Chapter 61 is here folks and so far, things are going pretty well for NXT along with AEW. The main roster of WWE…eh not so much. I am looking forward to some of their WrestleMania matches. But I just wish they had a better build and there was more on the line. I mean, this is freaking WrestleMania.
Yet it feels like any other PPV, where every show has no good build. However, Rhea Ripley versus Charlotte Flair for the NXT Women's Championship is going to be an awesome match. It will help put the title over, provided they put Rhea over. Charlotte should not win it and Rhea should.
If she loses, then like Asuka, all that aura of how much of a tough bitch she is will all be gone. So, don't fuck this up WWE. You have a good thing with Rhea so don't blow it. Eventually they will though, they always do.
Anyways, last time we saw the Elimination Chamber didn't go well for Ruby. Still, it seems like she might get a second chance. I think you all know what that is. But will something else get in her way?
Check out the chapter to find out then and time to get started with the disclaimer. I don't own anything from WWE. I only own my OCs for the story. Also a big thanks to my friend theXman99 for his help and support.
Now, let the chapter begin and enjoy everyone.
What's next?
SmackDown 2/19/18
The show opens up with a video package to show what happened at the Elimination Chamber. It showed from the SmackDown side the SmackDown Tag Team Champions defeating the Bar to retain their titles. Followed by Sanity defeating AJ Styles and Bad Influence and were prepared to beat down their opponents. Until, the Wyatt Family appeared to make the save.
It then showed Asuka and Ronda's match ending with Becky Lynch coming out to beat the hell out of the two women. Showing she is not done with them and will win at Fastlane. Finally, it got to the main event with the WWE title on the line in the Elimination Chamber. It showed what all six participants had to go through to survive.
One-by-one it showed the participants getting eliminated during the match until it was down to Kofi Kingston and the WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan. The crowd chanting Kofi's name, the near-falls between the two men, and how close Kofi came to finally win the title. Until, he made one mistake and Bryan took advantage to retain his title.
The show soon opened with Shane McMahon announcing he will reveal who it was that attacked the Miz at the Elimination Chamber. He also announced SmackDown will have the NXT Superstars from last night on Raw to show up to their show. And how they will be in action. He also announced that later in the night there will be an announcement made to find out who will face Daniel Bryan at Fastlane.
The show soon continued with the first match of the night having Andrade going up against his former rival, Aleister Black. The two men pick up right where they left off in NXT, with both pushing back and forth against one another. Both men getting the crowd behind them and Black shining with the crowd. Andrade though looking to gain some momentum to get a push after losing this past Sunday.
Andrade managed to hit his Running Double Knees and almost got the win, but Black refused to go down. Soon, Black hits his Black Mass taking his opponent down and gets one…two…and three! Aleister Black got a big win on SmackDown and his second win on the main roster as the fans cheered him on.
The next match has the Bar going up against the NXT Champion, Tommaso Ciampa and the North American Champion, Johnny Gargano. It was a good match between the two teams with the Bar trying to regain some momentum after losing this passed Sunday. But the former best friends, Ciampa and Johnny managed to take down their opponents.
With both men going for the injured leg of Sheamus and the injured shoulder of Cesaro. However, during the match, Ciampa appeared to have injured his knee. Despite this though, both teams kept on fighting and kept trying to get the win. Both teams getting closer and closer until the Usos came out to distract the Bar.
Ciampa used this chance to get a blind tag in to get a Roll-up to win the match. The Usos then mocked the Bar and tells them its time for them to head to the back of the line. How they heard they wanted another shot at them, but that's not going to happen. To do the Usos a favor and walk away or else they'll put them down for good.
The show continued with Asuka coming out to talk about what happened this passed Sunday. She talks about how isn't happy that Becky got involved in her business. That she wanted to finish her fight with Ronda Rousey, but it was ruined by Becky. So, she challenged her to a match, but instead Mandy Rose came out with Sonya Deville.
Mandy begins talking about how she has become lost in the shuffle as of late when it comes to fighting for the title. How she doesn't appreciate being left out of the title hunt and its time for her to get what is hers. So, a match was set up between the two. Sonya got involved during parts of the match to help her partner, but was soon caught and kicked out by the referee.
This allowed Asuka to finally gain back control of the match and ended it by locking the Asuka Lock. She made Mandy tap out and afterwards Asuka posed with her title. All while she makes it clear she wants Becky Lynch. So, she can finish what she started at the Royal Rumble and take her out for good.
The next segment has Sanity coming out to talk about who they are and remind the WWE Universe of their accomplishments. How they dominated NXT when they arrived and how no one came close to beating them. How they were undefeated in NXT as a team until they finally came over to once again show their dominance. But since then it seems the fans have forgotten who they are.
