Argentum is watching a movie with Titan, when all of a sudden, the television switches to a national broadcast of the fallen tributes. The anthem starts playing, and Jeanne's face is the first one that shows up.

"BABE!" Argentum screams at the television with one hand out to reach it. He realizes it's no use reaching for the television, but he screams in anger and agony at the loss of Jeanne. "WHAT DID YOU DO!?"

Jeanne left Argentum without any farewells. Titan just informed him earlier today that Jeanne would return by dinner, but she never did. He also didn't care about the cannon he heard earlier in the day. He thought it belonged to someone else, and he forgot that Jeanne was supposed to return by dinner. Argentum starts crying. He can't believe Jeanne is dead. He can't believe she just left him without saying goodbye. He can't believe he's all alone in this tower, after his alliance left him.

Well, almost.

Titan rubs his back. "Sorry dude. I don't know what happened to her." He had to lie on the latter part. Of course Titan knew what happened. "I tried stopping her, but she insisted on going."

Argentum can see from his peripheral vision the face of another girl among the fallen. He doesn't remember her so much, but she looks familiar.

"Well, you should've STOPPED HER!" Argentum attempts to grab the whole movie and game library, but Titan stops him.

"I did. She just wouldn't listen to me!" Titan reasons out. "Don't come thrashing my tower. I told her it's not safe to go out."

"Then you should've stopped her HARDER!"

Titan shakes his head. "That's her responsibility."

Argentum and Titan argue further, but eventually, Argentum gives up and Titan leaves him alone. He's lost all mood to continue watching the movie. Babe is gone. Birdy is gone. He's still with this asshole Titan after all his allies left him to rot. It's been days since he's inside the tower. He's pretty much recovered from Brenna's accidental attack, but then he realizes that he hasn't been doing anything all this time. He knows he's lazy, but just goofing around and talking to his babe since the start of the Hunger Games is not gonna get him anywhere. He's lucky his allies haven't killed him yet. He makes a lot of excuses to not contribute to the alliance.

He's in the Hunger Games! How could he have forgotten that? He's from One. He needs to kill. Why the fuck did he even volunteer? He's just embarrassing himself! He needed to remember that he did this to prove his father wrong. If he wants that family fortune, he will have to prove himself here and come out victorious. Argentum knows he's not the best trainee in the district academy, but ranking fourth isn't that far. He can kill, and he will. He volunteered even though he wasn't chosen for that spot. He's gonna do whatever it takes to show people that he's more than just the lazy, selfish, and useless trained tribute in this year's Hunger Games.

He then looks out at the window, reminding himself what the arena is like outside the tower. He knows he must kill, but when, where, and how in an arena like this? The spark in him has now ignited at least. He's gonna get out of here and find tributes to kill, then he will become the victor of the 140th Hunger Games. Being safe in a tower like this is cool, but he can't win by just playing safe. He needs to kill, and he's going to.

He'll just wait for Titan to come back, then he can ask Titan when he can leave. For now, he can't, or at least he thinks he shouldn't with the tornadoes outside. Maybe that's how babe died.

Filly wakes up on the muddy ground. He tries to remember what happened. He probably passed out after Dorian betrayed him last night. He's sad, hungry, tried, confused, and distraught after last night's events. He still is after remembering everything that happened last night.

On the six days he's in the arena, he's almost always been with Corinna and Dorian. He doesn't care about Dorian anymore after killing Corinna and almost killing him. Corinna, she didn't deserve this though. Filly knows he's lucky, but she wasn't. Corinna is gone, and there's nothing he can do about it. Now he's all on his own. He's a mess. He's been crying about his allies dying. He's been crying about his family. He's been crying about last night. He prefers expressing his emotions like that rather than just bottling them up altogether, but he's a mess. It doesn't help that he landed on the mud while crying last night.

Filly hasn't recovered completely from last night, but he's gonna walk a bit. He's finally not in a mountain or in a floating outer-spacey world. He's finally in some place that's greener. He's most likely going to find food with all the greens around him. He just has to find the right one so he doesn't poison himself and cry again in pain. It's hard for him to believe that he still has a lot of tears left to cry after crying an ocean for the past week.

After walking for a while, he finds a farm. Filly is surprised about this, because that means there's a lot of food for him to eat. He goes over the farm, but he doesn't know which ones are ripe enough to eat and which ones aren't poisonous. It takes him a while to notice the mansion. He panics for a bit, then realizes that a window of the mansion is facing the farm, so he panics even more! He doesn't see anyone looking at him now, but he's gonna leave the farm for now. It might be too dangerous for him to steal crops when an arena twist might spring out of nowhere and kill him.

