So… waking up in a world that you only thought fictional would be rather startling to those without any foreknowledge. Waking up in a world that you only really have limited knowledge of is even worse, especially when you know that there are people out there who would turn you into an experiment if they found out.

Finding out that you are somehow in the place of the main character of that same world is even more jarring, and slightly horrifying as well. Knowing that said character has to potentially fight beings so far beyond human and potentially their future self is even worse.

Taking one look in the mirror that was conveniently placed upon the ceiling of the room for some reason and I couldn't help but stare at my nine-year old self.

A few minutes later I was out of bed and dressed, all while looking up absently at the damn ceiling and trying to figure out what the hell was going on. Oh there appears to be a note on one corner of the mirror and I could just barely make out the fancy writing on it.

Have fun, Zelretch (;D

I have never once hated a winking happy face that someone else has written than in this moment. Thankfully I'm still a boy but with that messed up mind there's no telling how much longer that will last… oh shit.

Absently I let my mind wander on autopilot while attempting to figure out what I was going to tell my father, only to halt upon finding that my currently adopted father is none-other than Kiritsugu Emyia, the Magus Killer. Looking back up at the mirror I take in my appearance once more, alright I apparently have my sun-kissed blonde hair that looks almost white in appearance and a pair of hazel eyes. Note 1,

Okay, it looks like I have some sort of fusion between my own body and Shirou's and memories say that this is normal so I'm alright on this part. As for acting… apparently Zelretch is nice enough to leave me with enough distinctions between my old self and this new younger body so I should be safe for the time being.

Shaking whatever thoughts I have off I head out the door and on memory alone head towards the kitchen to get started with cooking. Ah, and there's Kiritsugu absentmindedly drinking a warm cup of coffee that was prepared last night and reading the newspaper.

It appears that he's still semi-asleep for he simply replied with a grunt to my enthusiastic good morning, nope stop thinking like this and let nature run its course idiot. Soon enough I was getting started with a small smile on my lips as I got around to creating another customary masterpiece, looks like I still got it.

Letting out a sigh the boy known as Shirou continued to sweep the floor of his workshop while wondering when his father is going to get home. Around him were various a few broken piles of mechanical items and a few books either depicting things such as metallurgy or human anatomy.

Other various items that seemed out of place in the workshop included a few pieces of paper containing various runes on them, a few pieces of rocks, various chemicals, a few gemstones of rather low quality, and a completely intact and functioning computer. This last one would actually raise a few eyebrows if any normal Magus actually bothered to step into the room, and affronted a few of the more traditional ones.

While confused at first Kiritsugu gleefully helped set it up and give it internet access upon hearing Shirou's reason for wanting to have one. He seemed to find it amusing that his son was using the thing not only as a mystic code but as a means of obtaining hard to access research material.

Apparently Shirou had managed to hide the fact that he had the memories of someone else in his head rather easily from his father. In fact by this point he had assimilated the personality to the point that nobody would notice his slip ups, or if they did they chalked it up to his current personality.

It was thanks to these memories that Shirou managed to avoid accidently turning his nerves into makeshift circuits, amongst other things. He even managed to recreate his own personal spells from the memories in a year's time, even going so far as to use several rather interesting ideas in an attempt to figure out if they were possible.

One of these things got his father rather upset upon finding out about it and he only managed to get out of trouble because he was studying human anatomy. Besides trying to increase his level of fitness faster via Altercation the man had a rather interesting face upon seeing him recreate a low quality Sapphire the first time.

At this point Shirou was quite certain that his father was relooking at some of the most basic spells in new light upon hearing some of his ideas. He was also quite sure that the man had even taken a few jewels, amongst other things, before leaving while smirking something fierce.

Shaking his head the blonde proceeded to set aside the broom and then sit down on the now clean floor in a meditative position. The 11 year old then proceeded to take a few steady breaths and started to go into a meditative state while using Structural Analysis on himself and activating his circuits one at a time.

This exercise was something he started a while ago in an attempt to not only study himself but also see how fast he could activate and deactivate his own circuits. It also dubbed as a good way of increasing his control, which meant he wasted less energy in his spells and making him just that much better.

As for how many Magical Circuits he had, it was probably due to Zelretch's meddling but instead of the regular 27 circuits with a capacity of 38 units of energy he had 29 circuits with a capacity of 32 units of energy. This meant that while the Average Shirou had a power of 1,026 this current version was actually weaker with a power of 928, though when one takes into account that the normal Shirou normally damaged his circuits to the point that they could barely manage 10 units he was actually on the stronger end of things. Note 2,

Add in improved control over his reserves and the fact that he might be able to improve the quality by two or three units and he wouldn't be an easy target any time soon. Now he only had to improve his actual reserves to the point that his potential Reality Marble wouldn't drain him to the point of being almost useless afterwards.

