Hey there guys and girls and everyone who reads my story. Time to continue the Yamcha vs Cell fight, along with some several scenes that would probably shorten the fight itself, bringing it to a part 3. Anyway, let's start the chapter, shall we?
Chapter 60: Enter Perfect Cell! Yamcha vs Cell Part 2
Artificial Human Saga Part 2: The Rise of Cell- Part 14
[Musical Cue #1: Opening- Chase by batta (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable OP 2)]
[Musical Cue #2: Ending- Monster by Skillet]
Trunks had finally reached to the palace of the guardian of the planet, after spending an entire day within Capsule Corp. with his mom and older sister, who was younger than him which made things all the more weird for him. He talked to his mom while touring the place he called home, seeing it in his prime and it felt like a different world, a brighter world. He stayed there the night and slept better than he did in years.
When Yamcha arrived with silver hair, beard, mustache and red eyes, he filled Trunks about everything. About the time chamber, about Cell absorbing one of the cyborgs and all that the rest of the fighters did in order to do to try and stall the creature from absorbing the other one, which he heard from them, made Trunks focus again at what was at hand and the most important.
When he almost reached the lookout he felt the gigantic rise of ki from Cell, feeling the ki of every single Z-Fighter rising to unfathomable heights, causing the adolescent from the future to shudder with terror while also sweating buckets at the feeling of the monster's power. It greatly surpassed even Yamcha's stupendous power, and this made the swordsman realize that it was all over for them. Cell has reached perfection and he had failed another timeline.
He quickly landed on top of the palace of the guardian of Earth, seeing all of the planet's strongest defenders shaking in fear and frozen in their positions. He quickly ran towards his father, whom he saw kneeling with an expression of hopelessness on his face while he was sweating intensely at the sensation of the organic-mechanical android's massive power. "Father, everyone! What happened?!" he inquired in confused shouts in his own panicked state as he knelled next to his father, picking him up and having him lean on his own shoulder. "Why didn't Yamcha kill him quickly?! He clearly had the power!" the time traveler kept on questioning, completely perplexed over how these turn of events even happened.
Kami growled as he griped his cane tightly. "I believe he got drunk on his own power, boosting his confidence and desires to save the day himself." the eternally young guardian of the planet said in a tone of disappointment while grounding his teeth. "He deliberately kept the fight going long enough for Cell to become desperate and use Tien's best moves to get an opening to absorb the other cyborg." the eternally young guardian explained to the entire group and to the time traveling swordsman in particular, all the while his body shook and the grip on his cane tightened.
"That fucking idiot!" Tien snapped angrily as he knelled and slammed his fist against the tiled floor of Kami's Lookout several times, which was enough to smash several of them into dust. "I nearly got myself killed to kill Cell, to prove my worth as a warrior, as a defender of this planet and as a capable asset on par with the rest of them..." he started to rant as by the end of the first half of the sentence he pointed specifically at each of the four Super Saiyans, those being Trunks, Vegeta, Raditz and Bryco while veins throbbed on his forehead. "And he goes and makes my near sacrifice completely pointless!" he ranted furiously at the actions of his fellow human comrade as he returned to slam his fist against the tiled floor. "He wanted to be the hero that saves the day? Then he should have killed Cell immediately and celebrate afterwards! But noooo, he had to get drunk on the mere thought of this occurring and thus letting Cell reach his perfect form!" he kept on ranting while pounding both fists against the floor.
The lavender-haired warrior from the future, sweating and nervous himself, tried to come up with something to at least calm the three-eyes man down. "Well, maybe Yamcha can still turn this around? We can't just believe that hope is lost. If I believed that hope is lost, then I would have never traveled back in time to try and save the future. We can't give up! I know Goku can still make some sort of miracle! You'll see." he spoke as he tried to drill some optimism into this hopeless situation. "He'll come out of that time chamber Yamcha told me about with so much power that Cell will seem like nothing! Isn't he the hero of Earth after all?! He'll will not let Cell rampage and kill anyone and save the world once more!" he spoke with determination to believe what was actually coming out of his mouth, hoping that if he believed it, then it would come true.
Suddenly the young man was pushed back, causing him to fall down on the floor of the Lookout. He looked up to see his own father looking down on him with a disgusted look on his face as he snarled angrily. "You dare to call yourself my son? Do you have no Saiyan pride?!" he questioned the lavender-haired time traveler as his fear was finally being overwhelmed by unbridled anger at his son's speech. "What kind of idiot are you to believe that that...human weakling...that clown...that utter waste of air is even capable of winning against...that?!" he questioned angrily as his body was shaking again at the mere sense of Cell's ki. "No wonder you couldn't save your own future. You were born to a woman who thought brains are better than brawn, poisoning your Siayan instincts for years. Then you were taught by Kakarot's weak and cowardly son to cement your own worthless, castrated mindset! You are closer to being the son of that cowardly clown Raditz than a part of my royal bloodline!" the royal elite snapped and insulted the boy and his family and mentor angrily, finally getting under his son's skin and actually making the time traveler angry.
