George and Fred were washing dishes after dinner, while Ron swept and Ginny was helping her mother in the garden.

"Have you heard from Garnet lately?" Ron asked.

George nodded, "I sent her an owl a couple days ago. She had asked a bunch of questions about our trip, so I sent some photos and told her about it."

"So this is probably her owl coming, then?" Ron smirked as a sleek blonde colored owl came through their window.

It dropped the letter on the counter in front of George and landed on a dinning room chair, waiting for someone to give him a cracker or something. Only after it nipped at Ron's hand did he give him something to eat.

George was grinning when he saw Garnet's writing on the envelope.

He opened it up and began reading. He got a confused look on his face.

"Something the matter?" Fred asked.

"She asked if we'd like to go to the Cinema with her to see a new show that comes out on the 13th." George looked up at his brothers. "The Secret Garden ?"

Fred laughed. "The Cinema? We've never been to the Cinema."

"That's a mainly Muggle thing anyways," Ron butted in, "sort of like that teley-fone thing Harry told me to try and contact him on."

George thought about it a moment, "We don't have Muggle money."

"I'm sure Garnet could help you there." Fred chuckled.

"Wait, you're not going?" George looked at his brother wide-eyed.

Fred smirked at his twin, "Nah, you should go with her though, think of it as a date."

George's face lit up with excitement. He hurriedly wrote a reply and handed it to the owl.

"Awwww, Georgie's got his first date." Fred laughed.

George's excitement turned to one of horror. "Bloody hell! I've never been on a date! What do I wear? How do I act? Should I offer to pay for everything?"

Fred and Ron were holding their sides, laughing so hard at George's panic.

George fidgeted the whole ride to the theater.

After some major discussions between Arthur and Alatar, they had decided they would meet at a theater in the middle, in Yeovil.

Mr. and Mrs. Weasley had decided to use the time to do a little sight seeing; they don't get out very often after all, and had asked if Mr. and Mrs. Prince would like to grab a bite to eat with them.

Mr. Weasley parked in the lot and waited until they saw the Princes.

George and Garnet jumped out immediately and ran to each other.

"I've missed you!" Garnet hugged him, "You have to tell me all about your trip to Egypt!"

George nodded and grinned at her enthusiasm. "I already told you about it in my letter."

"But it's so much better hearing about it than reading about it!" She smiled.

He stood back and looked at her quick, "Did you have a growth spurt?" he raised a brow.

"I...yeah, how'd you know?" she blushed.

"In June I could easily rest my chin on top of your head, now I definitely can not." George laughed as he looked her in the eyes. They weren't quite even on height, but she was catching up to him.

"You two have fun," Garnet's mother called out.

George offered his arm and the two of them headed into the theater.

Two hours later, George and Garnet were making their way out of the theater to wait for their parents.

"So how did you enjoy the movie?" Garnet asked him.

George nodded, "It was interesting. I didn't like that Medlock woman, though. The boy is flushed instead of ghostly pale and the first thing they think is that he's getting worse? Really, I would have thought something was up sooner than that."

Garnet giggled, "I'm sure you would have." She rested her head on his shoulder as they sat on the bench outside.

"It reminded me of your mums garden, with those tall almost walls of flowers." George smiled.

They saw their parents cars pull up then.

"We'll be in Diagon Alley on the twenty-seventh and I overheard we're staying until it's time to head to school." George gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before the parents could get out of the cars, "Write to me and let me know when you'll be there, we can meet up hopefully."

Garnet nodded, smiling.

They gave each other a quick hug, and said their goodbyes before hopping in their cars.

Mrs. Prince turned around and looked at her daughter, smiling, "Did you have a good time, sweetheart?"

"Oh yes, mum, the movie was wonderful. George insisted on paying for my ticket, even though I told him he didn't have to, but I insisted on paying for the popcorn, so I felt a little better about it." Garnet grinned.

"A gentleman always insists on paying, darling," Mr. Prince chimed in.

"I know, Daddy, but..." Garnet didn't want to get into the topic of money. She knew that George's family didn't have much in the way of money, even after winning the Lottery last month. A theater ticket may not sound like much, but it can be for some. However the look on his face when he told her he'd pay for the tickets, something told her it was his own money he was using.

Twenty minutes into the drive home, Garnet stared out the window, watching the sun going down. It was a beautiful reddish purple, and made Garnet smile.

Then she began to think about her Divination Final Exam, and a chill ran up her spine.

She had seen this sunset before.

"Daddy..." Garnet said, trying to keep the tone of panic from her voice.

"Yes darling?" he replied cheerily.

"Can we make a pit stop somewhere?" Garnet made up an excuse to stop, she needed to get them off the road.

Mr. Prince looked at his wife, who nodded, "Of course, we should be coming up on a small town here shortly."

Garnet nodded and sat back, waiting patiently.

Her father turned off the highway and made his way to small area with some restaurants.

He waited at the red light to make a right turn. When his light turned green he started pulling away.

Garnet's stomach turned, and her head hurt immensely.

She knew before she saw the headlights coming at them, that they were in trouble.

George was extremely quiet on the ride home.

"Was it a good movie, Georgie?" Mr. Weasley asked.

"Hmm?" George was caught up in his thoughts, "Oh yes, it was."

"I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself." Mrs. Weasley grinned at him.

George just smiled and stared out the window.

They pulled in to their drive and as they were getting out of the car, Percy comes running out of the house, "Dad! Mr. Diggory's in the fireplace, says it's urgent."

Arthur took off running, Molly and George behind him.

Arthur knelt down in front of the fireplace where Mr. Diggory's head was waiting.

"Amos! What's the matter? I've just gotten home." Arthur asked.

"We need you to head over to St. Mungo's immediately." Amos said, "There's been an accident, and we have had three people sent there. Car collision near Dorchester with a muggle, two people managed to apparate out, but there were muggle witnesses."

The whole family stood back, listening to Mr. Diggory.

"Then shouldn't I head to the scene and take care of the witnesses?" Arthur was confused.

Amos gave him a sad look, "The accident involved Alatar and his family."

Fred grabbed George's arm to steady him.

"I'm going with you!" George said.

"George, no!" Molly gasped. "You don't know what's going on."

Arthur, however, nodded his head, "Come George, we'll take the Floo."

Mr. Weasley stepped into the fireplace, grabbed a handful of powder and called out "St. Mungo's" and he was gone.

George looked at Fred, who pushed him forward, a look of fear on his face.

As he turned around to drop his powder, he saw his mother's face, and began to panic.

"St. Mungo's!" he called out.

George and Arthur sat in a waiting area on rickety looking chairs.

George rocked back and forth, trying to remain calm. They hadn't been given any information when they arrived.

He looked up when he saw Professor Snape arrive.

George jumped up and ran to him. Snape's demeanor was nothing like he had seen at school before. He was anxious, nervous, almost afraid.

"How are they?" Severus asked George, Mr. Weasley sat there confused.

"They won't tell us anything because we're not family, Professor, please, I need to know if she's okay." George pleaded with Snape.

Snape nodded and rushed to the desk. "I was called, my cousin, his wife and daughter were all brought in after a vehicle accident?"

The witch at the desk ushered him through a door immediately.

"Cousin?" Arthur looked at his son in shock. "They're related?"

George nodded, "He's also her Godfather, but keep that to yourself, dad, no one at school knows."

Arthur nodded, still taking in this information.

"Please let her be alright..." George thought to himself over and over again.