Another odd benefit he got from this practice was a deeper understanding of how said circuit was constructed, which he could use as a base to potentially create his own artificial Magic Crest. Now that was a piece of research that might make quite a few families angry at him, or earn him a potential Sealing Designation, he was still 50/50 on that thought. Note 3,

Moving on, Shirou slowly lost himself to the feeling of his Parana as he began slowly trying to smooth out the flow of his energy. It was actually a rather interesting process as he felt the rippling of energy change from a small turret to a simple stream as it jumped from circuit to circuit.

Over time he would change from simply activating one circuit to activating a combination of them in various orders. This would continue for a time until he felt the Bound Fields on his workshop softly chime to alert him of someone entering.

Thankfully the only other person who would enter was his own father and slowly he brought his own consciousness back from the calming pool of energy within his body. A few seconds later and he was opening his eyes to the sight of his tired father looking at him with amusement, and his hand hidden behind his back.

"Hey dad."

"Shirou, looks like you were quite deep in your meditation?"

The man watched as his son chuckled sheepishly and scratch the back of his head before shaking his head in amusement.

"Come on kid and let this old man give you a present."

Shirou stretched as he stood up feeling his spine start popping, how long was he sitting for, before finally looking at the man. Kiritsugu simply shook his head once more before bringing out what appeared to be a rather plain box that he placed into his adopted son's hands.

Said boy looked at it for a moment before muttering something and performing a very light scan of said object. The retired killer then watched approvingly as the blonde examined the rune-lined box before proving his progress with some runes by tracing a few of them to deactivate the few traps he had purposely placed on said box.

-|:-:|- Time Skip - Two Years -|:-:|-

A thirteen year old Shirou Emiya let out a tired sigh as they sat down in the chair inside of their own workshop and stared blankly at the screen of the computer. Quite a bit has changed from the time she was 11 and Kiritsugu was doing what he could to teach the child Magecraft with rune puzzle boxes and various games he created for this purpose.

At this point Shirou's hair was almost pure-white and tied back into a rather simple ponytail, one held together by a discrete rune-inscribed ribbon. Really, at this point the teen was surprised that neither Rin nor Sakura had realized that she was a Magus, then again the white haired magus was rather good at runes and a few Bound-Fields.

The one she was really proud of was a sort of cloaking field that hid ambient magic that they attached to an amber bracelet. Thanks to a liberal combination of Altercation and Structural Analysis she made runes small enough that they were invisible to the naked eye, sure the girl needed a high-powered magnifying glass to do it but the result was worth it.

Besides this the white-haired magus had begun to take an interesting turn in some of their own Magecraft, like using Altercation to heal others or themselves. It should also be known that Shirou cursed the name of Zelretch if only for dropping what appeared to be a half-built Kalido-Wand-Sword thing on them.

The Dead Apostle decided that it was in good amusement to drop the damn thing on top of the Magus when he was in the middle of a practice session. Unfortunately Shirou was using Altercation on himself at the time and when the sword collided with him it was gathering power from several female versions of himself.

Yeah, little to say the magus was a bit trigger happy for the next month and a half until she managed to turn the thing into scrap with her amused/exasperated father's help before his untimely passing. Downside was trying to hide the change from everyone until she could find a way to reverse it, thankfully she managed to make something that made everyone think nothing of it.

It was also a good thing that this change was made in middle school, and both Sakura and Rin were going to a different school at the time so nobody was any wiser to the change. To this day Shirou hasn't been able to figure out how to undo whatever happened, and the Bound-field was a bit too powerful resulting in Taiga ordering a female uniform.

The white-haired magus had a rather interesting time adjusting to the change all while cursing the Kaleidoscope in many interesting ways. Even more so when she discovered that the Dead Apostle had somehow managed to put several indestructible magical girl theme costumes in their closet.

Those were quickly taken and put into a trunk that sealed shut with several blood runes, rune inscribed chains, an even bigger trunk with the same precautions, and put into a sealed room with enough runes and Bound-Fields that hid the door from everyone. It also went unsaid the the remains of the Kalido-Wand-Sword was tossed into another trunk and put into said room.

