If you saw the last chapter, Ash and Serena were killed which drove Frogadier and Braixen off the deep end and they evolved into Greninja and Delphox. What's going to happen to them, you'll see eventually.

Right now, it is time for the final showdown with Siegfried and those two Pokémon are ready to kill that hunter. Once again, read this at your own risk and I do not own Pokémon.

In the forest

The newly evolved Greninja and Delphox were standing by their dead trainers. The last thing they just uttered was wanting Siegfried dead. Pikachu, Rotom Dex, and the rest of the Pokémon look on in shock realizing what just happened. First they see the dead bodies of Ash and Serena, now the two Kalos Pokémon evolve ready to go after Siegfried's blood.

"What happened?" Munchlax asked in shock.

"They evolved," Rotom Dex answered in shock.

The downpour of rain continue to come down as whatever blood reside on Ash and Serena began to wash away. The two Pokémon bent down and reached into their dead trainer's chest to engulf their fingertips with whatever blood was still in there. Greninja and Delphox each ran their fingertips across their foreheads to indicate they were ready for combat, and that their presence would be there, even if the rain would wash it off quickly.

Greninja and Delphox marched on over to the Pokémon and gave them a death stare. They could see the hostility in their eyes. They were not Pokémon anyone should be messing with right now.

"Move," Greninja uttered.

"Frogadier, I just want to tell you," Rotom Dex uttered.

"He said move!" Delphox screamed as all of the Pokémon cower including Pikachu.

"Wait, I thought I just let you two know if you didn't notice you both evolved," Rotom Dex stated.

"We know, we just felt that," Greninja spat.

"I though before we make way for you that you two would like to actually know what you are right now since you do have different names," Rotom Dex stated.

Greninja and Delphox weren't going to wait any longer. But it wouldn't hurt to at least know what they looked like and what they know.

"Make it quick," Delphox ordered.

"Most certainly," Rotom Dex said as its screen started to split into two images revealing Greninja and Delphox, "Frogadier, you're now known as Greninja. Braixen, you're now known as Delphox."

Greninja and Delphox turned and faced each other. Deep down, they would be amazed by how much they've change, but they were too focused on pounding Siegfried. At least they now have a glimpse of what the other looks like and what their names were now.

"Thank you, now move!" Greninja ordered.

Rotom Dex finally got out of the way and allowed Greninja and Delphox to pass. Pikachu was running up towards the two, but then Delphox stopped and looked behind. Greninja did the same.

"Stay here and don't get in our way," Delphox commanded.

"But we were going to have Ash's and Serena's Pokémon help out. They have nowhere to go now," Pikachu told them.

"No! Siegfried answers to us!" Greninja yelled.

Pikachu was startled by Greninja's anger. More tears were coming from his eyes. Never did he see those two Pokémon so angry. This was just heartbreaking as seeing Ash and Serena dead.

"Now stay while we waste him," Delphox told Pikachu.

The two Pokémon continued to march down. Pikachu watched on as there was no answering to them. They were really determined on killing Siegfried. Pikachu was desperate to go after them until Rotom Dex stopped him.

"Let them go Pikachu, this is their battle, not ours," Rotom Dex solemnly said.

Rotom Dex was right. This hunter brought havoc on them and it would be only fitting if they were the ones to finish him off. All of the Pokémon watched them march off towards the grotto.

As he watched them march off, Munchlax could only hope that his father and Seel were alright.

Outside Fuchsia City

The rain was coming down hard. Pidgeot was flying at high speed with Claude and Sherri taking helm while Sycamore and Sophie were riding on Garchomp. They managed to get their rain gear on when the storm started.

"Do you think we could take shelter, this storm is pretty bad," Sophie called out.

"Sophie, every second matters! Who knows how many Pokémon could suffer if we stop!" Claude yelled.

"He's right look at Pidgeot and Garchomp!" Sycamore told Sophie, "Though the weather is bad, they aren't letting it get in the way of reaching Siegfried."

These humans along with the Pokémon were pretty brave going through this storm, after all Pokémon were in danger and they wanted to get there as soon as possible. Pidgeot and Garchomp had complete determination as the weather wasn't slowing them down.

While Claude was brave to encounter Siegfried, he was worried of what would happen. He hoped Munchlax and the Pokémon living with him were safe, but what would be Shepard's reaction if he saw him.

"You worried?" Sherri asked.

"Yeah, I'm just hoping that Munchlax I helped the other day is okay," said Claude.

"I'm worried about Munchlax too, but he lives in a well-hidden place so Siegfried shouldn't find him," Sherri reassured her husband.

"I know, put it's still possible that he can find it. Shepard already gave Munchlax trouble trying to kill him, so who knows what the case could be for Siegfried," Claude explained, "Speaking of Shepard, I'm worried of how he could act if he sees me."

Sherri gave a sigh looking at her husband. Shepard was still on his mind with his attitude and how his actions of actually helping a Pokémon got him fired. Sherri had a gut feeling that if Shepard were to see him, he would not be pleased.

"Claude listen, don't worry about Shepard. He's not your boss anymore and he can't tell you what to do. You're doing this on your free will," Sherri told Claude.

"But still," Claude uttered.

"Shepard isn't your problem, Siegfried is," Sherri stated in a stern tone.

His wife was right, he wasn't here to see Shepard, he was here to put an end to Siegfried's reign. Claude looked at the two Pokémon and remembered the determination they're putting in braving the storm in hopes of stopping him.

