Warning: There is a sexual scene in this chapter. It starts at "Romano doesn't struggle as..." and ends at "Antonio ceases his movements..." so if any of you can't stand the sexual detail, skip that section.

Romano's plans for his Christmas date were simple. They meet up at the bus stop closer between their locations, take the bus down town toward the amusement park up during the holiday season, have a romantic date at the park, eat dinner at a nice restaurant, then go to Antonio's apartment for a couple of hours. At Toni's place they can do whatever they want. Watch a movie, be in each other's presence, kiss or make-out, maybe fondle some? Romano wasn't truly certain if he'd want to be sexually intimate again but he keeps convincing himself that it's Christmas. A lot of couples fool around or even just have straight up sex with each other. Maybe he and Antonio would be one of those couples.

The thought of having sex with Antonio makes him shiver. Romano doesn't like being touched by many people, or anyone if he can help it. Not in the most sensitive areas. Antonio's hands are nothing like the gross men he grew up with. His hands are gentle and electric at the same time. Romano's never felt pleasure like that. Sure, there have been moments where he gets an erection from imagining steamier scenes in his head, but touching himself for release always killed his boner. He'd be reminded of his father, of the men who forced him to get hard and come. Over the years, he completely refused touching himself. That is until his first ejaculation in a long time by Antonio.

Remembering that moment always makes Romano flush. It felt good. Amazing, even. Completely different from the forced orgasms he had as a kid, and something he wouldn't mind experiencing again. There's just a tinge of fear that washes over him now. Antonio's reaction after they jacked each other off felt odd. He's never been in a real relationship so maybe his reaction is common? Or everyone has a different post-orgasm rhythm. He did kiss Romano's head and wrap his arm around him so it should be okay.

"Stop overthinking, idiot," Romano whispers to himself as he readies for the day. He's dressing slightly fashionable today so Antonio can see his boyfriend can look good, too, and not grungy. "He loves you. He does. That's all that matters."

He breathes in and checks his phone. Antonio's already set out for the bus stop. His walk is longer than Romano's so the Italian still has time to get ready. He wraps a scarf around his neck and grabs his light winter coat. Slipping it on, he stuffs his wallet and phone into a pocket then turns to his brother.

"Have a good Christmas, Vene."

Feli smiles bright. "Have a great Christmas date, fratello."

Romano's face turns slightly darker. He grins back. "Don't have too much fun if you meet Ludwig later."

His brother laughs. "And let me know whether to expect you back or not tonight. That's all I ask."

"Whatever." He waves and heads out of their home.

The walk isn't too long but enough for the chill to set into his ungloved hands. Romano shrinks his face into his scarf, eyes forward so he doesn't focus on anyone around him. Usually, seeing other couples out and about sickened him but now he doesn't care. He's part of that coupled society now so he can understand how others feel. Happily walking with the person they love. He's not a clingy person but any time with Antonio is grand for him. It shows that even he can have a normal romance after the hell he went through as a kid.

He reaches the bus stop first and waits for Antonio. The Spaniard arrives after a few minutes. He smiles and immediately kisses Romano. "I hope you weren't waiting long, mi tomate."

"No. Just got here." Romano's face stings from the cold. "So, I hope this date isn't too stupidly cliché."

"It doesn't matter. As long as we get time together, I'm happy." He takes Romano's hand, entwines their fingers, then stuffs their linked hands into his coat pocket. The Italian doesn't stop him from doing so. "Even if the park closes to worsening weather, I won't mind."

"I would!" Romano seethes. "I would be fucking livid if that happens. Those tickets I got for us were some of the last ones! Pain in the ass."

"They would refund you if that happened." Antonio kisses his head to calm him down. "Also, I'm surprised you wanted to take the bus."

"I didn't want you to waste gas. A few dollars on bus fare isn't much."

"So considerate." Antonio laughs, nuzzling Romano's hair. "I'm glad we're having a Christmas date. It's your first one, si?" He looks down, reading the answer to his question easily from Romano's blush-pout. "Then let's make it the best one."

