It has been about a week since the mission at the Hub, and in that time Daisy has been reading S.H.I.E.L.D history books, and some other books about S.H.I.E.L.D partly because of what she did at the Hub and partly because she wants to train to be an agent.
As Thor recently played a visit to Earth, a visit that caused a lot of damage, the team are in England cleaning up after him.
"So, I know you've explained to me before, but I want to make sure what I think is right," Daisy comments, as she walks with Phil carrying a tray. "Asgardians are aliens from another planet that visited us thousands of years ago?" Daisy asks as she walks with Phil.
"Or more," Phil says, as he picks something up and puts it in the tray Daisy is carrying.
"And because we couldn't understand aliens we thought they were gods?" Daisy asks, still having a little bit of trouble comprehending that.
"That's where our Norse mythology comes from," Phil explains.
"That's too crazy, and amazing," Daisy says, looking amazed, "Uncle Phil, do you think other deities are aliens too?" Daisy asks curious, "Vishnu for sure, right?"
"You know, it'd be nice if, for once, Thor and his people sent down the god of cleaning up after yourself," Phil comments, causing Daisy to laugh, "They probably have a magic broom for this kind of thing,"
"I just wish they'd left their alien ship behind," Daisy comments.
"So we can clean that up too?" Melinda asks her daughter.
"So we could go inside, take a peek under the hood, maybe take it for a spin," Daisy suggests, "Come on, Mom, are you seriously going to tell me that piloting an alien ship isn't on your bucket list?" Daisy asks curious, and her mother just gives her a look, which tells Daisy all she needs to know.
"I can't think of a single time when anything alien in human hands ended well," Phil comments.
"Wouldn't mind getting my human hands on Thor, he's so dreamy," Daisy comments.
"Sure, he's handsome…" Phil starts to say.
"No, he's dreamy," Melinda corrects, as she walks past Phil, to Phil's complete shock, and Daisy just looks smug and hurries to catch up with her mother.
"You know it might not be a good idea for Dad to hear you say that," Daisy comments, as she can imagine how her father would react to that.
"He already knows," Melinda reveals, as Tony is aware of what Melinda thinks of Thor.
"Huh," Daisy mutters to herself as she and Melinda continue the search for alien artefacts.
A little while later Daisy, Melinda, and Fitz are back on the Bus while Ward, Simmons and Phil are investigating something. While Fitz is down in the lab Daisy and Melinda are up in the Command Centre, Daisy is hurryingly typing and doing stuff on the various screens as Melinda watches on.
"You know I don't understand most of what you're doing," Melinda admits, looking at her daughter, "But I've watched your Dad hack enough to know that it's not strictly legal,"
"With S.H.I.E.L.D resources and authorisation it is," Daisy says, with a slight grin. "Mom, I'm apart of this team now, and I think the best thing I can do for this team is to use my computer knowledge to help in whatever way I can," Daisy explains.
"You help in many ways, Daisy," Melinda tells her daughter, putting her arm around her, "But this computer science stuff is something that no one else on this plane can do," She explains.
"Thanks Mom," Daisy says, and as she does she realises something, "We've got to talk to Uncle Phil," Daisy says, and as she does she activates the coms where a conversation is already going on between Phil, Simmons, Ward, and Fitz.
"Anything that might help us to find these people or where they might be hiding?" Phil asks.
"Uncle Phil, it doesn't look like they're hiding," Daisy says, as she starts to watch a video about what is going on, "Sending to your devices now," Daisy explains, as everyone watches a video where 'we are gods' has been spelled out on the streets of Oslo.
"Well, I guess we know who they think they are," Ward comments.
"May, I need to talk to you on a private channel," Phil requests.
"Channel 3," Melinda says, before switching the channels and as she does Phil walks away from Ward and Melinda takes several steps away from her daughter, "What is it Phil?" Melinda asks.
"I'm going to call Fury, see if he can get touch with Thor, but that may not be our best chance to get though to him," Phil admits.
"I'll call Tony," Melinda responds, realising that it is what Phil is asking her to do.
"Thanks May," Phil responds, and as he does Daisy turns off her coms.
"Uncle Phil thinks Dad can contact Thor?" Daisy asks, and Melinda nods, "Tell him I said Hi," Daisy requests.
"Will do," Melinda confirms, as she turns off her coms to and heads out of the command centre, making a call to Tony as she does.
"Hey," Tony says, sounding glad, "I thought you'd be busy with clean up," Tony comments, as he knows that's what his wife, daughter and their team were doing.
