One for All
"Three villains, who are allegedly part of the League, have been successfully apprehended," a reporter on said while mugshots of three villains flashed on screen. "Wild, Wild Pussycat hero member Mandalay has received a critical head injury while protecting the students, and Pixie Bob is reported missing."
Hitoshi didn't sleep a wink last night after news of the villain attack broke out. Information released to the public had been heavily filtered to prevent a panic breaking out. All they were allowed to know was the current situation of the camping grounds and the immediate state of those involved. No one knew why the League attacked a training camp of first year hero students, no less, nor how they found the location of a supposed secret camp.
Hitoshi spent the entire night contacting Aizawa to check on him. He never got a reply, and Hitoshi his own panic did nothing but add on the current distress the hero may be feeling as well. Regardless of this, Hitoshi wanted to read or at least hear something from him. This was nothing like the previous League attack against Yuuei; and the last time they did, Aizawa needed to be bandaged from head to toe.
He couldn't imagine the wounds he'd gotten this time; especially after footage of the aftermath of the attack aired and showed just how much the League annihilated the camp. With how deliberate and carefully planned the attack was, analyst's believed this was the League of Villains rebirth after USJ. They now had a core set of members that were far capable than the one they debuted with four months ago.
"The villain attack happened during a night exercise which separated the supervising Professional hero's into two groups. The team of heroes, Wild Wild Pussycat's supervised the night exercise, while Yuuei hero faculty, Blood Hero: Vlad King of Class 1-B. and Erasure Hero: Eraser Head of 1-A were left inside the inn with remedial students.
"Allegedly, Vlad King and Eraser Head attempted to respond to Mandalay's distress call but have been cornered by a, yet unnamed villain, with a fire quirk. This villain is still at large, and highly dangerous. A profile sketch has been provided by Eraser Head to identify the villain. Please contact authorities if you have any information on this individual, and we remind everyone to not engage once spotted."
Hitoshi glanced at his phone for the nth time, hoping and praying that Aizawa was fine. He knew Aizawa was an experienced hero, but he couldn't help but worry. Police sketches of the supposed attackers were flashed on the screen, following a warning to not engage. His focus lingered on the picture of a man with black hair with horrendous burn scars all over his face and taped unto unburnt skin.
Reports claimed he had direct contact with Eraser Head at the height of the attack and burned almost half the forest with his destructive fire quirk. The more Hitoshi stared at the sketch, the more his stomach churned in fear. If the League was able to recruit someone like him, he dreaded what the others could do.
"Fifteen students from the first year hero classes are reported to be under critical condition due to a villain's gas quirk, eleven are injured and were immediately put into medical care, with the remaining unscathed, and – one missing."
Hitoshi's eyes widened.
"Any reports of sighting of the alleged members as profiled below and the face of the missing student – Katsuki Bakugou should be reported to the proper authorities immediately."
There was public outcry and protest against Yuuei's slow response to the crisis. Bakugou was a minor, and was under the responsibility of the institution. The camp was attacked late last night, but news of Bakugou's abduction was only known the following morning. There had been at least ten hours between the abduction and the news. Some believed that Bakugou was already dead because the villains had not made any demands for ransom, while others were worried why they hadn't. Reading through social media, Hitoshi didn't like the reasons they came up with.
Video reels and clips of Bakugou's behavior and power during the sports festival rotated around on television and the internet. It further lowered the already bad opinion on Bakugou's character and fueled theories as to what the League intended to do with him.
Hitoshi didn't know a lot about Bakugou aside from what he'd seen and heard of him through Yuuei's rumor mill. He had a bad temper, he was incredibly strong, and he was prideful. He won the tournament, out of a technicality, and thus refused to claim it as a victory.
Hitoshi wasn't there when the winners were awarded, but he'd seen the clips of the ceremony. Bakugou was downright furious at having won the festival despite saying he would. They had him in metal restraints that bound his mouth and arms. He looked manic, almost crazed as he fought to break free and reject the medal All Might put on him.
To those that watched the festival, Bakugou's explosive nature was a clear red flag that he would be nothing but trouble, both as a student and a future hero. No one wanted a hero that was as destructive and volatile as he was. Many believed he acted more like a villain than a hero during the sports festival, and these people jumped at the chance to sully the young hero's name to the ground the moment they found out he was captured by the League.
