"I Like a man who can come

Out and say he's nervous on

The first date. I think that

Would be really cute."

Sarah Sahi

Inside a cab, Downtown Vale.

3rd POV

The Yellow cab moves through the streets of Upper-Class district. As the late-night traffic slowed it down, the view slowly pulls into the front. There the chauffeur adjusted his rear view mirror, as he does so he decided to break the silence with his client.

"…So, why are you here Ms?" He turns around to look at the client. She was a young woman with brown hair. Her clothes were nothing to marvel at. Just a white dress under a trench coat. Despite it nearly being midnight, she wore a pair of sunglasses to hide her eyes.

"Śnieg. Hassel Śnieg." She said as she moved her fingers through her scalp. It might look strange, but the chauffeur swears he saw the hair move. Must be a wig.

"Well, Ms. Śnieg, can you tell me why you are here in Vale? Atlas is a long way for such a young girl." The Chauffeur remarks.

"Yes well, I have a friend. He has gone through a rough patch recently… so I figure I take him out for dinner." Śnieg said as she fixed her hair.

"I see. Must be a special guy for you to travel all this way." The Chauffeur remarks as he turns right onto a new street.

"Um, sure." Śnieg remarks as she tried to hide a blush. The Chauffeur noticed this and simply let out a small chuckle.

"Heh, alright. Well in any case, here we are." The Chauffeur said as he stops in front of a fancy restaurant. "Un Restaurante Sin Nombre." Opened up a few months back, but it has proven to be the talk of the town. Takes at least two months to get a reservation there. Whoever this woman is going to see must be wealthy. He then turns around and held out his hand. "That'll be fifty-five Ms. Śnieg."

She reaches into her purse and pulls out a platinum Lien card. Handing it to him, he then thanked the lady for the massive tip as she left the vehicle. She stepped out onto the pavement and the Taxi drove away. She lets out a nervous sigh before heading inside. She made her way through the line of people. Each one eager to try the fine end cuisine. After pushing her way through, she arrived at the receptionist desk.

"Um, hi. I'm here to meet a… friend." Śnieg said to the receptionist.

"Uh huh, sure you are. Who's the man?" The Receptionist said rudely. Many people tried to claim that a friend or lover had set a reservation to try and get front of the line. It has gotten so bad that clients now are required to say a password to know that they are the real deal.

"Mr. Smith." Śnieg remarked slightly irritated as she patted her side before remembering she left it behind.

"And the password?" The Receptionist remarks.

"…Emily." Śnieg states.

The Receptionist looked over ledger. After looking through it, she finds the name and password. To her surprise, she was correct. With a fake smile, she grabbed a menu and gave a nod to the bouncers. She then opened her arm in an inviting pose. "Ah, please follow me. He's been waiting for an hour now."

Śnieg gives a nod and follows her. As she leads Śnieg to the table. She couldn't help but notice the decor. It was definitely high-class. Everybody attending was human and wearing expensive silk suit. The food was exquisite and the wine was aged for at least ten years. All the tropes of a high-class restaurant. As she made her way across the marble floor, the two stopped at a table overlooking the Vale Beach. Truly a beautiful sight to see. And even harder to obtain without wealth. At the table was a man that not long ago was hated by everyone. However due to his recent actions he has become a hero in the eyes of the public. Around his tux was his iconic red scarf, wrapped neatly around his neck. He looked over before giving a faint smile.

"Hello again, Ms. Śnieg." Dismas said as he invited her to sit.

"And to you as well, Mr. Smith." Śnieg said as she sit's down across from him.

As she got herself seated, the receptionist put down a menu and states, "Thanks for attending the Un Restaurante Sin Nombre. A waiter will be around momentarily, please take your time to look over the menu. Till then, can I get you two anything?"

"No, I think we are good." Dismas remarked.

"Are you sure? We have a fine selection of wine's." The Receptionist asked?

"No, I think we both have enough of wine for one lifetime." Śnieg said as she reviewed the menu.

"Alright, your loss." The receptionist said as she walked away. The two silently went over the menu. The soft interior music played in the background. As they reviewed over the menu, Śnieg spoke up after an entire minute of silence.

