November 4th 2013

After saying goodbye to her Uncle, Fitz, Simmons, and Ward, all of whom seem to understand why she has to go even if they are going to miss her, Daisy and her mother have headed back to New York.

"Welcome home," Melinda tells her daughter as the elevator doors open and they both walk out where they find Tony, Bruce, Peter, and surprisingly, as neither Melinda or Daisy realised she was home, Bobbi waiting.

"Dad," Daisy says, dropping her bag and running towards her father who she hugs tightly once she is close enough, "I've missed you soo much," Daisy says as her mother hugs her siblings.

"I've missed you too Tiny Tony," Tony promises his daughter as he kisses his head.

"Hey Pete, Bobbi," Daisy says, breaking apart from her father to walk over to her siblings.

"Hey Daze," Bobbi says, as Peter just hugs his big sister, and as they are hugging Bobbi just hugs her younger siblings.

"I'm really glad you're home," Tony says, before kissing Melinda.

"I can't stay long," Melinda admits, once she and Tony break apart.

"How long?" Tony asks curious.

"Just the rest of the day," Melinda admits. "Bruce, nice to see you,"

"You too Melinda," Bruce responds.

"Hey Bruce," Daisy greats.

"Daisy, welcome home," Bruce says, with a kind smile.

"Thanks Bruce," Daisy says. "You better not have messed with my room," Daisy says, looking at her brother, as she picks up her bag.

"Please, I know better," Peter says, rolling his eyes at his big sister. "Race you," He says, and the two of them both go running upstairs, with Bobbi, who is looking amused right behind her.

"So, what happened?" Tony asks curious, as Melinda said she would explain in person, "I was expecting a fight to get Daisy to come home and instead she comes home willingly,"

"A member of our team, the young biochemist was infected by a Chitari virus," Melinda explains.

"How?" Tony asks the same time Bruce asks,

"What did the virus do?"

"The virus was spread by electrostatic shock, that's how Simmons got infected," Melinda explains. "People who were on the ground in New York after the battel found a Chitari helmet, they took it as a souvenir," Melinda explains. "Last week they though it had rust over it, so they cleaned it, getting infected," Melinda reveals. "We went to investigate because a body was floating in mid and that's when Simmons got infected," Melinda explains. "Jemma almost died, she jumped out of the plane to save all of us all from the electric pulse that she would release," Melinda explains, "Thankfully the anti-serum she created worked, though it was delayed, and Ward was able to give it to her," Melinda explains. "After everything that happened Daisy wanted to come home, and I'm not surprised,"

"Me either, that's a lot for a few days," Tony admits.

"Really is," Bruce confirms. "Do you have information about the virus?" Bruce asks curious. "It could be helpful to know more just in case," He says as he knows it would be naive to think no one would have took Chitari artefacts from New York.

"This is everything my team discovered," Melinda says, handing Bruce of a USB, having gotten the okay from Phil to pass this information over to Bruce and Tony.

"Thanks, I'm going to take a look at this," Bruce says, before heading downstairs, and as Bruce walks away Melinda walks to Tony and hugs him once more.

While their parents are downstairs Daisy, Bobbi, and Peter are up in Daisy's room, all three of them sitting on Daisy's bed together.

"So, did you get along with the team? What are they like?" Peter asks his sister curious.

"Pretty great," Daisy admits. "Fitz and Simmons are scientists, and awesome, and we became close," Daisy explains. "Ward's okay I guess, he's got some personality issues, but I think that's a defence mechanism, we were becoming closer," Daisy reveals.

"That's good," Bobbi says, being glad that her sister is getting along better with the members of her team.

"If things are good with the members of the team why did you leave?" Peter asks curious.

"I just couldn't stay…. Didn't want to," Daisy mutters to herself, looking down so that she isn't looking at either of her siblings, and as she can tell that her sister is upset Bobbi reaches out and takes her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze.

For the rest of the day the Stark-May family, along with Bruce, enjoy spending time together before Melinda had to leave to go back to the Bus.

It's rather late at night and Daisy is sitting in her room, on her computer, when she hears a knock on her door.

"Come in," Daisy says, and the door opens, and her father walks in. "J? Did you tattle on me? Come on man, I thought we were friends, I'm not hacking anything I shouldn't be,"

"I did not alert Mr Stark-May, Miss Daisy," JARVIS reveals.

"Don't worry Tiny Tony. You're not in any trouble," Tony assures his daughter, as he walks over and sits down across from her. "I thought we could talk,"

"Sure," Daisy says, closing her laptop of her lap and putting it on her bed next to her. "What do you want to talk about?"

"You, how you're doing," Tony tells his daughter.

"Okay. Glad to be home," Daisy admits. "I've got to go back to school, don't I?"