"We are. We found something Asgardian," Melinda reveals.
"Dangerous?" Tony asks concerned.
"Seems like it," Melinda admits, "But we're running blind. We need to talk to…,"
"Thor," Tony says, knowing what his wife is going to say, "I don't have his number, he said he'll show up if he's needed," Tony admits, knowing that Thor said that in a much fancier way, "But I'll see what I can do,"
"Thanks Tony," Melinda says, sounding grateful, "Daisy says hello,"
"Tell her I said hi back," Tony requests, "I love you Mel, both of you,"
"Love you too," Melinda responds, "And Peter,"
"I'll let you know what I find," Tony says, before hanging up, and once she hangs up with Tony Melinda heads back into the command centre to see her daughter.
Not long after Daisy found the news report, and Melinda called Tony, Ward, Simmons and Phil have returned to the bus and Daisy, Fitz, Simmons and Ward are down in the lab.
"Jakob Nystrom, thirty, Girlfriend, Petra Larsen, leaders of a Norse Paganist Hate Group," Ward explains.
"And their numbers are growing thanks to what happened in Greenwich, and thanks to the internet," Daisy explains, "Yay internet, she said sarcastically," Daisy comments.
"Norse paganists?" Simmons asks.
"Obsessed with anything derived from Norse Mythology, stories of Asgard," Daisy explains.
"And now a weapon," Ward comments.
"The scan only accounted for one side, too much damage to the tree for complete reproduction," Fitz explains.
"But see here, it's clearly broken on both ends," Simmons explains, pointing to each ends of the 3D print.
"So, there are more pieces?" Ward asks.
"Yeah, two at least," Simmons confirms.
"Which means Sid and Nancy may be looking for a complete set," Ward comments.
"And the markings?" Daisy asks curious as the door opens and Melinda and Phil walk into the lab.
"Their Asgardian symbolism, hard to translate with our limited knowledge," Phil explains.
"Has anyone been able to get in contact with Thor?" Daisy asks curious, "Coz he gets his power from his hammer, right? W hat if this is his nail to the hammer?' Daisy asks.
"No one's been able to get in contact with him," Phil reveals, "Director Fury told me he's off the grid, and if he has a cell phone we don't have the number," Phil explains, not mentioning that he is aware that Tony is still trying, "S.H.I.E.L.D's investigations are on the trail of Nystrom and his followers. We're charged with identifying the object and finding any other pieces before they do,"
"They seem to have some advantage, they found this thing in 150 square kilometres of Norwegian forest," Fitz comments.
"Guys, what if it called to the with magic?" Daisy suggests, expecting Fitz and Simmons to react badly as she knows her father would.
"Called to them?" Simmons asks, with a frown, as Daisy notices that Ward and Fitz also look disbelieving, and she realises that she should have seen Ward being sceptical coming.
"We know it's Asgardian, so the rules are a little bendy here," Daisy comments, knowing that it might be a bit impossible to get a bunch of scientists and sceptics to believe in magic, but she is going to try.
"Just because we don't understand something yet doesn't mean we should regress back to the dark ages, talking of magic and fairy tales," Simmons comments.
"Actually, that's exactly what we're going to do," Phil reveals.
"Excuse me?" Fitz asks.
"Really?" Daisy asks, sounding surprised, as she wasn't expecting her Uncle Phil to say that, though she was hoping she might convince someone.
"When we first found the hammer in New Mexico I consulted one of the word's leading experts on Norse Mythology, Elliot Randolph," Phil explains, and Melinda nods, "A professor at a university in Seville. We'll leave immediately, maybe he can tell us more about these markings," He says, and everyone else nods in understanding.
A little while later Daisy is heading up to the command centre to continue her research when her phone rings, and as she sees who is on the caller ID she ducks into her bunk.
"Hey Pete," Daisy answers.
"Have you found anything cool left behind by Thor?" Peter asks curious, without even saying hello.
"Hey Daze, how are you?" Daisy says, smirking.
"Hey Daze, how are you?" Peter repeats.
"Better, I'm good, and we have found something Asgardian, that could be cool, it just wasn't left behind by Thor," Daisy explains.
"Really?" Peter asks.
"Yep," Daisy confirms, "We're going to Spain to try and find more about it," Daisy reveals.
"That's cool," Peter says, with a grin, that his sister can see.
"Yep," Daisy confirms, "How's school?" Daisy asks curious.
"Good really good," Peter reveals, "Oh have I told you what Ned and I did?"
"NO," Daisy responds, "details please," Daisy requests.
