A/N: Hi everyone!
Here is a chapter in the middle of this crisis. I hope for everyone to stay healthy and not to become crazy or depressive. Staying at home—for those who have to—can be hard, so reading is a good way to fight boredom and negative thought, as well as making you travel without moving.
This chapter takes place right after the last one. As a reminder, Korra and Asami left the mansion to give a little time to our young ladies.(We have a little more Korrasami here! Let's say it's half Korrami, half Isolina and Reena. I hope you'll like it!)
Now, enjoy!
"What now? When can we go back?" Korra asked.
She and Asami were sitting on the side of a terrace, enjoying the weather while sipping a cocktail.
Her wife had explained to her the reason behind their hasty departure and it had made her laugh. Besides, thinking about it, she had never had this problem with Asami for sadly obvious reasons.
But now, it had certainly been an hour since they had left, and... the situation bothered her a little.
"I don't know," Asami replied. "Maybe I should have given a time limit…"
"Maybe, you should have indeed. Because if they take it seriously, I'm not even sure that we can go home tonight."
"You're exaggerating."
"Wait, you're the one telling me this?"
Her wife took a sip of her cocktail and ignored her. But Korra wanted to let her know that she had absolutely no right to make these kinds of remarks.
"As a reminder, the sleepless night that you made me spend in the South Pole almost made us miss a super ancestral tradition!"
"It was very cold."
"Oh right, that sure is a very good excuse for the tigress inside of you!"
"We arrived on time, we slept very well, and it was not a sleepless night."
Korra stared at her.
"What?"
"I can tell: it was a sleepless night."
"It wasn't. At all."
"Whatever you want. But if you consider that you hadn't let go of me all the afternoon, it was a sleepless night!"
Asami smiled a little mischievously at this memory. Maybe yes, maybe... But they were young and fiery, they could afford it.
Noticing her smirk, Korra could only blurt out:
"Ha ha! You're caught red-handed!"
"Oh stop it. You loved it. I didn't force you! If you weren't so proud, we could have stopped much sooner. But supposedly, Ma'am had energy to spare."
"And I did manage. Until the very end."
Asami laughed.
"That's true," she admitted with some tenderness.
"So, what do we do now?" Korra reiterated.
The businesswoman thought for a moment, then smiled again which frightened Korra a little.
"What if we don't go back home?" she suggested.
"Do you want to go to the Air Temple, or…?"
"We can find a hotel and repeat this sleepless night all over again. What do you think?" she purred.
"I think we're getting to be too old for this kind of physical feats."
"We aren't even retirement age yet! It's not because we are over twenty years old that we should stop... It would be sad if that was the case."
Korra laughed.
"You're right."
"That's a yes?" Asami asked slyly.
Korra looked sideways at her, trying to understand her intentions. Was she really serious?
"I'll pay," she added.
Well, yes, apparently, she was serious! Asami got up and Korra observed her doing so.
"What are you doing?" she asked.
"I'm trying to get you to agree with my plan."
Korra gave her a funny look, looking like she was saying: "really?" Asami just put money on the bar table before joining her wife and slipping her hand into hers. She approached her ear to whisper sweet words to her. When she stepped back, she could see a spark of interest in the blue-eyed gaze. Oh yes, she was going to make her like the idea...
She ended up alluring her to a hotel nearby. The night was going to be long...
—
At the Sato Mansion, Isolina and Reena woke up a few minutes after falling asleep, a little surprised to have both dozed off, but they had to admit that it was awfully comfortable.
"I like it," Isolina said, smiling as she snuggled closer to her girlfriend.
"What do you like?"
"This."
"Hmm... Do you like having sex or sleeping together?"
Isolina chuckled a little. It could be confusing indeed.
"Both. But right now, I was talking about waking up next to you."
"I like it too. Both, huh. You know what? After high school, maybe we could live together!"
"Together? You would leave the Air Temple Island?"
"Yes!"
"That's cute. But I don't think we can…"
"Oh… you want to keep living with Korra and Asami? I mean, I understand... they are your mothers and they've always protected you…"
"No, that's not it... I... may have to leave…"
"What?" Reena was alarmed. "Where?"
