June 10th, 1994 ~

Garnet sat up straight and shook her head to clear her thoughts. She realized she had been sleeping at the Gryffindor table, her head on George's shoulder, while Fred, George, Lee, Angelina, Alicia, Cedric and Adrian were trying to unwind after their first full week of O.W.L.S.

When Garnet sat up quickly, George saw an anxious look on her face.

"Alright, love?" he smiled.

Garnet shook her head. "I need to go find Professor Lupin." She got up and walked out a quickly as possible, leaving everyone confused.

Garnet practically ran to Professor Lupin's office, the remnants of the vision she just had still lingering to her subconscious.

She burst through the door, causing Lupin to jump.

"Professor! You need to go to the Whomping Willow this evening!" she said, still unsure if what she was seeing was accurate.

"Whatever for, Miss Prince?" He looked at her and smirked, chuckling quietly.

Garnet paused. "Did...did you take your Wolfsbane potion yet?" she asked.

Professor Lupin's smile faded. "How did you know? Did Professor Snape divulge that information to you?"

Garnet shook her head. "I saw it in my vision. When the full moon shines you're going to change, and some guy with dark hair is going to try and calm you, but you'll have forgotten to take it."

Lupin stood, "Dark hair?"

"And some stalky guy with beady eyes is going to turn into a rat...Ron's rat, and run away." she was trying to make sense of it.

"Did you see anything else?" Lupin asked.

"Just, Severus, on the ground..." she took a shakey breath, "Please, don't let anything bad happen to him."

Lupin nodded, "I'll make sure he's fine." He was learning not to question Garnet's visions. Professor Trewlany and Snape had both confirmed hers were very accurate.

Satisfied, Garnet left his office. Once gone, Professor Lupin retrieved the Marauders Map from his desk drawer and opened it up.

Garnet walked down the corridor, heading back to the Great Hall, hoping she still had some time with George before dinner.

She turned a corner and ran into someone.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention." She started, then saw Marcus Flints' scowl staring at her.

"You should be more careful Prince." Flint said.

Garnet nodded and tried to go around him, but he stepped to block her path.

"Flint, please move." she said, getting a horrible feeling in her gut.

She moved to the other side but he shuffled to move in front of her again.

"Marcus," she said with a warning tone.

Flint cocked his head to the side and smirked at her. He reached out and touched her shaggy hair, making her turn her face away.

"You know you really should be dating one of your own." he arched a brow suggestively.

Garnet was taken aback. "One of my own?" she asked.

"A Pureblood, a Slytherin," he took a step closer to her.

Garnet held her head up high, "First of all, Flint, George may not be a Slytherin, but he is a Pureblood, and second of all, none of that stuff matters to me."

Marcus kept looking her up and down, stepping closer, making her back up uncomfortably until her back hit the wall.

"Why don't you dump that Blood Traitor and date me? You won't regret it, it might even make you a little more popular." he placed both hands on the wall on of either side of Garnet's shoulders.

"No thank you." Garnet said quickly. "You're not my type."

Marcus narrowed his eyes at her and was getting ready to say something.

"Prince! There you are." Garnet looked over Flint's shoulder and saw the arrogant blonde boy she had tried to avoid for so long. "Come on, Snape's waiting on us."

Marcus straighten up and dropped his hands from the wall, turning to see Draco.

Garnet moved quickly away from Marcus.

"Nice chatting with you Prince." Flint said and walked away.

Draco walked with Garnet a little ways, as she took a quick shaky breath.

"You alright?" Draco asked, watching her.

Garnet nodded, "Yes, thank you Malfoy."

Draco chuckled, "Just call me Draco."

This shocked Garnet. Everyone called him Malfoy.

Then she stopped abruptly, "What do you want?"

He looked at her confused.

"No, I'm not stupid. No body in Slytherin does anything nice or helpful unless they get anything in return." she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Except you." he scoffed.

"I suppose, I never noticed." she said truthfully.

Draco shook his head, "My Father had mentioned that Snapes' Godchild was attending Hogwarts."

Garnet stiffened.