"It was great. You know how Dad gets when he is trying to be stern, but he is clearly amused?" Peter asks his sister.
"Oh yeah," Daisy says, looking amused, and Peter starts to tell his sister all about what happened with him and his best friend.
A little while after Daisy talked to Peter Fitz, Simmons, and Phil have gone to talk to Professor Randolph leaving Melinda, Daisy, and Ward. In the command centre alone Daisy is working on a tablet and laptop at the same time, trying to find some kind of clue, when Ward walks in.
"What are you doing?" Ward asks curious.
"Checking everywhere I can think of on the web and dark web to try and find another lead," Daisy explains.
"Any luck?" Ward asks.
"Nope," Daisy says, looking annoyed.
"How'd you get into this stuff? Daughter of a S.H.I.E.L.D agent and Hacker don't exactly mix," Ward comments, using this to get more information on Daisy, and possibly May, that he may be able to use in the future.
"They mix more than you'd think," Daisy comments, looking up from what she is doing, and resisting the urge to say, 'especially considering who my dad is,' "I've spent a lot of time in my room worrying about my Mom, Dad and others I consider family, because ever since I was old enough I understood how dangerous this line of work is," Daisy explains, and Ward wonders if he could ask about who Daisy father is without making it obvious that he is digging for information, "When I was younger I heard my mom, dad, and Uncle Phil talking about where Mom and Uncle Phil were going on a mission," Daisy explains, "After hearing that I knew that I wanted to find out everything I could about the place they were going, that's when I started hacking," Daisy explains, "From the moment I started it felt natural, like something I had been doing my whole life," Daisy explains, hearing a notification and frowning, "But it's not helping now," She says, once she checks the notification, wondering if she could get her dad and Jarvis help.
"The others will be back soon, we could get another lead," Ward comments, remembering everything Daisy said because he could use it in the future.
"Hopefully," Daisy mutters, as Ward leaves, and as he does Daisy realise that as tempted as she is to call her father, to get him or Jarvis to help him, what she wants more is to prove that she can do this.
Not long after Ward and Daisy talked about why Daisy started to hack Phil, Fitz, and Simmons have returned to the bus, and Daisy is still in the command centre, this time with her mother, trying to use a lead the team got from Professor Randolph to track down more pieces of the staff, when Phil and Ward walk into the command centre.
"What about you?" Phil asks Daisy.
"Nystrom's deep-web message boards are just abuzz with psychos," Daisy explains, as she found that a while ago, "They believe they're gonna ascend to be the gods of destruction and death. People suck, Uncle Phil," Daisy explains.
"That's your progress? "People suck"?" Ward asks.
"I've known that for a while, but these people suck more than normal," Daisy explains, being pretty sure that these are the kind of people who hate on her dad, "And there's also chatter about going underground," She reveals, forcing herself to slightly change the subject before she goes on a rant as she has gotten into several online fights, which lasted hours, with people since her dad declared he is Iron Man, all of which she was defending her father while doing her best not to reveal that she is his daughter.
"Could mean going incognito or…" Ward starts to say.
"Or searching for the next piece," Phil says, "Randolph said to check Viking routes, find any other?" he asks.
"There's some sites along the Volga river in Russia, some in Kiev, and weirdly here," Daisy explains, pressing a button the touch screen.
"In Seville Spain?" Phil asks, sounding shocked.
"It's a long shot, but Vikings sacked Seville twice," Daisy explains, wondering why she never learnt this in her history classes.
"We found one promising location with Viking relics," Melinda explains, "El Divino Nino, a church built on the ruins of an eight-century crypt built on Roman ruins from 206 BC, east of a river…" Melinda starts to say.
"And lots of bones. Let's see what we can dig up," Phil says, causing Melinda to roll her eyes in a fond way, "See what I did there?" Phil asks.
"So, lame," Daisy says, with an amused look on her face, as Phil walks out of the room, Daisy not wanting to admit that one of the things she has missed about Phil were his dorky jokes.
Not long after Daisy and Melinda identified a possible location for another piece of the Staff. While Ward is looking though a super-creepy hallway with a detection device Daisy is doing the same thing in a dungeon like place, wishing that she had some of her father's technology as it would make things a lot easier, while Phil and Fitz are sitting in a car listening in on the coms.
"How you doing, Agent Ward?" Phil asks, though the coms.
"Wishing I was shorter. Nothing yet," Ward admits, "All my readings are normal," He says.
"What about you, Daisy? Any luck?" Phil asks.
