Here we are at Chapter 105. Time to see the gang put their plan into action to get to Atlas. Also, for those asking for a filler chapter where the girls get drunk, that won't happen in volume 6, but it MIGHT happen in volume 7. You'll see. Anyway, I do not own RWBY. They belong to Roosterteeth. I only own my OCs. Here's chapter 105. Enjoy.

Chapter 105: Get your own Ride

Weiss and Reaper walk through the military base, with Reaper carrying a rolling luggage bag for Weiss, while Cordovin and her guards escort them through the facility, along with Saphron and Adrian.

"I was relieved to hear that you came to your senses Miss Schnee. Many of us were heartbroken when we heard that you would be attending... Beacon Academy. Knowing that you'll be returning to Atlas just warms my old heart," Cordovin says.

Reaper keeps his mask on, mostly to keep Cordovin from seeing the look of disgust on his face while he tries not to puke at the garbage she's spewing.

"It was time for me to return home and connect back with my roots. I am also grateful that you're allowing my bodyguard to return with me. I don't know what I'd do without him," Weiss says, lying except for the part about Reaper mostly.

"Oh, can't wait to see you walk in your sister's footsteps," Cordovin notes, making Weiss and Reaper nervous, and more impatient to get on with it.

"Of course. Luckily, Edom and my sister already know each other, so I'm sure they'll want some time to catch up as well," Weiss notes.

"Well, just in case, I'm sending two of my best guards to personally escort you home... You can tell Ironwood about that part," Cordovin says with a wink before walking off.

"Shall I assist Miss Schnee with her bag?" one guard asks.

"Oh no, Edom can handle it. It's what I pay him for," Weiss says. "Oh, I SO wish I could hit them for making me degrade Reaper like that."

"Very well. Then we shall escort you onto the ship," the second guard says.

Saphron looks to her son, "Okay, just like we practiced," she whispers, and Adrian nods before letting out an extremely loud cry across the base. "Oh no, he's crying. I think he's going to miss you two so much. You should get going before he gets worse," Saphron says, doing her part.

"A crying child! We must tend to it!" the guards exclaim weirdly.

Weiss and Reaper use this chance to sneak onto the ship.

"That was too close," Weiss notes.

"Just be glad we managed to get onto the ship. And with our heavy cargo," Reaper notes.

"Everything good on your end?" Ruby suddenly asks over the comms.

"Yes," Weiss replies.

"Heavy?! It's all muscle. You brain-dead idiot!" Maria's voice calls out from within the bag.

"Keep it down," Reaper mutters.

Meanwhile, the rest of the gang are the cliffs outside the city, except for Blake and Yang.

"Alright, we'll keep an eye on our scrolls. Once we see that Weiss and Reaper are out of range of the comm tower, that will also mean they'll be out of radar range as well," Ruby explains.

"And that's when Blake and Yang will handle their part," Khazhak says.

"We're clear on our end. I almost got Blake to the drop off," Yang calls in from comms.

Blake has Terra on her scroll as she and Yang ride through the forest to the relay tower.

"Okay, one, the radar box is separate from the rest of the comms equipment, so if you disconnect it properly, it won't take out the comms for the rest of the city. Two... this conversation never happened," Terra says, taking a risk for helping them.

"Don't worry, this isn't the first time I've disabled Atlas security," Blake says, though it doesn't help.

Terra scowls at her, "Never. Happened," she reiterates.

"Well, would you rather it be Blake, or Lloyd, because he would just smash the whole thing," Khazhak says.

"Hey!" Lloyd retorts, but everyone just stare at him. "...Fine, you made your point," he concedes.

The girls reach the drop-off point and Blake hops off, but Yang remains concerned.

"You sure I shouldn't come with?" Yang asks.

"The larger the group, the more likely It's to be seen. Besides, your stealth skills aren't exactly..." Blake begins, only for Yang to cross her arms with a flat stare. "-I mean you're great, it's all good!" she quickly saves herself.

Yang eventually smiles, "Just go," she says, and Blake heads off.

Back with the others, Khazhak notices Porphyrius staring at the forest with a serious look.

"Porphyrius," he hears and looks to Khazhak. "Go. Just don't keep the lady waiting," Khazhak says.

Porphyrius smiles and nods his head before running off to join Yang and Blake.

"You sure it's okay for him to leave like that?" Lloyd asks.

"He'll be fine. We have to play our part," Khazhak says, looking to his missing limb, and then to his grandfather's sword. "I only hope i can be useful in this little plan of ours," he notes.