"You're right," Claude sighed, "But I still think we need to find a ranger."

"Call Pedansky then," Sherri suggested.

"Pedansky?" Claude questioned.

"Yeah, you guys have been close friends during your time at work. Maybe he can give tips on Siegfried's whereabouts and maybe check to see how Munchlax is doing," Sherri explained.

Claude smiled as he heard what his wife said. He did along with the rest of the rangers, and they appreciated him, it just wasn't his boss who was pleased. Pedansky was actually one of his closer friends. He still had his Pokegear number, so he can give an update.

"You're right Sherri," Claude responded as he got out his Pokegear, "I'm going to call him right now."

Sherri looked down at Sycamore, Sophie, and Garchomp who were still fighting their way through the storm. She had to be impressed with how Garchomp was handling the rain, especially since he was a ground type, but then again he was a dragon type too.

"Claude's going to call an old friend of his, he might actually give Siegfried's whereabouts!" Sherri called out.

"That's great to hear," Sycamore responded.

He would mention to them about Ash and Serena, but they haven't met them or know what they look like. Not to mention they haven't met their Pokémon either.

Out in the forest

All of the rangers were in their rain gear with the storm that's taking place. Pedansky had the roof on his jeep up to shield himself and the interior from the rain. Lance was in the jeep with him to keep him safe from the rain while his Dragonite remained low key searching for Siegfried.

"This is Shepard calling all units back to the station, the search is suspended until the weather clears up!" Shepard called out on his walkie.

Pedansky took a sigh knowing what would happen if he went against Shepard. He already knew what happened to Claude.

"You heard Shepard, we're heading back to the station," Pedansky told Lance.

"We can't, what about the rest of the Pokémon!" Lance cried.

"It's our boss's orders, we have to obey them," Pedansky stated, "You can get out and continue if you want, but I got to head back."

"This isn't right, as a member of the G-Men we put the Pokémon's lives ahead of ours. What kind of person puts their boss's orders ahead of the lives of others?" Lance questioned.

Pedansky flinched when he heard that. He couldn't believe that he made an honorary member of the Elite Four angry. He had high respect for Lance, but now it doesn't seem like he's going to have any respect for him.

Pedansky was about to say something until he heard a sound coming from his pocket. Pedansky reached in to pick up his Pokegear to see that it was his old friend Claude calling.

"This conversation isn't over," Pedansky told Lance as he answered the Pokegear, "Claude, what's up? Why are you calling?"

"I'm glad you answered Pedansky, because I need to ask you something," Claude said on the other end.

Pedansky was surprised to hear Claude calling. The truth is he hasn't had a chance to speak or hang out with him since he got let go.

"Hold on," Pedansky said as he turned to Lance, "Remember that guy I was talking to you about, Claude."

"Yeah," Lance replied.

"It's him on my Pokegear," Pedansky told Lance.

"You mean the friend of yours who was fired for going against your boss's orders to go out of the way for a Pokémon?" Lance questioned.

"Right, it's him. I need you to hold on though," Pedansky told Lance as he went back to the Pokegear, "Okay Claude, what did you want to ask me?"

"Well before I ask you, I need to let you know me and my wife are coming your way right now to go after Siegfried, and we're not alone. I got Professor Augustine Sycamore from the Kalos Region along with his wife who are going to help me," Claude said on the other end.

Pedansky was surprised to hear that Claude was coming and so was his wife. It was another surprise to hear the famous Kalos Region professor was here as well. However, asking why they were here was beyond reason now, he needed to know what's going on.

"You're going through this storm?" Pedansky asked.

"That's right," Claude answered.

Pedansky couldn't believe it. He was about to go back under Shepard's orders while Claude who was fired for going against Shepard, was coming right back to confront Siegfried. Only he wouldn't get paid. That's the one thing Pedansky respected about his friend.

"Okay now listen, did you happen to come across Siegfried at all?" Claude asked.

"No, we haven't," Pedansky answered with a sigh, "But we can tell you that we have seen a total of 55 dead Pokémon so far."

Claude didn't give a response as he pretty much grimaced on the other end. Now came the next question which was important.

"Alright now for my next question, do you remember what I told you about where that Munchlax lives?" Claude asked on the other end.

"Yeah, I've actually stopped over there a few times just to peek without them noticing," Pedansky answered.

"That's great to hear, now listen. I need you to head to that tree and check on the Pokémon. I'll meet you there, but run if Siegfried happens to be close by," Claude told Pedansky, "I just need to make sure those Pokémon are alright."

Pedansky smiled when he heard that. Even when fired, he still cared about the Pokémon that lived here. But then there was Shepard.

"I could, but Shepard ordered us back to base until the rain clears up," Pedansky said.

"Pedansky you listen! Listening to Shepard has never done any good for the Pokémon! We're supposed to be rangers protecting trainers and Pokémon, and the good ones would go out of the way to help others. If I continued listening to Shepard, who knows what could've happened to these Pokémon," Claude argued.

Claude made a point. Shepard ordered the rangers back to the station when a Pokémon murder is roaming the area free to kill any Pokémon he sees. Pedansky's mind began to understand, this isn't right. This doesn't make him a better person. It sounds like they should only care about a paycheck and his opinions rather that the lives of others.

Pedansky's face was now filled with complete determination. He wasn't going to let Claude down. It didn't matter what Shepard said, Lance was right. The Pokémon's safety should come first.