Trunks growled after a few seconds of shock after the insults that he just heard from his father. "Don't you dare insu-" he started to speak in anger as he wanted to stand up for his mother and master, but he was quickly cut off as he wasn't talking loud enough for his father to hear him.
"So yes, grovel and beg for that clown Kakarot to fix everything like these pathetic cheerleader squad of his, trying to sweep under that rug that you and your mother were the fuck ups that caused all of this in the first place!" the prince of all Saiyans kept on ranting, with this remark completely stopping Trunks from continuing what he wanted to say. "Yeah, that's right. Because of a time machine an alternate you made, Cell got back in time before you did! That means that bastard is all your fault! Your fault for being so weak that you couldn't prevent your own death and letting Cell travel in time!" he explained as he continued to rant at his son from the future. "Just to show that utting the faith of the Saiyan race in Kakarot's brat and your own hands will just cause our race's extinction. So thank you very much for making everything worse, you fucking failure!" the prince finished with a final insult as he himself shook and tears started to appear in his eyes.
Trunks was so stunned and hurt by this that he couldn't really say anything in his own defense, not anymore. His father was right, it really was all his fault that Cell managed to reach his perfect form.
On the shattered islands, Yamcha shook in his place as he looked at the perfect being in terror, realizing how much he had fucked up. He took a step backwards as he sweated buckets at the sensation of the powerful ki that surrounded the humanoid monster that was looking at him with a smug smirk on his face.
Cell's grin turned wider from his adversary's reaction. Yes, this amount of fear is what I want to see in your eyes when you die." he spoke with a soft voice that made him far scarier and more intimidation from when he was swearing like a sailor in his Semi-Perfect Form. "But I know that you held back massively against me before. So in order for me to enjoy killing you, I will let you have one free shot on my perfectly toned, muscular, beautifully colored and protected perfect body of mine and I want you to throw your strongest attack one me at. Full. Power. Just to show my perfect superiority over all life forms." he spoke with confidence as he made the human raise an eyebrow at this offer with confusion. "And I mean literally full power. Not half as hard, not some arbitrary percentage. I want you. To hit me. As. Hard. As. You. Can." he explained with complete clarity over what he wanted his opponent to do, not missing a single beat to make sure that what he meant was completely understood.
Yamcha stood up, trying to regain some composure so that he could continue the fight, so that he wouldn't cower and lose all hope like he usually would. "Everything I got?" he asked with a raised eyebrow and uncertainty in his voice as he took steadier breaths, to which his monstrous, yet handsome opponent merely nodded his head as an answer.
"Exactly. Take as long as you need. I can be here all day if I have to. You don't have that long, probably, so I suggest you get to it then." Cell spoke with a regal tone to his voice as he put both hands on his waist, casually waiting for the Super Human to throw his biggest and strongest attack at him.
The Full-Powered Burst Limit user stood up straight as he closed his hands into fists and closed his eyes, taking deep breaths as he allowed the darkness to fill his mind. It took only a few seconds for him, but he his imagination quickly went to work. He took an image out of his memory of Bulma working in her workshop when they were still dating, around the time their daughter was born. 'Bulma, despite how things went between us and who you decided to...spend your nights with and have the baby of,' he thought to himself as he remembered the fact that his friend and ex had a child from Vegeta of all people, which was always upsetting to him, seeing as the prince never cared about anyone but himself. 'I still wish that you would be happy with your life. And thank you for everything.' he thought to himself as he mentally thanked his first and only girlfriend in his life, before the image disappeared into darkness.
Then a new picture replaced that, one of his lavender-haired daughter as a young girl running after butterflies on a grass hill, a memory that he had from before that faithful day in which Raditz showed up on Earth and changed the scale of everything he ever had to deal with. 'Bra, I want you to live a long and prosperous life in whatever profession you want. I want you to be happy and keep living the way that will truly make you happy.' he thought to himself as he saw that memory playing in his head while taking deep breathes into his lungs and stomach, with the memory shifting to a different memory, one of him training her at ki control by playing ball with a ki sphere. 'If you want to be a fighter like me, I'll train you as hard as you wish. If you wish to never get into a fight, I'll support you. But I will make sure that you will live long. I won't let Cell win here! Even if I have to die again and to make it so!' he thought to himself with more determination filling his entire mind as the memory disappeared into blackness and he opened his eyes.
With his eyes sharp and determined, his silver-red aura ignited against him. "AHHHH!" he screamed at the top of his lungs as winds were pushed away from his frame with tremendous force while the ground beneath him, which was what little that was left of his part of the island that was still standing to crack underneath his feet and cause the planet to shake with incredible force and his ki skyrocketed to amazing heights as well, much to the surprise and thrill of his adversary, who grinned like a maniac sensing the rising power.