Ruby gently takes his hand into her own, "Of course you will. We all need you," she says affectionately, making him smile and nod.

Ruby then looks at her uncle, who is leaning against a tree, looking a little worried.

"It's gonna work," Ruby mutters, more for herself than for anyone else.

Back with Weiss and Reaper, their airship is in the sky, and they see on Weiss' scroll that their signals with the others have now been lost, signaling the next phase of the plan. Reaper nods and moves to the pilots.

"Mr. Wilson, what are you-," one pilot begins.

"Sorry, boys," Reaper says, smirking under his mask, and then beats the crap out of both of them before tossing them out of the airship. Luckily, he gave them a parachute to safely guide them to the water. Though, he only gave them ONE parachute. "God, that felt SO good to do that," Reaper notes as Maria and Weiss take the pilot seats.

"You're sure you know how to fly this thing?" Weiss asks Maria.

"Young lady, I was the Grimm Reaper, remember? What part of 'best huntress of her generation, don't you understand? I can pilot anything," Maria replies as she straps herself in.

"Yeah, but what about your eyes? The controls are not exactly color-coded for people with your condition," Reaper asks.

Maria only laughs a bit before pulling a small device from the controls and plugging it into her eyes. Just then, the systems transfer their sensor array information straight into her eyes, allowing her to see everything more normally now, and thus making it easier for her to pilot the airship.

"Didn't see that coming. And I thought I had fancy facial tech" Reaper mutters.

"You should have a little more faith in your teacher, Edom. I thought I taught you better than that," Maria says.

"I have faith that you once told us that your eyes were in desparate need of repair. I also have faith that it's been quite some time since you last had the controls of ANY vehicle on Remnant," Reaper retorts.

"Details, details," Maria waves it off befoe turning the airship around to head to their allies. "If I were you, I would buckle up in case things get a little exciting," she says, prompting Weiss to buckle her seat belt, and Reaper to hold on tightly to their seats.

Back with the others, Ruby checks her scroll to see that Weiss' scroll singla has dropped to zero.

"Alright, guys, time for the next step in the plan. Blake, everything good on your end?" Ruby calls out, but gets no reply. "Blake?... Yang, is everything okay with you guys?" Ruby contacts her sister.

Where Yang is, sitting with her bike, she gets up and looks at the relay tower, "I'm... not sure," she replies.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the forest, Porphyrius is making his way to them, but then stops dead in his tracks and looks around.

"Porphyrius, you reading me?" Khazhak calls out.

"Yeah, what's up?" Porphyrius replies.

"I don't know. Weiss' signal has left, but we're getting no contact from Blake or if she's finished up on her end. You see anything amiss?" Khazhak asks.

Porphyrius is about to respond when a sudden change in the air around him has him looking around. Looking in the direction towards the relay tower, Porphyrius activates his weapon and runs towards it.

Back with Weiss' group, their flight is going smoothly, until...

"Manta 5-1, this is Argus base. We see that you have changed course and are circling back. What's your status? Over," the military base contacts them.

"Why can they see us?" Weiss whispers with worry.

"If they realize what we're up to, then we're officially screwed," Reaper whispers.

"Somebody must've screwed up with the rest of the plan. Don't worry, I've worked with Atlas forces before. I know their military jargon," Maria whispers and then opens the comm channel. "Argus base, this is Manta 5-1, feel free to gaff off. Thought we were going to scrub due to FOD, back we're back up and green across the board. Over," Maria says, snickering at her military talk.

"If that just worked, I'll toss my mask into the ocean," Reaper mutters.

"I'll take that bet," Maria whispers.

"...Manta 5-1, return to base immediately or you will be treated as hostile. Over," the base replies, shocking them.

"Crap," Reaper whispers.

"I thought you said you knew their jargon. Why couldn't you do it, Reaper?" Weiss asks.

"Do I look like an Atlas robot soldier to you? I don't do military talk," Reaper retorts.

"The jargon was fine, but our pilots aren't elderly women," the base replies, hearing everything they're saying.

"Oops, got me there. Looks like you won the bet, Reaper. I can't believe you kids let me fly this thing? I thought my mind was the only one that was going," Maria replies, earning scowls from the two teenagers.

Just then, the radio comes back on, "CALAVERA! I recognize your voice from a hundred miles away. What are you and those insolent children up to?! You thought you could trick me, undermine MY authority, and get away with it?! If you don't return my ship this INSTANT, I will make an example out of you. I will show you the true might of Atlas!" Cordovin yells on the other end, only to hear chewing sounds coming a second after. "What the-."