"So, how did you find this place? Better yet, receive reservations for it?" Śnieg asked without taking her eye's off the menu.

"A friend, she was going to take her girlfriend here for the assignment. However she caught the flue and handed it to me last minute." Dismas said as he flipped to the next page. "I think, I'll have the Beef Wellington."

"Hmm, looks good. Though can you afford it?" Śnieg asked as she looked over the menu again.

"Even without the Vale Government I.O.U I can still afford it. A few trinkets when sold to the right person should get me by for a long time." Dismas said as he wonders if the Vale government will pay for appetizer's. As he pounders he asked, "So, if I may ask. Ms. Śnieg. What's with the wig and fake name? I'd think this place would have been your scenery?"

"It is… just after the incident the press has been hounding me for weeks now. I'd much prefer that we enjoy our food and not be swarmed by the press." Śnieg remarked as she selected a Tuna steak from the menu. As she does a slip of platinum blond hair came down from underneath. "Still, if I knew that having a brunet wig will be uncomfortable. You could have asked me to wear something else."

"Perhaps, but no it's not the hair. I just find the idea of the press flying around you like vultures to be… idiotic and an invasion of privacy." Dismas remarks.

"Yes, well. I learned to avoid the press from a rather young age." Śnieg said as she put down her menu.

"Regardless, your one to talk. I've read the paper's when I was being transfer here. The infamous, Highwayman of Vale. Not very public friendly." Śnieg remarks as the view slowly pulls back towards the kitchen door, just right of the table.

In the window a strange looking man was spying on them through the window. As the view pulls in on the stranger's silver eye's. Dismas voice echoed with a slight chuckle. "Heh, I suppose. But not as infamous as your family name. Specialist Schnee."

Two weeks after the Attack on Beacon. A few hours before.

The view then pulls out of the silver eyes. Revealing that it was no longer that strange man, but Ruby. As she walked down the hall, she hummed to herself as she thought back on the past few weeks. After Dismas was released from the hospital, her team has avoided him like the plague. They felt guilty for jumping to conclusions about him. However after a week and half of silence Dismas had enough and had Ruby drag them before him. He scolded them for it, and told them that despite loosing his precious locket cause of them. He forgives them… for the most part.

He was still angry that he lost his locket but was willing to forgive them for it. The girls then explained that they knew he forgave them, just that they were avoiding him because they tried to get the Locket back. Turns out, they spent a week looking for Mr. Wick. His shop was closed with the sign saying Foreclose on the door. Realizing that he will most likely never see the face of his most beloved ever again. He has been keeping to himself in a state of depression. This didn't help make the girls feel any better… till today that is. Weiss overheard Professor ("DOCTOR!") Oobleck talking with port about, the August lovers project.

Researching it with her friends. To celebrate the day dedicating to love, students can earn extra credit by going out on a date. It didn't had to be romantic, but this actually didn't sound like a bad idea. Take Dismas out on a date, to make up for the incident. The girls all thought this was a good idea. Problem was, who's gonna do it? Yang promised to help Bigby get a date before going dancing with Bigby, Blake was going out with Tardif. Not as a date but because rumors came up about robbery's involving an ice-creamed haired girl. Ruby, well she didn't accuse him of murder. So that left Weiss. Realizing this, she put on the best Schnee act she could and looked for a place to eat that was within her budget. Once the reservations were arranged, she quickly head to class and planned to ask Dismas once Professor ("DOCTOR! …And two weeks detention for spying on your teacher, Ms. Schnee.") finished class with his announcement of this extracurricular task.

That was an hour and half ago. Ruby was heading to Professor (DOCTOR, and that's two more weeks for you two Ms. Rose.) Ooblecks classroom to see how well it went. When she got there, she spotted Dismas walking away from Weiss. Her expression, was… not what she expected.

"Um, how did it go Weiss?" Ruby asked with a nervous tone.

"He… rejected me." Weiss slowly said with annoyed and slowed tone.

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." Ruby replies as she puts her hand on her partners shoulder.