"To the Water Tribes. I don't know whether I'll go up north or in the south yet, but they have very famous masters who teach healing... I think it's for the best."
"But… when were you going to talk to me about it?"
"There's nothing definitive yet. Besides, you know I've always wanted to be a healer…"
"One of the best, I know yes. You're already one of the best, by the way…"
"Maybe I am, but... I can still improve. I do everything by instinct but I could be more effective if I learned a little more about the human body and the healing techniques. Reena... it's my dream—to heal people, to use my bending to fix things rather than kill... You know that, right?"
"I know, I know... It doesn't really matter anyway…"
"What do you mean?"
This time, it was Isolina's turn to worry: what if Reena suddenly decided to leave her and said that it wasn't worth it to have a long-distance relationship? She saw her sat up straight, then she looked deep in her girlfriend's transparent blue gaze with her green eyes.
"I'll come with you," she said solemnly. "No matter where you go. I'll come with you and I'll always be there for you. I want us to always be together."
"But… what about your studies? And your family?"
"They'll understand... Plus, I'm an airbender. We were nomads, and today we travel the world to help people, so I can travel around the North Pole and the South Pole to help people. I'll still do my job and I can train with you."
"You'd really do that?"
"Of course... No way we let anything separate us now."
Isolina was impressed. She knew Reena was very determined when she wanted something—she was still amused when thinking about the day they had met—but the fact that she was willing to do all that for her was immensely charming and greatly moved her, it moved her as much as it was possible to be moved.
She couldn't answer, or even form a semblance of a coherent answer in her head, as the green-eyed girl swooped down to kiss her. Then, it wasn't enough and, still crazy because of her previous feats, she began to stroke Isolina's skin; the younger girl shuddered.
"Mmmm... uh... wait, hold on!" she stopped her. "I thought you were exhausted?"
"We just took a nap."
"And you want to do it again?"
"Absolutely!"
"But… wait... When do my mothers come back home?"
"How am I supposed to know? I saw Asami, I told her that we needed some privacy, then she told me something like "have fun!" before running off with Korra. She didn't really say anything to me concerning their return…"
"You're really incredible, did you really say that to her this way?"
"More or less... But it's not like we care, right?"
"What surprises me the most is that she accepted without saying anything…"
Reena ignored her and kissed her on the neck, running a hand over her breast.
"Reena! But what if they come back? Or if they're already back?"
"They already know what we're doing, so what does it change if they hear us or not?"
It wasn't wrong… And then... No, having her against her like that was definitely not bearable. She couldn't honestly fight the desire that had started blooming inside of her. So she gave in completely and got the upper hand over Reena, telling her in a teasing voice:
"Do you want me to show you other things?"
To her surprise, the airbender wasn't in the least taken aback and turned her over to be over her, when she answered her with a provocative air:
"What if I discovered them all by myself instead?"
"Okay…"
"Okay? Are you serious? You agree to be a test subject just like that?"
"What's the point of having firsts if not for testing things? You can go on. I'm all yours."
"But…"
"What? You're changing your mind?"
"That's not it! It's that I... may be clumsy... And if I hurt you, or if you don't like it…"
"It doesn't matter."
Reena frowned. Seeing her perplexed, Isolina then continued wrapping her arms around her neck.
"I really didn't want to show you my back, it makes me very uncomfortable, but now I'm fine. It's because it's you. You can do what you want. My body is yours. And since you absolutely wanted to discover it entirely... learn it. Memorize it, learn me, my feelings, my reactions... I want you to know me completely, as you always have."
"Okay…"
Convinced by her words, Reena explored her body, paced her with a thousand kisses and a thousand caresses, letting her lips taste her skin, her tongue run through her… She used all her senses, her whole body and all her sensitivity .
Isolina let her do it, completely and entirely, savoring all her affection and not forgetting to give it back to her.
This is how the afternoon ended.
"At least we could have slept," Korra complained as she got back into the mansion.
"It's already nine…"
"Remind me: what time did we go to sleep?"
"You're exaggerating."
"And you never take into consideration my sleep when you make me spend this kind of nights. You'll be warned: I'll take revenge."
"Mmmm… I'll be looking forward to it…"
"Stop sounding interested! It's supposed to be a threat!"
"O great Avatar, how afraid I am of the terrible punishment you reserve for me!"