Shaking her head Shirou looked back at her notes on artificial Magic Crests and a few unfinished prototypes. She then looked back at the uniform that Taiga got for her, and the note on how she expected the girl to look good for her first day of school.

She then looked at the clock nearby on the wall before shaking her head and proceeding to get up and stretch. Sakura would be showing up sometime in an hour or so and at this point Shirou was practically covered in grease, amongst other things, and really needed a shower. Note 4,

-|:-:|- Time Skip - Three Years -|:-:|-

Shirou let out a sigh as she leaned against the wall of her workshop and looked at the summoning circle that was nearby. At this point she was sure that Zelretch was once more messing with her because currently she was also looking at none-other than Arturia Pendragon, a moping Arturia at that.

The reason for this, the Saber class Servant she had somehow summoned was apparently one of the alternates of the rather reserved king. In this case the servant was something of an Otoku after Irisviel von Einzbern somehow got her hooked on it and was lamenting over the fact that her Master had nothing in that category.

Listening closely Shirou could make out some of what she was muttering, oh apparently the ancient King of Camelot was a Science Fantasy fan as well. That could turn out rather horribly if Saber somehow found out about the spare room where she kept the stuff that Zelretch had dumped on her.

It was at this point that the female Magus had the rather disturbing thought that the Dead Apostle probably planned something like this beforehand.

"Oh sweet mother of Root… if you would be willing to calm down I don't mind if you want to head out during the day and get some manga Saber, just don't go hog wild and we'll be fine."

That was apparently the right thing to say for Saber suddenly started beaming, talk about a bipolar servant.

"Thank you Master… now I think we have some strategy to discuss."

Wearily Shirou looked at her servant before letting out a sigh and gesturing for the blonde to follow. A few minutes later and the two were sitting at the kitchen table with a thing of tea and a few sandwiches that were disappearing at an alarming rate.

"Right, unfortunately I have some bad news that is going to make this one of the most messed up Grail Wars to date. The first of which is that Gilgamesh is still around and kicking, he has also teamed up with the current mediator of the church who was the master of Assassin in the last war."

"I should also mention that the grail is corrupt to the point that any wish upon it would result in the destruction of the world, and said mediator plans on unleashing it. Oh and thanks to a mediselm Apostle I seem to have future knowledge of how the war could turn out."

"If that wasn't enough for you we might also have to deal with a future Counter Guardian version of myself summoned under the Archer class attempting to kill me. There is also the fact that Zouken Matou found the remains of the last wars minor grail and implanted them into someone meaning we have two minor grails this time around."

Silence settled upon the two as Arturia stared at her current master before letting out a long sigh and shaking her head. To Shirou it appeared as if her servant was having an internal argument of some sort before finally speaking.

"That… I would say that you're joking but the grail has informed me of the being known as Zelretch and this seems like something he would do, is there anything else?"

The magus let out a quiet hum for a moment before smirking and proceeding to place a jeweled object down on the table, much to her servants' confusion.

"Well first of all, I have the ability to copy and identify the weapons of any servants I see, something that the Counter Guardian of myself would also have. Unlike him however I have looked into ways of blocking this ability and if you are willing we can potentially throw them off by disguising yourself as another Servant."

"This item here however is my own attempts of creating an artificial Magic Crest, which when worn by the user gives them at most 10 extra circuits of at most E rank quality. Using this I can increase my own output thus supplying you with just that much more energy in a fight, the effect is also stackable to a certain amount but has diminishing returns."

"I also have been using Altercation to increase my physical fitness to levels that, when combined with Reinforcement, can make it seem like I'm a Servant if need be though it would be a rather low tier one mind you. Besides that… I also might have a Reality Marble of some sort revolving around the creation of infinet swords, of which I've been using to create my own blades instead of copying."

"At this point I should mention that if I were to copy a blade I can also copy the fighting style of whomever owned it. As for what I can copy, any weapon with a blade such as arrows, swords, spears, and axes, I can also copy bows, shields, chain weapons, and armor but they each take up more energy than others."

"Other than that my father taught me the basics on how to create Bound Fields, I can also help heal others using Altercation, I have a few jewels of various quality filled with energy in my workshop, and I'm rather decent with Runes. We also have at most two weeks before the war actually starts, meaning that we can not only scout out the surrounding area but also come up with plans for the various Servants that can be summoned."

Finally Shirou took a deep breath as she mentally went about cataloging what she knew and leaving a slightly bewildered Saber Servant staring at her. Said servant then twitched for a moment as she remembered another master before shaking it off and actually smirking.

