Road to the Chamber

SmackDown 1/29/18

The show opens with a recap of what happened at the Royal Rumble. It showed Asuka versus Becky Lynch facing off for the SmackDown Women's title. Despite Becky's best efforts, she tapped out and lost her match. Asuka remains undefeated and keeps her title.

However, Becky ended up winning the Royal Rumble match and now is going on to WrestleMania. She then showed up on Raw and challenged for the Raw Women's title at WrestleMania.

They then showed Daniel Bryan versus AJ Styles in a physical one-on-one match where Bryan was successful in retaining his title. Of course, it was after outside help from Sanity who took out AJ and helped Bryan win. Later on, it showed the second Royal Rumble match and how it was down to Seth Rollins versus Ruby Takashi. Despite Ruby's best efforts she was eliminated in the match and Seth ended up winning the Royal Rumble.

The video soon ended with Seth pointing to the WrestleMania sign before it opens up in Phoenix, Arizona where the fans cheered loudly looking forward to the fall out of the Royal Rumble.

The show opens with Becky Lynch coming out to the ring and talking about how she challenged Ronda for her title at WrestleMania. Becky talks about how she will break Ronda's arm for the world to see and claimed that she saw doubt on Ronda's eyes. How she is afraid of her and how she knows Becky will beat her. Becky vows to win the Raw Women's title and will show the world why the Man is the absolute best.

However, Charlotte came out mocking her friend and how she only won because of her. How she taught her everything she needed to know to win and how she should be thanking her. This only made Becky mad and the two begin going at it as officials came out to break the women up. Despite Becky's injured knee, she still kept on fighting as the crowd cheered on for Becky.

Soon the show continued with the announcement made from last night on Monday Night Raw. How there will be not one, not two, but three Elimination Chamber matches. One for the World Heavyweight Championship. Bobby Lashley defending the title against Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler, Austin Aries, James Storm, and Bobby Roode.

While the second was announced it will be for the Women's Tag Team Championship. The Lucha Knights (Olivia Knight & Luna Guerrera) defending their titles against five other teams. The second time in WWE history the Elimination Chamber match will have tag team titles on the line. From Raw they found out the three teams will be Nia Jax & Tamina, the Boss 'n' Hug Connection (Bayley & Sasha Banks), and the Riott Squad. While from SmackDown they will have their champions and two other teams as well.

The show continued with two of those teams being revealed. It has Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville facing off against the new team of Naomi and Carmella. The Lucha Knights were on commentary to watch the match, while also giving their thoughts on their title defense in the Elimination Chamber. All while watching the two teams going bac and forth.

All four women looking to gain momentum for their first match inside the Elimination Chamber. All four looking to make an impact and hope to win the titles. All while Naomi looks to get some payback against Mandy for what she has been doing with her husband. Even during the match, Mandy kept trying to get under Naomi's skin.

However, this ended up backfiring on her team as Naomi tackled her to the outside and this allowed Carmella to hit the Superkick on Sonya to get the one…two…and three. Carmella and Naomi get the win, while gaining momentum for their match in a few weeks. Mandy knows she has to gain momentum for her team soon, otherwise Sonya might take her anger out on her.

The Lucha Knights left the commentary booth and appeared impressed with their competition. But, they still believe they have the advantage as they head to the back and pose with their titles.

Backstage

Ruby is in the back after being told that about an announcement that Shane has made. She sees some of the wrestlers all getting ready with whatever Shane wants to tell them. Ruby stood by near the good guys side, while the bad guys stood by on the other side. Soon, Paige came into the room with Shane as the two prepare to go over their announcement.

"All right, glad to see everyone is here," said Paige as she welcomes everyone. "Now, as you know, last night it was announced there will be three Elimination Chamber matches. One for the Women's Tag Team titles, the second for the World Heavyweight title, and the third it is going to be for the WWE title. That means we have five open spots to see who will face off against him."

Shane steps forward and continues off for Paige. "That's why you are all here. We have set up a series of qualifying matches to determine who will go on to the Elimination Chamber. We have some matches set up for you all next week, including a 12-man Battle Royal with the winner getting the final spot in the Elimination Chamber. You all have a chance to make history at the Elimination Chamber, so make it count if you make it to the match."

"So, listen up and we'll let you know who you will face off against who. While you find out who will take place in the battle royal," Paige prepares to explain who will face who. Until Daniel Bryan walks by with his title.

"Why in the hell am I being forced to defend my WWE title in the Elimination Chamber?" Daniel Bryan asked clearly not happy to be doing this. "Why should I have to defend my title in such a barbaric structure? A structure that represents everything that is wrong with this company and this world."

Bryan then turns to the wrestlers, all fighting for a chance for his title. "For that matter, why should I defend my title against any of these nobodies?! I have beaten them all and I have proven I am better than any of them!"

Bryan then turns towards Shane and Paige. "I will not defend my title at the Elimination Chamber. So, you can make these little matches if you want, but I am not going to…

"Shut the hell up, anata wa baka o kuso (you fucking idiot)," said Ruby as she interrupts Bryan and walks up to him. "I am so sick and tired of hearing you spouting out the same old crap every single week. You think just because you won the title back you are better than the rest of us? Yeah, you've beaten a lot of us in the past, but we've all beaten you as well."

She then turns to the other wrestlers. "Joe has beaten you, Sakura has beaten you, Bray Wyatt has beaten you, Miz, Orton, Daniels, Kofi, Rey, Sheamus, Nakamura…me. The list goes on," she replied as many of the wrestlers all nod in agreement knowing they have beaten Bryan before. "That's why you don't want to defend the title against us. Because you know you will lose it in the Elimination Chamber."