"He rejected me… because someone else, asked him first." Weiss finished.

"I know the difficulty's of bein…" Ruby then paused as she realized what her partner said. Her eye's suddenly went wide in horror upon hearing it. "…I'm sorry, he did what?"

"Apparently he received a call from someone. She asked… and he agreed. Seems that this… announcement was the last thing to convince him." Weiss remarked.

"Oh, well good for him I guess." Ruby remarked feeling slightly bad that the plan failed, but glad that Dismas was seeing someone. However Weiss wasn't so excited. She grabbed Ruby by her collar and pulled in close with a derange look on her face.

"NO, it isn't good Ruby. I have been feeling guilty. Me a Schnee, feeling guilty over a mistake. It isn't because I can't fix it that greatly annoys me. But the fact that someone else just got in the way of a perfect and calculated plan. It infuriates me." Weiss said in a slow but terrifying tone as she nearly pressed her cheeks against the terrified Ruby.

"W-Well, there… is-s always, next time." Ruby struggled to say without setting Weiss off. Unfortunately there is nothing Ruby could have said to calm her down.

"And we won't know when that it is… so we must find out who this… harlot is." Weiss remarks slowly as an idea came into her head.

She then let go of Ruby's collar and grabbed her by the tail end of her cape. As she dragged Ruby down the hall, students watch in fear as a crazed eye Weiss was dragging Ruby. Ruby then said aloud. "Weiss, No!"

Weiss responded by saying. "Weiss, Yes!"

Outside in the courtyard.

In front of Beacon Huntsman statues, Bigby was sitting with Yang and Boudica. They were calculating something slowly in their minds. As they tried to figure out the how, Jay and Audrey came up behind them.

"Pourquoi bonjour mes amis! How are you three doing?" Audrey greeted and asked.

"Ah, guten Tag, Frau Blanch. Yang and Boudica are helping me reach someone." Bigby explained.

"Oh, is it for the August of love project?" Jay asked with a slight giggle.

"Um, maybe… it just that announcement… caught me off guard. Figure we don't have much time left before she leaves for her Heimatland." Bigby explained nervously.

"Aw, comme c'est romantique" Audrey said as she hugged Bigby.

"I know right." Yang chimes in. "That's why we are helping him."

"Well, if he wants romantic advice he could have come to me." Jay said with a slight hint of jealousy in his tone.

"It's not that, it's just that she lives far enough that I need help getting to her." Bigby said as he looked up at the Atlas Airship hovering miles in the air.

"Aw, I see." Jay remarks before realizing something. "Oh, by the way. Who is this fair maiden you wish to ask?"

Before Bigby could say anything, Weiss came barging out the front door. Everyone turns to her and she looked towards them. Even from this distance, they can see the crazy in her eyes. She then marched over to them with a derange look in her eyes. Before anyone could ask her, or the half choked Ruby she was dragging behind; she lets go of Ruby and grabbed Jay by the collar.

"Jay, who is, Dismas… Seeing?" Weiss asked as she held the jester by his collar.

"Ugh, don't know. Also, Weiss… why is your hand wet?" Jay asked but was ultimately ignored as Weiss tossed him aside. Before turning to Boudica.

"Boudica, (Huff) where is (Huff) Dismas (Grunt) going?" Weiss said as she tried to lift Bigby up by her battle garment. But she failed to even pick her off the ground.

Letting out a small sigh; Boudica picks Weiss up by the back of her shirt before asking her, "(Sigh) As much as admire your inner warrior strength, I have to ask what is wrong with you?"

"Dismas, rejected Weiss." Ruby answers as she catches her breath.

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that Weiss." Yang said sympathetically.

"… Because someone else asked him first." Ruby finished causing Yang to stop. After a few moments she lets out a small giggle before falling over into a full blown laughter. Shortly everyone else joined in as Weiss simply just crossed her arms and give a pouty look.

"… I loath, all of you dolts." Weiss remarked as she crossed her arms.