Romano smiles a little, eyes not looking at Antonio as they watch the bus approach. When it stops in front of them, the two enter and pay for their fare. Antonio doesn't let go of Romano's hand as they walk through the cabin to a pair of free seats. Romano wishes to separate their hands but lets it go. If Antonio doesn't care about doing PDA in front of others, he shouldn't either. People can go screw themselves for all he cares if they are disgusted by seeing homosexuals. No one else matters besides them.

To Romano's relief, the amusement park is still open when they reach it. They wait in line together until they go inside then grab a map to share. Romano hasn't been to many amusement parks before so he's a little wet behind the ears of what each ride is like. Antonio finds this out from a small comment he makes and instantly takes over the plans. He drags Romano to each ride they can get on without waiting for too long. After several different rollercoasters and 360 rides, Romano comes to a conclusion.

"No. Absolutely not."

"But it's the only one we haven't been on yet. It's got one loop, a screw pipe, and-!"

"Nope! I'm not going on another damn ride that spins us upside down like that!" He crosses his arms. "I've got a headache and my neck hurts from that last one. So, no. I'm not doing it. You can if you want."

Antonio gives up, thinking about a different ride they can do. "How about bumper cars then?"

Romano knows that ride. His grin widens. "Fine, but we're getting separate cars."

"Okay!"

He didn't expect them to stay at the park for so long. They went on plenty of rides, played a lot of games, won a few prizes that they would store next to the exit of each ride. This Christmas date was turning great so far. Before they would leave the park, they agreed to having one ride on the Ferris Wheel. Romano doesn't care if it's a cliché romantic ride, it'd be a different pace. Slow, calm, relaxing. It's a great way to end the first part of the date.

"So," Antonio starts, clapping his hands together as their ride on the Ferris Wheel begins, "which part did you enjoy about this park date?"

"Creaming your ass at the bumper cars," Romano states with a grin.

Antonio laughs. "Of course that'd be your favorite." He grins right back, eyes darkening a little. "You could possibly play something else that would 'cream my ass' that's just as fun."

His mind immediately goes into the gutter as Romano processes those words. Flushing, he rolls his eyes. "Maybe." He doesn't deny it because it's possible. One day he could be the lead in their intimate moments and do such a thing. "After we're done here, we should grab dinner."

"That sound great." Antonio stomach grumbles a little in agreement. They laugh together. "Anywhere specific you wanted to eat at?"

"There's this nice pizzeria that I don't mind eating at with Vene," Romano says, picking at the hem of his coat. "They have really great pasta there and their calzones are to die for."

"Then it's settled. We'll go there." Antonio smiles wide, glancing out the window. He sees the sunset glowing across the horizon and hums. "Are you planning to come over after dinner, too?"

Romano hums as well, watching the sun slowly dip behind the horizon. "I was thinking about it. That'd be okay, right?"

"Of course! You're always welcome." Antonio smiles at Romano's reflection. "You can even stay the night if you want."

"I'll think about it."

It sounded nice to possibly sleep over at Antonio's. He hasn't done that quite yet and wants to experience it soon. Nothing has to happen between them. They can just enjoy each other's company. Knowing Antonio, though, he'd probably start kissing Romano, leading him towards the couch or bedroom so the chill moment can turn steamy. Imagining that doesn't bother Romano at all.

Possibly having sex with Antonio turns him on, but he isn't sure if he's ready to take that big of a step after all these years. He's still surprised that after what he went through, sex and being fondled down near his nether regions doesn't disgust him anymore. He guesses that it depends on the person touching him. He doesn't know for sure but he's willing to try it out. He's willing to try and get over that stupid fear that's always held him back from dating anyone.

As the ride goes on, they unfortunately don't have that cliché moment at the top. Romano doesn't particularly care since there's more to the night than this. The two grab up their belongings after disembarking then head toward the exit. They agree on going to Antonio's apartment first to drop off the stuff before driving toward the restaurant.