Ruby then begins chuckling softly as she placed her hand under her chin. "The same Chamber I won the WWE title in two years ago. So, if you don't want to defend it at the Chamber…then defend it against me, tonight."

Most of the good guys behind Ruby begin applauding and even cheered her on, while Bryan held his title close to his chest and shook his head.

"That is never going to happen. I am never going to defend my title against you or any of these losers! You don't deserve it Ruby, none of you deserve it!" Bryan then holds his title in front of Ruby. "I am the champion! I am the best! And you can't make me defend it!"

Paige then clears her throat and speaks up. "Except your bosses, like Shane and me," said Paige as she brings up the fact that Shane and Paige have the power to make matches. "And you will defend the WWE title at the Elimination Chamber. Refusal to do so will lead to Shane and I having no choice but to strip you of the title."

The locker room cheered as Bryan stares at Shane and Paige angrily. "You can't do that!"

"We can and we will!" Paige shouted down at Bryan to shut him up. "So, unless you want us to take that title from you or perhaps give Ruby that chance to take it from you tonight. You will defend the WWE title at the Elimination Chamber. Take your pick."

Bryan stares at Ruby and then at Paige before he yelled in anger before he calmed down. "Fine. Fine, I'll defend my title. But I demand I come out last."

Paige turns to Shane, who got an idea and steps forward. "How about this? We set up a match for you tonight. If you win, then your opponent won't qualify in the Elimination Chamber and you come out last."

Daniel Bryan liked that idea and knew that is what he wanted. "Fine, with me. I accept."

"Oh? So, you accept that if you lose then the person who beats you then qualifies and they come in last, while you come in first?" Shane replied as he turns to Paige and the two nod in agreement. "Good, because your opponent is going to be…Ruby Takashi."

Bryan stares at Shane and Paige in shock at what just happened before turning to Ruby who has a big smile on her face.

"Oh, and by the way, if you refuse to compete tonight then you will forfeit, Ruby goes into the Elimination Chamber, and you come out last," said Shane as he pats Bryan on the back. "Good luck," he replied before he took off with Paige to inform the rest of the locker room of the other qualifying matches next week.

All while Ruby pats Bryan on the shoulder and chuckles. "See you later then, Bryan," she replied before she took off, while Bryan angrily shouts and walks off to get ready.

Later

The rest of the show continued on with Frankie Kazarian getting his rematch for his United States title. Frankie came out first and vowed not only to win his title back, but also vows to win next week to go into the Elimination Chamber. Samoa Joe came out cutting a promo on Frankie and telling him how he won't go on to the Elimination Chamber. Much less win back his title from him.

The two men go at it with Frankie taking the early control after he attacks Joe the same way he was attacked. Frankie even clips Joe's left leg and begins trying to wear him down. However, during the commercial break, Joe trips Frankie off the apron and took back control. Joe soon began beating Frankie down and tries to end the match quickly.

But Frankie showed he isn't going down without a fight. He keeps on fighting Joe and soon begins making his comeback. Frankie hits a Springboard Tornado DDT and gets the crowd going. Frankie soon goes for the finish, but Joe hits him with the Uranage Slam! Joe goes for the Muscle Buster, but Frankie managed to fight back and soon hits the Wave of the Future!

But Joe rolled to the outside before Frankie can get for the cover. Frankie runs over and hits a Suicide Dive! Frankie grabs Joe and throws him back in as he goes for a Springboard Legdrop, but Joe moved out of the way and Frankie hit the mat. Joe then locks in the Rear-Naked Chokehold as he tries to make him tap out. But Frankie managed to counter the hold and goes to try pinning Joe down getting one…two…but Joe lets go of the hold to stop the pin.

Frankie runs over and Joe this him with a Powerslam! Joe then grabs Frankie and goes for the Muscle Buster in the corner, but Frankie managed to break free and goes for a Roll-up getting one…two…but Joe pulls Frankie back and locks in the Rear-Naked Chokehold with both men in the middle of the ring. Joe wraps his legs around Frankie to keep him from getting freed.

Frankie tries his best to get out of the hold, but soon passes out and the referee calls for the bell. Joe retains his title and poses over his beaten opponent. All while gaining momentum for next week with his chance to qualify for the Elimination Chamber. And get his chance to win the WWE title.

The next match has Cesaro going up against Jey Uso. With their partners are ringside as the Bar look to get some payback against the Usos for what happened this past Sunday. The two men go at it back and forth with Jey trying to wear down Cesaro, but the Swiss Superman showed he wasn't going down so easily. Cesaro begins taking back control and make his comeback as he took down his opponent down.

However, Jimmy tried to get involve after he attacks Sheamus and tries to take him out. The Usos then took the referee out and go to finish Cesaro off. Until they missed their Superkick and Cesaro hits a Springboard European Uppercut taking both men down. Sheamus comes in and hits Jimmy with a Brogue Kick knocking him to the outside.

Cesaro then hits Jey with the Neutralizer and locks in the Sharpshooter forcing Jey to tap out just as the referee recovered. The crowd cheered for the Bar as both men pose in the ring and got some payback as they look to regain their titles at the Elimination Chamber.

*Painless* begins to play as Ruby Takashi makes her way out getting cheered by the crowd. She makes her way out wearing the same gear she wore at the Royal Rumble. Ruby gets on one-knee and placed her hand on the entrance stage as she lets out a loud howl. The crowd howl with her as Ruby heads towards the ring.

"The following contest is a Elimination Chamber qualifying match set for one-fall!" Greg Hamilton announced as the crowd cheered. "Introducing first, from Tokyo, Japan, she is the Wolf of the Rising Sun, and the Empress of Japan…RUBY TAKASHI!"

