Hey all! This isn't going to be my beat chapter by far, as I am not that fond of writing wedding scenes, much these days. And most of the vows can be found online, free to use.

With saying that, I am happy to note that the next chapter is ready to be posted as well, and I will have that one posted on Wednesday. After the next update, I'm not certain when I will have more chapters ready to go. As I do have to help my nephews and niece with their distance learning for a 8th, 4th and 2nd grader. It can get a bit crazy, hectic even.

I hope you enjoy this chapter, and I will be seeing you guys soon with the next one!

"You're not my fiancé," Zoe mumbled, opening her eyes to see two of her friends sitting on her bed, looking a mix of bored and anxious.

"No that we aren't," Annabeth said, pushing a tray of food towards her. "He did make you breakfast before he left," she told Zoe.

"Where is my charming fiancé on this fine morning?" Zoe asked, sitting up to lean against the head board, grabbing an apple slice to eat.

"Do hurry and eat, we have somewhere important to be," Lemon demanded, marching from the room, foregoing in answering Zoe's question on Wade's whereabouts.

"Should I even ask?" She asked, looking at Annabeth.

"Oh you know Lemon," she waved it off. "Meet us downstairs when you're ready to go," she told her friend, leaving her to eat and dress for the day.

She really didn't know what was going on. She came up blank when thinking of reasons as to why her friends would be waiting on her to wake up. She didn't know if it could be as simple as having girl's day. She didn't hear either of her friends' kids making noise, so it meant that whatever was going on had to do with just her friends. Maybe they were having a girl's day, and she thought she has spent time with both lately. Whatever the reason for the ambush, she could use the time to pick their brain about motherhood.

"Where are we headed?" Zoe asked, seeing the Welcome to Mobile sign. She didn't ask questions when they ushered her to the car, saying that whatever she wore was good enough for the day's events.

"The hair salon," Lemon stated from the driver's seat. "The nail salon, a makeup artist," she said. "A full day of pampering."

"Okay, but why?" Zoe asked slowly, looking from Lemon to Annabeth in the backseat.

"To have a full-blown girl's day, silly," AB retorted.

"I told AB about Stanley's mobile spa, and we decided that we should experience all of it," Lemon explained.

"I'll take that for now, but I still feel as if you two are up to something," Zoe retorted.

"No. Us up to something? Nope, no way," AB spluttered out.

Zoe gave her friend a knowing look. She'd get to the bottom of it, eventually, for now she'd take it as it came and not worry or stress over it, she'd just relax.

She had no say in how to have her hair styled, as Lemon took charge there saying to have it put up in a bun. When it came to her makeup, it was all AB's choice to leave it as natural as they could. Her nails were painted a soft pink color.

"I already have my wedding dress picked out," Zoe reminded her friends as they entered the bridal boutique.

"Don't be daft, we know this," Lemon stated, rolling her eyes. "We're here to get you a new one," she informed her friend.

"Why in the world do I need a new dress for?" Zoe asked, looking around at the sea of wedding dresses, whether they be for the bride, the bridesmaids or the flower girl.

"It's all a surprise, that we can't say," Annabeth told her. "Just please stop asking questions and follow us," she told her friend, leading her through the store to the back of it.

It went against everything she had in her to avoid asking questions when they pulled dresses for her to try on, all of them fitting over her rounded stomach housing her boy for another month. And really, she didn't need to ask questions, when she thought about it, all the pieces could be put into order, telling her what was going on.

A surprise indeed.

The answer all too clear when they pulled up to the carriage house, where they ushered Zoe inside without letting her look around the place she once called home.

"You guys," Zoe said on the verge of tears, not wanting to ruin any of her makeup by crying. Though one couldn't blame her for breaking down in tears. Being pregnant already had her an emotional wreck and now her friends and family gave her the biggest and best surprise she could ask for.

"It was all that future husband of yours idea," Lemon said, pinning the white veil in her friend's elegant bun.

"I thought he was being all crazy pants for doing this, without any of your input," Annabeth said, digging in a bag to pull a few different boxes of various sizes out. "Then bam!" She exclaimed, turning to face Zoe. "He shows us the book you've been working on and as your oldest and dearest friends, we were sold," she smiled.

"The hard part was getting you out of town without suspecting anything," Lemon shared, fixing the veil, now that she had enough bobby pins in place.

"Trust me there was suspicion, I didn't voice it," she told her friends.

"If that's what you call it," Lemon stated, rolling her eyes.

Zoe went to protest, when AB cut her off, opening a smaller box up. Sitting inside on a soft velvet cushion is a pearl necklace with a blue flower pendent.

"They're beautiful," Zoe whispered, running her fingers over the pearls.

"Your dad wanted us to give these to you. They belonged to your great-grandmother. You have something old and blue," AB told her, taking the necklace to help put them around Zoe's neck.

"Your something new," Lemon said, handing Zoe a smaller box to open. "A gift from your husband."

