Hello, hello! As promised, I'm trying to update a bit more frequently. This self-quarantine is kicking my butt, but I'm doing my best to not lose my mind. I'm pretty extroverted, so being inside all day every day without seeing some of the people I love is killing me. If you're in the same situation, hit me up on here or on tumblr, let's chat!

Rey finished getting dressed and went to go meet Finn in the mess hall. She was slower than earlier, her training session with Finn had taken its toll on her body. The shower had helped, though. The noise of the mess was almost overwhelming. She had grown accustomed to the solitude on Ach-to with Master Luke, but this was a stark contrast. She quickly grabbed a cup of Caf and a snack from the serving line before scanning the room for her friends. She spotted them at a table in the corner and headed over to join them.

"I see the shower helped," Finn smirked, "ready for round two?"

"Maybe tomorrow," Rey chuckled as she slid into her seat.

"You'd never make it as a stormtrooper," Finn said, shaking his head.

"Yeah, well by my calculations, you didn't make it as a stormtrooper either," Poe teased, lightly elbowing Finn in the ribs.

"Listen, flyboy, I don't know who you think you're coming for, but I know it isn't me," Finn chuckled, "but seriously, do you need a medpac? Because I know a guy."

"It's true. He's still really friendly with the nurses," Poe nodded.

"Rey winced a bit as she rotated her shoulder, "I'm fine. I've been through worse with fighting Ben on various occasions."

"Just fighting?" Finn asked, wiggling his eyebrows at her.

"Finn, tomorrow we'll do lightsaber training and if I go a bit too rough, remember you deserve it," Rey smirked.

"Oh, you're confident that you'll be able to lift the lightsaber tomorrow?" Finn teased.

"You two are worse that fighting siblings," Poe chuckled. He gave Finn's hand a squeeze and moved to get up. "I've got to go train some new pilots for the attack in a few weeks. Try not to kill each other while I'm gone."

"See you later for our usual shenanigans," Finn replied with a wink.

Rey waited until Poe was out of earshot to ask, "Usual shenanigans?"

"Strip Sabacc. You're welcome to join us," Finn offered with a chuckle.

"I think I'll have to pass," Rey said, shaking her head as she sipped her Caf.

"What are you up to for the rest of the day?"

"I think I might meditate or work on my ability to manipulate objects with the force," Rey shrugged.

"Ah, lifting things with the force because you're in too much pain to lift them physically," Finn nodded.

"You're insufferable," Rey smirked as got up to toss her dishes in the used bin. Then she headed back out to the surrounding forest.

Ben got dressed after an ice cold shower. He wasn't sure how much longer he could take it without being able to physically touch her. He set his helmet to the same frequency as the mouse droid so that he could listen in on Hux no matter where he was. He wasn't entirely sure his plan would work, but he needed to try. He made his way through the ship towards the archive room. He dismissed the droid working there, saying that he was looking into some history of the force, but wanting complete privacy to do so. It wasn't a complete lie. He wanted to look into if there were similar instances of relationships like his and Rey's throughout the history of the force. He also wanted to look into nearby star systems that they could potentially see each other on while waiting for the attack. He wasn't sure that it would be a good idea, but he couldn't live with himself if he lost her during that attack without ever holding her the way he wanted to. After studying the maps, he noticed that somewhere, between the two of them, was the planet of Naboo. That could be interesting, he thought. He'd bring it up with Rey later. Then, he pulled every book about the Force off the shelves. He scoured through them for hours, almost ready to give up when he turned the page and read about a prophecy known as a Dyad. It entailed two force sensitive beings who shared a unique bond with each other, connecting their minds over space and time. Ben gently placed the book down on the table in order to take off his helmet. It had suddenly grown too stuffy for his liking. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed. It made sense, and it accounted for... everything. Yet, it also made him doubt his relationship. Did they love each other because they really felt that way, or because they were the dyad? His heart felt heavy. He'd have to tell her about all of this. He needed to see if she was thinking the same thing he was, or if he was just thinking in a way to sabotage his happiness out of guilt.

Rey sat on a boulder in the middle of a forest clearing. She cleared her mind, reaching out to the environment around her. She pictured all the rocks around the clearing in her mind's eye. She slowly exhaled, picturing them all lifting into the air. Slowly, she moved them around the clearing, an intricate dance between the rocks. They arced through the air, some of them spinning, all along to a song only she could hear. She allowed herself a small smile as she slowly opened her eyes to see what she had done, concentrating hard to not have the rocks fall to the ground. She gently set the rocks back down, hearing a smattering of applause coming from behind her.

"That was beautiful, Rey," General Organa smiled.

"Thank you, General," Rey responded, turning to face her. She gently picked up a boulder from across the clearing and placed it next to hers. "Would you like to sit?"

General Organa nodded, crossing the clearing to sit next to her. "Do you think you'll be ready for this?"

"Honestly, General, I don't know. I'm doing the best that I can, but I know that I won't be taking Snoke down alone," Rey smiled.

"My dear, I doubt that you'll ever be alone, no matter what you do," General Organa said with a knowing smile.

"What do you mean?" Rey asked in confusion, "If you're talking about Ben, I know he'll be there for me."

"I don't just mean Ben. You are effectively the last Jedi. All the previous Jedis have led to you. Their power, their force energy, flows in you. You are all the Jedi," General Organa explained. "You will make it through this, my dear, and you will be strong enough and ready enough to do this. Never doubt yourself, and trust in the force. It will guide you to the end." General Organa gently reached over to squeeze Rey's shoulder before getting up to leave. When she reached the edge of the clearing, she turned back to move the boulder back to where Rey had gotten it. "Don't stay out too late. The animals come out at dusk."
