After getting a Level Ball from Ball Guy, and rearranging my party for the task at hand, I talked with the man in the front, who, of course, asked me to change. He then told me to head to the vault to complete the final challenge, so the vault is where I went. Inside, Raihan and three gym trainers awaited me, and after the gym leader explained the mission, I faced off against Sebastian, the first of the three trainers. We started with Haircut and Killer Frost, and, on turn one, Icy Wind took out Sliggoo and brought Peliper to the yellow. Haircut decided not to listen, though, so a tailwind was put in place against us. Next turn, nothing happened on my side of the field, and Supersonic ended up confusing Haircut. Luckily, Night Slash took Peliper out on turn three, and we were done.
With Sebastian out of the way, Camilla took his place, and Haircut and Killer Frost faced off against Ninetales and Turtonator. As Drought kicked in, I made the decision to switch Haircut for Octoling, and Killer Frost for Glumbreon. Turtonator's Shell Trap failed, but Glumbreon ended up being burned by Will-O-Wisp. Glumbreon started with Dark Pulse the next turn, taking out Turtonator with one hit and eliminating its Shell Trap. Octoling got burned due to her ignorance, and Ninetales stayed in. Again, neither Pokemon followed orders, and Glumbreon was hit by Flamethrower. Bite took Ninetales to the yellow, but nothing else happened on either side of the field. Turn five, the fight was finished with Bite, and Camilla stepped aside.
Sebastian and Camilla now gone, Aria took their place and the battle started. Abomasnow and Hakamo-o against Haircut and Killer Frost, and the first turn, Hakamo-o was taken out with Spirit Break. Abomasnow unleashed and Icy wind, and the speed of both my Pokemon was lowered. Turn two we unleashed the Metal Claw, and the fight was over, hook, line and sinker.
The gym challenge was done, and my next opponent was none other than Raihan himself. After being invited to the stadium and healing up my team, we started the final uncontrollable fight. Round one between Gigalith and Flygon was easy, with Flygon being one shotted by Icy Wind, and on turn two, the same happened with Sandaconda, along with Power-Up Punch KOing Gigalith. Finally, Duraludon entered the field, and the final battle began. I switched out Killer Frost in place of Diana Prince, and as Duraludon gigantamaxed… Haircut loafed, allowing Diana to take a Max Rockfall. The second turn, I dynamaxed Diana Prince, but neither her nor Haircut would follow directions, ending with her taking a Max Knuckle. Nonetheless, the following turn she returned with her own Max Knuckle, bringing Duraludon down to the red and allowing Haircut to finish him off with Power-Up Punch. Raihan was down, and the Dragon Badge, along with control over my party, was MINE! Along withTM99 Breaking Swipe and a new uniform, of course. As soon as Raihan was about to see me off, Hop arrived and challenged him. I was allowed to leave, with my awesome power now under my control.
Beating Leon would be a walk in the park.
Upon leaving the Gym, I ran into Sonia and Professor Magnolia once again, the former of whom congratulated me on finishing the gym challenge, and though she wishes that we could celebrate, we instead talked about the Darkest Day and the two heroes. That's when Magnolia passed on her lab coat to Sonia, and after telling her it looked great, we went off to the Hammerlocke train station.
When we entered, Hop ran up behind us, claiming that he had beaten Raihan, who was also with him. After once again congratulating the both of us, Raihan told us that one of us had to face Leon, and we were onwards to Wyndon. Or so we thought, instead ending up at the White Hill Station. Before leaving, I rearranged my party once again, mirroring it when we had first started: Octoling in first, Killer Frost in second, Glumbreon in third, Slit & Slice in fourth, Haircut in fifth, and Diana Prince in sixth. After leaving the station and allowing Hop to run ahead, I began the trek across Route 10.
The first trainer I encountered was Doctor Graham and his Gardevoir, who Octoling beat with a single Slash. Next came Cabbie Geoffrey, who started things off with Corviknight. Foul Play brought it down to yellow, but Swagger lowered Octoling's attack. As a result, I decided that, again, Foul Play would be used, taking out Corviknight. Flygon took the stage next, and I swapped to Killer Frost to finish the fight with Icy Wind. Unfortunately, the first one missed, allowing Flygon to unleash Earthquake. The second one, however, met its target and took Flygon down. Now with Graham and Geoffrey out of the way, Hiker Donald and I fought. Gigalith went down to a Foul Play and a Slash, while Rhydon only took a single Psycho Cut to take out. Donald down, and next was Gentleman Glenn, who's Darmanitan went down to Slash, his Falinks falling to Psycho Cut (after First Impression), and Grapploct as well losing to Psycho Cut. Finally came my rematch against Interviewers Gillian and Cam. Heliolisk and Klinklang took the field, with Klinklang going down quickly to Icy Wind and Night Slash from Killer Frost and Octoling, respectively. Then Thunder struck Killer Frost, and Togedemaru took Klinklang's spot. Once again, Icy Wind went out, this time taking down Heliolisk, while Octoling's Night Slash finished off Togedemaru. Finally, Gillian's Noivern came out, and met Icy Wind for a OHKO. I was done with Route 10, and finally entered Wyndon.
As soon as Hop and I got in, he started shouting about him becoming a legend, and he went straight to Wyndon Stadium, while I went to the Pokemon Center, and then the boutique. After finishing my look and league card, I made my way to Wyndon Stadium as well, intent on becoming champion.