"I'm on my way," Pedansky responded as he hung up his Pokegear.

Pedansky turned to Lance with a serious look. He was not going to disrespect a member of the Elite Four because of Shepard's orders.

"Lance, there has been a change of plans. We're heading towards a big tree where some Pokémon are living," Pedansky told Lance, "We're going to meet Claude there."

Lance turned and faced Pedansky. He finally came to his senses. He was going to go after Siegfried.

"You finally came to your senses," Lance said as he rolled down the window, "Dragonite follow us!"

Lance rolled his window back up. Dragonite heard the orders. Pedansky turned his jeep around and began to drive towards the big tree. Dragonite payed close attention to the jeep and began to follow it.

"Keep your eyes out for Siegfried, if you see him call back your Dragonite," Pedansky told Lance.

"Will do," Lance responded nodding his head.

The jeep accelerated into the deeper parts of the woods. Dragonite was right behind the jeep. What they don't know is that Siegfried as already at their destination.

Back at the grotto

"Snorlax!" Seel cried.

Snorlax was struggling with Siegfried. He already stabbed him in the chest and the Sleeping Pokémon now struggled to stay up. Siegfried used that time to get more weapons with him. He used his flamethrower and started to burn all the Pokémon in sight.

Snorlax came right behind the evil hunter and fell down on him with a Body Slam. If he was going to die, at least he could get Siegfried to suffocate.

"Get the fuck off me you fat ass!" Siegfried screamed but it was muffled.

"No, this fat ass here will crush you until you have no oxygen left," said Snorlax.

Seel and Kadabra watched in hope as they see Snorlax crushing the enemy. They need to take precautions though.

"Alright everyone, gather around Snorlax in case he's still alive so we can barrage him with attacks," Kadabra ordered everyone.

Electabuzz, Magmar, Jynx, Rapidash, Seel, Kadabra, and the rest of the Pokémon got around Snorlax. Snorlax was shaking and letting out breaths as a sign he was dying. He was going to sacrifice his life to make sure Siegfried doesn't get back up.

"I hope you enjoy hell, because Giratina is waiting for…" Snorlax told Siegfried until something interrupted him.

The Sleeping Pokémon was now in total shock as he was being lifted up into the air. Everyone looked in shock as they could see it was Siegfried pumping his legs up with his feet pushing up the Sleeping Pokémon.

"But how! A Snorlax weighs over one-thousand pounds!" Kadabra screamed in terror.

Siegfried then launched Snorlax up into the air like a pinball and he was flying to the other side of the grotto. Snorlax slammed into the wall hard, and with the wounds he suffered, lots of blood exploded out from his torso and he slumped down on the ground.

Snorlax had no fight left in him.

Siegfried walked over to Snorlax. Blood was coming out of Snorlax as Siegfried started to walk on him. He was now standing over Snorlax's face and looked down at him like he was a weak punk.

"Snorlax," Kadabra muttered as he used his psychic powers.

They were effortless as Siegfried was stomping on Snorlax's face without mercy. Snorlax cried in agony and the other Pokémon watched in horror. Rapidash wasn't going to stand this. She galloped across the room and used her hooves to kick Siegfried from behind.

Siegfried stopped as he felt something. Rapidash's face started to show fear as Siegfried looked at her, but it felt like he didn't feel anything.

"Hey horsey, have you ever seen a three-legged Rapidash?" Siegfried questioned as Rapidash gave no response, "Here, I'll show you what one looks like."

Siegfried clenched his fists and slammed them together into Rapidash's left-front leg. Rapidash cried in agony as she fell on top of Snorlax. Her leg was broken, and she was unable to move.

Siegfried then gave an evil chuckle and started to stomp on Rapidash. She was on top of Snorlax, so he was stomping on two Pokémon.

"That's right admire that get to kill two Pokémon for the price of one," Siegfried said in a dark tone.

Rapidash began to cry and so was Snorlax. The two Pokémon couldn't hold up any longer. After stomping on them repeatedly for two minutes, Rapidash was now dead and Snorlax was now on his final breath. He whimpered something from his final breath.

"Munchlax, I'll always be with you," Snorlax uttered as he then passed out and died.

All of the Pokémon were in total shock and heartbreak. Snorlax, the Pokémon who was their protector, their friend, and possibly a father figure, was dead. This evil hunter took him away from them and for what cause?

Every single Pokémon looked at Siegfried with nothing but hurt and anger. This monster just took away someone important from their lives. Seel wasn't sure how to break this to Munchlax, but that wasn't the case. The Pokémon who took him in was gone.

This…thing just loves to kill Pokémon. All of the Pokémon were sick to their stomach. Many Pokémon including Snorlax are dead because this maniac has some sick pleasure of killing Pokémon. All of the Pokémon began unleashing their attacks towards the evil hunter and all he did was use his flamethrower to scorch all the Pokémon around him. All of the Pokémon screamed in agony as they were being burned to death.

"You son of a bitch!" Electabuzz cried.

Electabuzz charged on over towards Siegfried with her fist ready to punch him. Electabuzz unleashed a Thunder Punch right at his face. Siegfried stopped his spreading of the flames and turned towards Electabuzz.

"Let's attack him from behind!" Jynx cried to Magmar

Magmar and Jynx began running towards Siegfried while his back his turned. Electabuzz was agitated that her Thunder Punch was doing nothing except causing Siegfried to glare at her.