The crowd cheered loudly as Ruby heads up the steel steps and climbs to the top rope as she lets out a loud howl. The crowd howl with her as Ruby turns to the WrestleMania sign and points to it. She knows this is her second chance to get to WrestleMania. She needs to make it count as she took off her jacket then throws it to a ring side official before she jumps into the ring.

Ruby poses in the middle of the ring and goes to her corner as she gets ready for her opponent.

*Flight of the Valkyries* begins to play as the 'new' Daniel Bryan comes out getting booed by the crowd. All while he has his custom WWE title around his waist. Bryan heads to the ring and looks angry at the fact he has to face Ruby one-on-one. In a match where if he loses, he will start the chamber off first and Ruby gets put in the match last.

"And introducing his opponent, from Aberdeen, Washington, weighing in at 210, he is the WWE Champion…DANIEL BRYAN!" Greg Hamilton announced as Bryan heads into to the top rope posing with his title.

The crowd got excited for this match since this is the first time, they will get to see Ruby Takashi versus Daniel Bryan one-on-one in a WWE ring. Ruby knew it has been years since she fought Bryan. It was at a Ring of Honor show before he left for WWE. She was proud of how far he came in the company and what he had to go through to come back.

But now? She will have to beat him in order to get back to the top as well and become WWE Champion for the second time in her career.

The two lock up as Bryan gets Ruby in a headlock before getting behind her to grab her left arm. Ruby though managed to reverse the hold and lock in her own headlock as she tries to keep him from moving around. Bryan though begins driving his elbow into Ruby's side and forces her back against the ropes before he whips her off. Ruby hits the ropes and comes back hitting him with a Shoulder Tackle.

Ruby hits the ropes, Bryan goes for a Drop Down to try tripping her, but she jumps over him, and hits the ropes. She caught his left knee when he attempted for drive his knee into her gut. She then trips him and goes for the Heel Hook submission hold, but Bryan managed to get freed of the hold as the crowd cheered. Ruby then begins motioning how close she is to lock it in and make him tap out.

Bryan gets up and clearly looks angry as he shakes his head. They go to lock up, but Bryan kicks her in the gut then hits her with a European Uppercut sending her against the corner. Bryan begins kicking her repeatedly in the chest about five times before he runs across the ring to the opposite corner. Bryan runs over for the Dropkick into the corner, but she lifts both feet up and kicks him back.

Ruby rolls over and jumps up to hit him with a Jumping Neckbreaker! Ruby goes for the cover getting one…two…but Bryan kicked out! Ruby howls loudly as she gets the crowd behind her. She sees Bryan in the corner and runs over for a Back-Body Splash, but Bryan moves out of the way, so she hit the corner.

Bryan runs across from the corner and runs over to hit Ruby with a Dropkick into the corner knocking her down. Bryan sees Ruby is down and goes for it again, but Ruby runs over and hits him with her Shotgun Dropkick into the corner. Bryan hits the corner hard and Ruby runs back to her corner then runs over to hit Bryan with a Back-Body Splash before she hits a Spinning Roundhouse Kick!

Bryan goes down and goes to the outside as Ruby sees her opponent is down. Ruby runs across the ropes and then goes for a big dive, but sees Bryan move out of the way. So, Ruby uses the ropes to keep herself from jumping to the floor. Instead she landed on the apron and runs over to the middle turnbuckle and hits a Moonsault landing on Bryan!

Ruby gets up and howls as the crowd cheered loudly for her before the show goes to commercial break.

*End of Commercial Break*

During the commercial break, Ruby had taken control as she took Bryan down on the outside. Even launching him into the barricade. She then goes to whip him to the steel steps, but Bryan reversed it and Ruby hits the steps, injuring her left shoulder. Bryan then took Ruby's left arm between the steps and turnbuckle post before he slams the steps against her arm injuring it.

Since then, Bryan has locked in a submission hold on Ruby's arm, trying to wear her down, and force her to tap out. The crowd didn't give up onb Ruby as they cheer her on. Bryan got Ruby's arm to bend on the mat before he kicks her left arm right on the elbow. Bryan then begins dropping a knee and elbow drop on Ruby's face as he goes for the cover getting one…and Ruby kicked out.

Bryan grabs Ruby's arm goes under the arm, and then whips her to the corner. Ruby reverses this and sends Bryan to the corner. Bryan managed to run up the turnbuckle pads, flips over Ruby, hits the ropes, and ducks a Clothesline. But Ruby knew what he was going to do so she hits a low Dropkick on his left leg before she grabs his left leg then hits a DDT on it! Bryan yells in pain as he gets up slowly as he tries to shake off the pain.

But Ruby grabs him from behind and lifts her left leg before hitting him with the Shin Breaker! She then tries to go for it again, but Bryan drove his left elbow to the side of her head knocking her back. Bryan hits Ruby with an Uppercut, but Ruby returns with a hard chop to the chest causing the fans to go 'Woo!'. The two soon traded blows back and forth before Bryan goes for one more Uppercut, but Ruby caught him and goes for a Backslide.

Bryan managed to kick out at one, but when he got up, Ruby hits him with a Jawbreaker. Bryan turns around and Ruby instead of going for the Rainmaker hits him with a German Suplex. She didn't release the hold and goes for a second one and again didn't let go of the hold. She then goes for a Rolling German Suplex, but Bryan held on to the corner causing Ruby to roll back without him.

Bryan then kicks her in the chest while she is on her knees. Bryan kicks her again and again about ten times before he goes for one more to the head. Ruby caught his leg and hits the Dragon Screw Leg Sweep! Ruby then goes to lock in the Heel Hook, but Bryan began fighting his way to the corner and pushes her off with his good leg as he kicks her in the head.