"Heh, heh sorry. But if you wanted to know where Dismas is going you could have just come to me. Instead of taking the 'la mort avant le déshonneur' (death before dishonor) approach." Audrey remarked as she came down from her laughter. Realizing that she knows the person Dismas is going to see, Weiss tried to run to her. But it was difficult to get anywhere when being hold by a giant Viking lady.

"You know who she is?! TELL ME NOW!" Weiss said as she struggled to get out Boudica's grasp.

"Oh, I'll tell. But only if you promise not to touch me or interfere with the date." Audrey said as she walked up to Weiss. Not close enough for her to touch her but just enough that she was out of her reach.

"NEVER!" Weiss proclaimed.

"Alright then, have fun not knowing." Audrey said as she begin to walk away.

"WAIT!" Weiss cried out causing Audrey to stop. She then turned around with a smirk on her face.

"Yes?" Audrey asked.

"(Sigh) I promise not to touch you or interfere with Dismas date." Weiss said in a defeated tone.

"Pinky promise?" Ruby added as she held up her pinky finger.

"Really?" Weiss said as she looked down on the pinky in slight annoyance. She looked up at Audrey who was waiting for her to make it, while in the background Jay was picking himself up. "(Sigh) Pinky promise."

She shook the pinky and the promise was made. Audrey then said, "Well, I don't know who esactly he's going to meet. But it is at this restaurant called 'Un Restaurante Sin Nombre'. I had a Reservation set up for me and my girlfriend. But Coco called in sick. So instead of letting the reservation go to waste I gave it to Dismas. I believe he also just left."

Weiss knew the restaurant. She wished she knew she would be in this situation. Schnee's would have gotten in easily… but that would mean spending a lot of money. Something that would catch the attention of her father. Realizing that, she calmed down. Boudica then set her down on her feet. As she stood their an idea appeared in her head.

"Ruby, I'm going to need your assistance tonight." Weiss said as she grabbed Ruby by the hand.

"What, but I thought you…" Before Ruby could even finish Weiss grabbed her right pinkie and snapped it. Breaking her pinkie along with her promise. Ruby lets out a small gasp in horror. Both to how she broke a pinkie promise and her finger. This was enough to grab her before dragging her towards the Bullhead station.

"…Did you really had to let her go?" Jay asked.

"Yep." Audrey remarked.

"She will probaby ruin the date." Bigby added.

"Oh, most certainly." Audrey remarked.

"So, why did you let her?" Yang added with a worried tone in her voice.

"Oh, because I may have fibbed. The person that asked Dismas out is none other then her sister. Mme. Winter Schnee" Audrey said with a small grin forming on her lip.

"Oh… OOOOOHHHHH, that should be fun to watch." Yang said as a devious smile formed on her face.

"Agree, I almost wished to cancel my plans for the evening to watch the fireworks." Jay remarked.

"Really? What are they?" Bigby asked.

"Oh, just a lonely evening with my favorit Lapin noisette. Best part it's not even my birthday." Jay said with a small giggle.

"Ah, well. Please remember to use protection." Audrey said before turning to the three. "Anyways, I'm going to watch the fireworks. Have a lovely time helping Bigby here."

She and Jay then walked away. Leaving the three behind at the fountain. As soon as they are gone Boudica was the first to speak up.

"… Warrior Schnee shouldn't interfere." Boudica remarked.

"With Dismas date?"

"Ja, Warrior matting rituals are as sacred as war rituals." Boudica remarked.

"That, is… surprisingly mature of you Boudica." Bigby remarked in a surprise tone. He then turned to Yang. "Speaking of, shouldn't you stopped her before dragging off your sister? I mean hasn't Dismas gone through enough?"

"Eh, I'm sure Ruby can stop her before it happens…" Yang remarked before an idea hit her. "…oh actually, I have an idea to get you up there Bigby."

"Oh, you have? Oh Wunderbar. How do we get their?" Bigby asked with some excitement.

"You aren't going to like." Yang said as she put her hand on his shoulder.

Bigby gave a confused look. He had no idea what Yang meant till she grabbed him by the leg. All he could do is scream as Yang lifted him from the ground and spin around at a fast pace. After spinning for the sixth time, she lets go of Bigby and he went sailing upwards. Screaming all the way.

