Hey guys, sorry it's been so long and I hope you are all staying safe during this horrible time. I just wanted to give you a little feel good update to help keep you entertained and I'll try to post some more over the coming days. Thanks as always and reviews and likes are obviously always appreciated.

It had been six months since that night and tomorrow Sasha and Charlie would marry in the garden of the Burrow just as Bill and Fleur had done all that time okay during the war. The past few months had been a whirlwind of excitement and organising whilst still keeping up with Sasha's recovery and also trying to find somewhere to live and sort out but they were happy and that is all that mattered and right now Charlie was at Bill's cottage spending the night there with Bill and Fleur until he could marry her tomorrow whilst Sasha spent her last night before officially becoming a Weasley at the Burrow with the rest of the family, although all men had been barred from the upper floors of the house until the wedding was over.

"Hey little brother how you feeling?" Bill asked as he walks into the kitchen and sees Charlie standing by the sink and gazing out of the window towards the ocean.

"Huh, oh yeah just thinking about tomorrow," he replies absently and Bill smiles as he moves to put the kettle on, motioning for Charlie to sit at the table as he does so.

"You having second thoughts?" he teases and Charlie scowls at him immediately whilst still somehow looking petrified and Bill lets out a laugh as places a mug of steaming tea in front of him.

"Never," he says so vehemently that Bill pauses for a second before he sits down too.

"Not long now mate, she'll be a part of our family for real this time tomorrow," he says quietly and Charlie laughs a bit.

"She was always a part of our family I think. From the second she met the twins and from the first moment that she fell through our fire place at the burrow," he comments to his older brother and Bill nods before getting up and pulling something out from one of the cupboards.

"Present for you, to wish you luck on the big day," he explains as he hands it to his younger brother with a smile.

"Where did you get this?" Charlie asks his eyes shinning with love as he looks up at his older brother before staring back down at the picture in his hands. In a beautiful bronze frame sat the image of her sitting against the tree with the sun setting behind her, the sky a myriad of beautiful oranges and reds and purples but she still stands out, even in silhouette. Her face turned upwards slightly, her long hair moving gently in the breeze before something catches her attention and she turns towards the camera, her white teeth just visible in the shadows as she smiles. It was many months ago that Charlie had found himself caught by the sight of her sitting there under their tree. He'd made a big decision that night, one that changed both of their lives.

"I watched you go out that night a while after the twins came back inside. I saw you stop and stare and I could tell what you thought and I couldn't help myself, the camera was next to me and it felt a little serendipitous so I grabbed it and took the picture," Bill smiles, pleased that his brother liked the gift.

"It's perfect, thank you so much, it just, it sums her up for me, how I feel about her, you know?" he frowns and Bill chuckles a little as he nods his head, slapping his brother on the shoulder.

"Right well, now that's done time to head to bed I think, you've got a wedding to get to in the morning little brother, let's not keep your beautiful bride waiting by oversleeping or turning up looking like a zombie," he grins and Charlie smiles back at him even as his stomach twists with nervous energy.

The day dawns bright and sunny despite the early summer nip still being in the air and the Burrow is a hive of activity. As soon as the sun is peaking over the trees Mrs Weasley could be heard shouting instructions as various members of the family scurried around obeying her orders. Once the wedding marque is up and ready Arthur and Harry together with Ron head off to Shell cottage to meet up with Charlie and Bill whilst the women and the twins stay behind at the Burrow. Sasha is washed and scrubbed and primped and premed in ways she had never been in her life. I mean, she had spent her formative years running around with the twins concocting potions and pranks and keeping them out of trouble she hardly had time to worry about makeup or anything like that.

"Is this really necessary?" she asks as Hermione and Ginny use a series of complicated charms to keep her hair in a delicately curled up do, little flowers in pinks and purples holding it together, flowers that matched the bouquet that was sitting on the side.

"Of course it is, Charlie isn't going to know what's hit him," Ginny laughs and both Sasha and Hermione roll their eyes a little at her.

"Charlie loves me whether I'm dressed up or covered in dragon dung," Sasha says and both of the girls laugh.

"Very true my brother did always have strange taste," Ginny replies before yelping and dodging out of the way as Sasha tries to launch herself at her but is hindered by the mass of dress in her way.

"You're lucky I don't have my wand on me missy," she smirks back and Hermione laughs at them both before getting them back on track and packing Sasha into her dress.

By the time she is ready to make her way to the back garden for the ceremony she is fairly certain she never wands to see another dress or pair of high heels again.

"Come on they're wait…" Fred's voice trails off as he rounds the corner with his twin and they both stare in open mouthed shock at their best friend.