"You're going to hell," Siegfried uttered.

Electabuzz was completely terrified that her Thunder Punch didn't do a thing. Magmar and Jynx came and ambushed Siegfried from behind with Magmar using Flamethrower which caused Siegfried to grimaced and drop his flamethrower. Jynx followed with a Body Slam as she used all of her weight to bring Siegfried down.

Siegfried however thrusted Jynx off his back and got up. He glared at Jynx, picked up his flamethrower, and turned it to full power. Jynx was surprised that Siegfried was able to get up after that ambush. It was like nothing happened to him.

"Burn!" Siegfried yelled.

Siegfried blasted his flamethrower at Jynx. The Human Shape Pokémon cried in agony as the evil hunter engulfed her in flames, and since she was an ice-type, that made the pain ten times worse. Siegfried marched on over towards the fallen Jynx. She now had many third-degree burn marks all over her body, and most of her face was burned off.

Siegfried picked up Jynx by the hips as she was now crying. Magmar stood behind the evil hunter with an evil eye.

"You bastard!" Magmar cried as she unleashed a monstrous Flamethrower.

"Friendly fire," Siegfried retorted as he turned around holding Jynx in front of her.

The Flamethrower hit Jynx she ended up hurting her even more. Magmar stopped her attack, but not before the flames entered through her weakened body and striking her in the heart. Siegfried laughed at Magmar while holding the now dead Jynx.

"You killed a Pokémon! You're a murderer just like me!" Siegfried yelled.

"No, I didn't, you held Jynx up as your own…" Magmar cried as Siegfried cut her off.

He threw a ninja star right at Magmar's chest. Though the star would melt due to Magmar's body temperature, it did puncture through her skin hitting her in the heart.

"Like I said, you killed a Pokémon," Siegfried uttered as Magmar collapsed to the ground.

Magmar had blood coming out of her chest after she died from that ninja star. All of the Pokémon started to charge towards the evil hunter, but he got his flamethrower and started blasting them with it.

All of the Pokémon were screaming in pain and now almost all of the Pokémon collapsed to the ground and died. What was supposed to be their sanctuary, a place to feel warm, has become the sight of their death. Thankfully they got their children out of here.

Seel and Kadabra were looking worried as they were now the only two Pokémon left. Not one Pokémon was able to do anything to this evil being. Kadabra just felt traumatized while Seel looked like a train was going to run him over.

Seel was throwing many things at Siegfried as he could, but Siegfried just walked through them like they were nothing. Siegfried had an evil smile on his face as he was looking down at Seel. No one could tell what kind of horror was in those eyes because of those sunglasses.

"You wished to be dead after seeing all of this don't you?" Siegfried questioned, "Oh wait let me answer that question for you. Of course you want to be dead! I'll fucking kill you right now!"

Siegfried was pounding his fists as he was coming closer to Seel. Seel couldn't believe it, all of the Pokémon failed including Snorlax. No one was able to stop this maniac and now he and Kadabra were all going to die. Seel's life was flashing before his eyes as the evil hunter was coming closer.

The only thing on his mind right now was making sure Munchlax was okay. Seel saw Munchlax as a close friend much like Snorlax, and it broke his heart he failed to protect Snorlax. He wouldn't have to worry about mentioning this to Munchlax because he was going to die too. Siegfried pounded his fists together ready to beat the living crap out of Seel. Another Pokémon to be added to his list of murderers.

THUD

"AHHHHHHH!" Siegfried screamed as he felt something hit his back, "What the hell!"

On Siegfried's back was a blue ninja star that looked like it was made out of water. That was an actual Water Shuriken. Siegfried turned around and saw the culprit who threw that shuriken along with someone else.

It was Greninja standing with a throwing pose.

Greninja stood right next to Delphox as both of their eyes were narrowed towards Siegfried. The two heavily grunted repeatedly.

"I don't know where the hell you came from, but you can die with the rest of these Pokémon," Siegfried spat.

"Go fuck yourself," Delphox spat.

Siegfried didn't understand what Delphox just said. He didn't even care, if there was a Pokémon near him he would just kill them.

"You stay here, I'll be coming back to kill you," Siegfried told Seel as he walked over towards the two Pokémon.

Both Pokémon looked like they were ready to rip him apart. This evil man has caused them so much trauma and grief. They wanted him to suffer dearly for what he did to their trainers, no, their best friends.

"Alright even though I'm going to kill you, you don't ever attack me from behind like that," Siegfried argued.

"You heard Delphox, GO FUCK YOURSELF!" Greninja yelled.

"You killed our friends! You made our lives a living hell! We wish you were dead!" Delphox yelled.

Just like before, Siegfried had no idea what Delphox was saying. She may have been screaming, but Siegfried didn't care. In fact, he decided to just his own twisted imagination to think about what she said.

"I don't speak Pokémon, but I know what you said," Siegfried smirked, "You said you want me to break your legs! Alright which leg should I break first the left or the right!?"

Siegfried was coming up towards Delphox, but before he could lay a hand on her, Greninja used all of his might and while his arms glowed purple, slashed his arm.

"AHHH!" Siegfried screamed as he backed off and held his arm.

Siegfried was groaning as he held his arms. He was able to let go of it and brush it off, but that actually left a mark. Siegfried was actually bleeding a little bit. This was actually a first for anyone.

"What the hell just happened. You…actually hurt me," Siegfried stuttered.