Many were worried that he was the League's mission. They kidnapped him to recruit him into the League. The idea was ridiculous, but it wasn't impossible. Bakugou was constantly tied down by society's idea of a real hero. The very heroes he idolized criticized his reckless and rude behavior. Only time, and the right catalyst would turn the young hero-to-be into a terrifying villain.
Hitoshi however, thought otherwise.
He's met Bakugou, and knew exactly what kind of person he was. He, like Midoriya, was blessed with a quirk perfectly sculpted to be a weapon. It was powerful, it was flashy, and it was everything a hero could wish for. People like them become arrogant because they knew what they could achieve with their power. It would then become entitlement, where they demand attention and praise. If someone threatened their status, they lashed out like Bakugou would. They become selfish to keep and protect what they think is rightfully theirs alone. If they need to bring down others so that they could succeed, they would. They act as though the world owes them fame and glory just because their quirks are Plus Ultra.
Hitoshi hated those kinds of people. A lot of them existed out in the real world, so Bakugou was not that special a case. He was all of those traits, but he was not a villain. Less than one percent of those kinds of people were like Bakugou, who ranked the highest during the practical exam and won the sports festival. His attitude may be absolute shit, but Hitoshi's seen the way the he fought.
At first, Hitoshi saw what the majority did. Bakugou was strong because his quirk was strong. However, the more Hitoshi threw himself into physical, combat, and quirk training, the more he realized that there was something else behind the devil the media portrayed him to be.
Bakugou was strong because he made his quirk strong.
Hitoshi still hated people like him, but he refused to believe that Bakugou was that weak against villainous temptations. Self-centered people tend not work well with others anyway. They know what they want, and how they want it. They took their ambitions with their own hard work, not with a party. If Hitoshi was right about Bakugou's character, then the League's plan was set for failure.
"You're not going to train today are you?" Hajime asked before he set off for work while Hitoshi was watching the news.
"Okami's on house arrest, so I can't train with her today. Yuuei's closed because of the protests by the gate so even if I wanted to train somewhere safe, I couldn't."
"That's good." Hajime nodded. "I want you to stay in for a couple of days until this dies down. I know you're not exactly in the hero course, and the League is only interested in them, but you can't be too careful. Street villains still exist."
"If some street villain attacked me," Hitoshi slurred. "I can always use my quirk."
Hajime laughed, "I pity the fool that jumps you. But I'm serious, Hitoshi, if you're going out, text me and come back before the sun goes down."
Hitoshi waved his hand dismissively, and Hajime left with a ruffle of the former's hair. Hitoshi pulled his leg closer to his chest as he glanced between the television, which had a talk show debating the League's notoriety, and his phone, which buzzed with messages from the class.
A figure hidden in shadow watched Shigaraki's newly formed League talk amongst themselves inside a rundown bar from beyond a computer screen. The group stood of good distance among themselves. An air of commonality lingered among them but not quite friendly either.
"Oh! I've never had so much fun before!" a girl with dirty ash-blonde tied up in two messy buns that stuck out in places said with murderous glee."Izu-kun is so handsome and beautiful, all beat up and bleeding. Ah… I want to cut him up so bad."
"That's not an image I want in my head," groaned a man with burnt facial features. "You're a nutjob."
Himiko Toga pulled a knife at him and smiled maliciously. "You're not my type, but I will cut you if you disrespect my adorable Izu-kun again."
The villain who introduced himself as Dabi scoffed. "Not if I cremate you first, crazy bitch."
"You two are mad!" A man wearing a black and gray bodysuit, Jin Bubaigawara, alias Twice, cried. "KILL EACH OTHER!"
They went on to playfully banter, or not, among each other while Shigaraki kept his eyes on their foe on the far end of the room. Bakugou's arms and legs were shackled to a chair by thick belts around his chest, while his hands were restrained by a large metal box that prevented him from using his quirk.
The figure narrowed their eyes on the sleeping student. The restraints on Bakugou felt a tad overkill if one considered the odds one teenager had against eight villains. Then again, the figure sort of understood the need for precaution. This was a young hero known for his brutality even towards his so called peers; if he really wanted, he could take them all out in a single explosion.
The figure turned his attention to the back of Shigaraki's mop-like hair.
They knew of the plan to infiltrate the training camp. Kurogiri asked them for assistance to locate the camp's venue, and activity schedules if possible. They couldn't obtain the activity list without revealing their position, so they left it to chance. Discovering the camp location on the other hand was a walk in the park. Eraser Head had been incredibly helpful so much so that he didn't even know he'd led them straight into to the camp.