Ruby falls on one-knee and Bryan kicks her in the head before going for the one…two…but Ruby kicked out! Bryan couldn't believe it as he then locks in the Yes Lock to try forcing her to tap out. Bryan yells at her to tap out as Ruby struggles to get freed of the hold. The crowd though cheers her on as Ruby tries to get out of the hold.

Soon, Bryan breaks it but brings his elbow down on her face to try wearing her down. He goes to lock the hold again, but Ruby managed roll them over so they are by the ropes. She grabs it and forces Bryan to break the hold. Bryan looks on angrily that he didn't get the win as he turns to Ruby ready to finish this.

Bryan goes for the Running Knee as he runs to Ruby. But Ruby hits him with a Superkick surprising the crowd! Ruby then sees Bryan staggering to get up as Ruby knowing she can't lift him due to her injured shoulder. So, she goes for the Wolf Fang Cutter as she hits the corner and then pushes back to hit the Cutter!

Ruby goes for the cover getting one…two…but Bryan kicked out! Ruby looks on surprised that she didn't get the win, but she didn't let this stop her as she picks Bryan up to for another Wolf Fang Cutter. However, Bryan pushes her into the referee knocking him down, but he didn't get knocked out. Ruby turns around and Bryan rakes her eye causing her to yell in pain.

Bryan sees his chance and runs over to hit her with the Running Knee! Bryan yells at the referee to come over, while the crowd booed loudly. The referee makes the count getting one…two…and no Ruby got a shoulder up! The crowd cheered loudly as Ruby stayed in the match and Bryan couldn't believe it.

Bryan begins yelling 'No!' repeatedly that he didn't get the win, while wondering what he has to do to get the win. Bryan grabs Ruby's left arm and decides to go for the Yes Lock again. However, as he goes for it, Ruby gets her arm freed and hits a Chop Block on Bryan's left leg! She then locks in the Heel Hook submission hold and tightens her hold around the leg.

Bryan struggled to get freed of the hold, but Ruby got him in the middle of the ring and makes sure her grip is on the leg rightly. Bryan seeing no choice begins to tap out as Ruby gets the win! The referee calls for the bell and soon Ruby breaks the hold as Greg Hamilton makes the announcement.

"Here is your winner by submission…RUBY TAKASHI!" Greg Hamilton announced as Ruby slowly gets up and has her right arm raised by the referee.

Ruby begins to smile knowing not only did she beat the WWE Champion, but now she goes on to the Elimination Chamber for a chance to regain her title. Ruby sees Bryan being helped to the back by the referee, while noticing his title at ringside. She soon grabs it and hates how the custom title looks like. However, she gets in the ring with the title and poses with it as the crowd cheered loudly for her.

Bryan looks on angrily and shouts for his title to be given back to him. Ruby though just ignores him and begins mocking him as she does the 'Yes!' chants with the fans chanting on. She knows she has three weeks before the Elimination Chamber, but she is confident not only will she win it. But she'll walk out with her title and go on to WrestleMania as champion…again.

SmackDown 2/5/18

The show opens up in Everett, Washington with Charlotte Flair coming out getting booed by the crowd. It was revealed last night on Raw that Becky Lynch got suspended after she attacked Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie tried to keep her from competing at WrestleMania due to her leg injury, but Becky refused to step down and attacked her. So, it was revealed later that Charlotte was taking her place and would take Becky's spot at WrestleMania.

"You know they say 'the only thing more dangerous than ignorance is arrogance,' and last night Becky Lynch's arrogance got the best of her," said Charlotte as she spoke with a mocking tone to Becky. "She refused medical attention; she beat up Stephanie McMahon. It was her rogue behavior that got her suspended. And I hope Becks is thinking more clearly today. I mean, I hope she sees the doctor, I hope she goes to rehab, but most importantly, I hope she's healthy for WrestleMania."

The crowd booed loudly at Charlotte knowing damn well she doesn't mean anything of what she said and is glad to be taking her spot.

Charlotte then begins mocking the crowd as they chant her name. "Keep chanting, yeah. Because you know what I know? I know someone who is a hundred percent healthy and would love to face Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania," she then points to the WrestleMania sign as the crowd continues to boo at her.

*Hurt* begins to play as the crowd cheered loudly as Charlotte looks on confused. The Women's Intercontinental Champion, Jasmine Strong soon comes out with her title around her waist and a mic on hand as she walks towards the ring.

"Oh Charlotte, how predictable. I knew the McMahons would pick you out of all the more deserving women to take Becky's place," said Jasmine as she walks slowly to the ring. "I mean, after all. You've always had things handed to you since you were born and here we have more proof of that. I mean, I can think of other women who are more deserving of a chance to fight at WrestleMania than a bratty little bitch like you. Someone like…me."

Jasmine soon stood in front of the ring as she gets on the apron with ease and goes over the top rope. "You know. The first ever Women's Intercontinental Champion, the most dominant woman in the WWE, and the one who made history eliminating 16 other participants in the Royal Rumble. Beating Roman Reigns, Kane, and Kevin Nash's record. And if I recall correctly…I threw your royal ass out of my ring."

The crowd cheered as Charlotte didn't seem to care about what happened and rolled her eyes. That changed though when Jasmine stood in front of her and towered over the smaller woman.

"So, that is why I decided to go to Triple H himself and tell him…no demand him to give me that title shot against Ronda Rousey," said Jasmine as she begins chuckling softly. "Now, he refused at first, but did agree with me when I told him of what I have accomplished. So, he told me at the Elimination Chamber, I can get my shot against Ronda if I beat a certain royal little princess one-on-one."

The crowd cheered loudly knowing who Jasmine is talking about, while Charlotte looks confused on what is going on. She thought she was already guaranteeing her title shot with Becky suspended.

"So, Charlotte. You better get ready, because at the Elimination Chamber, the terror from down under, is going to break you in half," said Jasmine as she pats Charlotte's head before she steps back and gets the crowd behind her.

