A/N: Thanks for the comments. Sorry it has taken to long to get the chapter up.

Jennifer Baratta - Maggie won't completely crack, just yet.

Guest - I do plan on continuing this until it comes to an end. I am not sure if I will start anything new. If I do it will be focused on the sisters.

"Hey." Kara greeted as Alex entered her apartment. Picking up on her sister's mood she asked. "What wrong?"

"Well I did like you told me to and told Maggie. And that resulted in Maggie spending the night at Lena's." Alex said.

"I know. Lena told me." Kara said.

"What else did she tell you?" Alex asked.

"That Maggie was kind of mad. But that makes sense as you had lied to her." Kara pointed out.

"So did you." Alex shot back.

"To protect you. Besides she isn't marrying me." Kara pointed out.

"How do I fix this?" Alex asked as she sat next to Kara.

"Tickets to one of those weird bands you both like?" Kara suggested. But if I were you I would ignore my advice. I mean I have ruined things with J'onn."

"No you haven't."

"Every time I see him he looks so sad and guilty. I can't take it anymore."

"What does that mean?"

"I'm going to tell him the truth."

"You can't. I mean if you do, I'll get benched." Alex reminded her. "Then who is going to protect you?"

"I'm not designed for lying."

"You lie to everyone everyday about who you are." Alex reminded her.

"That's different. And it's to protect you."

"And lying to J'onn is protecting my job and therefore protecting me."

"How is stopping you placing yourself in danger, protecting you?" Kara asked.

"If I am not in the field I can't protect you. If I can't protect you, you'll get hurt. And if you get hurt mom will kill me. Hence saving my job is saving my life." Alex argued.

"Okay, I see that." Kara conceded. "But I still have to tell J'onn. Maybe if we explain why we are doing it he'll see where we are coming from. I mean he trusts us right?"

"We have tried explaining before." Alex reminded her. "And he thought we were crazy."

"No, he thought we were being difficult." Kara said. "Maybe we should introduce him to the crime board. If we show him how thoroughly we have been investigating things he'll have to take us seriously."

"But we don't actually have any hard evidence." Alex reminded her. "If we tell him now he'll shut us down."

"We have to bring him into this somehow." Kara said. "I can't take the guilt anymore."

"Fine. We'll talk to him." Alex said before noticing Kara sending a text. "What are you doing?"

"Inviting J'onn over." Kara said putting her phone down.

"What? Now?"

"No time like the present." Kara replied.

"But-" Alex started as the door opened and Maggie walked in. "Maggie, hey." Alex asked sensing her evening could go south very quickly.

"Alex, Kara." Maggie said. "What are you up to?"

"We were just about to talk to J'onn about everything." Kara said.

"Everything?" Maggie asked.

"Our concerns over Landon." Kara said.

"You are going to confess to J'onn?" Maggie asked, her tone mildly disbelieving.

"It's not a confession." Alex said. "We are just going to explain our concerns."

"Good, I'll add my concerns to the list." Maggie said.

"I'm not sure that would help." Alex frowned.

"Well seeing you are still seeking forgiveness I don't think you have much say." Maggie shot back. "So when are we doing this?"

"We aren't. I am." Kara said. "I need to clear the air with J'onn. Alone."

"Nice try. But if you are really confessing to J'onn you both need to be there and so do I." Maggie said, not trusting the sisters to give an unbiased account.

"I don't think that is a good idea." Alex said, but when Maggie glared at her she added. "Because I think it is a great idea."

"Nice save." Kara whispered to Alex.

"You know I heard that right?" Maggie asked as the door opened and J'onn walked in.

"J'onn? You got here quickly." Alex stated.

"I was heading over anyway. I wanted to clear the air with Kara."

"Do you want us to go?" Alex asked, happy to stop Maggie telling her side of the story to J'onn.

"No. You both need to hear this." J'onn replied.

"I think you should let Kara speak first." Maggie said.

"Um, okay." J'onn said turning to Kara.

"So the thing is we still think Landon is up to something and have continued our investigations into him and his temporary replacements. And we haven't really been following the taking therapy serious rule you set. We've been trying to catch them out." Kara said, unable to look him in the eye.

"I know." J'onn said.

"You do?" All three women asked in unison.

"Of course."

"How?" Alex asked.

"Well I am physic."

