Penny runs as fast as she can. Her intuition proved her right to choose the window as an exit. All around her, agents are fighting each other but it's still dark and therefor nearly impossible to know who is on which side. It seems like since Talon is no longer controlling the ticks with his bracelet cuff, they are out of control and forcing the agents to attack everybody no matter if it's a friend or an enemy.

"I just need to get this bracelet to the meeting room, then I'll use Kayla's program to delete these robots once and for all" Penny thinks, dodging a knife somebody has thrown.

When Penny has almost reached the exit of the camp, somebody grabs her foot. She looks down and recognizes Sam.

"And where do you think you are going?" he asks her a dangerous glint in his eyes.

"Just away from you" Penny presses out trying her best to pull her foot out of his grip.

"Hold on tight!" a voice shouts out to her, so Penny instinctively grabs the nearest branch of the tree.

Kayla comes into view and with a massive jump she crashes into Sam. He almost falls over and his hand around Penny's ankle loosens.

"GO!" Kayla shouts. She is struggling to keep Sam from pushing her off the branch they are standing on. Penny is about to help her best friend when she shouts again "Go, it's important you deactivate the bracelet!"

She grabs Sam's shirt and jumps of the branch, pulling him down with her.

Penny stares after them in shock. Then she hears someone else approaching, shakes her head and quickly climes up the rest of the tree to get to their secret hideout.

Once in the zeppelin, she quickly rushes to the meeting room where Kayla's laptop is already prepared. She pulls out Talon's bracelet cuff from her jacket and links it with the laptop.

"Please work" she prays when she presses the button to start the program deactivating the ticks.

"2 minutes 34 seconds" the program says.

Penny pulls out her water bottle and takes a sip, she then closes her eyes only to open them right away because an image of Talon unconscious on the floor of the treehouse comes to her mind.

She takes a few steps up and down before she decides to check on the map if Talon is still in his treehouse and to check on Kayla.

"Talon's still there" she breathes out relieved.

She scans the map for Kayla's name and finds it in her treehouse. "Well that's weird, why is Kayla in my treehouse and no one is with her? Maybe…" Penny's thoughts are interrupted by the laptop beeping. She glances over to the monitor. It says "complete".

"I hope that's it" Penny mutters immediately starting to run to check if it's really over.

Once back in the camp everything is silent again. When she left a few minutes ago it was loud and chaotic. Penny was so occupied deactivating the bracelet she neither realized the damage to the treehouses nor how many agents were fighting each other. Now, looking around it truly looks like after a battle, she realizes shocked. Agents are standing, sitting, or laying around, helping each other if they need it. Penny slowly approaches a small group.

"Are you alright?" she asks concerned.

"They will be" a familiar voice answers. Jim turns around, showing her an exhausted smile. He has a few scratches on his arms and face but all in all he seems fine. "As far as I know, there are only few people who have more serious injuries." He pats her shoulder. "Good job." Jim turns back to a young female agent who seems to have broken her leg.

Penny continues walking in constant search of familiar faces. She heads towards her and Talon's treehouse.

A few minutes later she arrives at her own treehouse. Lightly knocking on the door, she carefully opens it. "Kayla?" she asks. No one answers so Penny pushes the door open completely.

Kayla lays on Penny's bed motionless. Penny quickly approaches her. "Kayla?" she shakes her shoulder lightly. Kayla moves around a little and Penny sighs relieved.

"Hey K, wake up". Kayla slowly opens her eyes.

"Ow" she winces while trying to push herself into a sitting position.

Penny immediately supports her. "Are you alright?" she asks, her eyebrows furrowed in concern.

"Of course, you know I have a thick head" Kayla smiles up at her.

"So how did I end up here?" she asks Penny, looking around.

"I only remember jumping of the tree with Sam…"

"I brought you here" Ben's voice made the girls jump.

"Sorry" he smiles broadly, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.

He comes over to the bed and sits next to Kayla, lightly kissing her cheek.

"I was worried sick" he said tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

"I found her unconscious on one of the suspensions bridges, so I decided to bring her here. Your treehouse was just around the corner" he explains.

"Thank you" Penny says hugging him. "And I swear if you ever do something like this again, I'll kill you" she says to Kayla, glaring at her.

Kayla laughs but nearly immediately stops, holding her ribs. "Ok fine but first let me get well again."

Penny nods in approval. "Fine" she smiles at her.

"Ben will you take her to our camps doctor? I need to look after Talon."

Penny inhales deeply. She is afraid of what she will find once she steps inside Talon's treehouse. She takes another deep breath and opens the door, slips in and closes it again. Her eyes slowly adjust to the dark room and she switches on the light on the nightstand. Talon still lies on the bed, hands and feet tied with the rope, unconscious. He looks miserable, his face pale, his hair dull and he is sweating a lot.

Penny goes to his bathroom and grabs a small towel. She sits next to him slowly and carefully wiping away the sweat. "Why did you do all of this?" she asks, her eyes filling with tears. "What happened to you?"

Talon seems to struggle with the rope around his limbs, so Penny decides to remove it. She slowly unwinds his feet and afterwards his hands. Once the rope is removed, she takes one of his hands into her own, her thumb drawing patterns on his hand. Suddenly she stops, noticing a small red dot on Talons wrist where his bracelet cuff had been. "What's that?" Penny takes a closer look. "Could it be that Talon had been bitten by one of the ticks as well?"