"This is my power Cell! Burst Limit...FULL POWER! 100%" he roared as a wall of silver ki spread from in all directions, vaporizing a bit of the sea water around him and beneath, while also atomizing the entire ground beneath his feet and the winds formed into mini hurricanes around the entire battlefield, which surprised the creation of Dr. Gero and Dr. Wheelo as well as boiling his blood, caused by his Saiyan DNA's craving for battle against strong opponents.
It took only a few seconds after the waves of ki erupted from the Z-Fighter for the shaking of the entire planet stopped while the hurricanes continued to rage as black clouds completely covered the skies, filling the battlefield with lightning bolts as well. Then the light died down, revealing the former desert bandit surrounded by his aura and looking completely serious. "No more games Cell. This time I'm coming at you for real." he said as his hair, mustache and heavy beard all flapped in the harsh winds caused by the natural disastrous weather, his tone fierce and aggressive, filled with determination to win.
[Musical Cue #1: Opening- Chase by batta]
The two warriors stood in front of one another, staring down at one another and preparing to clash. A clash that would shake the entire planet to its very core. The silver-haired human knew that he had one free shot, and he wasn't going to let his foe retaliate afterwards. He wasn't quite sure that he could kill him in one bit attack, but he knew that he had to keep an offensive that would let him keep the advantage in the fight. He then prepared himself as he got into the fighting stance of the Turtle School of Martial Arts, the same pose Goku always took before charging into a battle.
Then he vanished using the afterimage technique, closing the distance between his foe and himself so fast the it actually surprised the amalgamated creature and caught him off guard. Yamcha extended his arm and hand to the point that his hand was one inch away from the left breast plate of the bug-man. A second later and he extended his fist forward with a ki-infused one inch punch that slammed right into the chest of the amalgamated creature, right where a human would have his heart pumping blood to the body's veins.
A torrent of concentrated air erupted from the back of the creation of the two mad scientists, winding him and doubling him over as he felt an enormous pain in his chest. "GAH!" a short scream of pain escaped his throat as his upper body started to fall forward as saliva flew out of his mouth, but he stopped himself from falling completely forward. His mind was rattling from the blow, remembering the enormous pain that the punch had, feeling his armored exoskeleton being compressed and cracking under the punch's power.
He didn't have a second to think, as a literal second after he was hit by the one inch punch, his human opponent then slammed a thunderous elbow strike into his right temple, causing him to stagger to the left as he closed his eyes in pain as his skull was shaking from the power of the strike, with a small chunk of his spiky crown breaking as well on the right side, while his right ear rang with the "BRIIISH!" sound of the elbow's impact against his temple.
"Hya!" the martial artist continued his assault as he span in his spot and launched an Earth-shattering, counter clockwise roundhouse kick into the left temple of his foe, which echoed with a loud "POW!" sound as it made contact with the left temple of the staggering abomination of nature, sending him flying so fast that he broke the sound barrier within a nanosecond of the impact.
Cell was flying at rapid speed over the sea as he was still staggered from the three attacks, flying right into one of the hurricanes, which exploded and dispersed from the sentient being that was sent flying through it. A few seconds afterwards the blue skinned bug-man managed to recover and regain his balance, panting as he rubbed his temples in displeasure. He then felt a warm feeling at his left temple, so he brought his left hand in front of his face and saw that it was covered in purple blood. 'Oh my me, he is stronger than I expected.' he started thinking to himself in displeasure, but he also felt his blood boil from excitement over this.
Then suddenly, with another afterimage, Yamcha appeared right in front of him, much to his shock, and slammed a skull-shattering uppercut to the monster's jawline, sending him flying up into the dark skies, where he was hit with several bolts of lightning in a row, which honestly did nothing to him but causing him more annoyance. He quickly regained his balance once more and released a loud shout as he also ignited his golden aura around his frame, releasing a powerful shockwave that blasted apart the entire heavy layer of black clouds around him, revealing the light once more, basking in it.
"Ah, that's better. Let this planet's life acknowledge me as its ruler, greatest creation and destroyer. I am just loving this warm feeling against my exoskeleton." he spoke with a smug and smarmy tone to his voice as he spread his arms wide with his golden aura flaring around him.
The silver-haired human charged at the bug-man, cocking back his fist as he prepared to land it straight into the face of his foe. He flew towards him, clad in silver-red aura as silver ki surrounded his fist. "You're in the middle of a fight, so don't blame me for hitting you when your guard is down!" he said as he finally reached his foe and unleashed his powerful punch at its full might.
However, the punch went straight through the frame of the ultimate life form, as he immediately evaporated and disappeared, as this was only an afterimage formed at the final second, much to Yamcha's shock. He then glanced to his left, where he saw his foe cocking back a fist of his own. "Oh I didn't let my guard down. You just did." he said with absolute confidence in his smooth voice as he slammed an uppercut into Yamcha's gut, making him gasp in pain as he spewed some saliva. While the blow didn't launch him upward, he was still stunned and staggered from it, which left him open for his foe to slam a double-ax hammer on top of his back, slamming him down towards the ocean.