Zoe gasped, looking over the Crystal Cluster Drop Earrings. She was having trouble in the not crying department. She was feeling that before the ceremony is to start that her makeup might very well need to be touched up; waterproof or not.

"The something borrowed has been a bit tricky to figure out," Annabeth told her. "We searched throughout Bluebell. And we think we found something sweet," she smiled.

"This was the hardest thing to find for you," Lemon told her. "And this brooch," she said, Zoe taking the crystal and pearl brooch from the small box. "It was Jackie's," she shared. Hearing that alone made tears want to spring into action. She'd make sure to thank Earl for letting her borrow it.

"It's beautiful, sweet, and simply perfect," Zoe whispered, having her friends pin the small brooch to the right side of her wedding dress.

"Take a moment," Annabeth told her. "We're going to get your dad and get the show on the road," she said, pulling Lemon from the carriage house.

With them gone, Zoe took a look in the mirror, using a tissue to dab at her watery eyes. Her makeup was done in neutral shades, giving off a natural face. Her veil pinned to the bottom part of her bun. Her wedding dress is a simple floor length lace v-neck with an empire waist with thick lace straps.

"Honey, you look absolutely beautiful," Harley gushed, entering the carriage house to see his daughter. She gave him a watery smile. "Deep breaths, sweetie," he told her.

Zoe nodded her head, taking breaths to calm her nerves down. "Shall we?" Zoe asked him. More than ready to make the love of her life her husband already.

"Maybe your old father isn't ready to marry his only daughter off," he teased, holding his arm out for her to take.

"Ready or not," she teased, slipping her arm through his. "I'm getting married today," she grinned.

Where her focus should have been on the way the mayor's plantation was set up as dusk began to turn into night the vibrate reds, yellows and orange from the sun setting slowly fading away to the fairy lights. The small floating candles moving along in the pond. The guests standing to watch her not only walk down the aisle but marry the man she couldn't look away from.

Wade stood at the front of the aisle in a black tux with a white shirt and a dark-blue vest, his eyes taking in Zoe, his once nervous look turning into one of love seeing Zoe walking towards him.

"Who gives the bride away?" Reverend Peter Mayfair asked.

"I do," Harley said, placing Zoe's hand in Wade's.

"Welcome. Please be seated," Reverend Mayfair started to say, having everyone take their seats. "First, I'd like to begin by welcoming everyone and thanking each of you for being here on this most happy of days. It's no accident that each of you are here today, because you represent someone important in the individual and collective lives of Wade and Zoe."

Wade gave Zoe's fingers a gentle squeeze, his eyes locked onto her brown ones, letting himself get lost in her. Zoe returned his smile, a faint blush covering her cheeks.

"I truly can't think of a better venue than the Mayor's plantation for an occasion that I know is not only monumental for the wedded-couple-to-be, but for all of us, who are lucky to know and love them as individuals; but even more so as a perfect pairing."

A few chuckles sounded from around them, including the couple to be. As they could look back on their memories of being neighbors, friends and falling into a real-life love for each other. Ups and downs, more ups than down and you could even say their love started over a blown fuse box.

"The most remarkable moment in life is when you meet the person who makes you feel complete. The person who makes the world a beautiful and magical place. The person with whom you share a bond so special that it transcends normal relationships and becomes something so pure and so wonderful, that you can't imagine spending another day of your life without them. I know how deeply these two care for and love one another, and I feel privileged to be here today among all of you as a witness of their commitment to a lifetime of love for one another."

As much as Zoe was having a hard time in trying to focus on what was being said, so was Wade. Really, they wanted this part over so they could be husband and wife.

"It was extremely clear that the two of them represent a perfect pairing because each of them complements the other so well. They balance one another, and while each of them are tremendous individuals on their own, together they are even better. What I do know is that both of them care deeply and passionately for each other; they protect each other; they make each other laugh and think outside themselves; that time magically seems to both fly and slow down when they're together. They help each other in ways that are obvious and unnoticed, but always appreciated."

Wade couldn't keep the grin from his face, everything being said, is the truth. And he couldn't say it any better than Reverend Mayfair. Everything being said, is what love is.

"I also know that it's not just anyone with whom you can have communication with simply a look, or saying "I'm sorry" every time it's warranted, or eventually. They do that for and with each other. It's also my personal experiences with Zoe and Wade that highlight the quality of their love. What I wish for them on their wedding day is that their lifetime together as a team is one of complete contentment; full of those moments that they wish would never end, and that they continue to make one another smile and laugh as they make each of us do," reverend Mayfair said, wrapping the first speech up.

"Dearly beloved and honored guests. We are gathered together here to join Wade and Zoe in the union of marriage. This contract is not to be entered into lightly, but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. The bride and groom have each prepared vows that they will read now."

"Zoe, words aren't enough to begin to tell you how much I love you, or how much I care, because nothing comes close to perfect when compared to you," Wade started to say, having pulled a folded piece of paper from his suit pocket. "Not a single day goes by that I don't think myself lucky that I met you. I always knew that one day an angel would come and steal my heart, and here you are; I couldn't imagine anyone else in the world that I want to spend forever with. There is no other girl I will love as much as I love you, except for our future daughter," he said, turning to their guests. "And no, that's not a clue as to what we're having," he told them, earning laughs and groans.

