Wake ME Up And Save Me From This Darkness

Elsa slept soundly in her bed. Like an angel.

Jack watched from a distance from the rooftops. Like he was a ninja. Or a spy. He made sure Elsa was fine.

"Jack." Spoke a voice.

Turning it was Merida. "We need to go. It's the only way to protect her." She said.

Jack nodded. Taking in one last look at her. She looked so peaceful. "Alright." He stood up. "Let's go." And they were gone.

"Elsa." By morning, Anna was waking Elsa up from her sleep.

"Morning." She said.

"How did you sleep?" Anna asked.

"Better I guess." Elsa hasn't been sleeping well enough because of a dream she keeps having.

"Not that dream. Right? The sleeping drops are working?" Anna asks.

"Yes. Dr. Sand is a miracle worker. But I still feel uneasy when I sleep. Like I'm never waking up."

"Please don't tell me you have sleep anxiety. That could lead to Paralyzed sleep." Anna said.

"I hope not. But I don't think it's that." Elsa said. "It's more like, my mind doesn't want to wake. But I'm able to move my body."

"That sounds exactly like Paralyzed sleep, Elsa." Anna crossed her arms.

"But it's the brain. I can move my body. And I know I'm dreaming." Elsa tried to explain.

"Elsa. We need to speak to Dr. Sand about this. This is super serious. You could be asleep forever. You could die at a young age. And not from a seizure or heart attack." Anna said to her.

Elsa rolled her eyes. "Your making a big deal out of it." She said.

"Whatever." Anna gave up with trying to make her sister see sense.

"You want to know something, Anna. I think I have a guardian angel watching over me." Elsa said suddenly.

"What?"

"I just get this odd feeling like...he's there and...he's never letting anything bad happen to me. That feeling is what keeps me calm. And I sleep better when I know he's there." Elsa said.

Anna was shocked that her sister was speaking of some sort of...man. But a guardian angel? That was a bit far fetched. "If you say so Elsa. You might try and get his name is that's the case." She tells her.

"I don't know his real name, but I know one word. More of a nickname." Elsa said.

"And that is?" Anna asked out of curiosity.

Elsa smiled softly like she was still dreaming. "Winter." She said.

Jack on the other hand, was watching Hiccup and Rapunzel go at it again for training.

"You haven't been this down in a long time. Not since your sister got married." Spoke a voice. It was Merida.

"And you haven't been this grouchy sounding since your mother tried to marry you off to one of three losers." Jack remarked.

"You really want to see her that badly?" Merida asked.

"Of course. She's like my whole world. But I know that if I show myself to her, she'll remember everything. She deserves to be happy." Jack said.

Merida sighed. "You did what was best for her. You, me, and Hiccup. Rapunzel gave Anna all the instructions so she won't ever remember." Merida reminded Jack.

"What are you two talking about up there?" Rapunzel was yelling.

"What do you think?!" Merida shouted back with a laugh.

"Why don't you come down and train too." Hiccup said.

Jack and Merida raced down and the four began training.

Anna let Elsa sleep on the couch for the afternoon after she worked hard on her job.

"How is she?" Anna turned to see her friends Flynn and Kristoff. "She's sleeping at least. I've called North. He's not responding so he's the other one to call."

"How is he still coming here?" Flynn asks.

"I don't know. Have any of you heard from the others? Has Astrid or Moana? Even Tadashi or Hiro?" Anna asks.

No one shook their heads.

"Nothing I guess. It is best. If she wakes up to reality, then she'll be on his side. Again." Anna said.

"How could the darkness take her easily?" Flynn asked.

"Because she's been feared by everyone once. Called a monster. And she fears herself. That's what digs deep into her soul." Kristoff explains.

Anna sighs. "I wish there was something else. I can't keep him away from her. They love each other."

"But he's doing it to protect her. Just like Hiccup is for Astrid."

"But Kris, Astrid knows about Hiccup. Like Flynn, me and you know of Rapunzel and Merida. My own sister as to forget ALL of them. The one she loves, her childhood friend, her closest friend, and my best friend. She can't know of any of them. Or else she'll turn completely." Anna said.

Both boys didn't have anything to say. Anna wished with all her heart, that Elsa would be herself again. Her true self.

Elsa deep in sleep, she had her own thoughts going through her mind.

"I know you do this to protect me Jack. And I love you for it. But I can't be protected anymore. I am...dead." Elsa was saying in her mind.

"I'm dead. What I need you to do, is to save me. Save me from myself. And hurry. Wake me up. Please Jack. I want to be alive again. You need to wake me up. I know you hear me." Elsa was saying.

And Jack was. He knew every word Elsa was saying. Because they were bonded. Elsa wasn't the only one exposed to the darkness. But while Jack easily fights is in his current condition, Elsa can't. She's right. She is dead. But if she does wake, she won't be Elsa Snow. She'll be the Snow Queen.