"Yep, I've got to talk to Mortia tough," Tony reveals.

"He's going to let me go back, isn't he?" Daisy asks, looking concerned, as if she has to go back to High School she would prefer going back to Midtown.

"Of course," Tony says, knowing that for sure as when he and Mortia talked about Daisy doing her work online for a while that was agreed to. "I'm just not sure when you'll be able to start,"

"Okay," Daisy says, with a grin, "Hey Dad, can we go see Aunt Peggy tomorrow?" Daisy asks curious, as she really wants to talk to Peggy right now.

"Yeah, I think we can do that," Tony assures Daisy.

"Great," Daisy says, looking glad.

"Do you want to talk about what's happened?" Tony asks his daughter curious.

"No, not really," Daisy admits.

"Daze…," Tony starts to say.

"Did I say not really I mean not at all," Daisy says, sounding short, and her father gives her a look. "Sorry, I just… really don't want to talk about it," she admits, as the truth is she feels ashamed for not being able to stick it out with the team.

"Okay," Tony says, knowing better than to push his daughter. "But if you do want to talk I'll be down in the lab for a while,"

"Okay," Daisy says, with a nod.

"I love you Tiny Toni, and I'm glad you're home," Tony says, standing up and kissing Daisy on the head and heading to the door of his daughter's room.

"Dad," Daisy says, before she can stop herself, causing him to turn around. "Are you disappointed in me?"

"Of course not," Tony says, turning to look at his daughter and walking back over to her. "Why would you think that?"

"I couldn't stick it out on the team," Daisy explains. "You, Mom, Bobbi, practically everyone in our family are heroes and I couldn't handle even being on a team," Daisy explains.

"Daisy I don't think any less of you, and neither does your Mom, or your sister, or anyone else," Tony assures herself. "If fact I'm proud. It takes a lot of courage to admit that you can't handle something, and that's what you did," Tony reveals, "So, I promise, I'm not disappointed," He reveals, "Okay?" he asks, and Daisy nods.

"Night Dad,"

"Night. Daze," Tony says, before leaving, actually leaving this time, and once her father leaves Daisy picks up her computer and goes back to what she was doing.

The next morning after breakfast Tony, Daisy, Bobbi, and Peter who has a day off school, have made their way to Washington DC so that they can visit with Peggy. When the four of them arrive at Peggy's room they find Sharon leaving.

"Shay," Tony greats.

"Hey Uncle Tony," Sharon says, as she gives her uncle a hug, "It's a good day," Sharon whispers to her Uncle as she hugs him.

"Good," Tony responds, looking relieved, as the two of them break apart.

"Hey Daze, Pete," Sharon says to her two younger cousins.

"You need to come to New York. You haven't been home in agers," Peter informs Sharon.

"I know. I'm going to try to do better," Sharon responds, knowing that is rather hard with the mission she is currently doing.

"Good. I've missed you," Daisy responds.

"I've missed you guys too," Sharon says, smiling at Daisy before walking over to Bobbi.

"How's your mission going?" Bobbi asks Sharon, knowing exactly what Sharon is doing.

"Complicated," Sharon admits, glancing over to Peggy, not wanting to explain more.

"Let's go get some coffee," Bobbi tells one of her best friends. "I'll be back, we're going for Coffee," She says, and she and Sharon leave.

"Hey Aunt Peg," Tony says, sitting down next to his godmother while Peter sits down on the to her side and Daisy sits down on the edge of the bed.

"Tony. How you doing?" Peggy asks her godson.

"I'm good," Tony says, smiling at his godmother.

"Peter, how's school?" Peggy asks curious, as she looks at him.

"Good. I'm top of my year," Peter says with a grin.

"Peter that's great! I'm so proud of you," Peggy says with a smile, "Daisy, how are you?"

"I'm fine Aunt Peg," Daisy says as she avoids looking at her aunt.

"No, you're not," Peggy says, being able to tell that, "What's wrong?"

"I've been on a shield team for the past few weeks," Daisy explains, "I left a couple of days ago, because I didn't want to stay, couldn't handle it," Daisy explains, once more avoiding looking at her aunt, "Are you disappointed in me?" she asks worried.

"Of course not, Daisy," Peggy says, reaching out and taking her hand, "I think you've shown real strength," Peggy reveals.

"Really?" Daisy asks, sounding surprised.

"Really," Peggy assures her, "Daisy sometimes admitting you can't do something takes more strength than anything else," Peggy reveals.

"You really think so?" Daisy asks, sounding surprised,

"I do. But there is a difference between you knowing, deep inside of yourself that you can't do it and someone else telling you," Peggy reveals, "So what you have to ask yourself is whether this is something you can't do, or do you just believe you can't because that's what someone, or fear, is telling you," Peggy reveals, giving Daisy a hell of a lot to think about.