"You hear that, Cordo?... That's the sound of me not caring!" Maria replies, eating cashews and making obnoxious chewing sounds on the radio before she starts laughing like a mad woman.

"THIS is your teacher?!" Weiss asks Reaper incredulously.

"Don't blame me for this. She's ALWAYS been like that!" Reaper retorts.

Weiss contacts Ruby, "Ruby, we've got a problem. Cordovin is on to us, and Maria isn't helping! Why is the radar still up- Reaper, do something about your teacher, will you!" she screams.

Ruby hears everything on her end, as does everyone else.

Khazhak facepalms, "Oh, give me a break," he groans.

"Did you really think it would go that easily according to plan?" Bahamut asks.

"What are we going to do? We need that ship, but they'll know where we are if the radar is still up," Voshkie'ahk notes.

"Something must be preventing Blake Belladonna from completing her part of the mission," Tiamat theorizes.

"We still can't get in contact with Blake. What is going on over there, Yang?" Ruby calls out.

"I don't know... But, I'm going to find out. Keep the ship in the air and board it when you can. I'll call you when I find Blake," Yang says before hopping onto her bike and speeding it towards the relay tower.

Khazhak calls Porphyrius, "Porphyrius, get there as soon as possible. Any Atlas goons get in your way, take them down, but try to keep casualties to a minimum," he orders him.

"Roger that," Porphyrius replies, running to the relay tower as well.

"Maybe we should fly over to help Yang and Blake first?" Nora suggests.

"Dammit!" Qrow suddenly shouts. "Cordo's gonna scramble her fighters. We've got 90 seconds at best before they're in the air and then they'll be all over Weiss, Reaper, and Maria. They'll be surrounded. Crap... This is all my fault," Qrow laments.

"What are you talking about? Are you thinking it's your fault because of your semblance?" Lloyd asks.

"Master Qrow, even your semblance couldn't have done this," Voshkie'ahk says.

"Don't you see, every choice I've ever made has led me here, and now I've dragged you all down with me into it. Oz, myself, Lionheart, all the others; we're the ones responsible for making this world as messed up as it is now. I shouldn't have come here, and I shouldn't have brought any of you into this. What the Hell was I thinking?!" Qrow complains, only for Khazhak to suddenly punch him in the face, knocking him into the tree next to him.

"Cry me a river. Listen, we're not dead yet, nor are we done yet. We've had to improvise on plans before, and we'll just have to do that now as well. I'm not giving up, and neither are they. As for you, you didn't force us to come here. We came here of our own free will, and even if you hand't brought us here, we would've gotten here ourselves eventually anyway. This mission isn't over yet," Khazhak says and steps up to him. "But right now, we could really use Qrow Branwen with us. And I'm not the only one who thinks that," he says and looks back to Ruby.

"He's right, Uncle Qrow. We can still do this," Ruby says as she joins them.

Qrow looks between them and then sighs, "Since when did you kids grow up so fast?" he asks.

Ruby smiles, "I had a lot of good role models," she replies.

"And I didn't get this far by giving up when things went south," Khazhak adds.

"Guys..." Weiss comes in over the comms. "She's not sending fighters," she says, leaving them confused.

"What is she sending?" Voshkie'ahk asks.

"Something much, MUCH bigger," Reaper replies.

They look off into the distance towards where the military base would be. The wall built into the large rock at the back of the base suddenly opens up, and the rock fall apart. Emerging from within is an incredibly large mech, with large, lumbering arms and legs, a wide torso with the cockpit inside the main body, and lacking a distinctive head on top. Replacing the right hand is a large cannon as its primary ranged weapon. And Cordovin is the one piloting it.

"Clearly the people have forgotten that they live in peace thanks to the awesome might of Atlas," Cordovin speaks over a microphone in the cockpit so everyone in the city can hear her.

"You gotta be kidding me. How long have they been hiding that humongous thing?!" Reaper yells.

"Allow me to remind you of your place," Cordovin says, pushing forth on the controls.

The mech raises its arm cannon, sections of it spinning before one piece pushes into the cannon itself and then it charges up its attack. It aims at Weiss and Reaper's airship before firing off a powerful electric shot that just grazes them, though it shorts out the controls for a second.

"You okay, mentor?" Reaper asks.

Maria gets her eyes back under control, "I am, but that she-devil has officially lost her mind!" she replies as she flies away.

"And that was just a warning shot, Calavera. All Atlas personnel stand by and watch as your leader maintains the order of this city and shows these criminals who's in charge," Cordovin says.

The gang at the cliffs see their airship fly by, with Cordovin's mech hot on their tails.