The figure wanted some form of recognition for tricking Eraser Head like that, but knew all praise would end to Shigaraki, who technically planned and executed his first mission.
Unlike the other missions he'd done in the past, which they designed, Shigaraki developed this camp attack from the start to finish. For his first attempt at planning, Shigaraki surprisingly performed well. If no one from the League had been captured, then they would've applauded him for a perfectly executed run. The plan was extremely bold, and that deserved credit. They did however, have one problem with the plan.
"Why Bakugou?" they asked out of interest. "I understand that he's strong, but what does Shigaraki plan to use him for?"
"Tomura needed a pawn," All for One sneered. "Young Bakugou is young and impressionable. If he sympathizes with Tomura, it would ruin Yuuei's image, and by extension chip away society's foolish belief on its saviors."
"I suppose," they agreed half-heartedly. Bakugou was not that bad of a choice if all Shigaraki wanted was a symbol to use as a warning and message to hero society. A hero that sided with villainy after being awoken to the realities of life? Not a bad narrative.
However, as perfect as it sounds, Bakugou was also a double edged sword. He could be their greatest weapon or he could be their downfall. Despite the bad press around Bakugou's character, there was no way Yuuei was going to let them have him.
All for One chuckled with amusement beside them. "As always, I can sense your anger in your silence."
"Sorry. I was deep in thought."
"I could tell," the villain hummed. "What is on your mind?"
The figure held back their tongue for a moment to properly filter out their thoughts. All for One had grown fond of them over the years which helped reduce the times they were punished for speaking up or failing, but he still held an authority over them that the figure dared not question. "If we are to consider an image, wouldn't Izuku Midoriya be a better choice? He is All Might's successor after all."
All for One laughed mirthfully and turned his scarred head towards the young villain. "A wise choice? Yes. A better one? I'm afraid not. Midoriya is beloved. All Might chose him because he wore his heart on his sleeve. He embodies the truth, justice, and peace All Might and every hero stand for. If Tomura had chosen him instead, our message would remain, but the results would be different."
The figure frowned. "I fail to see why…? If we get a hero as pure as Midoriya, and make him a villain, wouldn't that send a wider ripple into hero society? That even the best people can become like us?"
All for One nodded. "Yes, that is one avenue we could have taken. You definitely would have chosen that instead if you were in Tomura's place." The villain turned to the figure with an earnest head tilt. All for One had no expression on his face, but the younger villain felt the sentiment loud and clear. "You've always been good at tackling someone else's heart."
"T- Thanks? I guess."
"However, his abduction would not spur the discussion Bakugou's disappearance did," the older villain argued. "Midoriya will never side with villains, they will argue, and many would believe the same. It is also certain that Midoriya will not be swayed by our words. All Might saw himself and his ideals reflected in the boy too much to have given away his power so foolishly"
"If Tomura succeeds, Bakugou's change of allegiance is the bomb we need to change people's opinion towards us, the ones heroes have left to suffer and punished for speaking against a flawed system. If he were to side with us, then it would be because he grew tired of believing in hero's which he once wanted to be. He would expose the lies of the hero system and make people lose their belief in it."
"But if people knew who Midoriya was, they'd understand where we come from more," they said without thinking. A dreadful silence spread between them and the old villain. Then, like on instinct, the younger villain bowed. "Sorry, I spoke out of turn."
All for One chuckled. "Still haven't grown out of that have you." The younger villain blushed as the former continued, "I understand your concerns however, that opportunity has passed. Midoriya is no longer quirkless. Regardless of how we spin it, Izuku Midoriya was chosen by society's most revered hero. Where he came from or what he could've been no longer matters."
"Still, we're basing a lot on 'what if' on Bakugou," they said, albeit more resigned now than earlier. "From what I've observed off him, he probably has stronger convictions than Midoriya to win and become a hero." A beat passed and they bowed shamefully. "I shouldn't question Shigaraki's decision."
"Nonsense," All for One said. "Tomura has only started to think for himself. He does not have the experience and lessons I have taught you. I've honed your mind as a weapon for him. That said, you shouldn't be afraid to point out his flaws. It would only strengthen him and perfect him even more."
The figure scoffed, but nonetheless moved by their teacher's words. "I don't think he'll take the criticism well. He'd probably dust me if I do that."
"He will listen" the villain assured them. "Once he recalls who you are, and learns of everything you have done for him. For now, we will watch how his plan unfolds. If he succeeds, then we will continue to guide him. If he fails, we will pick up the pieces and allow him to grow from it."
