Chapter 12 - End of term
When Remus entered the common room the following morning, Lily walked up to him and handed him a flask, "Wolfsbane." she said, "I know." before Remus could respond, "And don't worry, I won't tell. Not until you're ready." Then she left, presumably to the library. Exams were just a week away after all.
On Monday morning they wrote their first test, Transfiguration and that afternoon they had their Herbology practical. Fifth and seven years were freaking out barely hanging on by a thread but everyone else seemed to be doing alright. There was stress, but Madam Pomfrey had brewed many calming droughts just for this time of year. The exams passed, slowly, but they passed. Soon students escaped the walls of the castle and spent long afternoons basking in the sunlight that lit the grounds. The school year was reaching its final hours and instead of the normal lessons professors were having fun. They were showing off and giving the students a taste of what's to come in the next few years.
The End of Year feast came around where formal greetings were extended and the next day the halls of Hogwarts emptied and students climbed aboard the Hogwarts express. Lily looked over the castle. She wouldn't see it again for three months. She's going to miss this place, this home.
"See you soon." she smiled.