It doesn't take them too long to reach the pizzeria. Romano steps out of the car as soon as Antonio parks it, then enters the building. He asks for a table for two and the host guides them to a corner booth ready for them. The host smiles sweetly, stating their server will be right with them after depositing the menus in front of them. She goes away and they're alone again.

"What will you be ordering?" Antonio asks as he flips open the menu.

"Probably their pepperoni and salami calzone." Romano does the same, fingering the pages to see if anything new has been added recently. "With a cup of sprite if they have it," he mumbles to himself, focusing on all the different pasta dishes they have.

Antonio glances over the menu at Romano, smirking. "Anything you suggest?"

"Their chicken alfredo is good. They do penne or fettucine noodles and either is fine in that dish."

"Is that the one with broccoli?"

"Yeah. It's not that bad. If you don't like broccoli, you can order it without and they'll do that no problem." He closes the menu, still set on his calzone choice. "Is that what you'll go with?"

Antonio hums, nodding. "Yeah. I'll do that. And some cola as a drink." He keeps the menu open to use when their server comes by. After they order, their menus are taken away and Antonio leans on the table, smiling at his boyfriend. "What did you want to do at my place?"

Romano shrugs, leaning back into the booth. "I don't know. Watch some Christmas movies or something?"

Toni laughs a little, shaking his head. "If that's what you want to do." He leans back, watching the other people in the restaurant.

The Italian does know what he wants besides watching movies but he won't voice it. He refuses to say anything like that to Antonio, even if the Spaniard also wants it. Breathing in, he waits for their drinks so he has something to fiddle with until their food gets there. He also watches the other people there, smiling a little as he sees a family of four. Two little kids with their parents, squabbling over something trivial before getting some crayons to distract them. He remembers similar times like that when his family acted like the perfect family. It's such a shame his father turned out to be such a sleazy, sick bastard.

As he thinks about his family, Romano begins wondering about Antonio's. He gazes at the man across from him and hums. "Hey," he gains Antonio's attention, "what's your family like?"

Antonio chuckles a little, guessing as to why Romano asks. He shrugs. "Like a family." He laughs as Romano scowls at him. "I don't remember if I've mentioned them before, but I do have a mother, father, and a big brother. You already know my cousins from the zoo, the ones looking after the bird aviary."

Romano nods, remember the smiling girl and stone faced man Antonio went to that day. "Okay, but what are they like?" He asks again, pouting as he repeats himself.

Toni goes silent as he focuses on the table. He fingers some random doodle against toe shiny wood, thinking. "My mother and father are both catholic. They're strict and like to plan things out for their children. I told them I wanted to be a farmer, they said that I should be a business man." He shakes his head. "I'm the disappointment in the family whereas my brother is the prodigy." He smiles at the server who hands them their drinks. He takes the straw, pushes it out and dips it into his cola, taking a sip before continuing. He plays with the straw wrapper now bunched into a ball. "Miguel is smart, smarter than me, and enjoys astrology. Science is his passion and our parents support that idea. Farming is too out of date for them." He shrugs. "They just want me to be successful in life but I could give a damn about being in business."

Romano nods, sipping his own drink. "Do they know you date men?"

"Yeah, they do." Antonio grins darkly. "They think it's a phase, that I'm sick in the head or something. Before they could send me off to wherever and "get better," I left them and moved here with my aunt and uncle. They're a lot more open minded than my parents. I appreciate that they accepted me and gave me a place to stay until I got the apartment." He smiles happily. "I haven't talked to my parents since. I do message my brother from time to time, though. We're kind of estranged but I know he worries and cares in his own way."

Romano stares at his boyfriend, amazed how they both suffered in their younger years because of their parents. Differently but still a form of suffering. He breathes in and bravely reaches across the table to lay his hand over Antonio's. He smiles a little when Antonio looks up at him. The Spaniard smiles back, turning his hand over and gripping it tight.