The figure turned to Shigaraki again and smiled. As much as they disliked and was envious of him for being the center of All for One's affection, they can't deny the hopes they've also invested on him. Shigaraki was going to change the world, and they would be sure he does it in accordance to All for One's will.
"Yes, Sensei."
Hitoshi didn't like the way the media slandered Yuuei.
They framed it as though everything that has happened – the USJ attack, Stain attacking hero students, the Hosu invasion, everything was entirely the school's fault. Either they were blind, or they simply didn't care and instead looked for someone easy to blame. Yuuei was the only hero school reported to have been attacked this often by a group of villains. It was also, only Yuuei, who let a kid under their protection and guidance be captured under their watch.
Hitoshi understood people's outrage, but they were the victims, not the perpetrator. He really can't explain why the League has only ever attacked Yuuei, but if he were to guess, Shigaraki just had a bone to pick against the first year hero course.
Opinions regarding Yuuei's administration were quickly torn into two. There were those that chose to defend it and continue to support its endeavors, while others started to ridicule its preparedness for incidents like this and appropriate response. A lot wanted to ruin Yuuei's reputation as the best hero school in Japan, and the League just gave them a couple of good reasons why.
"You're really upset about this whole thing huh?" Fumei said while Hitoshi angrily scrolled through forums about Yuuei's negligence.
"Who wouldn't be?" he hissed. "They're making it sound like Aizawa was at fault for not doing his job and protecting them."
"Well, students almost died, and Bakugou's gone," Fumei argued. "People are allowed to be angry."
"But it's not his fault," Hitoshi said. "This is Aizawa we're talking about. He cares more for his students than his own life. Shigaraki almost killed him back in USJ."
Fumei sighed. "Yeah, you're right. They're being unreasonable. Still, it doesn't change the fact that Yuuei hasn't explained its side. It's been two days, people want answers."
It has indeed been two days since the League's attack.
Yuuei suspended summer remedial classes and other activities until further notice, which further aggravated the media who were investigating Yuuei's uncanny silence. Rumor started running around that there was a mole inside Yuuei.
The infamous Yuuei rumor mill suggested that the League wouldn't be confident to launch these many attacks unless they were certain of the information they had. They knew when, where, and who to strike so the public would turn against Yuuei.
Immediate suspects were of course the professional hero staff, who knew everything about the hero classes and the location of the secret camp. No one wanted to suspect a hero, or a student, but the rumor mill was unapologetic. Everyone was a mole until proven otherwise.
Hitoshi didn't dwell on the theories Nusumi laid out when she included Eraser Head as a primary suspect. It was completely ridiculous. "They'll talk," he said with certainty. "Aizawa won't let them talk about Bakugou like that. He may be an ass, but he's still a hero."
Fumei chuckled. "Takes one to know one right?"
Hitoshi shoved Fumei off his seat, then exited the train and onto the platform. They had planned just hours before the attack happened that they would meet to work on the project they've been putting on hold for two weeks now. They were supposed to meet yesterday, but with the kidnapping, none of them were allowed out so soon. Instead, they agreed to meet the following day in Makito's house because she was too afraid to leave it.
Makito arrived not long after to pick them up in a rather expensive looking car. Hitoshi never imagined Makito of all people to be someone so… prolific. She blushed at the praise and waved it off as her parent's wealth and not hers. Fumei just made fun of him for not knowing despite being equally surprised himself.
When they arrived in Makito's apartment, it was easily twice the size of his house, and four times bigger than Fumei's unit. "My parents are out, but my brothers are here somewhere. I told them not to disturb us, but I wouldn't count on it," she informed them while she led them to her room.
When they entered a room filled with orange Christmas lights and white furniture, a smaller light blue haired boy jumped out from under the bed covers. "VISITOR'S!" a boy with a bandage patch over his nose shouted.
"Souchu!" Makito cried with a hand on her chest, startled. "What did I tell you about hiding in my room?!"
Souchu leapt out of the bed before Makito could catch him, and ran circles around Hitoshi while making fun of his face. Hitoshi's eye twitched. The nerve of this kid…!
The child hobbled over to Fumei, who caught him under his arms. "I caught the small bean!"
Souchu giggled as he was raised into the air. "I'm flying! Higher niisan! Higher!"
Fumei threw the boy a few inches up a few times before he put him down. Makito fumbled with her words and pushed Souchu out, who refused to lose the fight.