"Oh... that's a big, big robot," Lloyd notes.

Khazhak grunts, "Atlas military at its finest. Always spending too much time and money on their machines. Still, that's going to be a problem," he says.

"Are you sure you're up for this Khazhak? You're not exactly in the best fighting condition right now," Ren asks.

Khazhak looks to his left shoulder and then to his grandfather's sheathe hooked onto his rear waist. He draws his grandfather's sword, Wind Caller, and stares at the blade.

"I can't use my semblance with my grandfather's blade. My weapons were designed to act as conduits for it. They could take it, but this won't. I'm not at my best, but I'm not dead yet," Khazhak replies.

Voshkie'ahk stands next to him, "Well, you won't have to fight this one alone, brother. I'll be right there with you," she says.

"As will we," Tiamat adds.

"Indeed," Bahamut says.

Ruby thinks for a moment before contacting Weiss, "Weis, I need you guys to hurry back here. We'll need you and Reaper on the ground if we're going to stop this thing," she says.

Khazhak contacts Porphyrius, "Porphyrius, anything on your end?" he asks.

"Nothing. I still can't get in contact with Blake. I'm almost at the tower," Porphyrius replies as he keeps running. However, he stops when a thought comes to mind... and then he starts growling. "It's him," he mutters.

At the tower, Blake is on one of the upper levels, hiding behind some equipment, only to freak out when she finds a dead Atlas solider next to her. She stumbles back, barely avoiding a bullet aimed for her and runs to the other side, looking down to see Adam Taurus on the lower level, sheathing his sword.

"It's nice to finally have some time to ourselves, don't you think... Blake?" Adam asks mockingly.

Blake changes her sword into its pistol form, "Leave me alone!" she yells and fires a few shots at him.

Adam blocks the shots with his blade, "But I've waited for SO long for you to be away from them. Just you and me. I'm only sorry that I'll have to kill that abomination after dealing with you. Because that means you won't be able to watch him die," Adam says.

Blake makes a retreat, sliding along one of the cables holding the tower in place, only for Adam to swing his sword with his semblance active, ending out a red wave of energy to cut the cable in half, causing Blake to fall and land on the same level as him. Blake gets up and draws her katana as he attacks her. Adam makes a quick swing which she blocks and then jumps into the air with his sword reeled back to slash down at her, but she leaps to the side to evade it. She attacks with her sword, but he parries the strike with his blade. Blake barely manages to block a strike aimed at her back. He makes another strike, but Blake twirls around it and kicks him in the chest, making him slide back.

"Why did you have to come into my life and ruin everything?! Why did you end up siding with that monstrosity instead of me?!" Adam yells.

"You stocked me across Anima. I don't want anything to do with your life. And Porphyrius isn't a monster. That's what you are, Adam," Blake retorts.

Adam growls and attacks again, but Blake deflects his attack and twirls onto the railing behind her. He makes another swing, but she jumps over it and then uses her semblance to leap up onto the upper level. She turns around to aim her pistol, but finds Adam is gone, only to get hit in the face by the pommel of his sword. She looks to the side as Adam catches his blade. Blake jumps and uses her chain-scythe to swing around to attack him, making four strikes that Adam blocks before their blades clash, sparks flying. Adam pushes Blake back and then throws her to the side. He makes another swing at her, but she jumps up to the highest level of the tower, only for Adam to appear and grab her throat, pushing her to the railing. The two fall off, falling to the ground as their bodies smash through several branches and then they land hard on the ground. Both slowly rise back to their feet, lucky that their auras protected them from the fall.

"Let go of the past, Adam. I moved on, and you need to as well," Blake says, staring him down.

"Just forget it all? Is that what you did to me? You just threw our memories away!" Adam retorts angrily.

"Adam! I will never forget the past, and that is precisely why I am here now. I didn't let the past consume me like you let it do to you. And neither did my friends, like Yang and Porphyrius. We're all looking to the future, unlike you," Blake argues.

"Your friends?! A human and an abomination. You turned your back on everything we stood for!" Adam retorts.

"No, I didn't. You did," Blake counters.

"I let you go once before, Blake. I'm never making that mistake again," Adam says, drawing his sword from its sheathe a bit.

Blake readies her blade as she faces the demons from her past, one last time.

And that's the chapter. Things don't go according to plan with our heroes, though that's nothing new. Meanwhile, Blake faces Adam while Yang and Porphyrius are on their way to help. Will they save Blake in time? Will Khazhak and Ruby's group stop Cordovin and make it to Atlas? Until then, please Read and Review.