While Daisy, Peter, and Tony are in with Peggy Bobbi and Sharon have gotten coffee and are walking the grounds of the nursing home.

"So, does Aunt Peg know about your mission?" Bobbi asks curious.

"No. I didn't want her to have to lie, not to him," Sharon explains. "It wouldn't have been fair to her,"

"I get that," Bobbi admits, "How are you handling everything?"

"I don't know…. I'm becoming an expert in compartmentalising," Sharon says, looking amused, "And making sure he never catches me here,"

"Peter's right, you need to come home for a little while," Bobbi tells her friend.

"I will when I can," Sharon admits, as the truth is that she misses her family and being with them, "What's with Daisy? I thought she was on a team with Aunt Melinda and Uncle Phil," Sharon comments.

"She was," Bobbi confirms, "But then a member of the team almost died and she wanted to come home,"

"Damn," Sharon says, "She's struggling," She assumes

"Yep," Bobbi confirms.

"People in our family know, better than most agents, what we're getting into when we start with SHIELD, but it can still be difficult," Sharon comments, "Do you think she's going to be okay?"

"I don't know," Bobbi admits, "I do know that the team was good for her, she finally found somewhere, besides with our family, that she felt like se belonged. So…," Bobbi starts to explain.

"You hope she decides to go back," Sharon realises.

"I don't want her to be in danger," Bobbi quickly says, "But I can't deny that Daisy with the team has been good for her, I can see the changes,"

"Are you going to talk to her? Try to get her to go back?" Sharon asks curious.

"No," Bobbi says, without even needing to think about it. "I'll support her, be there for her, but if she decides to go back it needs to be something she decides on her own,"

"Makes sense," Sharon admits, perfectly understanding why Bobbi would choose to do that, "Have you heard for Antoine?"

"Yeah, I saw him a couple of weeks ago. He seems okay," Bobbi reveals.

"Yeah…. I'm not sure he likes working with Garrett though," Sharon admits, as she briefly caught up with him, "That's not surprising though,"

"Really isn't," Bobbi admits, and the two friends drift into silence as they continue to walk together.

"How's Hunter?" Sharon asks, a few moments later.

"Wouldn't know; haven't seen him for a while. Daisy has though, ask her," Bobbi says, deciding not to mention that she has plans to meet up with him in like a week.

"Right," Sharon says, deciding not to question her friend again, and once more the two of them drift into silence as they walk together.

November 8th 2013

Ever since Daisy, Peter, Bobbi, and Tony went to visit with Peggy Daisy has been thinking about what her aunt said and while she hasn't come to a decision she has been given a lot to think about.

It's mid-morning on a Saturday and Tony, Daisy, Peter, and Bobbi are in the main living rooms of their floor at Avengers Tower watching movies together.

"Is that possible?" Peter asks curious.

"Nope," Bobbi answers, and as she does her phone starts to ring, "I'll be back," Bobbi reveals.

"J, pause the movie," Tony reveals, "You've got five minutes before I press play," Tony informs his daughter.

"Yes Dad," Bobbi says, before heading to her mother's office so that she can respond to the phone call.

For the next few minutes Daisy, Peter, and Tony wait together, waiting for Bobbi to come back and as soon as Bobbi walks back in Daisy, Peter, and Tony all recognise the look on her face.

"You've got a mission," Tony says, as he knows that look all too well.

"Yep. I've got to get to the Hub so Uncle Clint is flying here and going to land on the new landing pad," Bobbi reveals, as Clint is currently off a mission and so he is able to bring a plane.

"Make sure you say hello to your Mom before your briefing at the Hub," Tony tells his daughter, as Melinda and her team are at the Hub.

"Will do," Bobbi assures her father.

"Mom and the team are at the Hub?" Daisy asks, looking interested.

"Yeah," Tony confirms.

"I want to go…. And stay with the team," Daisy reveals.

"Daisy," Peter says, looking shocked.

"I want to do this. I think I need to," Daisy admits, then she turns to her father. "I know you won't like this Dad, Mom, either, but I'm asking you to let me go," Daisy admits. "I felt like I belonged with the team, but I got scared," Daisy admits, "I always knew that being a SHIELD agent is dangerous, but It was like I was a stepped removed, this time I wasn't and this scared me," Daisy admits, "I don't want to be scared anymore, Dad, I want to go back to the team, my team, and be an agent, be a hero like everyone in our family, please let me try to be like you," Daisy requests looking at her father, it being clear that this is something she really wants.

"That was a pretty great speech, it makes it pretty hard to say no," Tony admits.

"Then don't. Let me do this, Dad, let me become an agent," Daisy requests.