"Thank you, Roma." He squeezes his hand, releasing it as their meals come. Romano doesn't even react to the use of his real name shortened into a nickname in public.

While they eat, they speak of little things. Parties they have or have not been to, silly things they got into with friends, how fun college was for a change. Without the drama that Arthur kept creating in regards to Antonio, it was a fun semester. They talk about the classes they'll take the next semester, Antonio mentioning he might take another culinary class just to keep working with Romano. Romano rolls his eyes at that, telling him to take the classes that he needs to finish up before graduation.

"It's not like we won't see each other all the time, idiot," he mutters. "We don't need to have a class together every semester. We'll be with each other outside of classes, which is more than enough."

"When you're not planning something with your friends." Antonio forks some penne noodles, sweeping them around the dish for more of the sauce before eating them. "You'll be spending time with them, too, right?"

Romano tenses, remembering how things went Christmas Eve. He still hasn't texted Arthur nor has the Brit texted him. Matthew doesn't have his number so he doesn't expect anything from the Canadian. Matt will be flying back to France soon, anyway. He probably doesn't need Matthew's number. As for everyone else? They haven't created a group chat with him since the last one. Maybe things were falling apart again. Maybe he was thinking too much about it. He doesn't want to be the one to text first because why would he? Arthur's the one who need to apologize. He doesn't need to text anyone else for anything. He generally doesn't text anyone first. Besides Antonio and Feliciano, anyway.

"That's if they want to hang out with a loser like me," Romano mumbles, cutting a portion of his calzone carefully. The ricotta cheese still seeps out onto his plate so he forks it onto the slice before eating it. "Like I said last night, Arthur was being an ass so I'm waiting for his apology before anything. The others? They include me when they feel like it."

Antonio frowns. "They don't sound like good friends."

"It's not that. They're just busier than me," he defends his friends without thinking. Romano doesn't want to agree that his friends possibly don't care about him or need him around. "I'm just probably blowing things out of proportion and thinking too much. They'll text me soon, no doubt." He takes another piece of his calzone.

Worries crosses his boyfriends face. "Okay. If that's what you believe." He goes silent before smiling. "Is there a specific movie you wanted to watch when we get home?"

The neglect of calling it just his home doesn't register in Romano's mind. "Was thinking maybe Frozen. It's not really a Christmas film but…"

"Oh, are you a victim of Elsa's song, too?" The Spaniard laughs heartily.

"Maybe." Romano smirks.

Dinner goes smoothly and Antonio pays the tab after a small argument. Romano wanted to pay since it's his idea for the date. Antonio didn't want everything to be paid by him, so he offered dinner in compensation for his ticket. They soon leave with small boxes of leftovers and arrive at Antonio's place in no time. As planned, they settle on the couch together and begin watching Frozen.

For once, Antonio doesn't start kissing him. He just sits with his arm around Romano's shoulder, smiling fondly at the screen. Romano didn't expect this but doesn't think anything about it. Maybe a quiet night like this is okay. They don't need to go further than this.

As the movie progresses further an Anna is arguing with Kristoff on the sled, Romano feels Antonio's hand slide down his back to his waist. His heart hammers in his chest, hair on his neck rising in anticipation. Antonio merely rubs circles through his shirt on his hip. The Italian shivers, breath hitching at the tickling feeling. He leans more onto Antonio, arm resting on the Spaniard's thigh. He gets revenge by thumbing Antonio's knee, glancing up in time to see the other brunet smirk as he gulps down some saliva.

Should he take action first? He's not used to doing so but if Antonio teases him like this torturously, he'll have no choice. He wants to leap onto Antonio's lap, straddle him, finger his hair, kiss him roughly, and maybe grind their pelvises together. Would that make Antonio moan? The sheer imagination of Antonio's reactions have Romano trembling in pleasure. His pants become slightly uncomfortable at the tightness growing down there. He moves his hips only to hiss in slightly pain. Antonio gazes at him.

"Are you okay?" He whispers in concern.