"(Impressed whistle) By Odin's beard. You've gotten worst." Boudica remarked.

"What? How come?" Yang asked with a brow raised.

"Because last month, you could have tossed the him even further." Boudica explains as she pinched Yang's arm. "Perhaps tomorrow we go into the Emerald Forest. And fight off a hoard or two of monstrous Grimm. That should cure you of your sommaravfall."

"Hmm, I guess a few rounds against a hoard of Ursa wouldn't hurt." Yang said with a confident smile. She and Boudica then walked down the road towards the Bullhead station. "But not tonight. We are going to tear up the dance."

"Ja! låt oss förstöra dansgolvet som om det hade kränkt våra förfäder!" (Yes! let's destroy the dance floor as if it had offended our ancestors!) Boudica shouts in joy and cheer.

"AH yeah. Can't wait." Yang said with a cheeky smile.

Onboard the Atlas warship.

The view pulls out on the two and up towards the Atlas Airship. It then shifts to the inside's of the Atlas Warship. Inside, Ironwood had just finished his third interrogation session with Torchwick. He still didn't give anything up. Even under the threat of bringing Dismas flintlock onboard. Though he took some joy seeing him scrim a bit at the thought of being shot again. As he walked down the hall, a mug with coffee and whisky swirling about, he noticed a familiar ginger walking in the same direction as him.

"Ah, Penny. How are you doing today?" Ironwood greeted.

"Oh, Salutations General Ironwood. I'm doing swell. Especially later on today." Penny said with a smile.

"Oh, how come?" Ironwood asked with a raised brow as he takes a sip from his mug as he and Penny entered the bridge.

"Because someone asked me out on a date." Penny states casually.

This caused Ironwood to spit out his coffee in pure shock. Nearby Atlas soldiers and officers that were on the bridge went silent. Ironwood has treated Penny like a puppy. Nobody was aloud to kick the puppy let alone touch it without disciplinary action. Hearing that somebody had the balls to ask her out on a date completely shocked the entire room into silence.

"I'm sorry, but what about you going on a date?!" Ironwood staggered to say through his shock.

"You said, before leaving for Vale at 1430 hundred hours that the only time I'm aloud to go on a 'date' is if; A. the date is a trusted high ranking Atlas military personal. B. a trusted Huntsman from either Beacon or Atlas Academy's. C. Can make it onboard this ship and ask me without being taken down by any Atlas personnel. Am I correct to presume those circumstances hasn't changed?" Penny asked the now stunned Ironwood. He did said that just to get her off the subject. He was about to ask who requested this, but before he could say anything. The entire Airship begin to rock like it was hit by something.

"Oh, I believe that is him." Penny said giddily with excitement.

As the warship begin to rock back and forth from the shockwave, the scene pulls all around the entire ship. AK drones were tossed down the hall they were patrolling, A sergeant was tossed from the crapper, Torchwick was tossed back against the wall, cracking his nose against the side of the wall. As the rocking slowly stopped, Ironwood struggled to stand while also holding onto his mug.

"Men, Static report!" Ironwood called out to the Atlas Personal.

"Sir, we were hit by something large, Sir!" A soldier who had a sandwich scattered around him called out as he wiped a pickle slice from his helmet.

"I know that, but what was it?! A Shell, Bolder? Hippies?" Ironwood demanded.

"Sir, None of them sir. However, it seems that we were hit by a red bull, sir." An Atlas Intelligence officer said as she helped remove a staple from a colleague's head. Once pulled out she then pulled up on the large screen surveillance of what happened. On recording, there was nothing. After a few moments a bird flew by the camera before it was suddenly smashed by what looked like a red bull.

"Oh, I do hope he's ok." Penny remarks in a sympathetic tone as the creature slid down, slowly.

"Do we know where it land?" Ironwood asked.

"Sir, no Sir." The Atlas Intelligence officer said as she turn the live camera feed to the one's at the bottom of the airship. Zooming in and out of the camera feed, it became apparent that the bull didn't fell to the ground.