"Shit, I was hoping to actually cut that arm off," Greninja muttered.

Siegfried bent down to pick up his Flamethrower, but Delphox used Psychic to pick up that flamethrower and then unleash a Psychic attack right at the weapon. The weapon Siegfried used to burn all of the Pokémon was now destroyed.

Seel was pretty amazed with what he saw. These two Pokémon were here for about a minute and they already have hurt Siegfried and destroyed one of his weapons. Among everyone who confronted the evil hunter in the grotto, this was the best anyone has done against him so far.

"Okay, I'm starting to hate you," Siegfried said as he looked at his spike ball on the ground, "I'll just use that instead."

Once again, Delphox took out another weapon but this time she used a fire attack. It looked like a glowing fireball that connected with the spike ball blowing it up. Delphox just used a new move called Mystical Fire.

"That's two weapons you destroyed! I'll kill you two times!" Siegfried roared.

It didn't make sense that he could kill Delphox two times if he already killed her once. As Siegfried charged at Delphox, Greninja bolted over with a Quick Attack on full impact. Siegfried was sent flying and knocked on his back. The evil hunter got back up and grunted at the two Pokémon. They've lasted longer than they should have.

Back in the forest

Pikachu and Rotom Dex had no idea what to do now. They were still grieving over the loss of Ash and Serena. Two innocent Pokémon trainers were taken away only for the pleasure of a man who just wants to kill Pokémon for no reason. Where were they going to go? What were they going to do?

Munchlax was dealing with a whole lot of anxiety with this situation. How were his dad and the rest of the Pokémon doing? Were they holding off Siegfried? Elekid, Magby, and Smoochum can feel the same way and so does Ponyta. If anything were to happen to them, where would they go? He turned back to Pikachu who was looking at the Pokeballs containing their Pokémon.

Pikachu brought all of the Pokémon out of their balls. All of the Pokémon couldn't bear to look at the sight of their dead trainers. They wanted to give them a chance to say goodbye.

Pidgeotto was the first Pokémon Ash caught and she has grown fine since Ash got her as a Pidgey. Charmeleon can remember how Ash risked his life to save him from potential death as a Charmander and thanks to him he has new life. Scyther can remember when Ash took him in after his previous trainer was killed on the S.S. Anne, and now here he was living that nightmare again. Primeape really had a huge misunderstanding when he first met Ash as he thought he wanted a challenge rather than play, and it made Primeape realize he might have gone overboard. Then there was Krabby who was sick from polluted water and when Ash took him in to get healed and go out of his way to restore power to the Pokémon Center, he knew that Ash was something special.

Kadabra was just an Abra when Serena met him and could only Teleport, but after their most recent contest, he pushed himself for her and allowed himself to evolve so he can provide more. Wartortle was a rogue Squirtle who was abandoned by Paul after he considered him weak, but Serena was able to show that there were good humans out there and was willing to bring justice to a selfish human like Damien allowing him to move forward and at times be attached to her. Pinsir was glad Serena took him in after the incident on the S.S. Anne which killed his previous trainer, only to live that nightmare once more now. Slowpoke didn't really know much about Serena as he spent most of his time standing and staring. Then there was her most recent capture Eevee, and while she did win her as a prize in a tournament, that gave her the opportunity to be with that handsome looking Pikachu.

Finally, there was Pikachu. He deserted many trainers throughout his days as they tried to force him to evolve or go into the Pokeball until he agrees to evolve. Ash and Serena though didn't want that as they thought about his needs rather than their own. In return Ash allowed Pikachu to take on Lt. Surge as a Pikachu and ultimately defeat his Raichu. Those two really did bring an impact to their lives, and the world was just cruel to take away two promising trainers like that.

Munchlax and the rest of the Pokémon watched on, Even though they don't know them, they can realize how special those two were for them. It just wasn't fair that they had to die. There had to have been other Pokémon in the world who could have them as their trainer, and as their friend.

"They didn't deserve this," Munchlax choked up.

Munchlax didn't care if Ash was Red's son. All he had to do was look at the Pokémon to know who he was and how special they were. Munchlax wanted to do something for him. He wanted to go back to the grotto and bring justice to Siegfried. But where would he begin?

All of the Pokémon stopped crying as they heard the sound of a jeep. Did he think Pokémon would be attracted to these corpses and he would come back to kill any Pokémon that appeared. That wasn't the case as the jeep got closer to reveal two humans. Munchlax couldn't make out who these humans were, but they did see the Pokémon gathered around the humans.

Pedansky hit the brakes as he and Lance could see all of the Pokémon gathered around. They would've expected dead Pokémon, but dead humans? It looks like they were trying to take on Siegfried themselves and paid the price.

"I have a feeling we may be too late," Pedansky cried.

They got on their rain ponchos, got out of the jeep, and ran towards Ash and Serena. All of the Pokémon were relieved that it wasn't Siegfried, but they did make way so they could approach the humans. As they got closer, Lance was mortified to see that one of the two kids looked familiar. He looked like Red's boy.

The two got onto their knees and tried to see if they could get a response, but no response ever came. They've noticed the holes in their chests which indicated that they were shot.

"They're dead," Pedansky muttered.

"They were already dead when we found them," Rotom Dex muttered.

Pedansky and Lance turned around to see Rotom Dex, Pikachu, and the rest of their Pokémon. They were wondering who said that.

"It was me who just said that," Rotom Dex told them.