"Feeling lucky that Ward volunteered to take the super-creepy hallway instead of the slightly less-creepy dungeon room place," Daisy explains, but that doesn't change the fact that she wishes she had her father's tech so she didn't have to go into the building at all, "But I also got Nada," Daisy explains.
"Ward, your spectrograph is reading something near you," Fitz says, through the coms.
"I don't see anything," Ward comments, and he processed to chance after the comment, then suddenly they hear nothing from him.
"Daisy, can you get…," Phil starts to say.
"Already on it," Daisy says, as she runs, and when she gets close to Ward she can tell that something is wrong, "Ward, are you all right?" Daisy asks concerned, as she squats down in front of him, and because she knows well enough she doesn't reach out to touch him, but instead raises her voice and once more says, "Ward," And once she does he quickly reacts and gets a panicked 'fight' look on his face that Daisy has seen before, more times than she would like to remember, "Hey, hey, hey, it's okay," Daisy says, remembering back to after Bahrain when her mother would be very jumpy and remembering what her father would do, "Grant, it's Daisy, whatever you're seeing isn't happening," Daisy reveals, hoping that that helps.
"The staff, he has it," Ward says, though Daisy notices that he is still looking freaked out.
"Something's wrong with Ward," Daisy says, through the coms, "The staff's gone, someone took it," Daisy explains.
A little while later everyone is back on the plane and Ward is being looked over by Simmons.
"This is ridiculous," Ward comments.
"It's anything but," Simmons argues.
"Ward you passed out," Daisy points out, "and you were acting….. not right," Daisy says, struggling to find the right word, and still thinking that she didn't find the right one.
"Coulson ordered me to give you a full work up, and that's exactly what I'm doing," Simmons explains, "Before you lost consciousness were you feeling claustrophobic?" she asks.
"Why?" Ward asks confused.
"She's ruling out a panic attack," Fitz explains.
"I don't panic, ever," Ward explains.
"Everyone panics," Daisy mutters to herself as she grew up around the biggest heroes in the world and she knows they panic sometimes, they just hide it well.
"There we go, ruled out," Simmons says, touching something on her tablet.
"Touching the staff caused it, right?" Daisy asks, looking between Fitz and Simmons, who tell her everything she needs to know with a look.
"Any residual effects?" Simmons asks curious, "Are you exhibiting any extra strength?"
"Why don't I find out on that guy?" Ward suggests, looking at the screen.
"Yeah, no, let's not do that," Daisy comments.
"What's the last thing you remember before you lost consciousness?" Simmons asks.
"This is a waste of time," Ward snaps, as he pulls his arm out of monitoring device, "We need to find the staff," He comments.
"What exactly do you remember?" Simmons asks.
"Something I haven't thought about in a long time," Ward says, and as he does it is clear that he doesn't want to explain more.
"Maybe we should drop it," Daisy suggests.
"Well I mean, he just pulled his arm out of this…," Simmons starts to explain.
"Quiet!" Ward snaps, "I want to hear this…" Ward says, and he turns up the volume on the screen which is playing Phil interviewing Randolph and for the next couple of minutes Ward watches the screen, until Simmons turns it off, "What are you doing?" he asks, angrily.
"Your heart rate's rising, Adrenaline's spiking. You need to calm down, not get worked up," Simmons explains.
"If you want to talk about whatever you saw…," Daisy starts to say.
"Drop it," Ward snaps.
"I'm just saying, I'm here," Daisy says, wanting to be helpful.
"Right, to talk, that's what you do, talk, and talk. Don't you ever get tired of hearing your own voice?" Ward asks, and it is clear he is angry.
"Ward, take a breath," Daisy advices, trying to sound braver than she feels.
"Well, that makes more sense!" Simmons realises, "Ward, what you're experiencing, this feeling, its chemistry," She explains.
"Hope so," Daisy mutters.
"Yeah, spikes in his adrenocorticotrophic hormone," Simmons says, showing Daisy the tablet, and Daisy sees things she seen on her father and Bruce's computers, "It's like those stories you hear where a mother is able to lift a car to save her baby," She reveals, "An adrenaline surge can create a massive…," Simmons starts to explain.
"Stop talking! Just fix it!" Ward snaps.
"I wish I could, we can relieve some of the symptoms," Simmons admits, "I'm going to give you 10cc of Benzodiazepine," She reveals.
"Chill pill, good idea," Daisy comments, recognizing the drug name.
"A sedative?" Ward asks, "Not gonna happen,"
"Yeah, well, be reasonable, look how you're behaving," Fitz says.