"He's good friends with my father, you see, so they talk." Draco put his hands in his pockets. "Snape already favors me in my Year, figured if I made friends with his Godchild I'd have extra points. Took me a while to figure out it was you, though." he smirked.

"So you helped me to earn brownie points with Severus?" Garnet rolled her eyes.

Draco shrugged. "It would be beneficial to you as well, you know. I can keep Flint from doing that sort of thing again."

Garnet thought about that. Flint and Malfoy were friends, after all.

"You don't have to tell anyone." Malfoy suggested, "I know I won't be telling anyone I've made...acquaintances with you."

"Gee thanks." Garnet rolled her eyes again and started walking towards the Great Hall again.

"Just think about it." he called after her.

After dinner, Garnet followed the other Slytherin back towards the Common Room.

"Miss Prince, a word, please." Professor Snape called.

Garnet nodded and followed him.

They waited until the rest of the Slytherin passed and entered the Common Room.

"I'm pleased to inform you, that you passed your Potions Final with top marks." he gave a small smile.

Garnet grinned, "Oh really?" she said.

Snape nodded, "How have you been? I have not been able to check in on you one on one lately."

Garnet shrugged, "I'm fine, Sev. My episodes have even calmed down."

Snape nodded, "That is good news. I'll let you get back to the Common Room, then."

Garnet turned to leave, but stopped, "Professor, please be careful later when you go to the Whomping Willow. Make sure to disarm the dirty, dark haired guy first." then she turned and headed down the corridor.

Snape watched her walk away. He decided to watch the Whomping Willow for odd happenings the rest of the night.

~June 12, 1994~

After all the excitement on Friday, Harry, Ron and Hermione only told a select few friends about what happened with Sirius Black and Buckbeak, Garnet being one of them.

Sunday afternoon, all the Fifth Years were getting anxious to continue their O.W.L.S. although Percy was making everybody irritated with his studying for his N.E.W.T.S.

The Twins, Garnet, Adrian, Angelina, Alicia, Lee Jordan, Cedric, they were all sitting in the Great Hall studying for this weeks O.W.L.S. Everyone was stressing.

Hermione, Neville, Seamus, Dean, Ginny, Harry and Ron, on crutches, came in and watched everyone with their noses in books.

"I love to study, but this is a bit too intense for me." Hermione crossed her arms.

"Ay, Dean, you got any more of that tea yer mum sent ya to help you relax?" Seamus asked his friend.

"Yeah, that really helped me." Neville said.

"I think so, probably just enough for this lot." Dean ran to the Common Room and brought down his tea pot and the tea his mother sent. He put the pot over the fire to warm it.

Harry looked at his watch. "Dinner is going to be starting in about fifteen minutes, guys, maybe you should think about putting up the books for now." he suggested to the group.

Garnet nodded and closed her book. Fred and George followed suit and soon everyone was packing up their books.

Dean grabbed the tea pot as the plates and cups began appearing on the tables.

"Here guys, this should help you guys relax and calm down a bit." he poured tea into a couple mugs. The Fifth Years all decided to give it a try.

"Mmm..." Alicia said, "That tastes interesting, what is it?" she took another sip.

Dean shrugged, "I dunno, my mum just sent it. It's some sort of fruit I think."

Garnet finished hers and took a deep breath. "As long as the 'relaxing' part starts soon, I'm good." She grinned.

Everyone filed in around the table and waited for dinner to begin.

Garnet had just about finished her dinner, everyone was waiting for dessert to be served, when she began to feel strange, like she felt an aura or something, around her. She glanced at her bracelet, which was rapidly changing colors.

She got up, almost tripping over her bag, and moved as quickly as she could towards the doors.

George, concerned, followed after her, with Fred not too far behind them.

George caught her outside the Great Hall, just down the corridor a few feet.

"Garnet! Where are you going in such a rush? Are you okay?" he grabbed her elbow and stopped her.

Garnet tried to pull away but he wouldn't let go. He was worried. Even more so when he saw the frantic look on her face.

She was panicking. "Please, George, please, let me go." she was out of breath.

"Garnet, I want to help you but you have to tell me what's wrong." he pulled her in for a hug.