"Where in the wor… (CRASH) A sudden crashing noise can be heard as the grate above Penny fell at her feet before someone falls through, landing in Penny's arms. He wasn't the bull that everyone expected, rather a short skinny boy in rags and chains. Over the right side of his head was the letter A branded.

"Thew, Vielen Dank, Penny." The strange boy said in Penny's arms.

"No problem Bigby. Are you here to take me out on a date?" Penny asked in an excited tone.

Before Bigby could say anything, there was multiple cocking noise catching his attention. Looking around their was multiple soldiers including Ironwood all pointing their weapons directly at Bigby's head.

"Um, if I say Ja, I am. They won't shoot me… Richtig?" Bigby asked as he begin to sweat bullets.

"Sadly I can't say. However General Ironwood did set a limit on my exposer to others. You just so happen to fall into those conditions." Penny explains with a smirk that somehow didn't fill him with any confidence.

"Oh, wunderbar." Bigby said as he gave the General a nervous grin. After a few seconds, Ironwood lets out a small sigh before motioning his men to stand down.

"Your, Bigby right?" Ironwood asked.

"Um, ja. I am." Bigby states nervously.

"From Team ATAB?" Ironwood remarked as he crossed his arms.

"Ja, Team ATAB." Bigby replied as more sweat run down his face.

Ironwood then stares down the poor student, putting the intimidation into him. Even without the amount of guns pointed at his head, Bigby can feel the pressure from Ironwood alone. After a few moments Ironwood states. "Have her back by midnight, or I swear to Monty that the two brothers couldn't fix what I do to your sorry corpse. Understood?"

"(Gulp) Crystal." Bigby said nervously.

Ironwood then motioned for Penny to leave with Bigby, but not before saying. "Enjoy your date. I hope it goes… presently, for both of you."

"I do hope so as well." Penny said energetically before walking away with Bigby still in her arms.

As she rants on how she picked out the perfect dress for the occasion, Bigby was focused on how Ironwood was making a slit throat gesture with his hand before making the 'I am watching' gesture after. Bigby let's out a gulp before muttering. "Oh Hurensohn."

Hello Everybody, Wombag1786 here. So last month I've been busy lately. New class's new schedule… new arch enemy that proves how much I hate spiders… (Long story, involves a lot of crying screaming and begging for the sweet release of death.) Any way's thankfully by the time of the next chapter release, I would have mostly finished everything and can return to work as normal. So let's answer some questions and comments.

From VGBlackwing: Wow, that's a little cynical… and dark. But thankfully no. However I have something much worse planned in mind. It will involve those space crystals, the burning of Beacon and the death of **** but will end on a bitter sweat note.

Thanks for writing VGBlackwing

From Kirston: Yes, a month and half I believe. I do apologies I've been busy with a lot of things. Sickness being one of them. Ah, I see. Been meaning to get a profile pic. Maybe at the end of this or my other story.

Thanks for writing Kirston

From gold crown dragon: What are you… oh huh right. This is the first time the Countess and Ruby had met. Weird.

Thanks for writing gold crown dragon

From Carre: 1. No problem

2A. It's fine. Really.

2B. Ah, well… huh… fair point. That's a fair point.

2C. Phew, thanks. Language isn't my forte even English is difficult for me. (Hence why I write these stories.)

2D. Heh, yeah sorry about that. Guess is should have told you that there are three versions of the song.

Regardless, you did it better then Google translator so don't feel so bad. You did just fine.

3. Yeah, cloak and dagger can be a real bitch.

4. Maybe, or I might add more tention by having Weiss choose between two. Her mother, or her butler. Dun, Dun, Dun!

5. Take your time. I start writing Chapter 5 in late April.

Thanks for writing Carre

You know… while writing this chapter I realized how close we are to Valentine's day. A day I find to be as good as mystery stuff candy. (Looks good, but has a nasty jam inside. We gain calories and hate every bite of it.) Basically, I hate Valentine day. Regardless I do find it ironic that I start this arc during the same week as it.

Right, thanks for reading, please fav and fol the story. Leave a comment or question down bellow.

This is Wombag1786 signing off.