Romano face turns red. "I'm fine," he forces out between his teeth. He tries hiding his bulge by crossing his legs but it makes it worse.

Antonio raises an eyebrow, noticing his problem easily. He grins. "Is there something else you'd like to do?"

While his mind screams "YES" his head shakes "No." If he tries speaking while moving again, he might moan. That would be embarrassing even if Antonio has already heard his pleasured sounds. "I'm fine," he repeats carefully. "We can keep watching the movie."

"Okay." Antonio's hand on Romano's hip slowly pushes them closer together. Romano's shoulder now rests on his chest, thighs side by side. His other hand slinks down and over, brushing Romano's growing tent. "Oh, what's this?"

Romano clenches his eyes shut, knowing Antonio did that on purpose. He glares at the other. "You bastard."

"What? I didn't realize. Honest." His grin contradicts his words. "Would you like help with that, Roma?" He kisses Romano's temple, hand completely resting on the engorged dick under Romano's clothes. "I can help you see the stars," he whispers into his ear, licking the cartilage.

The Italian shivers, pulling away a little. "Yeah right. You can't do that."

"I can," he argues. His smirk grows. "I'll show you."

Romano doesn't struggle as Antonio begins kissing down his neck. Antonio slips out from under him, locking lips for a good minute before crouching in front of Romano. He unzips Romano's pants slowly and Romano sighs as some of the tightness eases. Then a warm hand slips into the fold of his underwear, pulling out his hard cock. He sharply intakes some air at the temperature difference his penis feels but relaxes as it's immediately covered by Antonio's warmth.

Antonio's breath ghosts over Romano's cock, his hand lightly caressing the hard member. He grins, fingering the pulsating vein visible underneath the skin. He revels in making Romano tremble and knows that he can do better than this. In place of his finger, he lathers the same pulsing vein with his wet tongue. He licks from the base to the head, kissing the pink top and smearing some pre-come around with his thumb. He hears Romano panting above him and grins as he kisses along the length. Then he takes hold of his boyfriend's dick and wraps his mouth around it.

Romano gasps as Antonio slowly takes him in. The warm, wet sensation of being inside someone's mouth and his tongue twisting around sends sparks up his body. He arches his back, gasping for air as Antonio pulls back up only to go back down on him. He grips the couch first before deciding to grip Antonio's hair.

This is something he's never experienced before. It was always rough, calloused hand touches. That was if the men wanted to try pleasing him and not just themselves. He shivers at the memory but tries staying in the present. He's not getting head from an old mad with issues, he was getting head from his boyfriend. Antonio was pleasing him because he wants to pleasure Romano.

A familiar knot ties up tighter and tighter in his abdomen. Romano shakes, watching Antonio quicken his pace. "Good, God, fuck. Antonio. Antonio, fuck," he continues cursing in pleasure. "Dammit, I- I'm gonna cum!"

Before he can, Antonio pulls off with a loud pop and squeezes Romano's dick. "Not yet, mi Corazon." He grins at the scowl sent his way. "We can't let it end so suddenly."

"Fucking bastard," Romano mutters. He's not bitter but the discomfort of having his climax stunted bothers him. "What do I have to wait for?"

Antonio stands up and unbuttons his own pants. "It's more fun to do things together, si?"

"I guess…" he trails off, slipping his dick back into his underwear so he can pull both pants and boxers down. He watches Antonio sit next to him, shimming out of his own pants and boxers. He wonders if they'll do something similar to what they did before. "Should I lay down?"

The Spaniard pauses for a moment before nodding. "Yeah." He grins, kicking his clothes off as he reaches to do the same with Romano's. "I hope you enjoy what I'll do."

"Just don't stop like you did before, or else I'll punch you." He smirks crookedly at Antonio's laugh, lifting himself up so his clothes can be tossed over somewhere as he relaxes against the couch. "And don't hurt me. You'll regret it."