He decides to go elsewhere to explore, in fear of an arena twist involving the farm. He walks some more, and he finds a golden tree. He can feel his eyes light up, not only because the tree is colored gold, but he might find better food there. The gamemakers put stuff that look special once in a while. All he has to do is find out if the fruits it grows are poisonous or not.

He sees a golden fruit on the tree. He wants to get it, but a snake appears. "SSSSS..."

"AAAH!" Filly covers his mouth immediately after when he realizes that someone might find him for screaming.

In a whisper-esque female voice, the snake says, "Welcome child. Thisssss isssss the goldenglorie tree. I sssssee that you're eyeing on the fruit above you. Why not have a tassssste of the one and holy goldenglorie fruit?"

After seeing the snake, he doesn't think this is right. The snake might be tricking him into eating it. He might die because of this snake, but it talks. That's unusual! "W-" Filly is nervous talking to a snake of all living creatures! "Why should I taste it?"

"Becaussssse... the goldenglorie tree is the one and only golden tree around thisssss arena. It'sssss called goldenglorie for a gloriousssss reassssson. You've made it thisssss far to find it, and it'sssss only rewarding for you to tassssste the fruit in thisssss unique tree. You can take one with you if you're full right now. You can trussssst me that the fruit isssssn't poisssssonousssss. Thisssss isssss all I've been eating in thisssss garden." The snake drops a fruit for Filly, and picks up another fruit for it to consume. It bites on the fruit and continues, "Sssssee?"

"W-What happens if I don't eat?"

"Sssss..." is what the snake says while thinking of an answer. "It could... affect... the livesssss of your family and friendsssss back home. You want them sssssafe, right?"

Filly nods without hesitation. "I will do anything to keep them safe."

"If you don't want to risssssk it, then follow asssss I sssssay: Take a bite, and imagine being home with them."

"O-O-Okay," stutters Filly. He doesn't know if he should believe this snake, but the snake didn't die after eating the fruit. He may be hungry, but is it worth eating a special fruit when he doesn't know what the consequences of consuming it are?

Chip has been feeling lighter than usual since yesterday, but then he reminds himself that he's in a part of the arena with zero gravity. The tornadoes that were chaotically roaming around the sector have disappeared not too long ago. The sky is now more open for him to swim to the tower. Normally, he'd be wary doing so, but he knows there's a guardian inside the tower, just like how Eltha is living in a castle.

Chip wonders if he will receive a special reward for finding them all. He remembers he was given a taser, by Anakyn. He wonders what its use is. Perhaps there's a guardian who's more dangerous than Eltha? He doesn't know it yet, but there has to be something he can do with the taser eventually.

When he arrives at the tower's doorstep, he is about to press the doorbell, but Titan opens the door before he gets to press the doorbell, as if Titan was expecting him.

"Welcome!" Titan greets. He introduces himself formally, and Chip listens to him talk.

Chip already knows the stuff Eltha told him, but there's also new information he tries to remember. His attention span isn't really one to keep up with Titan consistently, but he can hear a keyword and remember it, then connect the dots from the information he already knows.

When Titan is done talking, he calls an avox to lead Chip to a guest room. When Chip gets the room of his own just like when he was in Cryo Castle, he finds a gift on his bed just for him. A '3' is labeled on the container. He opens it to find a piece of tablet, and that it came from his district team! He finds sheets of paper stapled together, and so he reads them silently.

"It's easy to get lost in the mountain, and pretty much anywhere else in this arena, so I figured this holo map would help. You can navigate through the arena and detect nearby tributes better this way. Be careful out there, Chip, and don't forget to arm yourself.

From,

Anakyn

P.S. I'm doing better compared to the first gift I sent, even if people think my recent actions (including this one) are reckless as fuck. Renz and Hazel also have notes for you, by the way, since we pooled enough money together to get this map."

"Dear Chip,

There's still a long road ahead of you, and we believe it can go even longer. Take this holo map with you. Azriel and I believe it can optimize your algorithm. We're all here waiting for you to come home.

Take care and good luck.

Hazel"

"A tablet for a Tablet.

Hope this helps you on your elemental journey. Don't be afraid to take risks. Go against the algorithm if your gut tells you to. You got this, kid.

