A/n: thinking of rewriting the story. It had about 72 followers which I think is quite impressive.
I think it would be really fun to write this in my 'developed' style and make it a little less cringy and more readable. I still am proud of this story, but it might be time for a little re-touch.
ANYWAYS HERE IS A SHORT CHAPTER FOR ANYONE STILL INTERESTED. DKSKSKSK
Please if you are still interested in this story please leave a message so I can tell if anyone still actually reads this :)

"She just knocked on your door?" She asked.
"She did." She replied.
"She confessed everything?" She asked more intrigued.
"She did."
"She's only eighteen?"
"She is." Marinette said defeatedly. She was sitting in the café only an hour or two later, it had already been closing time when Chloe had let her in.
Chloe looks even more terrified than the first time Marinette had told the story. "Nathanael is such a bastard."
Marinette can feel her lower lip starting to tremble a little. "She was really pretty too." She says quietly. She feels incredulous and, somehow, even more insecure than she had ever felt before.
"Mari, please, you are one of the prettiest women alive, besides Vanessa." Chloe said dreamily.
Marinette rolled her eyes, barely ten seconds ago they were having a normal conversation, until Chloe fell back into a lovestruck delight.
"You really do love her, don't you?" Marinette asked with a chuckle.
"Have you seen her though?" Chloe gushed. "She's so beautiful, and intelligent, and talented." She said with a sigh.
Marinette couldn't help but let out a laugh, tension finally leaving a little. "Never would've thought Chloe Bourgeois actually had a heart." She joked.

Talking to Chloé didn't actually get Marinette any further, if anything, it had made her more confused.