During their discussion, Asami walked toward their room and Korra followed her. In fact she wasn't much interested in their room but in the one next door.
Korra was about to grumble again but she stopped dead when she saw Asami standing in front of their daughter's room looking like she was an expert spy.
"May I know what you're doing?" she asked, positioning herself behind her and crossing her arms.
"Shhh," she said, with a finger on her mouth.
She put her hand on the handle in order to open the door.
"Hey! Stop that!" the blue-eyed woman whispered, indignant.
"You're going to make me be spotted, shut up."
"It wouldn't be that bad! You're being very intrusive on their privacy!"
"It's fine, I'm her mother... And I've known the other one since she was a little girl."
"But what if they are naked?"
"It won't be the first time I see them naked…"
"Asami…"
"Now hush," she ordered.
She turned the handle gently and Korra couldn't say anything as if holding her breath.
The green-eyed woman looked out the doorway for just a moment. She smiled, then closed the door before heading to her own room. She kept that smile on her face without saying anything.
Her wife followed her with a dazed look. That was all? And... But what did she want exactly? And then, what was it with that goofy smile?
"So?" the Avatar asked.
"Ah, you're being curious now?"
"Yes. I mean, no! I'm just wondering about what you saw: what's making you smile so much?"
"They're just sleeping."
"Okay… And what about that?"
"And nothing. I'm happy, that's all."
"You're hiding something from me…"
"Not at all! Can't I be happy for my daughter?"
"You can… I guess…"
"Then, that's it."
Asami began to take a shower and change her clothes. Korra let her do so, thinking a little about what had just happened. It felt very weird to her. She had never seen Asami be this happy when Isolina dated someone.
Korra wasn't one to try to meddle in these matters, but she knew that Asami had been very worried in the past. And now she was just calm. It was... new. Even troubling... But well that was probably a good thing. A very good thing.
—
Isolina woke up slowly. She tried to open her eyes, but the light was extremely bright. Oh no, she didn't want to open them. Might as well stay in bed for a while...
However, something bothered her. After a moment, she realized that a breath was second to hers and that there was a weight beside her, a warmth very close to her. But... yet she was at home, right? No one stayed at her house for the night. But... wait a second...
She finally opened her eyes, noticing Reena sumptuously lying on her back, breathing calmly. One of her arms was folded over her bare chest and the other... oh, Isolina was more or less using it as a cushion.
She sat up, wondering if she had interrupted her blood flow. Apparently not, otherwise she would have moved...
The young waterbender leaned on her elbows and watched her girlfriend sleep. She held back a chuckle. It felt very weird to her that Reena was in her bed. Even waking up next to someone was weird. She had... avoided so far. But Reena... She was so happy that she found it hard to just sit there, silently, gazing at her.
Eventually, a sly smile blossomed on her face and she couldn't help putting an end to the sleeping beauty's sleep.
She approached her a bit like a wild beast would approach its prey.
"Hey, sleepyhead," she called softly.
The brown-haired girl groaned a little, making an adorable pout, and Isolina was completely softened. Maybe she should let her sleep...
Her girlfriend rolled to the side, facing her without knowing it. Isolina took a little height, putting herself just above her ear.
"Reena, I love you..." she whispered to her.
There was another grunt as she pulled away. She saw Reena trying to open her eyes and she smiled.
"Isolina?" the latter said, still sleepy.
She tried to open her eyes more distinctly. When it was done, she noticed the blue-eyed girl's bright smile, but also...
"Oh, you're completely naked."
Isolina laughed and rushed over to kiss her.
"Wow, that sure is one way of waking up," the young airbender noted.
Her girlfriend giggled again, kissing her lips lightly.
"I love you too, by the way," Reena replied. "It wasn't a dream, was it?"
"No, it wasn't…"
"Neither was yesterday?"
"Neither was yesterday."
She rolled against Isolina, taking her in her arms, resting against her skin. They remained entwined for a moment.
"What time is it?" Reena asked after a moment.
"Past ten."
"Already?"
"You slept a lot…"
"More than I thought... Maybe I'll have to go... My parents will worry…"
"We can have breakfast together before you go."
"It would be nice…"
However, they did not move. Reena ended up sighing.