"And if I'm sedated and we cross paths with those juiced freaks, the ones who flip cars and smash people up, are you going to take them on? Keep us safe?" he asks, tap Fitz's chest, "Or am I gonna have to save Simmons's ass again?" he says, sounding angry, before leaving, hitting things as he goes, causing Daisy, Fitz, and Simmons to jump.
"That was just a biochemical reaction, he didn't mean all that," Simmons says.
"No, I know," Daisy says, not wanting to admit to Fitz and Simmons that she is a little freaked.
"No explanation necessary," Fitz says.
After staying with Fitz and Simmons for a little while Daisy heads to the cockpit so that she can talk to her mother.
"Hey," Daisy says, as she sits down next to her mother in the cockpit.
"Are you alright?" Melinda asks her daughter concerned, as she can tell that something is up with her daughter.
"Yeah," Daisy confirms, "Ward's acting strange though," Daisy admits.
"Strange how?" Melinda asks, turning to look at her daughter.
"Angry, like really, really angry. Ever since the staff," Daisy explains, "Simmons said he's having a biochemical reaction, but whatever's happening it's not good, and he's not right," Daisy explains, causing Melinda to frown.
"You, Fitz, and Simmons should stay together. I'll see what's going on," Melinda says, before switching the plane to autopilot and going to go find Ward, knowing that if something isn't right with him then she will do whatever she has to do to keep Ward away from Daisy, Fitz, and Simmons, she won't let any of them get hurt.
A little while later Phil and Ward, through their interrogation, have discovered that Randolph is actually an Asgardian as Daisy, Fitz, Simmons, and Melinda are watching on in the command centre.
"I had no clue, did you?" Fitz asks, "Hidden in plain sight, an actual Asgardian, brilliant,"
"How long do you suppose he's been on our planet?" Daisy asks curious.
"A thousand years, maybe more," Simmons comments, "If we could just cut him open a little bit, get some tissue samples, maybe some bodily fluids, we could find out," She admits.
"Or we could just ask him, weirdo," Daisy comments, looking amused, "This is way, way, better than the history channel, I mean, this guy has lived through all the scary stuff, the crusades, the black death, disco," Daisy comments, looking over at her mother, who is typing on a tablet, "Mom? What are you doing?"
"Sealing the interrogation room door, Uncle Phil's orders," Melinda explains.
"Seriously?" Daisy asks, walking over to her mother, "Is Uncle Phil going to be okay in there?" Daisy asks, looking concerned.
"He believes he will be," Melinda answers, and from that Daisy knows that her mother doesn't completely believe that, and with a frown Daisy walks back over to Fitz and Simmons and the three of them, and Melinda continue to watch what is going on, for the next few minutes.
"Shines a light, that's no explanation," Simmons comments.
"Really isn't," Daisy realises, and the four of them continue to watch what is going on, learning all about the staff and it's origin.
A little while later Randolph has explained where the final piece of the staff is and the team have travelled there. While everyone is loading the cars up Daisy is standing, checking things on her phone, and responding to messages from her sibling and father, when Ward slams a car door, causing Daisy to jump.
"Uncle Phil are you sure it's okay for Ward to go into the field?" Daisy asks, looking at him.
"He's not exactly acting like him, but he knows it. he'll be fine," Phil says, before walking away and as he does Daisy looks at Melinda.
"I'm with Coulson," Melinda says, before walking away.
"Of course," Daisy mutters to herself, as she watches her mother walking away.
Over the next few hours the team investigate the lead Randolph provided during which time not only did Ward use the staff, but Melinda did too, while Phil had to save Randolph by putting his hand in Randolph's chest.
Due to everything that has happened the team have been given the night off, and are spending the night at a hotel in Dublin, and so Daisy is walking into the hotel bar, where Ward is sitting, honestly she wants to make sure he is okay as he certainly hasn't been acting like it.
"Hey," Daisy greats, as she walks over and stands next to Ward.
"What do you think you're doing in here?" Ward asks, giving Daisy a surprised look.
"The drinking age is only eighteen here, which means you can walk into bars at eighteen," Daisy explains, expecting Ward to know that.
"Yeah, but you're only seventeen," Ward points out, looking at Daisy.
"Not according to this," Daisy says, looking amused as she shows Ward a fake IDs, one of several, that Natasha gave her.
"Where did you get that?" Ward asks, as he snatches the idea and realises that it is as close to a 'real' fake id that he's seen, outside S.H.I.E.L.D issued.