As he looked at his human opponent falling down, Cell extended his left arm and fired several ki blasts to hit his opponent, all while a smug expression filled his human-looking face. "I hope you can do better than this, Yamcha. So far I'm not impressed." he mocked his opponent with that smirk growing wider on his face. 'That's a lie. The fact that he can even hurt me in my Perfect Form is concerning. I was to be stronger than this. Something is definitely isn't the same as before, but I can't put my finger on it.' he thought to himself his real opinion on the efforts of the human fighting him, though it was more concern with his Perfect Form more than anything else.
The former desert bandit quickly regained his balance and stopped his momentum, only to see the three ki blasts heading his way. He stood his ground, tensed his body and raised his arms as he entered his Wolf Style fighting stance. As the three energy blasts reached him, he swatted them all with ease, allowing them go into the ocean, where they created a large explosion underwater that raised an enormous amount of water into the air. He then charged a ball of ki the size of a basketball in his right hand.
"Sokidan!" he shouted as he launched his own signature attack at the amalgamated creature, who just smirked and moved his head as he allowed the attack to pass right by him. The amalgamated monster chuckled as he then saw that the Super Human moved his index and middle fingers towards himself, so the bug-man merely crouched as the large ball of energy passed right above his head.
"Really? This old technique? I have it in my repertoire. How can I not anticipated where you're going to-" the creation of Dr. Gero and Dr. Wheelo started to mock his foe and the technique that he used, until he saw that the Burst Limit user did something different: he did two lightning-quick movements that caused the ball to move so fast that Cell couldn't even see it. Then the yellow ball of ki slammed into his right cheek, staggering him with the enormous power behind it. "What the-" he started to question what had just happened, but the Sokidan then slammed into his back, sending him flying forward. He saw that then the large sphere flew forward above his head, then stopped right in front of him and flew straight into his chest, causing him to gasp for air as purple blood came out of his mouth.
"Expand." the scarred former bandit said seriously as the ball then grew double it's original size and pushed back the creature with even more force. "Split." he said with the exact same tone while moving his index and middle finger away from one another, causing the larger ball split into two Sokidan spheres at the same size and power and he himself raised his second hand with the same form of how he did with his other hand. "You really think I wouldn't improve my own signature attack? Who do you think worked with Bryco on his own Bio attacks?" he asked his adversary, who was shocked by the revelation of what the Super Human had just told him.
With rapid hand movements of the bearded human, the two spheres started to hammer into Cell at light speed, moving so fast that he could react as the two spheres hammered him at different spots in the body at once, then changing trajectory and hitting him at two other spots, constantly destroying any chance he had to regain his balance. If there was a time when he would managed to hit one of the sphere and send it flying away from him, the second one crashed into him at a vulnerable spot while the one that was slapped back hit him somewhere else in an instant after he was staggered from the first hit.
This whirlwind of hits continued for about two minutes, as Cell was getting more and more bruised from the hits. His exoskeleton was cracking all over the place and purple spots covered his face and many parts of his body, along with several strands of blood going down from both of his nostrils, from in-between his eyes and from his lips. He panted heavily and constantly groaned in pain from this the overwhelming sensation as he felt pain all over his body and he couldn't do anything against the two orbs that were constantly hitting him.
The Z-Fighter finally finished his combo as he slammed both Sokidan spheres into his foe and detonated them when they impacted against his body, creating two large yellow-colored and destructive explosions. From the explosions the numb frame of the ultimate life form towards him, the creature's limbs flapping in the wind as he groaned in pain with his eyes closed from that feeling.
"Wolf Fang Fist!" he shouted as he charged at the incoming amalgamated creature, slamming a first wolf palm into his right temple, using the blow's momentum to spin the creature to face him. From that point the silver-haired human started slamming more and more paw strikes into the face of his foe in a blitzing, hypersonic speed hits. First it was a dozen strikes, then another dozen. Another dozen, another dozen and another dozen. When the barrage reached into a hundred in number, the silver-haired man slammed both palms into his the amalgamated creature's chest, sending him flying back with indomitable force.
As the bug-man flew back quite a bit, the bearded human cupped his hands next to the right side of his waist. "Kamehameha!" he shouted as he extended his arms and launched a large azure-blue beam towards said foe. However, Cell quickly managed to regain control on his body, slowed down his momentum and flew in a down arch, letting the destructive beam to pass right by him, showing the bearded man.
Quickly reaching to his human foe, Cell grabbed the wrists of the Super Human with both of his hands and raised them above the silver-haired human's head, rendering them pointless in the upcoming bout. He quickly followed with a knee to the Super Human's stomach, but the Z-Fighter quickly raised a knee of his own, which blocked Cell's strike. Growling as his entire face was covered in his own purple blood, he headbutted the human in the center of his forehead, opening a wound there and staggering the currently strongest defender of the planet.