Sincerely,

Renz

P.S. Azriel didn't get to send a message because we sent him home days ago. Just know he's rooting for you as well, kid."

Chip can feel an energy of confidence after reading all three notes. He does not want to increase his hopes after a sponsor gift, but it is exciting to know that his district team has his back.

He inspects the tablet. It's a square glass panel with a button. He presses the button and the panel lights up. He can see dots all around a model of the arena. Chip thinks this is cool, and it doesn't take him long to figure out that the dots indicate other tributes in this holographic arena map.

Something intrigues him though. It's not the option to show or hide the extra colored dots for the guardians. It's the fact that there are dots on where he is. He may have a twin, but his twin didn't come here with him. It can only mean one thing, and his algorithm tells him to prepare for defense and stay put in the meantime. It's what can keep him safe right now.

Titan likes Chip. Chip listened attentively while he was talking, unlike the Two girl who attempted to kill him. When he saw Chip approaching his tower from the control room, he received a message from the gamemakers about leaving Chip's sponsor gift with him, by sending it to his control room.

As Chip inspects his new holo map from his room, Titan can see Argentum preparing to leave his room. Titan knows Chip is aware of the presence of another tribute thanks to his holo map, but Argentum has no idea he's sharing a tower with a fellow tribute. Otherwise, Argentum would've taken Chip out by now.

Titan prepares to meet Argentum by the entrance, with an eco-friendly bag filled with food in hand. When Argentum arrives, they rearrange all of the items his ex-allies left him with, disposing items Argentum doesn't need and stuffing the food into the two bags he has, eventually not needing the eco-friendly bag. Argentum needs something more than just food it seems.

"Do you have a weapon?" Argentum asks.

Titan's eyes widen in surprise. It's the first time someone asked a weapon from him, and to his luck, he has some kept in the storage room. He snaps his fingers to summon an avox.

Titan replies with a question. "What kind?"

"Uh... a spear!"

Titan orders one of his avoxes to get him a spear from the storage room, but he doesn't explicitly mention the storage room. The tributes shouldn't find out about it unless they've been exploring with a key. Titan hasn't seen or known anyone with it, so he knows none of the tributes know about his storage room yet.

Once Argentum is given a spear, he says, "Adios!" to Titan before flying out with two bags filled with stuff he needs. He left some of his stuff in the living room, including a ukulele that an avox is strumming randomly right now.

Arlenna and Ciara have rested well inside the mountain for the past few days. They sacrificed the yellow blanket they had and used it as a bandage substitute to Ciara's leg injury. They're running low on food and water, but they find themselves somewhere else.

"Where the heck are we?" Ciara asks rhetorically.

Looking around before speaking, Arlenna says, "We might be able to find another guardian here."

"Gosh it's warm here," says Ciara as she fans herself with her hands.

Arlenna agrees by nodding.

"What is that?" Ciara points to a building.

"Hmmm..." Arlenna tries to remember the term for it, then says, "I know it's called... a pagoda."

"Oh?"

"Someone told me about it once."

"Do you think the guardian is in there?"

After a pause, Arlenna replies, "Let's find out."

They take all the time they need to walk to the pagoda. They both agree that going there is a safe option for a period of time. When they arrive, a man with dark scarlet skin in a red robe greets them.

"My, my! Welcome, young ladies. I am Lucius, guardian of the fire sector." He licks his upper lip and winks at them one at a time.

"Don't you even dare!" Ciara responds with her eyes wide.

Lucius welcomes them inside, and he tells the avoxes to serve them food. Lucius talks more about himself and his purpose as the two girls each whatever barbecue is available. Lucius would touch either girl without permission from time to time, and Ciara has to call him out loud enough to grab the avoxes' attentions. They may have food, but they just met Lucius.

Lainey finds her way down the mountain. She rested on the summit for the night. It was safe to assume that staying there for a night was safe. The careers didn't have stuff there at all. One of their faces were shown on the sky last night. There's no trace of any of them at all for the whole night. Lainey never felt safer in the arena than she did last night. Not even Lucius was there to make her paranoid.

Lainey looks at the new item she found last night. She keeps it in her jacket pocket. How was it even possible for the careers to miss out on it? Could it have been there just last night or a few nights ago? There was absolutely nothing else there, other than the stationary conveyor belts and platforms, and also the dome-esque border of the summit. The conveyor belts didn't move at all, but Lainey was expecting them to at anytime. The platforms still have the letters and numbers in them. Just staying there makes her remember her ally dying right in front of her. She may have been feeling safe, but she wasn't feeling the most comfortable in that environment.