Charlotte though didn't like finding out about this and soon clears her throat. "You have to be joking? Why in the hell should I have to fight you? You think just because you threw a bunch of losers out you think you earned a title shot? You throwing me out was a damn fluke and you know it."

Charlotte steps up to Jasmine and pokes at her chest. "You are nowhere near my league, you understand? I have accomplished more in the WWE than you and any of your little friends," she then turns to the title around Jasmine's waist and scoffed. "Hell, if I wanted to, I could take this title from you and go on to WrestleMania to win the Raw Women's title. But I'm going to give you one chance to save yourself from being embarrassed and losing your belt. You go back there, tell Triple H you are dropping out, or else…"

Jasmine grabs Charlotte's hand and begins squeezing it causing her to yell in pain as she tries to get freed. "Or else what? Bitch, you better be ready to back up your threat, because the last time we were in this ring I didn't just throw your ass out, but I kicked it too. So, if you want me out then you better bring it otherwise, I'm going to make damn sure you don't make it to WrestleMania."

Jasmine then pushes her to the mat as the crowd cheered loudly for her and chant her name. Jasmine soon begins to leave the ring as her theme song begins to play, while Charlotte looks on concerned. She knew she will have to be careful and now has to try to find a way to defeat Jasmine in order to prove she deserves a shot at WrestleMania.

Backstage

Ruby showed up to the show to get ready to go out to watch the main event match with the 12-man Battle Royal match to decide who the final wrestler will be to join the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match. The first qualifying match has a fatal four-way with Sakura Muta facing off against Eric Young, AJ Styles, and Bray Wyatt.

Ruby watched as all four wrestlers went at each other with AJ going after EY and Sakura after Bray. It was a physical match and each one getting a close near-fall. It soon came down to AJ Styles almost getting the win after hitting Eric Young with the Phenomenal Forearm. Until, Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain came out to attack him.

Due to it being a four-way match there was no disqualification so Sanity could beat down AJ together. They then tried to take him out, until Bray came in for the save and tried to fight them all off. But he was soon taken out to the outside. Sanity then took Bray out through the announce table, but while this happened, Sakura came in to hit the Shining Wizard to AJ to get the one…two…and three.

Sakura got out of the ring quickly, while Sanity tried to get in the ring to attack her. But Sakura got away and soon was the second to qualify in her match to earn her chance in the WWE title match.

Ruby was happy to see Sakura getting her win and she knows AJ will want payback against Sanity for costing him his chance to get another shot at Bryan.

She then saw Samoa Joe versus Mustafa Ali for the second qualifying match. Ali came in attacking Joe right as soon as he came out. Ruby knew this is payback for what Joe has been doing to him. Although, she knew, it will take more than this to take him down.

Sure enough, she was right. Joe took back control and began beating Ali down. Even kept him from flying around and using his speed to take him down. However, Ali surprised Joe and soon took back control as he goes for the finish. That was, until Joe knocked Ali to the outside and he hit the barricade.

Joe soon began beating Ali as he swings him into the barricade and then to the steel steps. Joe prepared to continue with the attack, until Frankie Kazarian came running out to attack him. Joe wins the match by disqualification, but Frankie wasn't done with him yet. Frankie hits the Fade to Black to Joe on the apron before he helps Mustafa Ali to the back.

Ruby knew Joe now is going on to the Elimination Chamber, but after this, Joe will want some payback on Frankie for what he did. Maybe if Frankie wins his match, he'll get his chance.

Ruby prepares to get up to leave for the main event match when she saw the backstage interviewer, Sarah Schreiberwalking into the room.

"Ms. Takashi, do you have a moment?" Ruby nods in response as Sarah begins interviewing her. "Okay, well in two weeks you are going to compete in your second Elimination Chamber match. How confident are you that you will the match and walk out with the WWE title?"

Ruby smiled a little as she thinks back of her first time in the Chamber. "Considering the fact, in the very first one I defeated four former world champions? Pretty confident. I know the odds of me winning it again does seem pretty slim, but then again the odds have always been against me."

Ruby knows that winning it a second time is almost impossible to do. "But, I always end up surprising everyone in the end and I always find ways to overcome the odds. At the Elimination Chamber, I will walk into that demonic structure for the second time and like before, I will win it all to become world champion again. And that's not a promise…it's a damn guarantee."

Ruby soon took off as she gets ready for the main event.

Later

The next match has the fourth Elimination Chamber qualifying match with the Miz facing off against Randy Orton and Christopher Daniels in a triple threat match. Shane had confronted Miz earlier and wished him luck for the match. Miz thanks Shane for the opportunity and promises to make his family proud tonight. The three former WWE Champions soon faced off with Orton trying to take down both his opponents.

Daniels and Miz though showed they weren't going down without a fight. With both men looking to get another chance to become WWE Champions. All three men began hitting their best moves and came close to beating the other. Until all three soon hit their finishers, but someone was always there to break it up.

Soon, Daniels hit the Angel's Wings and went for the Best Moonsault Ever. But then Sanity came out and attacked Daniels. They beat him down and soon left the ring to let Orton finish him off. Orton managed to take advantage of this as he hits the RKO!

Orton prepared to get the win when the Miz comes in from behind and gets a Roll-up getting one…two…and three! The Miz did it and will go on to the Elimination Chamber getting a chance to become WWE Champion again. Orton looks on shocked at what just happened and couldn't believe he lost. He looks on angrily at the Miz who left the ring and leaves up the ramp.

The Miz began celebrating as he made his way up to the entrance where Shane was waiting for him and raised him hand. Miz poses on the entrance stage and Shane congratulates him and wishes him luck at the Elimination Chamber.