Cell then continued with a second headbutt into the head of his adversary and then a third. He smirked as he saw red, warm blood starting to flow down the face of the Mastered Burst Limit user and he then slammed a thunderous knee strike into the right kidney of his adversary, causing him to cry in pain as he spewed saliva. Another knee strike to the other kidney came and the human cried in agony once more. Cell then started to crash knee strikes into the human's kidneys one after another, and when he reached a dozen, he stopped the knee strikes and moved to headbutts once again.
At this point Yamcha could not do anything anymore. He was hit too hard and too many times to even be able to open his eyes and he his entire face was now covered with a mixture of his own blood flowing out and Cell's blood smeared all over his head from the headbutts. At this point Cell allowed one of his arms to let go of Yamcha's wrists and charged his fist with green ki. "Let's see how you like to be pummeled. Tuesday Barrage!" the creation of Dr. Gero and Dr. Wheelo shouted as he launched one of Raditz's techniques against Yamcha, crashing his fist into the human's chest and stomach so fast that the movements were even barely blurs. Each hit slammed into the human so hard that he spewed blood, as well as doubling over and feeling winded.
Quickly after starting the barrage of punches from one arm, Cell quickly added the other one as he allowed it to let go of the Z-Fighter's wrists, charged it with green and started using it to pummel said Z-Fighter's face and torso with the same speed, power and ferocity that he had at the beginning of his barrage. It was too quick for it to register in the mind of the protector of the planet as his body turned completely numb and his mind could feel or think of nothing else but the unimaginable pain that was coursing through his entire upper body.
It was merely 30 seconds, but Cell had managed to land 1,000 powerful and mighty blows upon the human. With a satisfied and wide grin on his face, he smashed a powerful double-ax hammer on top of the human's back, sending him crashing down into an island that had not been a part of their fight until now. The island, which had a small city housing over 10,000 people, had the body of the human defender of the planet hit right into the core of the city with a loud "BOOM!" noise that was followed by a gigantic explosion of green ki, which wiped the entire city and every soul that lived in it from the face of the planet, in a mere instance.
The light of the explosion colored the sky of the entire 5 kilometers with green light as Cell looked pleased with his work of beating the Z-Fighter down. "I can feel him down there. He isn't dead, but he is apparently severely injured from my barrage. Good, that will teach him to injure my perfect body." he said as his exoskeleton quickly healed all of the cracks that it had from the Double Sokidan assault from earlier in the fight. He quickly wiped off the blood from his face, all the bruises and injuries from before completely healed. He then felt a strange tingle in every cell in his body, causing him to flare his golden aura around him. He closed his eyes and mindfully listened to the new sensation that he was feeling. When he finally put his finger on what it actually was, his smirk grew till the point that it reached from ear to ear. "Huh, so that's how it works." he spoke loudly to himself with satisfaction in his tone.
Suddenly he didn't feel Yamcha's ki signal anymore, which was bizarre and worrisome to the ultimate life form. Knowing that it could be a trick from the Super Human to try to either escape or to throw him off and try to land a sneak attack. Not wanting to let it work, he quickly landed in the giant crater that had just been a city filled with life. When his feet touched the ground with a light "tap" sound, but he couldn't see past the heavy smoke that was created from the explosion from the attack he made.
"Okay Yamcha, do you want to play hide and seek?" Cell asked loudly, making sure his opponent could hear his words. "Fine. I'll just flatten this entire island!" he shouted with a bit of thrill and joy in his voice while his golden aura flared around him and his power started to rise slightly beyond what it was prior.
Suddenly there was a spike of ki as Yamcha appeared behind Cell and slammed a thunderous punch into his jaws, sending Cell skidding backwards, with blood coming out of the slashed lip of the amalgamated creature. Continuing with an assault, Yamcha dashed forward and slashed the right side of Cell's neck, drawing blood that splashed everywhere. Going on from there, the silver-haired human slammed a knee into the creature's face, breaking his nose and staggering him and walking backwards in pain.
"Grr..." the perfect being growled as he put his right hand over the gashes on the right side of his neck and fixed his nose, which now had purple blood flowing down from both nostrils. However, all he did then was grin. "Congratulation, you still have some fight in you. Bring it on." he said as he taunted the man to charge at him with all of his might.
The Burst Limit user looked worse for wear, as his left eye was closed and swollen and purple from the bruises he took to the face, along with all of the blood that had covered the entire pummeled face. His gi top was also completely torn off and his leggings were completely gone below the knees, with some slight tears above the knees as well. His entire upper body was bruised and bloodied from the barrage that he had just suffered from his bio-mechanical foe. He huffed heavily as he still entered his Wolf Style fighting stance, ready to go on.
However, instead of going forward and facing his foe in open combat, the silver-haired Z-Fighter jumped back into the thick cloud of smoke and dirt that had been covering the entire crater, much to the annoyance of the perfect being that he was fighting. The ultimate life form quickly raised his guard, only to barely block a powerful knee kick with his forearm, which shook the island with great force before the human disappeared into the cloud of smoke once again.