Pedansky found this pretty strange. Never has he seen a floating Pokedex that could actually talk. This thing might provide some information.

"Do you know exactly what happened?" Pedansky asked with Lance by his side.

Rotom Dex took a deep breath (computer screens can't actually breathe) and began talking about everything that happened.

1 minute later

Rotom Dex explained everything that happened including identifying Ash and Serena. It mentioned how they snuck out of the Pokémon Center to look for their Pokémon, how Siegfried approached them, and how Ash and Serena sent Rotom Dex and Pikachu away with their Pokémon to ensure their safety. Lance felt like his heart stopped beating. Rotom Dex revealed that the boy was Ash Ketchum, Red Ketchum's son. Red wasn't just Lance's superior, but also a great friend. Lance didn't know how to process the fact that his son was taken away by Siegfried.

"So, you didn't know they were dead until after you found them?" Pedansky asked.

"Right," Rotom Dex answered as he looked towards Ash and Serena, "But we did find their Pokémon and they were alright. However, once they saw what happened to them, they lost it, evolved, and stormed back to where they just fled from to go after Siegfried."

Lance and Pedansky looked over towards all of the Pokémon gathered around Munchlax. Rotom Dex and Pikachu found them while they were fleeing from the grotto. Munchlax approached Pedansky and Lance, and while he has never met them, they have made a good impression so far.

"I'll translate for Munchlax," Rotom Dex said as he turned towards Munchlax who began talking, "Munchlax says my dad and all of their parents are back in our home fighting that monster. I'm worried of what's going to become of them."

Pedansky's mind rattled when he heard what Rotom Dex said for Munchlax. He can recall what Claude said about where Munchlax lives. This must be the Munchlax Claude was talking about. He can also recall that he was on his way towards that tree right now. This can at least bring some relief to Claude, but he doesn't know about the other Pokémon yet.

"Rotom Dex, you said those two Pokémon of theirs who evolved we're heading back to where you fled?" Pedansky asked.

"Correct, Siegfried was there according to Munchlax," Rotom Dex answered.

Pedansky then turned back to Munchlax.

"I want this Munchlax to ask us something," Pedansky ordered Rotom Dex and Munchlax, "Was his home a grotto in a big tree?"

Munchlax spoke and Rotom Dex translated.

"Yes, it was," Rotom Dex confirmed.

"You're in luck, because that's where we're headed right now," Pedansky stated, "An old friend of mine along with wife are heading there, and they also have Professor Sycamore and his wife with them as well."

"Professor Sycamore is here!" Rotom Dex exclaimed.

"Yeah, I didn't hear what they were doing here in Kanto, but they're with them right now heading towards that tree," Pedansky explained.

Rotom Dex can recall that Sycamore was coming to Kanto to help them with Frogadier and Braixen. Apparently, the reason behind their behavior was now solved. Now they just need to worry about their well-being.

"Can we come with you?" Rotom Dex asked.

Pedansky looked on over towards Rotom Dex. It appears that Rotom Dex and Pikachu want to help out. The rest of Ash's and Serena's Pokémon looked at the ranger as they wanted a part in this. He took their friends away and they want to help give them justice, and besides, Greninja and Delphox who are their friends went to the grotto to confront the sadistic hunter.

"So, all of you want to be part of this?" Pedansky asked.

All of the Pokémon nodded their heads and chanted to confirm they want to help take down Siegfried. It's the least they can do for Ash and Serena, and more importantly for Greninja and Delphox.

"Alright, but we better get moving now," Pedansky ordered.

"You heard them, I'll put you all in your balls and we'll go after him," Rotom Dex confirmed.

"Pikachu," Pikachu replied where he said for Ash and Serena.

All of the Pokémon bid farewell to Ash and Serena, but they do hope to see them one last time after this is over. Rotom Dex returned all of the Pokémon and it floated into Pedansky's jeep with Pikachu right on his heels.

"I'll stay here and protect the Pokémon," Lance said as he took another painful look at Ash and Serena, "And then maybe give these two a proper burial."

Pedansky looked at Lance. He was a powerful Pokémon trainer with his Elite Four status, but he also was a Pokémon G-Men, and Lance was a guy who helps out all Pokémon in need. Lance was thankful that these two trainers we're thinking about the safety of their Pokémon, and that's exactly what he was planning on doing. Pedansky with all of his heart was going to respect his decision, as he did remind him of Claude.

"It's okay Lance, as long as the Pokémon are safe that's what matters," Pedansky kindly said, "Do what you need to do, just get them out of the rain. Take them to some shelter."

"Will do," Lance kindly said.

Pedansky finally got the jeep in drive and drove off. He wasn't going to report these two dead bodies yet because he didn't want Shepard knowing what he's been doing. Munchlax was watching the jeep drive away. He just wished there was something he could do. Those Pokémon got to go after Siegfried, but he had to stay here.

"Alright, let's get their backpacks off. Whatever they have in there could come in value for someone else," Lance said to himself.

It made sense that whatever Ash and Serena had in their backpacks shouldn't be wasted like that. Munchlax walked over to Ash as he sadly looked at him.

"So, you were Red's son, it was just too soon," Lance cried.

Munchlax did hear from Red to make it even more official that this was Red Ketchum's son. He really wanted to learn more about him, but he'll never get that chance. Lance removed Ash's backpack and started going through things.

"What the?" Lance questioned.