Lainey can't stop thinking how lucky she is. The careers actually abandoned the cornucopia, and she's still in disbelief as she makes her way down.

After a while, she finds a locked case. Now is the time she takes out the card key she found last night from her jacket pocket! She can feel the gears on the locked case, but she ignores them as she taps her card key on the white part of the box. The case beeps as it unlocks instantly.

Inside the case, she picks up a new weapon. She recognizes this as some kind a scythe. It's good to have an extra weapon, but now she has more weapons than allies. That sudden thought dampens her mood.

Brenna decides to change her luck, and so she goes down one level on the next staircase she sees, instead of just roaming on the same level for another day. A bit more of roaming leads her to an exit. Instead of feeling light and airy, she sees green grass below her. Meters away is a lake, and when there's a lake, there's water.

She drinks from the cold lake, not even thinking of the possibility that it can be poisonous. When she's done, she doesn't really know where to go. She can follow the perimeter of the lake and end up at the forest in the distance. She can also go the other way and end up in the forest as well.

She notices the castle too. For it to be in the middle of the lake, there must be something in there. She sees flat chunks of ice around the lake. Perhaps she can use those to hop herself into the castle. She sees a rowboat docked in the distance as well. It's not too far for her to use. She just needs to be careful with the ice chunks floating above the lake.

She also has the option to re-enter the mountain, as she sees another entrance or exit in the distance. Brenna can't decide where to go. She is walking around awkwardly and aimlessly. Then, she decides to stop doing that. She'll instead sit by the lake while staying alert. She wants to receive a sign, so she will remain patient and alert to make the safest move for the day. Sure, the Hunger Games is not always about playing safe, but she can't really decide where to go. She'll wait for the sign then continue to kill whoever is in her way for victory.

"Here's what I'm gonna do," starts Annaleigh. "Her cuff is on the pillow on top of the pillar by the staircase. When I grab it, we run out. I'll use it to get us through the lake. Just wait by the dining area, so you can see it all happen."

"Okay," Horden says in response.

The two make their way to the dining area. Horden has his bag and Annaleigh's bag with him. He watches as Annaleigh approaches the pillar on the left.

Annaleigh looks at the cool figurine on the left. That's not what she's looking for, but she appreciates the art in the figurine. It actually looks like Eltha herself. It's small and made of crystal, and even though it may be valuable outside the Hunger Games, Annaleigh knows she's not outside the Hunger Games. Instead, she looks over at the other pillar. That's where she finds Eltha's aqua cuff.

With that, Horden stands up from his seat. Annaleigh mouths a, "Go!" and they both run out of the castle. All of their stuff is with Horden. All Annaleigh has is the cuff she just stole, and she thinks that's enough to get her through, smiling in satisfaction at that thought.

"Oh no," Eltha says lethargically with a sigh. "I'm not happy about that."

Eltha can see the action unfold from her control room. Nobody really said that tributes are not allowed to steal her elemental weapon, but she is not happy with what she just saw happened. She is the guardian of this sector, so she can do anything she wants to mess with them as long as they're still in the area. Besides, the cuff can already give them an advantage to cross the lake without having to swim. That's what Eltha plans to do later in the Hunger Games, but with the cuff stolen from her, she can't do it anymore.

"Fine. Mess with me, and I'll mess with you too."

As a guardian, she has powers over this area of land, and lake. She doesn't have to kill them, but she wants to frighten them. She wants to put them in a situation that will challenge them.

Brenna stays alert, but with the grumbling beneath her, there's nothing she can do to stop it. She should be running away, but she can see two figures in the distance. They're not really approaching her. In fact, they're slanting off towards her direction. Brenna doesn't think those figures belong to any of the young kids. She can't even keep track who's still alive and who isn't. All she cares about is the number, and the number right now is thirteen, including Brenna herself.

After Brenna stands up, she picks up her battle axe and prepares for battle. She can see both figures jumping on ice chunks from time to time. When that's not possible, it looks like water is... carrying them over? It's a weird sight to see, especially in a lake where it's waveless. Brenna doesn't really know that since she's never been to the sea, but she still finds it weird that the lake is helping them cross the lake itself. Before she is presented with enough time and space to recognize both figures, the grumbling becomes more intense. It almost makes her fall, but she uses the other end of the battle axe for support.

