed in. "We grabbed potato salad, macaroni salad for the dweeb-"
"Hey." Jasper rolled his eyes and the group laughed.
"Oh and we got stuff for kebabs. I was feeling kebaby." Miller's word choice made everyone laugh and food was the new topic. It kept them all entertained until it was time to sit down and eat. They pulled the food in from the grill and set up at the dining table which is when the topic went to Clarke and Bellamy, as to be expected by this group.
"So you two you were late." Raven pried boldly.
"Yeah? And you weren't home at all." Clarke nipped back playfully and chuckled ensued.
"So everyone at the table is finally getting laid," Monty concluded which caused even more chatter and laughter.
The rest of the evening was perfect. Their group was whole, everyone was in good health and good spirits and they were all coupled up, which while that seemed odd it kind of filled out the group. No one was left out or felt like the odd one out. They forwent the movie for the evening and just hung out playing games and chatting. The night lasted a lot longer than it normally did, only ending when Maya fell asleep on Harper on the sofa.
