August 21, 1994 ~

Garnet was helping Ginny and Hermione gather the dinnerware, waiting for Mr. Weasley, Ron, Fred and George to get back with Harry.

It didn't take long before they heard the Twins laughing, and Ron kept looking at them asking "What did you two do?"

Then they heard Harry. All Garnet picked up was something about "His tongue was huge!"

The girls followed the laughter.

"Ah, Love, you should have seen it." George put his arm around Garnet's shoulder and kissed her on the cheek. "Fred dropped a Ton-Tongue-Toffee on the floor..."

"George! You didn't!" Garnet looked at him in shock. "Do you know what you could have done?"

Just then Mr. Weasley came back, his face red with anger.

Garnet kissed George on the cheek, and headed back to the kitchen with the girls. "Good luck."

George tried to hold onto her sleeve and pull her back, but she shook her head and walked away.

They could hear Mr. Weasley hollaring from the other room... but then Mrs. Weasley was heard, and Garnet cringed.

When it was all over, George and Fred came to help the girls with the dinnerware, both looking quite deflated.

Everyone went outside and watched as Bill and Charlie were playing around with the tables, making them fly around and such.

"Boys, please, if you wish to eat tonight, we need to set the table." Garnet teased.

Charlie grinned at her and set his table down. He walked over and gave Garnet a hug.

"Your ears quit ringing yet?" he asked her.

Harry looked at Garnet curiously, "What happened that your ears were ringing?"

"Oh," Garnet shook her head, "A Weasley's Wizard Wheezes potion got too hot, and I happened to be sitting right next to it when it exploded."

"She's lucky just the sleeve of her shirt caught fire," Ginny shook her head disapprovingly at her brothers.

"And it caused some minor hearing loss and ringing for a couple days." Ron added in.

"I'm fine now," Garnet shrugged.

Harry looked at the Twins, who looked full of regret over the story their siblings were relaying.

"I said I'm fine now," Garnet made eye contact with George, then Fred, and held until they both nodded.

Ron inched closer to Harry said quietly, "I sometimes reckon she's got a spell over on them," he chuckled.

Charlie snuck up behind the two of them laughing and whispered, "It's called adoration and respect." He ruffled both of their hair and smiling, gathered chairs to fit around the table.

Dinner ended and the gang hang out in the garden. Ginny had brought out a blanket that everyone could lay on under the stars.

Fred laid down with his hands behind his head, Garnet laid her head on his stomach, and George's head was on her stomach. Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny all lounged about as well.

"See what I mean," Ron said to Harry, and motioned towards the Trio with his head, "Weird, right?"

"Ronald Weasley," Hermione scolded, "I think it's sweet. They're comfortable together."

Ginny gave him the evil eye as well.

Garnet took a deep breath. George got up on his elbow. "You know the only bad part of laying like this is I have to sit up to talk to you." he teased.

Garnet's cheeks got red.

"You could trade me placed, Georgie," Fred suggested.

George leaned down and gave Garnet a quick kiss, "Nah, if anyone should be laying this close to my girlfriends chest, it should probably be me." He laughed as Garnet swatted at him.

Garnet grinned as she settled back down on Fred, and George on her.

She was pointing out some stars to the entire group, when she felt funny.

Garnet took a deep breath when she realized she was about to have a seizure right there, in the garden, in front of everybody, half of which didn't know about her epilepsy.

George felt it first, Garnet's body went tense. He sat up and looked at her, but her eyes were unfocused.

"Freddie, get up," he lifted Garnet's head off his brother, "Ron, go grab a cushion from the couch."

"What's going..." Ron started.

"NOW!" George shouted. Ron didn't argue, he got up and ran in the house, now everyone was watching George and Fred trying to keep their calm, as Garnet went into convulsions.

Ron handed the pillow to Fred, who placed it under Garnet's head, then the Twins backed off a bit.

Mr. and Mrs. Weasley came rushing out with Bill and Charlie.

"Is she alright?" Charlie asked.

"She'll be fine, just everybody please back off." George said. "I'm here Garnet, you're safe." he quietly said to her.

When he noticed the shaking subsiding, he rolled her onto her side and began rubbing her back, just as he has watched Snape do. "Breath Garnet," he repeated the words he heard in his mind, "Just breath, you're alright."

Mr. and Mrs. Weasley couldn't be more proud of the way the Twins, especially George, handled the situation.

When finally Garnet's breathing returned to normal and she was looking up at George, he started asking the same questions Snape did, "What is your name?" She didn't answer him, so he asked again, "What is your name?"

Garnet looked at him for a moment, "Garnet."

"What is my name?" he asked.

"George," she said a little more self assured.

"Do you know where you are?" he asked.

"I'm in your mums garden." her voice wavered, she was trying to avoid eye contact with anyone else, as tears threatened the corners of her eyes. George sighed.

"It's alright, Love," he sat her up slowly.

Mrs. Weasley had run in the house and came back out with a glass of water for Garnet.

Mr. Weasley ushered the rest of the crew into the house.

"What caused her to have a fit?" Ron murmured to his friends.

"It's called a seizure, Ron," Hermione whispered, "they happen for lots of reasons."

"I've watched her have one before, in Professor Lupin's office," Harry said quietly.

Ginny sighed and piped in "I think I've seen her have one also, I just didn't know what it was at the time."

Bill shushed them, "I'm sure she's feeling embarrassed right now, I would keep the chatter to a minimum."

"Right, if Garnet wants to talk about it she will." Charlie looked out the door at George, Fred and Garnet sitting in the dark, with Molly hanging back, but hovering.

Meanwhile, George was quietly waiting for Garnet to tell him what she wanted to do.

"I'm sorry," she said, looking down at the glass of water in her hand.

"For what?" George looked at her like she was crazy.

Garnet looked him in the eyes, "This was a great day, turned into a lovely evening with everybody and I just frightened the hell out of everybody."

"My dear, with everything those kids have witnessed in the last three years, it will take more than a seizure to scare them." Molly smiled sweetly at Garnet, "They may, however, be concerned."

Garnet nodded.

Once she felt able, she stood and sighed. "Well I guess now's as good a time as any to talk to them."