Garnet tried to pull away, but she felt it, it was too late. Her breath caught in her throat as she lost focus.

George felt Garnet's entire body tense up and a breathy cry escaped her lips. He pulled away to look at her, but had to grab her before she hit the floor. George laid her down quickly. Her eyes were unfocused, she wasn't breathing right, and then she began convulsing.

"Garnet?! Garnet!" he didn't want to touch her. George looked up to his brother, who stood with panic on his face as well. "Get Snape!" George shouted at him.

Fred nodded and burst back through the door of the noisy Great Hall.

"Professor Snape!" Fred shouted, making the hall quiet down, and the teachers all look up Fred, standing with a look of horror on his face.

Snape's heart stopped. He stood quickly. "Keep the students in the Great Hall." he instructed Minerva.

Snape ran through the students, following Fred into the corridor.

He stopped when he saw Garnet, convulsing on the floor, George knelt over her, frantically talking to her.

Snape quickly got down beside Garnet. He could see her jaw clenched, saliva was coming out the corners of her mouth, and she looked very pale.

George touched Garnet's hand.

"Don't touch her Mr. Weasley, it's best to take a step back, as long as there's nothing around for her to get hurt on." Snape took a deep breath. "I'm here Garnet, you're going to be alright."

"Is she really going to be okay?" George was on the verge of tears.

"It's just a seizure. She'll be fine, just give her some space." Snape watched the convulsions start to die down, but she wasn't breathing right. He rolled her onto her side, and rubbed up and down her back. "You're safe Garnet, breath, you're alright."

George watched as Snape handled everything. Then it dawned on him, Snape acts as though he's seen this behavior before.

"What...what caused this?" George asked.

Snape sighed. "She's epileptic." He knew he'd regret telling him that once Garnet had regained consciousness.

"Epileptic?" George said the word. "Does this sort of thing happen often?"

Garnet had quit thrashing about, so Snape leaned down to listen to her breathing. He furrowed his brows, then sniffed her face.

"Schizandra berries? Here?" He looked up at George. "Did she eat a fruit?"

George shook his head, "She drank some of Dean Thomas' calming tea. It had a fruity flavor."

Snape shook his head. "Blasted, Garnet, Schizandra can increase the frequency of seizures."

"Does this happen often?" George tried again.

Snape relaxed when Garnet began breathing again, still ignoring George's question.

"Garnet?" George took a shaky breath.

"Give her a minute, she may not be fully aware of her surroundings yet." Snape said.

George watched as the girl he loved tried to focus on things around her.

"Severus?" Garnet took a deep breath.

"You're alright Garnet. Haven't had a bad one like that in a while, I'm sure." Snape placed a hand over hers. "Tell me where you're at."

George was confused, but sat back and watched.

"I'm... I'm at Hogwarts. I was, at Dinner." Garnet said slowly.

"Who am I?" he asked the questions, just like they always did after a seizure.

"Severus," Garnet said a little more confidently.

"Very good, who is that?" he pointed to George, then regretted it. He saw the look of panic wash over her face.

Garnet sat up abruptly, and slid towards Snape.

George watched as her eyes began to brim with tears.

"No..." she sobbed quietly. "I didn't want him to s-see me like this."

"Garnet," George shook his head, "I love you, I don't care."

Garnet took a quick breath. "You what?"

"I..." it was too late now, he said it once, he bit the bullet and said it again, "I love you."

Garnet reached for him. He pulled her into his chest. George just held her as tight as he could, until he felt her go limp in this arms.

"Garnet?" he looked up at Snape in a panic, who shook his head gently.

"I'm so tired." she closed her eyes and laid her head against his chest.

"Garnet, we can take you to Madame Pomfrey's until the tea has left your system, just in case." Snape suggested, then moved to pick her up from George.

George pulled her tighter into his chest, "I've got her." he insisted.

Snape watched as George stood and carried Garnet, whose head was still on his chest, towards the Hospital Wing, his brother right behind them.

"Yes..." Snape said to no one in particular. "I'm sure you three have much to discuss."