"I don't plan on hurting you." Antonio leans over Romano with a sincere smile. He positions himself between Romano's legs, pressing his own hard cock against his boyfriend's. "I just want to make you moan." He bends down and kisses Romano, thrusting up so there's friction between them.

The sensation makes Romano jolt. "Shit," he murmurs. Antonio starts kissing his neck again, leaving hickies behind. Romano covers his mouth with his wrist, biting into his skin. He refuses to give Antonio everything. He can't help whining as Antonio thrusts their dicks together, but he won't moan aloud.

"That's not fair, Roma," Antonio chides as he forces Romano's wrist away. "Don't hide your voice. I want to hear it."

He gulps down his moans as Antonio keeps going. "N-No." Then everything stops. He glares at Antonio. "Don't you fucking stop, ass-hole."

"Then moan for me." Antonio takes his hands and pins them above Romano. He starts thrusting again as he dives in for open mouthed kisses. Romano can't hold them in now because of this. "That's it," Antonio praises. "Moan."

Fighting against his boyfriend gets him nowhere so he gives in. Romano allows himself to be vocal, swear words flowing between his lips like it's second nature. He feels Antonio's hand switch off so only on holds them, the grip tight but not painful. Antonio's free hand goes down and lifts Romano's left leg up onto his shoulder so he can have a different angle. It sends more waves of warmth and electricity up his body as Romano arches. Then he feels the hand go near his ass, poking near his hole.

Everything stops as dread overcomes Romano. He eyes widen, staring at the ceiling as it changes from cream white to brown wood. The creaking of the couch echoes like the bedsprings from that old, worn mattress. His throat closes, causing him to choke on a sob. He hears those grunts. Those deep, growling huffs as his ass is torn into by those nasty, little cocks. Romano begins thrashing like his younger self had once.

"No!" He shouts. "St- Stop! P-Please, sto-hop."

Antonio ceases his movements and gazes into Romano's eyes. He lets the leg fall back down and he cups Romano's cheeks in both hands. "Roma. Roma, its okay. I've stopped." He begins kissing the tears that spill from his boyfriends eyes. "You're not in that building. You're in my apartment. I'm the one touching you, no one else. It's me, Antonio."

Romano's arms fall at his sides and he curls on his side. He cries, body shaking. "Please…"

"Shhh," Tonio coos soothingly as he rubs circles on Romano's back. "You're safe." He kisses Romano's ear. "You're safe."

Slowly, the memory disappears and Romano's back on the couch. He sniffles, glancing up at Antonio. The other man smiles with concern and Romano groans in embarrassment. "Fuck." He rubs his eyes. "I'm sorry…"

"Hey, it's okay. I should've know that being this intimate could trigger something." He carefully ruffles Romano's hair. "…are you okay?"

Romano sniffs again, thinking. "For now." He sighs, feeling his limp appendage rest in the open. "Definitely a mood kill."

"It's fine." Antonio pets Romano's head again. "Want your pants?" When he receives a nod, he grabs both pairs of clothing and they redress. "Do you want to talk about what you saw?"

"Nothing you don't already know." He zips his pants back up and curls on his side again, this time facing the TV. "Can we watch another movie?"

"Sure." Antonio leans over for the remote, going to the menu screen and picking another Disney film. He lets Romano's feet rest on his lap when he extends his legs out. After setting the remote down, he tries hiding a disappointment scowl behind his hand. "Just let me know when you want to do something else."

Romano hums noncommittally, noticing that no suggestions are behind those words. He's grateful that Antonio understands but still feels horrible that he ruined a good moment. After a few minutes, he moves around so his head rests in Antonio's lap instead. Antonio's fingers brush through his hair and he's able to forget for a moment. He smiles, watching the movie contently as Christmas comes closer to an end.

Note: I was stuck on this chapter for a bit but like how it ended up anyway. It's important and kind of foreshadows a few things about their relationship.

This is not beta-ed so there might be mistakes.

Ciao: I hope you enjoyed the update, dearies! Thank you for reading! R&R.