"Why you little...Face me like a real man!" Cell shouted as he crossed his arms in a "X" shape with an angry expression on his face. He then spread his arms to the sides and wide, realising powerful kiais that went like waves of wind through the smoke, dispersing it completely within a short few seconds. He then saw the figure of his foe in the air, causing him to smirk. However that smirk went away instantly when he realized that the figure of his silver-haired foe was frozen in an unmoving position, before it disappeared into thin in.
"Afterimage again?!" he asked with an exasparated tone to his voice, seemingly quite annoyed with the fight and tricks that were used by his human foe.
"Wolf Fang Bite!" he heard a shout behind him, causing him to start turning. However it was too late for him to properly dodge as two giant jaws ki jaws of a wolf were upon him. However he moved fast enough that the bit only managed to eat and cut off his entire right arm from the shoulder down.
Cell took a few steps back as he looked at his human adversary as he stopped his momentum and span slightly to face him once again."Grr...This is really getting on my nerves. I'll just show you my new max power!" he growled and grunted as he quickly regenerated his right arm. "AHH!" he shouted as he ignited his golden aura around his frame as his muscles bulged under his skin and exoskeleton and the entire planet shook, much to the surprise of the Z-Fighter.
It was a quick powerup, but the different ce was already noticeable from what it was several minutes ago when they started the fight. "Wha- what just..." Yamcha started to asked with a terrified expression on his face as he felt the full brunt of the massive ki signature. He was once more starting to lose confidence as he sweated buckets and his body shook.
"Happened? Great question. Allow me to answer." the bio-mechanical spoke with a smarmy and smug tone to his voice as he was absolutely thrilled over his newly regained over the battle. "You see, initially the power boost I got from absorbing Seventeen wasn't as big as I expected it to be, despite it being a stack bonus for absorbing both cyborgs, and it made me more comparable to your current max power." he explaned as he flexed the muscles of his right arm with a gigantic and smug grin on his face. "However the reason for that is because now I know that I need to get accustomed to the real power of my Perfect Form bit by bit. Basically I'm getting stronger as this fight goes on, until eventually I'll reach the peak of power in the universe, which is my full power obviously." the amalgamated creature gloated as he rubbed the knowledge that was new to him as well in his opponent's face.
The injured human realized that the boasting were not bluffs immediately, so in his shaken state of mind he jumped back, landing on the ground several dozen meters away from his previous spot while cupping his hands next to the right side of his waist. "Kamehame-" he started to chant the most famous attack of the Earth's defenders, but in an instant Cell closed the gap between the two, shocking the silver-haired human enough to make him stop the chanting of the attack, which was a half-second that Cell used to hammer a thunderous punch into the jaw of the silver-haired human, sending him flying backwards several kilometers before crashing somewhere on the island, creating a gigantic cloud of dust that rose to the sky, showing a sort of mark to where he landed.
The ultimate life form smirked at this showing of power over his opponent. After a few seconds of looking at the distance where he saw the cloud of smoke rising from, he looked down at his arm that punched the man so far. "Damn, maybe the difference did get that big that quickly. I should go and check that theory a bit more, just so I can see him in a bit more pain. Who knows, it might even be funny." he said to himself with a bemused tone to himself as he slowly ascended to the skies and slowly flew to the area where he launched his foe to.
On the other side of the island, in an area with lush wildlife, Yamcha crawled out of the crater that was formed when his body was slammed there from being lauched. His hair and beard returned to their black colors as his injuries finally stacked up to the point that he couldn't keep up his Mastered Burst Limit transformation. He huffed and puffed, panting heavily as he had several broken broken bones.
With grit and determination he slipped his left arm into his sash belt that held his pants, taking out a tube with some strange liquid in it. With his thumb he took off the lid and quickly drank all of the liquid very quickly before smashing the tube, in order not to leave any evidence of it for Cell to find, fearing of what he would do if he found out about it. 'Damn, I'm glad I went to Bulma to get a few cannisters of F. . Even if they aren't Senzu beans, they're still good as replacements until more beans grow.' he thought to himself as he got up, almost completely revitilized and with all of his injuries completely gone. He then quickly covered the broken glass with dirt using his foot.
He then looked up to see that his foe was now getting closer to his location, so his once again his hair and beard turned bright-silver and his eyes turned red as he clenched his hands into fists. 'Alright, so he made a pretty big gap between us in power, so I have to use my last two resorts.' he thought to himself with concern over what he was about to do in order to try and take out the creation of Dr. Gero and Doctor Wheelo out for good. He had no choice anymore.
He wiped the blood of his previous injuries from his face just as the ultimate life form landed right in front of him, his feet making a light "tap" sound, instead of the loud "THRAP!" sound that the feet of his Imperfect and Semi-Perfect form made. The ultimate life form kept his wide, smug smirk on his face as he crossed his arms in front of his chest with satisfaction. "You look like you've eaten a senzu, still having the power to fight." he said with a tad bit of annoyance in his voice, yet he still seemed pumped from this somehow.