"I'll need to talk to your Mom," Tony reveals, "I'll be back," Tony says, before leaving so that he can call his wife.

"You want to leave again?" Peter asks, looking at his sister and looking upset.

"I need to do this Pete, I feel like it's what I'm supposed to do," Daisy admits, "But I'll call all the time, and we'll still be you and me against the world," Daisy reveals.

"Okay," Peter says, before hugging his sister, "I love you, Daze,"

"Love you too, Pete," Daisy responds.

"What about me? Am I included in us against the world?" Bobbi asks curious, and once she does Peter and Daisy look at each other,

"Nah," Daisy and Peter say together, clearly teasing their sister.

"Mean, both of you," Bobbi tells her siblings, pretending to be insulted.

While his kids are teasing each other in the living room Tony has headed into his lab so that he can call Melinda.

"Tony? Is something wrong?" Melinda asks concerned, as she answers the phone.

"No, not really," Tony answers, "It's Daisy, she wants to come back to the team, and become an agent," Tony explains, "Gave a whole speech about how important it is to her,"

"Oh," Melinda says, "I thought this could happen,"

"Yeah, Mel, even if we can stop her I don't think we should," Tony admits.

"Really?" Melinda asks, sounding surprised.

"Yeah, I don't want her in danger. I want to protect her as much as possible, but she's seventeen, if we try and stop her I feel like…," Tony starts to say.

"We'll lose her when she's eighteen," Melinda realises, "Fury would be all in favour of having another Stark-May join,"

"Exactly," Tony says, "Where if we let her join the team she'd be learning from you and Phil, which would be a little safer," Tony says, knowing that it probably won't be much safer but it should be a little, which would be good.

"Yeah…. Okay," Melinda says.

"Okay,"

A few minutes after Tony left to talk to Melinda Daisy, Peter, and Bobbi are still waiting together, Daisy feeling herself becoming more and more concerned as she waits, until Tony finally walks out form the lab and over to his children.

"Dad?" Daisy asks concerned.

"Pack your bags, you're going to be an agent," Tony tells his daughter.

"Really?" Daisy asks, looking excited.

"Really," Tony confirms.

"AH," Daisy yells, before running over to her father, "Thank you Dad," She says, hugging him, "I love you,"

"Love you too," Tony responds, and the two of them break apart,

"Pete? Help me pack?" Daisy asks curious.

"Sure," Peter responds, as even though he doesn't want Daisy to go he can tell that this is something she has to do, and the two of them head upstairs. While Daisy and Peter head upstairs Bobbi walks over to her father.

"You and Mom are really letting Daze become an agent?" Bobbi asks, sounding surprised.

"It's the best option," Tony reveals, "If we don't let her then once she is eighteen…,"

"She'll do it herself, without permission," Bobbi realises.

"Exactly," Tony confirms, "At least if we do it this way she can be a little bit more protected," Tony realises, and Bobbi nods.

"I guess I should go get ready," Bobbi says, before heading upstairs too, leaving Tony to wait alone, hoping he didn't just make a huge mistake.

About half an hour later Tony, Peter, Daisy with a couple of bags, and Bobbi in her tactical gear with one, are waiting on the Quinjet landing area of Avengers Tower, when the SHIELD Quinjet that Clint is flying lands.

"Hey Stark-May's," Clint says, walking out of the Quinjet a couple of minutes after it lands.

"Hey Uncle Clint," Daisy, Peter, and Bobbi say together.

"Nice work on the landing pad, it's perfect," Clint tells Tony.

"Good to know," Tony says, feeling glad about that as he hasn't had a chance to test things out.

"We should get going," Bobbi says, "Love you Dad," She says, before hugging him.

"Love you too Little Bird," Tony says as Daisy and Peter hug.

"Keep Dad on his toes," Daisy whispers to her brother.

"I'll do my best. Stay safe… don't die, please," Peter whispers to his sister.

"I'll do my best," Daisy promise, "Love you, Pete,"

"Love you too," Peter responds, and the two of them break apart.

Once Peter and Daisy break apart Daisy walks over to her father while Bobbi walks over to her brother.

"Thank you for letting me do this, Dad," Daisy says, looking grateful.

"You're welcome," Tony says, "There's going to be conditions. Your mom will explain them, and you need to listen," He explains.

"I will," Daisy promises, "Love you, Dad," She says, before hugging him.

"Love you too, Tiny Toni, so much," Tony says, as he hugs his daughter and kisses her head.

"Let's go, Daze," Bobbi says, once her father and sister break apart.

"Yep," Daisy says, picking up her bags, and heading into the plane.

A few minutes after Bobbi and Daisy walked onto the plane it takes off and Clint, Peter, and Tony watch as Daisy and Bobbi fly away, heading towards the Hub.