Brenna should run towards the opportunity presenting itself right in front of her, but a giant serpentine creature emerges from the bottom of the lake. It is light blue and has dark blue crystals all over its body. Brenna has never seen anything like it before, so she steps back in shock.

She can see the creature attack the pair of tributes. She can then hear both of them scream. Both voices are very familiar, one male and one female. Everything that happened after that was very chaotic. There was too much splashing and screaming to decipher what exactly happened.

BOOM!

The giant mutt dives back into the depths of the lake. Brenna is pretty sure she only heard one cannon, but she sees both figures disappear. Impossible! Whatever just happened, only one death is recorded. What just happened? She doesn't really know.

One thing is for sure:

She got her sign not to go towards the castle.

This is Ingeo's third day as Halizeia's farming intern. Another afternoon is coming to an end, and all he's doing in the Hunger Games is harvesting crops. What on earth.

Halizeia tells him she's going ahead, so as she enters the mansion, Ingeo takes this time to think what is happening around him and what he should do next. He's still curious about the arena.

He remembers the goldenglorie tree! He should check it out. Halizeia isn't watching him after all. It wouldn't hurt as long as he didn't eat the fruit. On the way to it, he sees the golden snake lying on the ground motionlessly. His heart skips a beat. He shouldn't go there when he's told not to.

That's why he doesn't go any further. He wonders if the snake is dead, but he's going back inside the mansion. He wants to find out, but it's totally not worth the risk.

Halizeia goes to her control room, and she sees Ingeo approaching the goldenglorie tree. She's about to get mad, until he decides it's better to turn back. Does he not know I'm watching him when I'm not around him? Halizeia then sees why Ingeo decided to be a good boy and turn around.

Uh-oh. It can only mean one thing: Somebody ate the fruit, the forbidden fruit. She shakes her head disappointingly at this realization. It's in the arena because it has a purpose, but if she's protecting tributes in here, then that's not really a good sign. The fruit's effects won't harm her anyway. It's just a matter of time somebody sneaks in to get the fruit and eat it. Now, she has to prepare for the worst, if not one of the worst, that can happen and embrace the inevitable.

She rewinds the footage from when she entered the mansion. She anticipates Ingeo to grab a fruit and eat it, but what happens next is the same thing she saw when she first got back to her control room. That can't be possible for the snake then, so she rewinds back to when she entered the mansion, but this time, she's looking at the monitor with the goldenglorie tree. The snake's skin is already lying beneath the tree. Her eyes widen and she adjusts her sitting position. A chill runs down her spine. How could she have not seen this earlier!?

She looks at other screens for signs of tributes within the area. At the same time, she slowly rewinds the footage of the goldenglorie tree. Halizeia immediately sees on another screen that there is a boy in the mudlands. He's currently receiving food and water as a sponsor gift. He also receives a package containing a stuffed animal, specifically a blue Yorkshire Terrier. He hugs it, and she can see the warmth in his face.

Halizeia needs to backtrack if this kid went to the goldenglorie tree, so she makes the rewinding of the goldenglorie footage go faster. That's when she sees the snake and the boy interacting. Halizeia covers her mouth as she rewatches the interaction unfold. "Oh shit," she mutters. She checks the time of when it happened, and now she knows why she missed it. She was making breakfast during that time! Who would've known someone she never met would eat the fruit from the tree? Oh well. There's no other choice she has now. She can only hope that the boy will be safe from the snake's wrath.

Kobe is starving like there's no tomorrow. If he doesn't find food, there's really not gonna be a tomorrow. He finds an exit at long last, and he staggers to something on the ground. It takes him time to realize that it's a giant barbecue grill. He can see the barbecue at the edge of it. He doesn't care if it's poisonous. He's biting it because at least he won't die from starvation. He's risking it to fight hunger.

He can feel the warmth in his surroundings, even though his food is already cold. He looks around. It's nighttime, but he can't believe he's in the hotlands once again. Kobe wants to throw a tantrum in frustration, but he found food here. He doesn't remember seeing food on a grill like this before.

As he thinks of what to do next, it takes him a lot of time to realize that somebody might have owned the food he just ate, and now he's grateful that it wasn't a trap for him. It's actual food left unattended. Someone might come back for it. He can hide and wait for its owner even though he knows it's not the safest thing to do. He needs more food, and he'll do anything to get more. It's not the best strategy, but this might get him somewhere he needs to be in.

Although there's a feeling of safety with where he is, Rufus is also starving. Safety is nothing if he's gonna die of starvation. He won't allow that to happen, however.