The white haired magus seemed to catch this and trailed off in her thoughts of how different this Saber is from the regular Nasurverse version. For some inane reason that smirk made her think that maybe Arturia had spent a little too much time around Merlin and picked up his pranking habits or something.

"Really now… back in Camelot I used to put on an emotionless mask and pretended to be the perfect king until things took a turn for the worse. In truth moments before my own death I thought back to my own life and decided that if I'm ever going to get a second chance I would try to be a normal girl, or as normal as I can get."

The magus looked warily at her servant as the blonde girl proceeded to actually get up and walk around the table, looking at her in a calculating gaze. Just before she could get up however Saber had managed to cross the distance and put a hand on her shoulder, forcing her in place.

"Now if what you say is true about getting me some manga is true and the amount of time we have before the Grail War is to start then I have some ideas. First of all I want to see if what you are saying is true and spar with you, if you can really pull off feats on par with a low tier Servant then this opens up several new avenues that I'm interested in." Note 5,

Alright Shirou couldn't help but twitch as a foreboding chill went down her spine, oh she did not like that look in Sabers eyes. Knowing her luck Arturia would probably notice the sealed room and that would no doubt prove a disaster later on.

-|:-:|- Time Skip - Next Day -|:-:|-

The next day Shirou couldn't help but let out a low moan of pain as she collapsed onto her couch after school. At this point she was just happy to be able to move at all after the spartan training session with Arturia the day before.

Said training session only got worse after the Saber Servant actually noticed how fast she was healing and quickly figured out where her famous sheath went before pushed the training even higher in response. On a more positive note the magus had quickly picked up on this change in attitude and managed to impress the ancient king enough and was quickly ranked as a low quality mid-tear servant.

Thankfully her few friends and peres at school didn't notice anything that drastic, and she could play off part of her weariness and fatigue from staying up quite late the night before.

Now here she was resting on her couch and wearily looking at the rather large amount of manga and Anime that was placed on her coffee table. There also appeared to be several sheets of paper scattered around the room and a laptop was discarded on a nearby chair as well.

Leaning slightly to the side Shirou noticed that there was a pencil nearby, it seemed like Saber had been brainstorming a few ideas recently. A few seconds later she was leafing through a few pieces and taking note of the rather feminine outfits that were drawn on them, most of which seemed like a combination of SyFy, knights in armor, and magical girls.

Most of these drawings were rather childish but still rather distinctive enough to make out the general shape of what the creator wanted. Shoulder pauldrons, a pair of fingerless gauntlets with cloth that went up past the elbows held taut with some sort of metal ring, a viser of sort that went and covered the ears, a pair of boots that went up that went up to one's knees, and the main body seemed to be some sort of one piece swimsuit for the central piece.

The whole suit itself also had quite a few jewels put into the thing for some reason and looked like something out of a high-tech knight from a fantasy girl show, heck there was even a few swords of various makes in a few drawings. It was these swords that Shirou focused on for a few moments and contemplating on how they could be made distracted her from noticing Arturia approaching.

Before the magus could contemplate anything she felt a pair of firm hands suddenly clamp down on her shoulders at the same time a rather onimus chill ran down her spine. She then slowly turned her head to face the rather terrifying look of Sabers smirk and something suddenly clicked in her mind.

"You found the sealed room."

Despite being more of a statement the Servant nodded, still smirking in a manner that would make both Merlin and Zelretch rather giddy in anticipation, before speaking in a silky smooth voice that promised nothing but trouble.

"Indeed my master, and I must say it was a most satisfying find indeed. Now come my future Saber Servant and let this new master outfit you with a proper uniform for a Servant from the future."

Shirou couldn't help but gulp in fear as she got the rather disturbing feeling that this Grail war was no doubt going to be even more messed up than any other before it. Said fear then turned to dread upon noticing that Arturia had remains of the Kalido-Wand-Sword and the soft blue glow it was giving off, which was slowly forming what appeared to be a set of blue command seals on said Servant's hand. Note 6,

Note 1: Back when I was like 2-3 years old my actual hair color was like this, blonde but on the border of white, it has since gotten darker to the point that some people think I have brown hair, in reality I have brown-blonde hair.

Note 2: According to a thing I found on aminoapps by a person named Mythmaker258 an alternate universe Shirou has B rank Magic Circuits, which according to the Typemoon wiki is equal to 40 units. Now I couldn't actually find anything that listed Shirou's actual quality so I used this as a base but lowered it by two units but in the regular universe he used his nerves which damaged his regular circuits to the point he was lucky to be able to use 10 units of energy.