"I thought you couldn't read my mind." Kara said.

"I can't. I didn't need to. It was obvious." J'onn said.

"And you've let them?" Maggie asked.

"I have a confession to make too." J'onn sighed.

"What?" Alex asked.

"When I was first told there was to be mandated therapy sessions I knew you wouldn't take them seriously."

"Then why make me go?"

"They were mandated from above." J'onn pointed out. "Besides you both needed help and I hoped that despite my reservations you would give the sessions a chance."

"We didn't need help." Alex said.

"Yes you did." J'onn said. "The previous few months had been hard on both of you and changed your relationship for the worse. But after the first session I and Landon knew you would never embrace therapy."

"But you kept making us go." Kara said.

"Landon thought that if he was a figure you both disliked, both distrusted, that would help unite you. He thought you would work together to help take down a common enemy. Which you did." J'onn said. "It helped bring you two closer."

"Wait, you have been conspiring with Landon?" Alex asked.

"It wasn't conspiring. We both wanted to help you." J'onn said.

"You two were played by Landon." Maggie grinned.

"Unless that is what he wanted J'onn to think." Alex said.

"Here we go." Maggie muttered.

"Why bring in the other shrinks and are they part of this bigger conspiracy?" Alex asked J'onn.

"Landon's efforts to make you distrust him proved too successful and things spiraled out of control."

"You think?" Maggie asked sarcastically.

"He acknowledged his approach was wrong and needed time away to re-evaluate. His temporary replacements are unaware of the original plan. But they do associate his leave of absence with you. It is possible that has skewed their unconscious bias against you. If it has, then that's my fault and I'm sorry."

"You are kidding me." Maggie exclaimed.

"What?" J'onn asked.

"This is on them, not you. They were the ones who saw ghosts in every corner. If they had taken therapy seriously in the first place none of this would have happened." Maggie argued.

"The tiger you don't see but does exist can kill you, while the tiger you see that does not exist can do you no harm." Kara stated.

"What?" Maggie asked. "Actually don't speak. The important thing here is your insanity made Landon take a break and lumbered everyone with the new wierdos."

"Not for long." J'onn said.

"Does that mean mandated therapy is over?" Alex asked hopefully.

"No. None of his replacements have gone down well at the DEO and there is movement to bring Landon back sooner rather than later. So as of Monday he will be back and his replacements will be gone."

"Wait, Landon is coming back?" Alex asked.

"He is. Despite the issues you have had with him, everyone else at the DEO likes him. He has helped many agents." J'onn explained. "And therapy is still mandatory. I hope now everything is in the open you can use this as a fresh start."

"You don't need to be a telepath to know their answer to that one." Maggie muttered.

"I should go. I have paperwork to finish. I'll see you tomorrow." J'onn said leaving the apartment.

"Now you two know why he was a jerk towards you are you finally stop your stalking?" Maggie asked.

"Landon is up to something." Alex said trying to figure out the angle.

"And J'onn trusts him." Kara said. "But at least you aren't benched."

"That's true." Alex agreed as the door opened.

"Hi Kara." Lena called entering the apartment. When she saw Maggie she said. "Hey Roomie."

"Lena." Maggie replied.

"Does the frown on Alex's face mean she has admitted wrong doing and I am losing my room mate?" Lena questioned.

"I wish." Maggie said. "J'onn was just here. Apparently Landon being a jerk was all part of the plan from the start. Landon and J'onn have been playing them."

"Interesting." Lena said. "But where does Simon fit into it?"

"The sock?" Maggie asked. "Why are you talking about a sock?"

Before Lena could answer Alex looked up and conceded.

"Landon is more intelligent than I gave him credit for."

"What do you mean?" Kara asked.

"By coming up with such a divisive plan he conditioned J'onn to ignore our concerns." Alex said. "And by telling J'onn our concerns from the start we played right into his hands. But to know exactly how we would react means he must have had intel on us, so it is proof he was sent to screw with us."

"So what do we do?" Kara asked.

"I don't know. We need to think about this"

"Or you could just accept that Landon is unconventional but legitimate and take therapy seriously." Maggie suggested.

"And you say we are the crazy ones." Kara commented. "You heard J'onn, Landon planned this from the start and Alex is right he knew exactly how we would react so someone briefed him about us."

"Does this mean you are staying at my place again?" Lena asked Maggie.