All of a sudden a shadow of slightly taller height than Souchu materialized between them. The black silhouette with bright blue eyes grinned and tackled Makito to the ground. Souchu piled over his sister and the silhouette, whose shadow melted away to reveal another blue haired boy with slanted eyes. "I got Azu-nee!"
"Daizu!"
Both boys then danced around Makito's trembling form like devilish imps. Hitoshi watched, disgusted as these two kids completely demolished their sister's authority.
"Alright, you two," Fumei clapped to get their attention. "Stop harassing Makito. She's got guests over, and little boys need to behave whenever she does."
"But Azu-nee likes playing with us!" Daizu said.
"Throw me again!" Souchu added with his arms raised. Down on the floor, Makito whimpered a soft apology.
Fumei then tried to convince them to leave, but the boys persisted and started chasing the former with their quirks. Fumei, too afraid to hurt them in their powered version of tag, did not retaliate.
Hitoshi was content just watching Fumei make a mess of himself, until Souchu's shadow twin started to tag him to. He managed to trick the brothers into answering him then promptly ordered them out the room. Hitoshi locked them out before the boys realized what they did.
"They're a handful." Fumei sighed, exhausted.
Makito once again apologized but made no movement to stand from her defeated state.
Fumei wrapped a blanket around her and comforted with soft pats on her head to calm her down. Makito whined under the covers, and muttered a soft thank you before firing another string of apologies.
They decided to leave her be and worked on the paper together instead while she regained herself. Hitoshi then realized that doing so was a mistake. Fumei had too many ideas he wanted to include in the paper that made the already complex topic, seem harder. Hitoshi would simplify it, then Fumei would then add more, then he'd have to cut more off again, until Fumei added more – it was a very frustrating cycle.
Thankfully, Makito joined them in the discussion two hours later. She managed to not only fix the outline, but also stopped Fumei from being too assertive with what he wanted the paper to have. Hitoshi then expected everything to run smoothly next, but Fumei was continually distracted to make anything worthwhile.
Hitoshi had to chucked Fumei's phone somewhere inside the room just to stop him from procrastinating. That worked for a while until Makito's mother brought them up some snacks, and the brothers barged in along with her. Without his phone to serve as a distraction, Fumei decided to join the kids' antics and played hide and seek inside the whole apartment.
Against Makito's better judgement, she let them do as they pleased and distracted herself with more work. They were just about finished with the whole thing, and Makito let Hitoshi have his rest. Hitoshi still offered to give out his opinion if she needed it, and Makito just waved him off.
To pass the time while Makito did final edits, Hitoshi went back to scrolling his social media feed. It was already sometime past nine, so if there were any new development's they would be online. Then he was a picture of Aizawa in a press conference from an hour ago. He was dressed in a suit, which looked odd on someone as laid back as him, with his hair neatly combed back over his head to accentuate his face.
They finally talked, he thought.
He found a clip of the interview where Aizawa apologized beside Vlad King and Principal Nezu. His mentor kept a straight face amidst the harsh comments and criticism some reporters had about himself, about Yuuei, and most importantly Bakugou. However he was most proud of Aizawa defending Bakugou like he knew he would.
Hitoshi still hated the explosive brat, but he wouldn't wish that kind of punishment for him.
A few second later, Fumei barreled into the room with a horrified look on his face. Souchu and Daizu giggled on Fumei's back and waist, completely unaware of his alarmed state. "MAKITO! DO YOU A TELEVISION!?"
"Ah – I –"
"DO YOU?!"
Makito shrieked a "Yes!" and scrambled for a button under her work desk. An area on the wall parted to reveal small flat screen television. Fumei grabbed the remote and quickly switched channels to NHA. Reminiscent of the damage in the forest ambush the footage once again showed yet another overhead shot of destruction. However, instead of burning trees this broadcasted several city blocks in ruins.
Hitoshi's voice clamped up in his throat while Makito gasped and covered her mouth, on the verge of tears. Souchu and Daizu dropped to the floor, eyes blown wide in horror. Fumei grew pale when a muscled battered body in familiar blue and red briefly showed up on the screen.
"All Might!"
"We're here at this Nightmarish scene!" the reporter screamed as All Might fell to the crater beneath him. "Half of Kamino ward was destroyed in the blink of an eye! All Might is currently exchanging blows with the purported villain behind this destruction. It's hard to believe that a single villain could obliterate several city block and go toe-to-toe with the Symbol of Peace himself! Who is this man!?"
