After those men had left, Romeo's mind was reeling. Wendy has a daughter? Apart of this guild? How could Rome not have known? His fists clenched —— how couldn't no one tell him? Well, he wasn't the only one out of the loop, but that doesn't ease his mind whatsoever.
Skylar's her name. Where did I hear that name before? Romeo wondered thoughtfully, cursing himself for forgetting such vital information. Skylar, Wendy's daughter, hm...
Meanwhile, everyone else was freaking out that their kids went on a job, but Romeo wasn't paying attention to them. But then, he realized something. Nashi, Luke, Storm and Reiki... The new girl was with them... her name is Skylar. How could Romeo possibly forget that?
When Skylar gets back, granted, if the murderer doesn't kill her, Romeo will question her endlessly.

Jack was furious! Why did they come back without the young Marvell? Alex must have been lying. That's why the little girl wasn't there.,
As punishment, Alex was to be executed.

Skylar's entire body was shaking. She and her friends and Reiki were facing a real life criminal. A killer, at that. More than anything, Skylar wished that they weren't here. Or more like, she wanted her mom back.
"Fire dragon..."
"Iron requip..."
"Celestial dragon..."
"Ice make..."
Oh, shit, that's her cue.
"Sky dragon..."
Before any one of them could finish their attacks, they were flung backwards by an invisible force. Skylar hit her head against a wall, but it wasn't too damaging. She sat up, rubbing her head.
The murderer had his arm outreached, a smirk on his face that made Skylar's skin crawl.
A few feet away, Nashi lied unconscious. Luke, too. Storm and Reiki... Skylar was the only one with her eyes opened. She wasn't even sure if all of them were breathing, but she was too scared to check.
The murderer stepped forward. His eyes were trained directly at Skylar. She wanted to flee as far away from this guy as she could, but there's no way she'll succeed. Plus, she didn't want to leave her comrades behind at the murderer's mercy.
Before she knew it, the guy lifted her up by her shirt. Either he's crazy strong, or Skylar's crazy light. The murderer pulled Skylar so she'd be looking directly into her eyes.
The murderer grinned, causing Skylar to gulp. What is he thinking? "So," the man spoke at long last, after having made Skylar as uncomfortable as she could be, "You're a sky dragon slayer, aren't you?"
How ever could he tell? Skylar thought drily, knowing full well that he must've heard her say 'sky dragon' when she was going to stack him. Too bad she didn't have time to complete it, though. Maybe then her friends wouldn't be left unconscious and she wouldn't be in this predicament.
"You know," he continued, "I could get a lot of money off of you, since there's someone who would pay greatly for you. So I won't kill you, but the same won't be said for your friends.
Skylar spat in his face.
The murderer gritted his teeth. "Why, you little girl, thinking you can just... I can still torture you."
A sword was thrown at his neck, slicing his neck right off. Skylar's eyes widened as she fell to the ground, a bit of the murderer's blood splattering on her face.
He's dead... just like that?
Reiki stood there, a few feet away, having had gained conscience. He threw the sword at the man. Skylar stared at him, almost — almost — thankful that the body was between them, or then she would've embarrassed herself by hugging him.
"Erm, thanks," Skylar whispered.
Reiki shrugged nonchalantly. "Since he's dead, I guess we don't get an award..."
"I guess not," Skylar said.
While they weren't quite friends, not yet at least, it would appear that they formed an understanding, of only for that moment. Of course, they'll deny it if anyone says that they stared at each other without malice in their eyes and with grins on their faces.
Heavens forbid, of course that never happened, they'll lie.
Once Nashi, Luke and Storm came to, they headed back to Fairy Tail, Skylar and Reiki not exchanging any more words.