The next match has the Lucha Knights facing off against the Riott Squad from Monday Night Raw in a two-on-three Handicap match. The match however, never happened as the Riott Squad attacked the Lucha Knights and proceeded to beat them down. That was, until Naomi and Carmella came out to make the save. But then, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville came out to beat down on Naomi and help the Riott Squad.

Suddenly, Sasha's theme begins going off distracting the five heels in the ring as they wait for their opponents to come out. But what they didn't know is Bayley and Sasha came through the crowd then got to the top rope before they dived off to land on the five women. Soon, a brawl broke out as all nine women begin going at it and beat the hell out of each other.

That changed as Nia Jax and Tamina came out then began beating down their opponents. They took out all five teams before they stood tall over their bodies and held the Women's Tag Team titles. The crowd booed loudly at the two women who took off after dropping the titles on the champions. Letting them know in two weeks, those titles are coming around their waist.

Soon, the main event was finally here as Ruby watched from ringside as she watched the participants head into the ring. She saw the New Day coming out followed by the Usos, Rey Mysterio, Shinsuke Nakamura, the Bar, Andrade, Rusev, and Frankie Kazarian.

Ruby watched as the match began and the twelve men begin going at it. She saw the New Day go after Shinsuke and Rusev, while the Usos go after the Bar, while Frankie and Rey work together against Andrade. So far, no one got eliminated as everyone who was working with their partners made sure they kept the other from getting eliminated. Ruby knew though it was only a matter of time until the first elimination.

But finally, someone did get eliminated first. It was Frankie after Sanity came out to eliminate him and began beating him down until the ringside officials came out to make the save. Ruby goes to check on Frankie, while the officials take Joe to the back. Soon, the show goes to commercial break as Ruby helps Frankie to the back.

*End of Commercial Break*

The show soon came back with Ruby coming back to watch the rest of the match. She was just glad Frankie is okay and just needs to rest up. When she came back, she saw Rusev getting eliminated along with Xavier Woods and Big E. This just left Kofi, Shinsuke, the Bar, the Usos, Rey, and Andrade left. She soon heard the crowd chanting Kofi's name and soon began getting behind the veteran.

The match really began picking up the pace as the next ones out are the Bar and the Usos as they begin brawling. This distraction caused the officials to go over to try keeping the two teams apart. However, they missed Rey eliminating Andrade, who noticed the referees didn't see his elimination. So, he goes back in the ring, hits a low-blow to Rey, and hits the Hammerlock DDT before eliminating him in front of the referees.

This soon left Andrade, Nakamura, and Kofi in the ring. The crowd began chanting loudly for Kofi as Ruby listens to the fans get behind him more. Ruby knew Kofi has been in WWE since 2007 and has never gotten a one-on-one shot at the WWE title. Sure, he has been in these sorts of matches before with the title on the line, but he has never won the title.

He has won every title in WWE, but the WWE title. So, for Kofi this is everything to him and he fought off both bad guys like his life depended on it. Nakamura went to eliminate Kofi, but Kofi managed to eliminate Nakamura, but then Andrade threw him over and he thought he won the match. However, only one foot hit the floor, so Kofi wasn't gone.

Andrade grabs Kofi and goes for the Hammerlock DDT, but Kofi got out of it and hits the Trouble in Paradise! Kofi then threw Andrade over and the crowd popped when won the match! Kofi is going to the Elimination Chamber and is getting his shot at the WWE title.

Ruby couldn't help but applaud for Kofi's amazing performance and couldn't wait to see him get the chance at the gold. However, she knew he will have to go through her first if he wants the title. And Ruby doesn't plan to make it easy for him. She will beat Kofi and everyone who gets in her way so she can regain what is rightfully hers…no matter what.

SmackDown 2/12/19

The show opened in Toledo, Ohio with the crowd cheering loudly. They know is five days it is the Elimination Chamber and they will see history made with for the first time ever, three Elimination Chamber matches. The first is for the Women's Tag Team titles, the second is for the World Heavyweight title, and the third is for the WWE title. It is a big opportunity for all those involved, and it is possibly their last chance to get close to the titles before WrestleMania.

It started off with a recap of last night with Vince McMahon announcing it will be Charlotte versus Jasmine Strong one-on-one. The winner will face Becky Lynch at Fastlane for her Royal Rumble title shot. However, he also decided that Jasmine will defend her title at the Elimination Chamber against Charlotte. Jasmine didn't mind this, but also made it clear to Vince when Charlotte loses, she will not get a free pass again because of what her last name is.

Vince didn't appreciate this and tells her not to tell him what to do. Jasmine didn't care and simply punched Vince in the face before hitting the Jackknife Powerbomb on him through the announce table to end the show.

Charlotte came out and began talking about how she is the backbone of the women's division. How the Man was simply a flash in the pan. The Queen promises to not only beat Jasmine, but also promise to end Ronda Rousey as well. Asuka soon came out and began mocking Charlotte for how she needed to have things handed to her after losing. Something Asuka has never experienced because unlike Charlotte, Asuka has never been pinned or submitted.

But she did make Charlotte tap out last year and soon she will do it again to whoever has the guts to fight her. Ronda Rousey soon came out and said that they have some unfinished business. She ignores Charlotte and doesn't care who fights her for the title at WrestleMania. Because in the end, she will walk out as champion.

She also challenges Asuka to a one-on-one match at Elimination Chamber. No titles on the line, just the two of them going at it as a rematch from Survivor Series. Asuka accepted, but Charlotte didn't appreciate being ignored. She attacks Asuka and Ronda, until Jasmine came out sending her running.

Jasmine then attacks Asuka and then hits the Jackknife Powerbomb on Ronda making it clear she means business.

