Sky could only stare back at mirror-Bloom.

"Why is it her destiny?" He asked her as the ground ripple beneath him.

"All in due time, Warrior of Light." She answered, tapping her staff down.

"What are you doing?" Sky let out a scream as the ground beneath him disappear. Vivid colors swirl around him, while a silvery light glow brightly before him.

"You're trials awaits you." Sky shielded his eyes from the brightness as he was envelope in it.

"We'll meet again, my King."

Sky open his eyes, his mouth open as water rush in. Turning his head this way and that, he kick his arms and legs upward until his head broke through the icy surface. Spewing and coughing the water out of his mouth, he trudge his body toward what appears to be the shoreline. Once his hands touch the sandy surface, he face planted onto the ground with a groan. He turn his body, so he can lay on his back.

"What in Great Dragon Almighty is happening?" He asked out loud. The waves crashing against his tire body.

"Argh!" He buried the heels of his palms into his face, his screaming the only sound echoing around him beside the cool waves crashing against the beach.

"Trials, she saids. The fuck is she talking about?" He muttered, sitting up. Then it hit him in a form of a coconut hitting the back of his skull.

"Ack! The fuck did this come from?" He held the offending object in his hand.

Only a King of Kings may enter. A King of Nimue blood. A Warrior King. Father to his People. King of Dragons. One must go through the Trails to achieve what has been lost. Scale of Wen. The Heart of Dragons. Lux of Nimue. Only then will Kelo will reveal thyself.

"Scale of Wen," he listed off, "the Heart of Dragons and Lux of Nimue. But how does the Heart of Nimue fit into all of this? Is it the Heart of Nimue?"

"Fuck! What the hell did I walk in to?" His hands fell down to his sides, the waters lapping at his fingers.

"But, my friends are counting on me right now. I made a promise to Oyrepo that I will return with the pearl in exchange for a healer. Bloom's life is riding on this. There has to something-anything-I can do?!"

He stood up, sand and water was slick against his legs. He was wearing a simple ankle-length, loose-fitted, white pants and a loose-fitted V-neck white tee. He patted himself down and let out a curse as his fingers could no longer locate his weapon.

"Great, no weapons," he ground out. "It would be better if there was a clue at what I'm suppose to do."

He decided it was better for him to walk and explore where he is currently "stuck".

It was only several hours later of trekking inland and away from the shorelines did he stumble upon a clue of sorts. Rather. it was a large clue. He could stare at the behemoth structure. It was a stone pyramid with large stone steps leading to an open chamber at the top. Green and brown vines curl around the structure while the trees lean toward it to blanket it in its greenery.

The Eraklyonian Crown Prince took two steps at a time even though half way he is huffing and puffing. He plop himself down on a step, brushing his hair out of his eyes. Sweat glisten all over him as the heat bare down upon him. He turn his head back, staring at the many steps he has left to complete.

"This is never ending," he moaned. He desperately wanted to take his armor off but knew he needs to keep it on. There are dangers lurking everywhere, eyes unseen to the world of man.

It was only some time later did Sky reach the top step. His lungs straining as he took in large gulps of air. His body felt like lead. There was a single passageway, leading into the depths of the stone pyramid. Taking a couple steps in, the structure shudder, dust and dirt falling from the cracks around him.

"What?" Eyes widening, he whirl around just as the only way out was close shut. Sky flick his moon khukuri out, slashing at the stone wall. He only made a scratch; he finger the small dent with a sigh. He turn his head to stare at the empty passage behind him.

"I guess there is only one way then," he put his weapon away.

Aah-aah-aah-aah

That voice! Sky felt his feet propel him forward in the darken passageway. The voice kept singing its haunting melody. He could barely see two feet in front of him but it didn't matter to him. He just knew deep down, this mysterious voice was guiding him somewhere. He scoff at the idea but knew it was better than standing around by the entrance hoping it would open up again.

A hazy red glow mist permeated through the walls, falling down and lapping at his feet.

This is new. He cautiously made his way, his back against the wall to his right. His footsteps padding against the stone floor softly. A low rumble shook the foundation, the Crown Prince cover his head with his arms as several pieces of stone rain down upon him. Once the rumbling stop, he continue onward albeit slower than before.

"I know you are there." A voice boomed.

Sky drop down on to his hunches, his fingers inches away from the hilt of his sword.

"Come forward."

The Erakylonian slowly made his way through the hazy mist until he could make out an archway. There were strange symbols over it but since the mist was falling over it, he couldn't read it.

"Come!" The voice rumbled again. Not wanting to waste anymore, Sky step through the arch into a large cavern. There were fire pits scatter in different parts of the cavern, some below his feet and some way up high, close to the a large opening surrounded by satellites. A river of lava flew in spews to his left, Sky could feel the heat intensity from where he stood.

"A human?" Large green eyes stared at him from above, piercing him from moving about.

"You can talk?" Sky shouted in shocked as the green-eyed beast flew down before him from its nook.

"Of course I can talk, all creatures can talk, human." The voice shook the cavern, a few satellites falling into a pool of lava. It flex it's large wings, dark red scales with iridescent stripes glinted in the flaming light.

Sky could only stare in shock at the behemoth of a dragon. It lower it's large head until it's eye was level with Sky.

"You're here for something are you not?" Smoke curl out of it's nose, blowing into Sky's face. He stood still, staring back at the dragon. This is not scary at all.

"I think so," he answered, " trials."

"You are unsure."

"I do not know what my purpose is. I seen something that shouldn't be possible." He blurted out. A shiver went down his neck and Sky raise his head away from the large green eye. A dozen or so eyes stare back at him.

"You are afraid." The dragon harrumphed. Several of the eyes turn into slits, some of them laughing. Sounds of claws scraping into the cavern walls echo.

"My brothers and sisters, a mere human is afraid!"

"I am not afraid!" The Leader of the Specialists argued back, splaying his left hand over his heart. "Not when there is a life at stake!"

"Now we're getting somewhere!" The dragon barked, lifting it's head up, spewing fire up into the air. The other dragons follow suit, revealing more of themselves in an array of colorful scales.

If only Bloom can see this. She would definitely love this.

"Let's see how brave you are!" The dragon lowered it's head. "Come and fight me."

"WHAT?!" Sky shouted, his jaw going slack.

"Defeat me and I'll gift you something far grander than gold." The other dragons stomped their feet down in thunderous applause.

"ᚠᛁᚷᚺᛏ!" Their voices repeated in a mantra. Sky tighten his fists, bowing his head as he weigh his options.

"And if I lose?" He asked.

"It is not the first time I had a meal of flesh and bone." It bare it's teeth at him.

"Then be prepare to go hungry," Sky grabbed his moon khukuri in his left hand, his body bending low into a fighting stance.