The Z-Fighter nodded. "Yeah, I only had one senzu and I took it." he lied as he spoke with bravado and crossed his own arms in front of his chest. "But now I think it's time for me to kick things up a notch and use some of the aces up my non-existant sleeves. What do you say to that?" he asked with a bit of a manipulative tone to his voice, trying to convince his humanoid foe to allow him to use one of his last resorts to win the battle.
Cell raised an eyebrow to this, only for a few seconds afterwards to burst out loud into a laughing fit. "How smart of you, manipulating me to allow you to do something clever by nudging my Saiyan desire for a better fight. You and Goku do seem to think alike on several occasions." he complimented the human, despite seeing clearly through his attempt. "But what do I say? I say do it. Give me a better fight." Cell spoke with a deranged thrill for battle in his voice as his expression turned into that of a maniac, an addict.
Nodding, Yamcha kneeled down and put both hands on the grassy ground and started to take deep breaths. "I hope you can be patient, because it could take a while." he spoke as he closed his eyes and started taking deep breaths into his stomach as he mindfully focused on his ki sensing, expanding his range beyond anything he usually could. His ki felt the energy flowing in every strand of grass, in the air, in every bush and tree in the area he was in right now. He felt the overwhelming power as he started taking the life force and energy of every living living organism that wasn't him or Cell, letting it course through the ground and focus itself into his own body, mixing with his own ki.
However, he knew that this wasn't going to be enough for him to get the upper hand over the android, so he dug deeper and deeper into the planet itself. His mind went through the water, then the crust, then the layers upon layers of lava, until his mind finally reached the planet's core. He felt the unimaginable amount of Genki in the core, and he quickly started taking that energy, quickly and forcefully dragging it with his own energy towards him, until that same energy started to enter his body and mixed it with his own ki, drastically boosting.
Because of the amount of power he was draining and siphonning into his body, he felt how his body was becoming numb, as roots started to grow from his feet and hands, so he quickly and mindfully worked mentally and spiritually to balance all of that energy with his own ki reserves, until he finally managed to balance the two types of energy and a large vail of mint-green energy surrounded his frame. He then got up and ignited his silver-red aura around him, basking in the power boost granted to him.
The amalgamated humanoid looked completely lost at what was going on. "What the hell?" he asked with a perplexed tone, but the only answer he got was a thunderous punch to the stomach from the silver-haired Z-Fighter, which happened so quickly that the amalgamated being didn't even see his foe move. The punch was also so strong that it doubled over the creature and made him puke a large amount of purple blood.
Continuing with his assault, Yamcha slammed a powerful uppercut into Cell's jawline, sending him flying so hard that he flew out of the Earth's atmosphere while spewing a large amount of blood from his mouth.
Kami's Lookout,
The eldest son of Bardock, the noseless monk and the three-eyed Crane School disciple looked in shock from what they just sensed and their faces screamed disbelief. Trunks looked down in amazement over the new power that he was feeling from Yamcha and he had a gigantic smile plastered all over his face as he looked ready to celebrate the victory. Vegeta, Bryco and Archako were looking down in anger, confusion and aroused respectively. The Namekian warrior seemed a bit worried over this new power that he was sensing, while the Namekian sage was absolutely livid. The lookout's attendant merely facepalmed.
"What the fuck?! Where did all of that power come from?! This is utter bullshit!" the blue-spandex wearing Saiyan royalty swore furiously at the increasing power gap between himself and the human, not to mention Cell. He was completely hopeless and it made him more frustrated with himself and his power, and he was ready to throw the blame at anyone in the closest vicinity to him.
The other two human fighters simply looked into the distance with eyes-wide open and jaws slightly falling. "He actually did it. He actually decided to do it and risk his own life." the bald student of the Turtle School of Martial Arts said agast at the method that his former rival took to surpass the android. "He may be an idiot, but this is actually deserving of respect." he said with a warm tone to his voice as a smile formed on his face, showing support for his friend.
"The hell it is! That moron siphoned Genki from the planet's core into his own body, draining 100 years of the planet's life!" the eternally young guardian spoke with an outrage in his voice as he raised his arm in anger and ground his teeth at the deed.
The djinn merely groaned as the Saiyans who weren't Raditz looked at the guardian of Earth with confused expressions on their faces. "When they were training for you two," he started to speak as he pointed at the Saiyan prince and the red-spandex wearing Saiyan. "I taught the humans how to absorb the life energy around them from the air down to the life of the plants, then siphon it into their bodies and mix it with their own energy to gain a massive boost in power." he explained as gave them a short explanation of what he called "Natural Energy/Natural Ki". The three Saiyans nodded as they quickly understood that.
"However," he said as he raised his index finger up. "the risk is that if you didn't mix the enrgy right you would become one with the planet. For example, becoming a plant." the fat, pitch-black skinned djinn continued his explanation, making the female Saiyan cringe slightly from the thought of becoming a plant. "But in the last three years all three of them learned to do it somewhat well, but Yamcha might have hid how well he actually could use it." the attendant kept on explaning as he now started to talk to the entire group.