That almost makes everyone else in the Fate universe rather terrifying itself when you think of it, and that's without the bonus that Magic Crests would add to people. As for my own SI, I lowered him to the point he had at least C Rank quality, and since he didn't mess up on activating them they make him a credible threat this time around.

Note 3: Seriously, I'm a bit surprised that nobody in the Nasuverse has thought about trying to create an artificial Magic Crest at some point. I can also say I'm a bit surprised that I haven't run into anyone doing such a thing in Fanfiction either.

While the Kalido-Sticks seem to come close, along with Zelretch's Jeweled Sword, nobody seems to be looking into ways of artificially increasing one's output of energy. This seems like a glaring weakness that anyone can take advantage of to create chaos in the Nasuverse, like a certain Dead Apostle for a laugh at everyone else's expense.

Note 4: I'm taking several liberties here and making it so that my Shirou SI-entity only met Sakura after their change in gender via Zelretch induced chaos. Said girl at first thought that the now female Shirou was a boy and developed a crush, only for it to turn awkward momentarily upon finding out that she was crushing upon what appears to be a tomgirl.

Little to say she was rather mortified when Taiga revealed this, nowadays she simply sees Shirou as a replacement sister figure for Rin. She also finds it rather funny to join in on Taiga's teasing on the tomgirls hidden taste for cosplay, unaware of Zelretch's influence in this instant.

Note 5: Fanfiction is great at times, especially when one takes the liberty of removing certain personality traits from their characters such as Arturia. In this version I have it so that Saber has apparently taken some time to think during the fourth war on her wish after Isikander talked with her.

Due to this, and an irritated Kiritsugu using a command seal on her to listen to his wife, Saber has mostly gotten over her problems with her rule. Unfortunately the Magus Killer wasn't quite aware of the fact that his wife had recently gotten hooked onto manga and anime at the time by the likes of Naruto, Bleach, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Captor Sakura, and Fullmetal Alchemist.

It was also around this time Irisavil discovered things like Star Wars and such and proceeded to drag Saber into that madness resulting in this current Arturia before you. Now if she could make a wish it would be that she wasn't so closed during her time as a king and had taken the time to try and be a decent parent to Mordred, or quite possibly living some in some sort of weird Anime, Star Wars, Camelot fusion of sorts…

I blame this mess entirely on Zelretch

Note 6: Yeah, Saber's mind might have snapped during the last grail war which will result in a messed up Grail War that will leave Counter Guardian EMYIA wanting to get wasted at a later date. For now he has to deal with the thought of a Master-Servant pair actually trolling the current war in a manner that would leave Zelretch proud.

What's even worse in Shirou's mind is that she has to deal with a lesbian Saber who has what I call Reverse Command Seals, ones that the servant can use to give unbreakable commands to their masters. Thus we have one of the most messed up Grail Wars to date with an unwilling master being forced to pretend to be a Saber class Servant from the very far and distant future, unable to tell anyone about it.

Miota: Whelp... this is an actual first for me.

Shirou: Wha... what's going on here? Where am I and who are you?

Miota: Right... read and review people I have a Shirou to sort out and brainwash!

Shirou: Wait... stop... get away from me you psycho! (Runs away screaming)

Miota: They always try to run, pitty... (chances after Shirou with a flaming chainsaw dripping with acid while riding a Xenomorph)

Dani: That happened... oh yeah it's me Danny Phantom's only stable clone/sister. I do believe that I have some flashcards that crai22 has given me somewhere.

Danny: Top pocket left side of your jacket.

Dani: AHA! Thanks bro, now lets see... (mumble, mumble) Right, crai22 says that this was supposed to be an SI into the Nasuverse before a certain fang faced pain interviended.

Apparently he was suppose to be an OC with Magus blood that Kiritsugu noticed who wasn't aware of his own active circuits and the former Magus Killer intervened before the kid could get himself or others killed by exposing magic to others. Unfortunately fang face intervene and inserted him into the mind of Shirou who somehow managed to subconsciously beat and absorbed him into their young impressionable mind.

Danny: As for Saber... Zelretch has apparently been planning this for a while and wanted to get another Shirou who was about to die in this situation but decided not to when he noticed our mutual crazy crai22.

Dani: HAY! I'm the one suppose to(abruptly cut off)

Danny: Now if you excuse me I have to take my younger sister back home due to the fact she basically skipped out on garbage duty today, Later everyone!
