College! Why are you tormenting me!

I also want to point out that this took a long time to put up because I lost my digital information about my character and the direction the story was going, and of course, with my memory problems, I just remember basic details about my OC and the story was a complete blank. Oh and the original was lost in the stuff my mom moved into the garage. (Not my idea to move them. I looked for them but came up empty. we are planning to clean it out this summer)

Also I won't be planning for Meliodas and Ray (OC) to get together, no matter how cute it would be, due to Meliodas and Elizabeth's whole existence is based on ~SPOILERS~

Those who don't know just continue the manga or anime if it has already said (me don't remember)

Anyway ignoring my dramatic intro and pathetic excuse. Here's my (VERY) late (again) chapter

ENJOY

-Last Time-

"Are you coming?" I look over my other shoulder and see Hawk and Elizabeth gaping at me. Meliodas was already ahead. "Well?"

"…"

"Hmm okay then." I turn back around and head towards the doctor's house.

-Now-

"Hey Ray we're going," Meliodas yells out.

"I know." I continue watching the water boil.

"Aren't you coming?"

"After my tea is done."

"I see…" Meliodas turns around and starts walking out.

"Hey, Meliodas! Wait up!" Hawk runs after him.

"Are you sure?" I turned to Elizabeth, who was sewing something together, "Shouldn't you go after them?"

"I'm going." I turn back to my boiling water, "After my tea is done."

"Ah, I see." she went quiet after that, but her tone suggests that she didn't understand, "Done!"

I watch out of the corner of my eye as she runs out the door after them. I go to the doctor on the bed. I take the bandages and sigh.

"Of course this again." I replaced the blanket not bothering with the bandages. Letting the doctor sleep.

I wait a while longer for the water to finish heating. I dig into my bag and retrieve my tea leaves to put it into my container. Putting the container into my bag after filling it up with the hot water, I head out to the prison.

Walking towards the prison is pretty peaceful. That is until I stumbled onto a very interesting scene.

Hawk is on the sidelines watching a bug tornado with the pink lady with a vine whip. In the tornado is Elizabeth, walking towards a large man wearing a rather strange armor.

"Elizabeth!" Hawks yells.

I couldn't hear her from my position. I walk up to Hawk.

"Hawk. Why is Elizabeth walking to that man in armor?" I asked him.

"What?" Hawk turns his head to me, "there's only a little boy in the tornado." he squeals confused.

"I see." I turn back to the odd scene. She now reached the man who I presume is a Holy Knight. She hugs the man, increasing my confusion.

As I watch something catches my eyes. In the distance, Meliodas and Diane were fighting each other. This wouldn't seem too strange if it weren't for the glazed or glassy look in their eyes. I suddenly understood what was happening, hypnosis or illusions of some kind.

I hear Hawk speak next to me causing me to turn around, "the boy was a Holy Knight? Ray was right. These are all illusions."

Elizabeth tried to get the Holy Knight to stop with words but was being beaten by the tall Holy Knight. Hawk runs in to save her but is stopped with one strike. Then as she gets hit again with the odd staff, she bites on something. The bell from the staff is now lacking the bell. I ignore his gloating and the pink Holy Knight.

I turn to Meliodas and Diane who shake their heads and reoriented themselves. I look at Elizabeth lying there with the bell on the ground next to her. She took more hits and had more perseverance than I thought. The Holy Knight above her raises his fist for another hit. I gather light-blue flames in my hand, but before I could do anything Meliodas rushes in and blocks it. I sigh and absorb the flames. He turns to Elizabeth and whispers something to her.

Angered by the blatant disrespect, he sends Meliodas away with a weak attack. Gloating some more, he goes, presumably, to 'finish the job'. Instead, Meliodas easily sends the Knight away with a single punch.

"Ruin!" the pink Knight calls out. Before she can act Diane stood over her, fist in hand. with the nuisances taken care of, I walk to Elizabeth on the ground. she had many cuts over her body however they were all shallow nothing a couple good nights rest can't heal. my largest concern is the bruising on any muscle or worse internal organs. after a cursory examination it wasn't anything too bad, but she definitely won't get up today and maybe tomorrow. I put a bandage on Hawk's forehead and head to the prison. Meliodas probably already entered.