Rufus crawls as stealthily as he can. As he peeks at a corner, he can faintly see someone surrounded with bags. It seems like the placement of the bags are so strategic. He looks at the tribute's face again, and now he recognizes it belonging to the guy from Nine.

Rufus can kill Dorian, the guy from Nine. He trained to be here. Dorian didn't. He is big though. Well, much bigger! Also, Rufus has an injury. He's not fit to fight right now. After the injury on his left arm, times two, Rufus lost the adrenaline to kill. He's not feeling as pumped as before to strike an attack, but he wants to win the Hunger Games, so he's gonna have to kill too eventually. He already did, and he's honestly shocked no one sent him anything after going on a killing spree. He was expecting food at the very least, but nope. He'll have to earn it like how he earned his kills in the past few days.

After several minutes of constant deliberation with himself, he decided it's not worth fighting the guy from Nine. Rufus was not expecting to be a coward, but here he is backing away from the big guy, who didn't train like Rufus did, but got a score higher than what Rufus got. It sucks for Rufus to feel like a weakling, a coward, a loser, but he knows that this is the best move for him. Dorian will get the last of him if he doesn't back off.

"We're finally at the top twelve!" says Alistair.

"It's been like that since a few hours ago, actually," says Cassine.

"Eh, I just woke up." Alistair checks on the tributes' whereabouts, but then he remembers the stunt people, or guardians.

Alistair and Cassine first check on Titan. He's playing a video game with Chip. They're not the only ones playing games, however. Lucius has started playing strip poker with Ciara and Arlenna. Ciara takes off her jacket as she loses a round.

"Nope. Nope. Nope." Cassine looks away.

"Nope indeed." Alistair checks on the other two guardians instead.

Eltha is a button cover away from activating Wave Two. She hasn't surely decided on doing so yet, thus the button cover still in place. She's watching from a monitor screen that Brenna is at the edge of a lake but also at the edge of the forest. She then looks to another screen.

"There you are. This is how you repay me after I feed you. I got Eel-C to rescue you after I accidentally killed your ally," Eltha monologues. "Good thing you're drying yourself in the forest. Good luck."

On Halizeia's side, she still has Ingeo in her mansion. She closed her curtains at the library tonight, so Filly wouldn't see anything inside through that window. Instead, she's watching over him through her control room. She's considering letting him in as she brushes her sleeping cat's fur, but Ingeo's already inside. She still hasn't made a decision, and she has until her next wave to do so. Cassine told Alistair that Halizeia mentioned over dinner about activating Wave Two. Alistair gives a thumb up in response.

They now check over Filly, who's in Sector Four but outside Mudland Mansion. He's resting near the mansion, cuddling to his stuffed doggy. Filly, however, is not the only one outside the building but inside a sector. Two trained tributes are in a similar position in Sector Two. Kobe also has a situation just like so in Sector Three. He's waiting for something or someone near the giant grill.

Rufus decided to find food elsewhere as Dorian finishes his last can of soda, remaining alert with his surroundings.

Argentum is in the mountain just like Rufus and Dorian, but he's on a higher level. He looks like a lost kid in a field trip.

Then there's Lainey, who's almost on her way down and out. She doesn't really know where she's going, but she finds an exit. To her surprise, she's back in Sector Three, and she makes her way to the prison she found a few days ago.

Alistair and Cassine can see Kobe reacting from the distance as he sees Lainey pass by from afar. They can tell from his body language that he wants to follow Lainey, but he doesn't. Instead, he sits back and fidgets on his jacket's zipper.

After checking in with everyone else, Cassine clocks out of work and Alistair goes out to play a card game with his friends. Cards of mortality or not, Alistair thinks it's safe to go out tonight and play card games with friends.

AN:

This took longer than I anticipated. While my city is on lockdown due to the pandemic and I should have even more time to write, my family likes talking to me or playing with me. That gets me very distracted from writing, more than how I get distracted usually. Because of this, I'm planning to update the week after next instead.

We're in the top 12 after over 3 years! XD There was so much happening this chapter, and we have much more happening in the upcoming chapters. I still have epic deaths and plans I've thought of from 2 or so years ago. Watch out for those! ;)

Who do you think died among Horden and Annaleigh? Also, I posted a poll some time before releasing this chapter and after the previous chapter. It has tributes' names from the top 13. Go check it out! :D

Hope you enjoyed the chapter! :)