"Is it normal that I still want you?"
Isolina chuckled.
"I think it is. But we'd better get up or you're not going to leave…"
Was it really a problem? Isolina decided that she was, since she pulled herself out of the embrace and got up, starting to dress. Reena watched her do so, admiring the body she had been able to completely possess for a whole night. She looked at the scar too. She noticed that Isolina continued to put on her top first, as if to hide it as quickly as possible. She didn't know if she was going be able to make her stop that. Oh and then, it didn't really matter. As long as she didn't hide it from her anymore.
Finally, Reena also got up and got dressed and they went down to the kitchen, where Asami was reading a newspaper.
"Hello, Mum," Isolina said, coming to her side to kiss her.
"Hello girls. Slept well?"
"Very well. Where's Mom?"
"She went to bed."
"At ten in the morning?"
"We went to bed late yesterday, and I apparently woke her up too early."
"Ah? What did you do yesterday night? You watched a mover? There are quite a few that are pretty good these days."
"Um… No... We thought it would be good for you to have the mansion all for yourselves, so we decided to find a hotel not far from the Harmony Tower."
"A hotel? Really?"
"We had a lot of fun…"
"I understand better why she went back to bed…"
She saw a slight malicious smile on her mother's face and sighed laughingly.
The two young women ate breakfast, Asami did not interfere in the conversation, then Isolina accompanied her girlfriend to the door. She gave her one last kiss and the latter went away.
No sooner had she closed the door than she felt someone hugging her from behind.
"Mum? What are you doing exactly?" she asked between curiosity and misunderstanding.
"Hugs prohibited?" she replied.
"No but why?"
"I'm happy. I'm very happy. Say, can you answer a question?"
"What question?"
Asami turned to face her. She took her daughter's hands in hers and put a lock of her black hair behind her ear.
She had grown so much... She was an adult now. Almost.
"You remember when you were little, you didn't really understand how two women could be together. And you always asked us if we loved each other as if the answer was going to change."
"Yes…"
"I'll ask you the same question: do you love her?"
"Yes. More than I have ever loved."
"I know. I'm glad for this."
"You knew, huh... All this time... The others…"
"Let's say I suspected it. I'm your mother, remember?"
"I love you, Mum."
"I love you too, Isolina."
She took her in her arms and the young woman enjoyed this moment.
"What's going on here?" Korra asked, coming towards the entrance, rubbing her neck, still sleepy.
Isolina then separated from her mother to walk to her other mother and hug her.
"I love you, Mom."
"Me too but…"
She couldn't even voice her lack of understanding because her daughter hugged her tightly before kissing her furtively on the cheek. Okay, well, she couldn't understand a thing... She looked at Asami, she looked at Isolina. Both had a discreet smile and their eyes had a particularly touching shade, like a very light spring air, a gentle breeze, a sweet but light flavor. She didn't know what was going on, why these emotions had suddenly arisen, but it didn't matter. They were happy, that was all that mattered. And she was very happy to see them happy.
A/N: So, what did you think about it? You can tell me! I'll be happy to hear from you and to answer!
As for the latest news: next chapter is the last one. It's like an epilogue of some sorts, so you can expect some ellipses (but the end is so cool. At least, I'm pretty much proud of it). I don't know when it'll be up. It's mostly over but has to be corrected by my beta. However, it's quite long, and he's quite busy. (I'm truly thankful he does help me giving the context.)
As for the little stories that are related to this story, it's not super sure, but I would rather publish them separately in a sort of collection and link it to the main. This way, the main story can be "complete" and I can add as many little stories as I want. (Yeah, not sure I want to completely give up this story now. There are parts that could be quite interesting to develop.) I'll fully decide when I publish next chapter.
In the meantime, I wish you all to be okay and take care of yourselves. Ah, and also to have fun and talk with people full of humor ;) We need that. Always.
See you later!

no name guest : Hi!
Thank you very much for your review! I'm glad you liked this chapter!
Concerning your opinion on the side stories, it does matter to me, but I don't think it's really convenient for the reasons said above. I'll make sure I can make them accessible before doing anything. I hope it won't bother you too much, but I really want to put an end to this story as a story on its own.
Thank you again! See you!