One item inside Ash's backpack that really brought interest in Lance was a rainbow-colored feather. Lance inspected the feather as it glowed in his fingertips. Munchlax was looking at Lance who was holding the Rainbow Wing.

"This feather, it has to belong to…" Lance uttered until Munchlax stepped in.

Munchlax took the feather as he wondered if it would glow for him too. Just like Lance, the Rainbow Wing glowed in Munchlax's hand.

Lance has heard legends of the Rainbow Wing. Anyone who holds the Rainbow Wing will have the chance to see Ho-oh, but under special circumstances, Ho-oh could seek someone and bless them with a Rainbow Wing. Another thing he heard from the legend is if the Rainbow Wing gave out a colorful glow, that indicates that the holder has a pure heart.

Lance was amazed to know that would be the case for him and the Munchlax when they held the Rainbow Wing. Lance was utterly surprised to know that those two dead trainers may have actually seen the legendary Pokémon Ho-oh itself.

"You probably don't realize it do you little Pokémon," Lance told Munchlax who was still holding the Rainbow Wing, "The only possible way you could get a feather like that is if the legendary Pokémon Ho-oh should come towards you knowing you have a pure heart. It must've meant these two were destined for great things."

Munchlax never heard of that Pokémon before. But knowing that the feather would glow if the holder had a pure heart, that could be enough proof for Munchlax to show Shepard he is not a Team Rocket Pokémon.

Lance looked into Ash's backpack and found a small bag of Scared Ash. He then looked into Serena's backpack to find a small bag of Scared Ash in her bag too. He ignored the GS Ball as he had no idea what that was for.

Munchlax was looking at the Rainbow Wing. It almost looked like it was pointing him towards his home. Elekid, Magby, Smoochum, and Ponyta gathered around him.

"Munchlax?" Elekid questioned.

"It's pointing me towards home, it's a sign. I have to help them!" Munchlax cried.

Munchlax made a run for it carrying the Rainbow Wing with him. Hopefully Ash wouldn't mind if he borrowed it, even though he was dead. Elekid, Magby, and Smoochum all watched Munchlax make a run for it.

"Where are you going Munchlax!" Magby cried.

"He wants to fight Magby," Smoochum answered.

"If he's going to fight, then we'll join him," Elekid declared, "Ponyta, can you give us a lift?"

Ponyta was whimpering, but she knew that these Pokémon were determined to help their friend. She wasn't going to hold them back, especially since her mom was there.

"Hop on everyone," Ponyta told the Pokémon.

Elekid, Magby, and Smoochum all got on Ponyta's back and the Fire Horse Pokémon began to gallop in the rain to follow Munchlax.

As all of those Pokémon were out of sight, Lance continued to observe the two pouches. Lance heard stories that Scared Ash is what helped revive the three legendary beasts of Johto after they perished in a fire. That special gift was given by the legendary Pokémon Ho-oh.

"If what the legend says about Scared Ash is true, maybe," Lance said to himself looking at the pouches, "I won't try it right now. I might want to ask myself if it's true, who should I bless it on."

Lance did wonder if the contents in the pouch would really bring back the dead. Right now, it would be best not to try it. He should consider using it once Siegfried was gone.

Back in the grotto

An angry Greninja used this chance to charge at Siegfried as he made a run for the two Pokémon. The Ninja Pokémon charged at the evil hunter again with a Quick Attack, but Siegfried barreled him down onto his back. Greninja felt like the nagging pain in his back was going to come back as it went away after he evolved.

Siegfried marched on over to Greninja. Instead of going back to his jeep to get a weapon, he decided he would take matters with him head on.

"Here's a close up of my left foot!" Siegfried shouted as he lifted up his foot.

He was about to stomp Greninja flat to death, but then a Psybeam courtesy of Delphox hit Siegfried in his shin. He didn't get extremely hurt, but it was enough to catch him off guard and back up.

"Greninja!" Delphox cried.

Greninja used this chance to attack. He fired a Water Pulse right at Siegfried's torso which sent him airborne, and then he got back up to his feet and jumped up into the air and did a number of somersaults before making impact with the hunter. Greninja just used his Acrobatics attack to slam Siegfried into the ground.

Then Greninja proceeded to more somersaults coming down and hitting Siegfried in the torso with a second Acrobatics attacks.

"AHHHHH! You fucking piece of shit!" Siegfried screamed.

Greninja was now crouching on top of him as he remembered what he was about to do before Delphox used Psybeam. Greninja grabbed Siegfried's left ankle and angrily pulled off his combat boot.

"Burn it!" Greninja screamed at Delphox as he hurled the boot towards the wall near Delphox.

Siegfried was beginning to sit up and glared at Greninja and Delphox. He saw his boot right near Delphox who glared at it. She was going to make sure he wouldn't be using this for anymore Pokémon stomping.

"You won't be needing this anymore!" Delphox yelled as she unleashed a Flamethrower attack onto the boot.

The boot began to go up in flames and burn up. Siegfried's eyes widen in shock and anger after what Delphox did.

"My good Pokémon murder boot," Siegfried angrily sighed.

Siegfried thrusted his chest to push Greninja off and then get back up to approach Delphox. He was livid that one of his precious boots he uses to stomp Pokémon on is now destroyed and going up in flames. Delphox held her ground as she got into a defensive stance.

"You're going to regret that," Siegfried angrily said.

"No, I won't you piece of crap!" Delphox cried as she sent out a psychic wave.