"A friend," Daisy answers, knowing better than to mention who gave it to her, as not even her parents know she has it, and she is pretty sure she wants to keep it that way.
"You really shouldn't be here," Ward comments.
"I know, I just wanted to make sure you're okay," Daisy explains.
"That's nice Daisy, really, but your Mom's going to kill you, and me, let's go," Ward says, honestly more worried about himself than Daisy.
"But…" Daisy starts to explain.
"Let's go," Ward instructs, and both he and Daisy get up and head upstairs.
For most of the walk Daisy and Ward walk in silence.
"So, am I going to get my ID back?" Daisy asks curious.
"No," Ward responds, and Daisy really isn't surprised by that answer.
"You gonna tell my Mom? Or Uncle Phil?" Daisy asks, knowing that she has to cover all her basis, and thankfully Ward doesn't know anyone else in her family so can't tell them.
"No," Ward answers, "Not unless I realise you're using fake id's again,"
"Okay," Daisy responds, thinking to herself that next time she'll make sure Ward doesn't realise, "I'll see you in the morning," Daisy says, before heading into hers and her mothers room.
When Daisy walks into the hotel room she finds her mother sitting and drinking a bottle of scotch.
"Where were you?" Melinda asks her daughter.
"Exploring," Daisy answers, walking over to her bed, "If you want to talk about what happened today, I'm here," Daisy tells her mother.
"I know," Melinda assures her daughter, who nods, and isn't surprised that her mother doesn't want to talk about what is going on with her, but Daisy just hopes that she calls her Dad at some point.
A few hours later, Daisy, who was fast asleep, is woken up by her mother crying and talking in her sleep.
"Mom," Daisy says, getting up and hurrying to the other bed where her mother is tossing and turning muttering,
"No. please don't," Melinda mutters as she tosses and turns.
Even though her parents have tried to protect her from it Daisy does know what to do when her mother has a nightmare, as it is far from the first, and so she turns son the light and makes sure she is not standing close enough to the bed for her mother to accidentally hurt her if she lashes out.
"MOM!" Daisy says, raising her voice, but that doesn't seem to do anything, "I'm really, really sorry," Daisy says, as she knows what she has to do next, and it's usually what her Dad does as a last option, and so she grabs her phone and starts to loudly play a rock song.
Seconds after Daisy starts to play the song Melinda wakes up, bolts upright, and looks terrified.
"Mom, it's okay," Daisy assures her, quickly turning the song off, "You're not there," She says, and Daisy moves closer to her mother, "It's Daisy, I'm with you," She explains.
"Daisy? Daisy?" Melinda asks, looking afraid, though she is starting to realise where she is.
"Yeah Mom, it's me, you're okay," Daisy says, sitting down next to her mother, "You're not there, your daughters with you, you're okay," Daisy assures her mother, and she recognizes the signs of her mother coming back to reality.
"Daisy," Melinda says, once more, and Daisy just wraps her arm around her mother's arm and lays her head on her mother's shoulder, wanting to do what she can to help, as the two of them drift into silence as they sit side by side.
For a while Daisy and Melinda sit side by side in silence, but when she finally feels comfortable leaving her mother alone Daisy gets up and heads into the bathroom, having made sure she has her phone on her.
Once Daisy is in the bathroom she pulls out her phone and calls her father.
"Daisy? Is everything okay?" Tony asks concerned, answering after only a couple of rings.
"No, everything so isn't okay," Daisy admits, "Next time you see him you really need to tell Thor to make sure nothing Asgardian is still on earth, and to keep track of the stuff that is,"
"Daisy, what happened?" Tony asks, feeling his concern grow.
"We were trying to track down an Asgardian Weapon, the Berserker Staff," Daisy explains, "When it's touched It gives people, or Asgardians, an adrenaline rush and super-strength powered by the persons pain and rage," Daisy explains, "Mom fought with it,"
"Damn it," Tony says, knowing exactly how bad that will be.
"Yeah, Uncle Phil has given us the night off. We're at a hotel, and I'm trying to help, but I think Mom needs you, and it would help her to see Peter, and I would say Bobbi to if I didn't know she's on a mission," Daisy explains.
"What hotel you in?" Tony asks curious and Daisy gives her father the hotel name, "What room?"
"315," Daisy answers.
"Okay. Peter and I will be there by morning," Tony promises his daughter.
"Thanks Dad. I love you," Daisy responds.
"Love you too," Tony responds, and once he does Daisy hangs up and heads back into the hotel room where she sits back down next to her mother, and once more the mother and daughter sit in silence next to each other.