The camera shakily focused in to All Might's beaten form, then turned to the grotesque villain across him. The villain wore a standard black suit and a wide, metallic collar-neck brace with angular pipes. He looked normal at first glance, but another look at him made everyone shudder in fear.
The villain had no face. He didn't have eyes, nose, lips, nor ears. What was left of his face was an age-old scar tissue that still, somehow, resonated how dangerous and powerful this person was. While everyone took in the horrors of this villain's image, a high pressure air canon shot out of the villain's arm.
All Might jumped to intercept it, then a sonic boom threw back rubble into the ruins. And then as the smoke cleared – All Might stood with his fist out to the villain, no longer built and tall as though he was larger than life.
"Uh – what's…? Huh? All Might… he's all shriveled up…?"
Makito fell to her knees. All Might had transformed into a sickly thin man that was far too small for his infamous hero costume. "H – He – H – He's going to die… All Might's going to –"
"HE CAN'T LOSE!" Daizu yelled defiantly. "HE'S THE GREATEST HERO OF ALL, NEE-SAN!"
"DON'T GIVE UP ALL MIGHT!" Souchu cried.
Hitoshi's eyes darted across the screen trying to get a better look at All Might's state. He knew there was no way this person could defeat the villain. This wasn't the All Might he'd grown up with, and yet, he knew it was still him. He was still the Symbol of Peace, and he stood there completely unfazed by danger and the looming face of death. He gripped his hands into a fist.
"HE'S NOT GOING TO LOSE!" he screamed. "HE'S FOUGHT STRONGER VILLAINS BEFORE. THIS IS ALL MIGHT – HE –" he turned to Fumei, whose eyes were glued to the screen with wide terrified eyes. "HE'LL WIN! FOR ALL OF US! ALL MIGHT WILL SAVE US, LIKE HE ALWAYS DOES."
Souchu and Daizu embraced each other as they screamed out All Might's name. Hitoshi shouted with them, and Makito clasped her hands in a prayer. They continued to shout his name like screaming at the scream would give the hero an extra boost in power to defeat the villain before them.
The villain laughed, like he knew the foolish acts All Might's supporters were trying to scream for their hero to succeed. He rose to the sky and empowered his arm with a multitude of quirks then swung his arm straight for All Might.
The impact of their fist's exploded into a massive shock-wave that rocked the news helicopter off its steady path. The video shook out of focus as All Might's fist sparked in red flames imbued with the last embers of his heroic spirit and power.
All Might's scream reached the sky; his voice raw and filled with emotion, as he landed his strongest and final blow unto the villain's jaw. Hitoshi and the rest of the world watching, shouted for his victory. "UNITED STATES OF SMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!"
Everything stilled as dust and debris covered the aftermath between these Godlike being's fight. All eyes were stuck on the screen, mouth agape in suspended disbelief and dread as the dust cleared to reveal All Might's form standing triumphantly above the battered villain.
He raised a bloodied fist over his head, and Hitoshi couldn't help but punch a fist into the air
"ALL MIGHT!" he shouted in unison with the reporter on screen. "The villain is – HE WON! ALL MIGHT WON! HE'S REALLY WON AND HE'S STILL STANDING!"
All Might suddenly bulked up, giving them one final bow as this larger than life hero, and kept his arm raised. Hitoshi held out his arm as long as the hero did. He knew he was miles away from Kamino, but gesture felt like he was sending his hero, his idol. This was message directly to and from his heart; a sincere farewell, to him and to the people he fought all these years to protect.
It was the end of All Might, but his message and symbol will live on in the hearts of many. Hitoshi promised to follow in his footsteps. In the face of danger, he wouldn't falter.
The screen changed camera's to show a close-up damage of the All Might with his finder raised directly into it. Hitoshi gasped – All Might pointed at him.
"You're next."
While the world rejoiced at All Might's victory, the door to Makito's room suddenly slammed shut. Fumei had left without a word.
A/N: AWWW FAM HERE WE GO. AN UPDATE! We've finally reached Kamino. It took time to write this one because I had no idea what to put in the middle. Like I've got the buns but no meaty patty. Writing from the bottom up apparently works when you've got zilch.
I hope everyone stays safe from this Covid-19 pandemic. Remember to stay indoors and always wash your hands! I'll try to post another one by next week to conclude the summer arc (Training camp/Kamino arc). See you whenever! Don't forget to leave a review or follow and/or favorite. Sushi out!