Siegfried was engulfed in blue aura which caused him to slow down. He should've stopped, but the Psychic attack Delphox was using was causing him to move slowly. He was actually muscling his way through.

Delphox continued to concentrate on the evil hunter trying to slow him down. Then Greninja roars from behind and slashes him in the back with a Night Slash. Siegfried grimaced as he cringed from the pain of that attack.

Siegfried stopped for a few seconds only to see Greninja behind him, and then he turned right back at Delphox. He continued to march through Delphox's attack. She wasn't going to be able to hold this up forever. Despite her psychic powers now increasing with her evolution, she still had her limits.

Siegfried then gathered saliva in his mouth and formed a lot of it. He then proceeded to spit at Delphox as hard as he could. It wasn't going to hurt her, but it would be enough to make her lose focus. The spit would successfully hit Delphox in the face as she lost her concentration which allowed Siegfried to be freed from Delphox's grip.

"You son of a…" Greninja ranted until Siegfried shoved him down.

"I'll kill you in a moment," Siegfried uttered.

Kadabra and Seel were looking on. They put up a fight, but it looks like that fight has just ended as they saw Siegfried charge towards Delphox. The Fox Pokémon was trying to get another Psychic attack going, but Siegfried was getting close. Greninja was getting up, but it almost looked like he wouldn't make it to Delphox in time.

Kadabra noticed this and he needed to remember what Snorlax was trying to do. He wasn't going to let this Pokémon die. Kadabra teleported away which surprised Seel, and then about a second later he appeared near Delphox.

"Come on!" Kadabra cried as he grabbed Delphox's arm.

Kadabra used Teleport once more to transport himself and Delphox back to Seel. Greninja was relieved that Delphox was out of the way. Siegfried on the other hand crashed right into the wall as he couldn't put the brakes on himself with Kadabra's unexpected Teleport.

"Thanks," Delphox said.

"No problem," Kadabra replied.

Delphox was starting to calm down a bit. Greninja was getting up as he calmed down a bit too. He was running up to Delphox and embraced her in a hug.

"I was afraid that I would've lost you there," Greninja said.

"It's alright," Delphox stated.

Then to their surprise, Siegfried was not coming towards them. He was actually heading outside the grotto. Was he giving up? This didn't seem like Siegfried at all. They watched him go to his jeep and pull something out. Was it a machine gun, a crossbow, a chainsaw? Then he finally pulled something out which was a box.

Siegfried opened the box and inside was a full set of grenades. Siegfried pulled one of the grenades out and then tossed the box right into the grotto. All of the grenades spilled out of the box while Siegfried was still holding the one in his hand. He made his way towards the driver's seat of his jeep, got in, and started the jeep.

"See you all in hell," Siegfried muttered as he pulled the pin from his grenade.

Upon their horror, Siegfried threw the grenade into the grotto which meant the moment it made impact, it would explode along with the rest of the grenades. Siegfried drove off at a high rate to get away from the fireworks.

"Everybody gather around!" Kadabra shouted.

Seel, Greninja, and Delphox all grabbed Kadabra's arm as he began to prepare a Teleport. Kadabra concentrated heavily as he wanted to get them out of here, and out of harm's way. The grenade finally touched the ground and Kadabra proceeded with the Teleport.

With everyone looking at the dead Pokémon one last time. It was sad to say that their home was no more. All of those Pokémon, Snorlax, were all gone, and these four Pokémon would be the only survivors.

Out in the forest

Pedansky was driving through the rain when suddenly a loud boom took place. It must've been a huge explosion. He saw the tree that he was supposed to head towards, only of it to be caught up in smoke and began to collapse.

"What the hell!" Pedansky cried.

"Greninja, Delphox!" Rotom Dex cried.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu cried.

Munchlax along with the rest of the Pokémon were right behind the jeep only to stop and see the smoke coming up towards the sky. All of the Pokémon's eyes widened in horror.

"DADDY! SEEL!" Munchlax cried.

All of the Pokémon began to scream and cry for their parents as they had a bad feeling they weren't going to make it. Little did they know, all of them were dead.

In the skies

As the group of Claude, Sherri, Sycamore, Sophie, Pidgeot, and Garchomp continue to maneuver through the rain, they saw that the tree was in sight. Then all of a sudden, a huge patch of smoke that just erupted at the tree which caused it to collapse.

"What just happened?" Sherri asked in panic.

"It has to be Siegfried," Claude answered with worry as he saw, "Something tells me he may have found the Pokémon."

Sycamore and Sophie watched on as the smoke was rising up. It was likely that Siegfried was the one behind that tree's collapse.

"Ash, Serena, Frogadier, Braixen, please be okay," Sycamore pleaded.

Siegfried escapes, but not without killing more Pokémon and destroying the tree and grotto. The future seems bleak for Munchlax now since his father is gone, but he has come across the Rainbow Wing. It could indicate that he's destined for something greater than life in the grotto.

Speaking of the Rainbow Wing, I've mentioned that Ash and Serena have also received Scared Ash from Ho-oh back in the beginning of their journey, and it looks like Lance is aware of that. He didn't pay attention to the GS Ball though. You might know where I'm going with that, but it won't be put into play completely as Lance along with everyone else has to handle Siegfried.

Greninja and Delphox escaped in the knick of time, but what's going to happen next? We're not done with Siegfried yet as this conflict continues in the next chapter.