I just followed the trail of destruction that led to the prison. there was a large crack in the wall probably close to Diane's height. Meliodas was waiting at the front.

"Done?" I inquired.

"Yup" he cheerily waves back, "How was Elizabeth?"

"She'll be fine. She simply needs a few days of bed rest," I replied, scanning the prison.

It doesn't take long before Diane and Hawk arrive. She led us to an entrance tall enough for her to get through. Taking off her bag, she showed Elizabeth sleeping peacefully in it. I frown thinking it might open some cuts and leave scars later on.

"She insisted on coming along." Diane informs me at the sight of my slight frown. I nod.

Looking inside of the prison, I notice the lack of soldiers.

So did Diane, "Weird… this place is empty."

"Probably when I beat the Knight they all ran away" Meliodas said.

"Hah! Cowards!" Hawk cowed.

I raised my hand and called my flames forward again.

"Hey, Ray what are you doing?" Hawk asks.

"Scouting" I replied, making blue butterflies for the flames and sending them out.

"Huh how do you scout with flames? Or with butterflies?" he continues.

"While I don't have a mental connection with the butterflies, they are to each other and that information is directed back to my flames as long as I keep it up. Leaving my flames in my hand to move as they please, the butterflies can map out the area using my flame as a 3D model. They only give vague information though. See they found a person, but it can't show who they are." I informed him. I frown at the map slowly forming in my hand.

"Hey Ray, we're leaving you behind." I look forward; they already hit the fork ahead. "Which way?" Meliodas asks. I point the right direction. Taking out my tea, I take a long gulp of the hot tea warming me up.

After a couple turns we find the doctor's daughter, asleep in her cell. I ignore the bars scraping the ground or the screaming from the girl. There was someone following my butterfly back to us.

I walk to the person. Turning the corner is Ban with only his pants on.

"Hey Ray. I thought this belonged to you." He greets pointing to the butterfly.

"I see you're fine as always, never a scratch." I observe, "though can't be said about your clothes."

"Hey, it's not my fault that they don't treat their prisoners better." he jokes.

"Hmm. anyway, where is my Sacred Treasure?" I question.

"Huh?" he blanks for a sec.

"The one you stole before we had to split up." I reminded him.

"Oh yeah. I put it in a box next to some ruins." He rattles off casually.

"That's nice to know that my weapon is safe, but where specifically is it?" I ask, getting irritated.

"Uh… in that one town next to Viazel. Starts with a B." Ban waves his hand, nonchalantly, walking past me.

I sigh. I should have known that he takes as much responsibility with anything he steals, as he would with his life, pretty much none. At least he put it away and not in some ditch.

I turn around to leave the prison. We got Ban and the doctor's daughter, so we are done here. I back up a couple steps just in time to see Meliodas fly by me. Judging by the jolly cheer coming from Ban, it was one of their games again. I sigh again. I brace myself for the inevitable when the floor gives out. At least the game they play will solve the nuisance barrier surrounding the prison when they entered.

I gather my flames into the shape of a small lizard. I fed more flames into the form to make it at least as tall as me and had it to block falling debris. So any rock falling won't hit me.

By the time the smoke cleared, the boys were still arguing about the score. I ignored them as my lizard preens under my pats as he dissipates. Drinking the last of my tea, I walk to Diane.

"Shall we leave the bickering idiots behind and head to the town? I need more tea." I ask her. She was brushing bits of rock out of her hair, and Hawk was a bit shaken.

"Sure, we need to put Elizabeth in a bed and give the girl back to the doctor." She says.

(-_-) Time Skip (-_-)

Taking a sip of my hot tea, I relax against the wall while watching Ban make a joke of himself while drunk. I gratefully eat my hot beef stew with herbs and rice. I look up and notice the beautiful stars falling.

I finish my food and drink, and head back to the tavern.