"And unlike the Genki Dama King Kai teaches, which takes that energy and focuses it in an outer source," Tien enterupted the explanation with a small addition of his own. "This method is what I call "Natural Energy". Basically it focuses ki from around the environment you and siphoning it into your own body and mixes it with your ki, making for a much greater power than what the Genki Dama could produce with the same amount of energy that Yamcha just siphoned into his own body." he explained to her as he crossed his arms in front of his chest and looked into the distance.
"So..." Archako started talking in an attempt to understand and summarize the explanation. "The scarred one gave himself a huge power boost by absorbing the energy of the planet's core?" she asked, to which she got a nod of affirmation from her short boyfriend/mate and from the Guardian of Earth, causing her to grin madly. "AWESOME! I wanna learn it so freaking bad now! This sounds so cool and hot that I have to learn how to do it!" she exclaimed with child-like thrill.
"Oh come on!" the tallest Saiyan with the short, spiky hair exclaimed with an annoyed tone. "There is a serious fight happening right now. Could you not think with your goddamn libido for once, you air-head, bubbly slut?!" he questioned her while also slut shaming her, just like a certain lavender-haired scientist did on several occasions.
This made the female Saiyan pout like a small child. "Hmph! I'm not a slut, I'm free spirited." she retorted as she suddenly did a complete 180 and turned to the attendant of the palance of god with a gigantic grin on her face that reached from one ear to the other, as she childishly hopped towards him. "Hey Blackie, can you teach me that Natural Ki please? Please, Blackie? Pretty please?" she asked him with a sweet voice several times, while the fat djinn merely looked completely emotionless. Then a purple bolt of magical lightning struck the woman, knocking her out.
Piccolo merely looked down at the human fighter, having the ability to see everything from the lookout. He clenched his hands into fists as he ground his teeth. 'Yamcha, this is your last chance to finish things off. If you don't, then I'll have to fuse with Kami and then we'll lose the dragon balls. I want to gain the power, but now that it might really come true, I become more scared of it than I ever have in the last few days. Please, defeat Cell so I wouldn't have to say goodbye to Gohan.' he thought to himself as a small tear formed in his left eyes and slowly started to flow down his cheeks.
Until it dropped and hit the ground.

[Musical Cue #2: Ending- Monster by Skillet]
With Yamcha running out of options, he had decided to take a major risk and gain a boost from Natural Energy. While it seemed to work, he must still face an even growing Cell, who becomes stronger as the fight goes on. Will the human manage to defeat the ultimate life form once and for all with his last boost of power? Find out on the next chapter of Changed Path...
And another chapter down and I'm still standing better than I ever did. Looking like a true survivor, feeling like a little kid.
Okay, jokes and Elton John songs aside, it took me quite a while to write this chapter and I do hope that you all enjoyed this chapter and the fighting in it. While I didn't want to make Cell look pathetic, I didn't want him to wash Yamcha. Also from when I conceived this battle several years ago, I had decided that the entire battle would be pretty even in terms of power, so I had both sides taking some heavy hits and barrages. Also Natural Ki/Natural Energy was introduced in chapter 6 (I believe? Don't remember. Maybe 5?) and wasn't well defined yet, though I did want to use it in the future when I wrote that chapter, so here it is back and with some more explanations and comparisons to the Genki Dama so that people won't be confused.
Also, yes, this idea did come from Naruto's Senjutsu, I just spliced it here into something more my style.
And in other news next chapter I do intend to show one scene that is not related to the fight itself: Gohan's ascension into Super Saiyan and hints of some of the more...nasty elements that will appear as he transforms into Super Saiyan 2. But in the meantime, it's time for...
R&A:
R: Excellent chapter, absolutely excellent. Yamcha embarrassing Cell was an awesome display of power and the fighting that occurred was impressive. Some of the dialogue was a bit out there for Dragon Ball (the virgin-chad comparison being the main one) but the spirit of the combat was there.
And the dynamic on the Lookout with everyone watching Yamcha of all people put up a fight, was just great. I have a soft spot for Yamcha, as if my stories didn't tell that, so seeing him facing off against Perfect Cell of all people is a real treat for me.
This was brilliant and I can't wait to see what happens next.
A: Yep, admit that I got too carried away with the dialogue last chapter, so I toned down the language with Perfect Cell and I will keep doing so with Cell until his mental breakdown against SSJ2 Gohan (and expect to see almost every swear word I know in that fight. He will go ballistic over Psycho Gohan's attitude). In the meantime the rest of the characters (i.e. Vegeta mostly) will pick up the slack.
And I really hope you liked the fight this chapter. It was mostly hand to hand, but it was rather short on action and had heavy dialogue scenes before and after. So I hope that what little there was in this fight this chapter was enough Yamcha vs Cell awesomeness pumped into your vains.
Anyway, that's all for now folks. See you all when I finish the next episode and until them have a great time and enjoy yourself. Bye bye.