"Oh come on, you can't do that to us," Lemon protested. Wade gave her a look, turning back to Zoe.

"I will stand by you no matter what; I will be there to hold your hand, and hold you when you cry through everything I will be there with you. Zoe, you won't have to go it alone."

"Wade," whispered Zoe, blinking tears away. Wade quickly wiped a stray tear from her cheek.

"Zoe, before I met you, I never thought I could be as happy as you make me. You make me smile no matter what mood I am in; you brighten my darkest day and always make any pain I am in go away, before today meeting you and falling in love with you was the best thing that I have ever done, but now I can say I have done better. I can say the best thing I ever did was marry the girl of my dreams, I will love you forever and always," he finished his vows.

"Alright lets see what I have, shall we?" Zoe asked, clearing her throat. "Please excuse me as I wasn't privy to this happening today," she shared, closing her eyes for a brief minute. "Wade, since I was a little girl, I didn't dream up the perfect wedding, or the perfect dress, the perfect ceremony, the perfect hair, the perfect flowers, to me that wasn't what a wedding was. A wedding is bringing two people together as one, so I would dream up the perfect man. It was the day you proposed that I realized I had been blessed with my perfect man," Zoe said, taking a deep breath and getting her racing thoughts in order.

"I am so blessed to be standing here today in front of all of our friends and family, celebrating our love and future together. Since the day we met, you made me want to be a person worthy of your love. I know we have our moments far from perfection, but everyone here can vouch that if any two people can make it through anything, it would be you and I," she said, pausing to get her emotions in order.

"Breath, baby," Wade whispered, catching a tear before it rolled down her cheek. Zoe gave him a smile.

"Today, I make a promise that I will spend every day for the rest of our lives together proving that I am worthy of being your partner. When I look into your eyes, I see the future that others only dream about. There are no words that can describe to a full extent how I feel about you. My life is nothing without you in it. Everything I am I owe to you. This moment is ours to cherish, and it is only the start of our beautiful life together," she shared. "Wade you are my soul; you are my life; you are my everything," she finished saying.

"Zoe, I'd say you nailed it with no clue about this wedding taking place today," reverend Mayfair stated. "Wade, do you take Zoe to be your wife? Do you promise to love, honor, cherish, and protect her, forsaking all others, and holding only unto her forevermore?"

"I do," Wade answered easily.

"Zoe, do you take Wade to be your husband? Do you promise to love, honor, cherish, and protect him, forsaking all others, and holding only unto him forevermore?"

"I do," Zoe answered with a big smile.

"Wade and Zoe will now exchange rings as a symbol of love and commitment to each other. Rings are a precious metal; they are also made precious by you wearing them. Your wedding rings are special; they enhance who you are. They mark the beginning of your long journey together. Your wedding ring is a circle, a symbol of love never ending. It is the seal of the vows you have just taken to love each other without end. Wade, please place the ring on Zoe's left hand and repeat after me. As a sign of my love."

"As a sign of my love," Wade repeated, ready to place the wedding band into her left ring finger. "That I have chosen you. Above all else. With this ring, I thee wed," he repeated, sliding the ring in place.

"Zoe, please place the ring on Wade's left hand and repeat after me. As a sign of my love."

"As a sign of my love," Zoe repeated, ready to place the wedding band into his left ring finger. "That I have chosen you. Above all else. With this ring, I thee wed," she repeated, sliding the ring in place.

"To make your relationship work will take love. Continue to date each other. Take time to show each other that your love and marriage grows stronger with time. It will take trust to know that in your hearts, you truly want what is best for each other. It will take dedication to stay open to one another and to learn and grow together. It will take loyalty to go forward together, without knowing exactly what the future brings," Reverend Mayfair spoke. "It will take commitment to hold true to the journey you have both pledged today."

Wade gave Zoe's hand a reassuring squeeze, Zoe returning the gesture.

"And now by the power vested in me by the state of Alabama, it is my honor and delight to declare you married. Go forth and live each day to the fullest. You may seal this declaration with a kiss."

Wade didn't need to be told twice, careful when pulling Zoe to him, sealing his lips over hers for their first kiss as a married couple.

"I am pleased to present the newlyweds, Wade and Zoe Kinsella."

Claps and cheers were given off for them, before they were swept away for pictures.

Other than a few dances, one with Wade for their first dance and the father/daughter dance, Zoe was tired and wanted to rest and as much fun as one would have at their reception, she didn't want to be sitting watching all the fun going on. The food was catered by Fancies, and they had to switch the cake they decided on months ago. Wade still got his Southern Hazelnut Praline cake and their main cake was a Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Cake. Mindful for Zoe the reception was kept to a couple of hours, to celebrate the newly wedded couple before Wade ushered Zoe home to bed.