"Sash, you look beautiful," George manages after a moments silence and she blushes as she ducks her head.

"Do you think Charlie will like it?" she asks and they both laugh as they move to stand directly in front of her.

"Sash," Fred starts with a cheeky grin and she knows they are about to do their usual,

"Our third part," George whispers from her other side.

"Charlie," Fred picks up,

"Would love you," her head swings back round to George,

"Even if you turned up," she is starting to feel dizzy as she spins back to Fred again, she hated it when they did this standing either side of her.

"Covered in dragons dung," George finishes and she bursts into uncontrollable giggles, doubling over as she laughs.

"That's exactly what I told Ginny and Hermione when they were putting all this rubbish on me," she manages at last and they both grin at her.

"See Sash, I always told you that you were basically just an extension of us, our third part," Fred smiles as he pulls her into a tight hug. "I love you Sash, you have always been my sister and now, in a few minutes I'll get to call you that for real,"he whispers and now she has tears in her eyes again.

"I love you too, and I've never been so glad I saved you," she whispers back with a little grin.

"Come on then, let's get you to your dragon tamer before he comes and hunts us down," George laughs, although his eyes are looking suspiciously glassy too as he takes her arm and together the twins lead her down and out of the house into the garden where she pauses for a second to gaze in wonder at the marque.

There is a hush that descends as they enter. For a moment everything is silent and still as she enters the marque and makes eye contact with Charlie. She knew everyone else was there, that all her friends, her family, everyone she loved was there but she could see no one but him. He was so handsome it almost hurt her to look at him and it steals the breath from her lungs as she sees the love in his eyes. How could she have missed that devotion for all those years? She had loved him for so long that she was struggling to believe she wasn't dreaming.

"Hi," she whispers as she reaches him and he looks at her in silence for a long moment before moving forward and kissing her deeply.

"You look like an angel," he murmurs into her lips as she blushes fiercely, her flush deepening as the twins start laughing behind her.

"The kiss is supposed to happen at the end big brother," Fred quips which has half the congregation chuckling too.

"Well can you blame me," Charlie responds sheepishly, stepping back a little and taking her hands in his.

The ceremony is perfect and Kingsley who is conducting it for them stops to allow them to say their own vows which causes another hush after a loud murmur of whispers. Sasha steps forward first clearing her throat nervously before looking up into Charlie's eyes.

"When I was feeling completely alone and lost you were there. When I felt like I had nothing left I always had this family. You stood by me through the darkest times in my life and you helped me find myself again. I love you more than anything, I have loved you for so long and I promise to never stop loving you and to never stop being the best I can for you," she finishes breathlessly, a blush on her cheeks her hands gripping his tightly and he smiles gently at her.

"Sasha, my little dragon tamer, you are my soul mate, you have been everything to me for so much longer than I knew. You have always been the bravest and smartest person that I know, you always figured out everything first and sorted it out first, including us," he starts pausing as a chuckle ripples round the crowd. "You make me a better man, a stronger man and most importantly you make me a kinder and calmer man. I have never been good with people, until you, somehow you make me stronger too and I love you more than I thought it possible to love anyone. I promise you that I will spend every moment of the rest of my life making sure you are safe and happy. I love you," he finishes and she is aware that at least she isn't the only one crying. Mrs Weasley's sobs getting louder as the bonding charms are performed.

"Well little sister, I can finally call you that officially," Bill smiles as he pulls her into his arms for a dance a few hours later and she looks up at him with a beaming smile.

"I've smiled so much today my face is starting to hurt," she laughs and he laughs with her, his heart warming to see her so blissfully happy.

"How are you feeling my little whirlwind?" he asks quietly and she looks up at him for a while as they sway to the music and she glances over to where Charlie is dancing and drinking with his other brothers, Harry being pulled away by Ginny for a dance and Hermione sitting with Kingsley and talking earnestly about something.

"I never thought I could be this happy Bill," she whispers after a while, "when I lost dad and then… everything with Cedric and mum, I thought, I thought I was being punished for something and then when Charlie told me he loved me," she breaks off and rests her head against his chest as she thinks about what she is saying for a moment. "I thought that if I ever got married that I would have this cloud of sadness hanging over me but it's different, it's like they're happy for me, like I can feel them but for the first time it doesn't make me sad," she finishes and he smiles gently at her, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, his hand cupping her cheek briefly.

"Sash, you have always been my sister and my best friend and I have always been proud of you but I have never been prouder of anyone than of you right now," he whispers before kissing her on the forehead and handing her back to her husband who had appeared behind her.