The show soon continued with Naomi, Carmella, Bayley, and Sasha Banks going up against Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Nia Jax, and Tamina. With the Riott Squad and the Lucha Knights at ringside. It was a good way to kick off the first match of the night with the two teams going at it. Each member trying to gain momentum for Sunday.

They knew the Lucha Knights won a beat the clock challenge match so they will come into the chamber last. This gives them the advantage, but they knew it won't do them any good if the other teams don't get eliminated early on. So far, the four teams hitting their best moves and exhausting each other out was working to their advantage. The match came close to its end when Bayley gets tagged in and begins running wild as she gets the fans behind her.

Bayley prepares to get the win, when Nia comes into the ring to attack her. Soon, it turned into a brawl with the Riott Squad trying to get involved. But the Lucha Knights attacked them and soon the brawl broke out around the ring. Naomi tags herself in and gets the win for her team after a Split-Legged Moonsault getting the win.

The brawl continued though as each team hits their finishers on the other until officials come into the ring to break up the women. The crowd cheered on for the women and are looking forward to what is going to happen.

The next match has AJ Styles facing off against Eric Young one-on-one to get some payback from the last two weeks. It was announced it will be AJ Styles and Bad Influence versus Sanity in a six-man tag team match. It was AJ's team's chance to get back at Sanity for what they did costing them all their chance to be in the Elimination Chamber. The crowd got behind AJ as he took on Eric Young, who came out alone.

However, AJ knew it wouldn't be for long, so he began focus on taking Eric down soon and get the win. But of course, that is easier said than done. Eric wasn't a slouch and both men knew each other well. So, Eric was able to avoid any of AJ's big moves and managed to keep him down. That didn't stop AJ from fighting back and began regaining his momentum as he begins knocking Eric down.

AJ then sets things up for the finish, when Sanity came out to distract him. Eric took AJ down and set him up for the Piledriver. That was, until Daniels and Kazarian came running out to attack Sanity. They used the steel chairs on them and took down Eric's teammates. This allowed AJ to hit the Pele Kick and hit the Styles Clash before getting the one…two…and three!

AJ Styles and Bad Influence soon posed in the ring, while Sanity began to retreat to the back. AJ and Bad Influence got the momentum they needed going into the Elimination Chamber. They know the six-man Tag Team match won't be easy. However, they are still confident they will be able to win it all if they stick together and try not to let Sanity use their tricks to get the win.

Backstage

Ruby is in the back with Samoa Joe, Sakura Muta, the Miz, Kofi Kingston, and the WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan. They have all been asked to come together to do an interview to talk about this Sunday. All six, wearing their regular clothing since they were not in action. However, they were also told they would not lay a finger on one another before the show itself.

Ruby sat next to Sakura, Kofi, and Miz. All while Joe and Bryan sat near one another. Once everything is set up, Paige comes into the room ready to begin the interview. She motions for the cameraman to begin the interview and soon the production team has the feed be live. So, the fans watching in the arena and at home can see it.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the six participants for the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship, this Sunday. We have here Ruby Takashi, Sakura Muta, the Miz, Kofi Kingston, Samoa Joe, and the WWE Champion himself, Daniel Bryan," Paige introduced the participants as she sat between the participants.

"Now, in five days you six will have the chance to compete in the Elimination Chamber and have a chance to walk out with the WWE title. For two of you, this is your first time, for two of you this is your second time, and for the last two…this you have more experience than the rest of the participants."

The others knew who Paige is referring to as first timers, second timers, and who are the veterans of this match.

"So, my question to you six is…what does this match mean to each of you and why do you feel you will win it?" Paige also reminded them they have only one to two minutes to respond to give everyone a chance.

She first starts with Samoa Joe as she gives him the chance to speak. "What does this match mean for us? It means everything. I have watched every Elimination Chamber match from the very first one and I know how brutal it is. I know how dangerous it is, I know how it can shorten careers, and I know it is not a place for the weak…and it is my type of match."

Joe then turns to his opponents. "For me, this is a chance for me to fulfill my destiny. To have a chance to get what is rightfully mine and prove to the world why I am a force to be reckoned with. And if any of you decide to get in my way, I won't hesitate to destroy you all. This Sunday, I will win the WWE title and when I win it…I will be champion for a good long time, because I destroy everyone who gets in my way."

Paige then turns towards the Miz as he speaks up next. "Really? You think we're scared of you, Joe? Really?" Miz took off his sunglasses and stares right at Joe. "You think you're the first monster I have fought against? I have faced off against guys like you who made the same threats you made just now. The thing is though, I have beaten them all. I have faced off against the absolute best and most destructive superstars in this business and yet I always came out on top."

He then stood up from his seat and points to each of his opponents. "I know how tough you all are as well and I know this Sunday, I got hell waiting for me. But I have worked too hard to get back in the title hunt. I have busted my ass for eight years to get the opportunity to take back my WWE title. And I have a chance for my baby girl to see her daddy hold the gold."

For Miz, this is a very important moment for him, and he won't let it slip away from him. "They are counting on me and they believe in me. Even Shane believes that I can do this and believes I can be the face of this company again! So, I'm not going to let them down and I will do whatever I have to do to win," he then turns towards Samoa Joe. "So, make your threats, big guy. Because in the end, I'll be the one that will end up destroying you."

Paige makes sure everyone stays calm as she turns towards Sakura and have her take a turn. "Miz, I respect how much you love your family and how much you want to make your daughter proud. I know that feeling, because I want to make my father proud. You all know who he is and you know what he has done to make it to the top of the business."

All the wrestlers in the room know her father, is Keiji Mutoh aka the Great Muta. A man who has been wrestling since 1982. A man who has wrestled all around Japan, the United States, and all around the world. He is a legend in the business and is a man that Sakura looks up to as her hero.

