Alright, so we got a bit of a situation here...

Apologies that this isn't a new chapter. I know I hate it when I'm waiting for an update and the stupid author posts an author's note that makes me get my hopes up only to crush them as they announce an indefinite hiatus (couch, cough, glass houses, cough)

Luckily for you, that's not what this is.

Unluckily for me, the real reason for this author's note isn't very author friendly.

So my mother works as a nurse in the Oncology department at Florida Hospital. This means while she doesn't see Corona-virus patients face to face, she's still seeing normal patients on a daily basis, patients who could very easily get her sick cause nurses can't exactly follow the 6 feet apart protocol as others can.

So unfortunately, on Tuesday she came home with a cough, aches and a low-grade fever. My dad took her to the ER to get her tested considering she's a high-priority patient being in the medical field and all. We haven't gotten the results back, but we should in the next few days. In the meantime, she was quarantined and ordered to wear a mask around the house.

Unfortunately, I am now presenting the same symptoms. I'm extremely tired, I'm coughing, have aches and a low-grade fever. Also bad is the fact that I have asthma, meaning the possibility of complications is much higher for me if this is what we suspect it is.

Hopefully, this is just a run-of-the-mill cold coming on at an extremely coincidental time.

But unfortunately, I'm gong to be taking a break from the writing.

Now don't worry, the next couple chapters should definitely be out before the end of the month, maybe even earlier if I feel up to writing in my down time, but I'm just gonna take a little bit of time to rest and be with my mom as she does the same. My dad's working from home to care for us so we've just been binge watching Animal Planet. Hahaha!

So just send the family a little bit of luck that hopefully this isn't Corona. I'll be thinking of you guys! I love you all!

Stay safe and stay healthy!