"Growing up, I have always wanted to make my father proud. To carry on his legacy, to face off against the very best, and become one of the all-time greats like him. Something that hasn't been easy and seem almost impossible to do. That was, until I met the woman who broke down the barriers for me to get through," Sakura then turns to her best friend Ruby and smiled at her. "Its because of her, I made it in this business and since then I have taken all the opportunities, she provided to make my father proud. Now, I have a chance to do something he never had a chance to do. And that's win the WWE Championship."

Sakura points towards the title that Bryan has and is holding close to him. "I have a chance to win that title that has been around for more than five decades. It has been held by the very best in the business and all from different parts of the world. Thanks to my friend here, it has been held now by both genders. I not only plan to continue that legacy, but I plan to win the title and bring it back to my father to make him proud."

Paige thanks Sakura for sharing her story before going to Ruby as she saw her wiping away a tear from her eyes.

"You don't need to thank me, and you don't need to make your father proud. He's always been proud of you and what you have accomplished," said Ruby as she reassures her friend her father is already proud of her. "For me, this match is as brutal as Miz and Joe have described it. It is a match where people have gotten hurt, people have bled, and a match where careers have been cut in half. But it is worth it if you can win it. And that is something I plan to do again."

Ruby turns to Bryan and leans against her seat. "I lost that title because of two people who hated me and took it from me. Ever since then I have been fighting my way to get another chance to regain what is rightfully mine. A title I never got a rematch for, a title that I proudly defended on SmackDown for ten months, and a title I will take back no matter who gets in my way."

Ruby then turns towards Sakura and sighed. "Friend or foe. I don't care what I have to do, but in the end, that title is coming back with me. And I don't care if I have to break everyone's damn legs to do it. So, you all better be ready, because the wolf is on the hunt and she will take back what is hers," she then turns back to Bryan and points at the belt. "And that's not a promise, it's a damn guarantee, bitch."

Paige tries to calm things down, so the wrestlers won't try getting into an argument or fight as she turns to Kofi to speak up.

"I want to say first to Miz, you and I we have had our wars together. We have beaten the hell out of each other so many times, but in the end, we respect one another. Not just as wrestlers, but as fathers. I got two kids of my own, so I know what it's like to want to make them proud," said Kofi as Miz gives him a small nod understand what he is saying. "But when I look around this room and realized…I am the only guy here who has never been world champion. Not once. I never held the IWGP Heavyweight title, the NWA Heavyweight title, the Ring of Honor World title, and even the WWE title. I have won many titles in WWE, but there is one title that has eluded me, and it is the one title I never got a one-on-one shot for at all."

Kofi then points to Bryan and the title. "For 11 years, I have busted my ass in this company and have done almost everything. I never tried making any sort of waves since I love this job and I wanted to provide for my family. But now? I feel like this might be my last chance to ever get this shot."

"I feel like this might be my last best chance to hold the one title I have never won and have a chance to make history. For a lot of you, this is your chance to make your family proud, to prove to the world who you are, and make a wrong right again. But for me? This is my last chance to ever be WWE Champion," said Kofi knowing he doesn't have much time in this business.

37 years of age, he has done so much harm to his body since being in the ring, and now has a chance to win the one title that no black person has ever won? In the history of the title and this business. Well, this could be his chance to make history. And he isn't going to let it slip through his fingers.

"For me? This is one opportunity I won't let slip away from me. So fellas, bring me your best, because this Sunday you are all going to get my damn best," sad Kofi as the fans who are watching from the arena and around the world all chanted Kofi's name repeatedly.

Paige soon turns to Bryan who has his chance to finally speak up.

Bryan stood up and stood in front of his opponents. "I don't care what any of you want. I don't care how badly you want to win, how much you need this, and how this is your chance to make your family proud. I don't care about any of that because it is all going to be for nothing. None of you, deserve to be champion."

Bryan points to each one of his opponents. "None of you are worthy to be WWE Champions and none of you will ever beat me to win it. You know why? Because I am fighting for a much greater cause than your families, honor, or a chance at redemption. I am fighting for this planet, I am fighting to bring change, and I am fighting to save everyone."

Bryan holds his title in front of his opponents and mocks them all. "So, take a good long look, because this is the closest any of you will ever get near by title. This Sunday, I will beat you all and I will show everyone why none of you will ever be WWE Champion. So, go home and prepare your families to be left disappointed. Because this Sunday, none of you are walking out with my title."

Bryan soon left the interview and headed out to his car. Soon, everyone began taking off as well, until Ruby was left. She knew Bryan will do whatever it takes to keep his title. She didn't know what he will do to do it, but this interview did show her how much everyone wants to be champion. How they will do what they need to do to win it all.

She knew that determination and desire all too well. She knows this Sunday she is in for the fight of her life. If she plans to walk out with the title, then she better be ready. Because this Sunday, she is going to war.

That's the end of the chapter and it looks like everyone has a reason to win. I think Kofi though his reason is even greater. Yeah, to be in the company for so many years and win every title, except the big one? That is a horrible feeling, but glad he won it in the end.

It's just a shame his reign wasn't a memorable one. I can hardly remember any good matches he had as champion. His feud with Randy Orton is all I can remember. Even then, it wasn't as good as it was years ago.

Still, will I go down the same route as last year? Will things go differently? Will we see a new WWE Champion? And what surprises will I have in store for the Elimination Chamber chapters?

Check out the next chapter to find out and thanks again to my friend theXman99 for his help on the story. I appreciate it and glad this is going well. Also, thanks guys for the reviews and support. I appreciate it also and glad you are having a good time.

Now then, if you liked how things went then please leave a review. If you didn't like it then don't leave a flame review. They are not welcomed. Take care guys and see you all next time