So, they reminded the fans after they not only destroyed everyone that got in their way, but how they defeated AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Frankie Kazarian. But when they tried to finish them off, they were interrupted by another team. A team they were told had been the first dominant faction in NXT and the first to dominate the WWE, the Wyatt Family. Sanity made it clear that unlike previous teams, they will not be intimidated.
They made it clear that the Wyatt Family are a shell of their former selves. They are no longer the team that used to run NXT or WWE. Sanity is and they will do what no other team has done. They will put down the Wyatt Family for good.
The Wyatt Family interrupted Sanity on the titantron making it clear that they are right. Years ago, they were the most dominant team, but somewhere along the way they broke up. They have forgotten who they were and how united they were. But, thanks to the attack by Sanity on Bray weeks ago, it made them remember.
It made Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan remember who they were. How they destroyed every team that got in their way and how dangerous they were as a team. That is why they are going to remind Sanity just who they are. And how they will remind the WWE Universe why they should fear the Wyatt Family.
Bray soon finishes by telling Sanity to run, because the Wyatt Family are coming for them.
Backstage
Dasha Fuentes, one of the backstage interviewers is in the back getting ready to interview Jasmine Strong. "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, she is the WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion…Jasmine Strong."
Jasmine appeared and got cheered when the fans saw her as she held her title around her right shoulder.
"Jasmine, first of all congratulations on your big win this past Sunday defeating Charlotte Flair. How do you feel about your win?" Dasha asked.
Jasmine moves her hair back a little and thought about her answer before she replied. "I feel pretty good about it. I mean, not only did I beat the so-called 'queen' of the women's division. But I did it on my own without any help and without any excuses. I won my match and now I am one step away from getting a shot to fight Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania for the Raw Women's title…" she then smiled and rubs her chin a little. "Or maybe, fight the undefeated Empress of Tomorrow herself and take her SmackDown Women's title."
The crowd cheered loudly liking the idea of Jasmine taking on either one of the undefeated women.
"Either way, it doesn't matter to me. In the end, I'll walk into WrestleMania and walk out champion," said Jasmine who is confident she'll make history.
"Well, what about your opponent, Becky Lynch? We now know she is cleared to compete, but are you at all nervous about facing off against her?" Dasha asked as she also brings up about the promo Becky cut on Raw yesterday.
With Becky making it clear she isn't scared of Jasmine and vows she is going to break her arm. Jasmine didn't seem worried, especially how she knows Becky has her leg taped up when she came out.
"Why am I worried? Little Becky is feeling better and I'm supposed to be scared? No, she should be more scared of me and what I am going to do to her," said Jasmine making it clear she isn't worried. "At Fastlane, the Man will fall before the Terror from Down Under."
Before Jasmine can leave, Dasha brings up one more question. "Well, what are your thoughts on your opponent for the Women's Intercontinental title, Karina? She won a match this past Sunday and has a chance to fight you for the title at WrestleMania, but now she wants to fight you next week for the title. And how she wants it to be in a steel cage match."
Jasmine smiled a little bit and chuckled and shrugs. "She can make it a Hell in a Cell match. It doesn't matter to be though. In the end, I will still beat her and go into Fastlane still champion."
Jasmine soon took off and begins getting ready for next week.
Meanwhile
Ruby is in the back wearing her regular clothing since she wasn't in action tonight. Oh, she hated that since she was hoping to face off against Ciampa, Gargano, Ricochet, or Aleister Black. But she was told she needed to wait till next week since the doctors had to check her out after Sunday. Apparently, the guitar shot might have given her a concussion, so they need to finish going over some tests.
However, she was told to show up to discuss about what Triple H proposed to her. She had to wait though to see if the decision has been made or not.
As she waits, she sees Ricochet in action going up against Shinsuke Nakamura. Oh, this was a dream match that she has waited to see. Both men worked so well together, and Ruby knew both men knew each other well. They countered each other's moves and came close of beating the other.
With Nakamura getting close to the win as he went for the Kinshasa. However, Ricochet managed to avoid the move and hits a Poison Rana before he goes to the top rope. Ricochet hits the 630 Senton getting one…two…and three! Ricochet gets the win and the crowd cheered loudly for him.
Ruby loves that move and how smooth Ricochet looks when he flies into the air to hit it. She is looking forward to fighting him, but for right now she has her own business to attend to.
She sees Paige walking into the room and is carrying a clipboard.
"Well?" Ruby asked as she points to the clipboard. "Is that it?"
Paige shook her head in response. "The agreement has been made. However, Vince chose someone he feels is worthy of fighting Kurt so, a compromise has been made. At Fastlane it will be you versus Baron Corbin. Winner goes on to WrestleMania to fight Kurt Angle in his retirement match."
Two days ago, Triple H told Ruby how Kurt is retiring for good and is going to do it at WrestleMania. Ruby was sad to hear this, but she knew it was for the best. In WWE and outside of it, Kurt was a wrestling machine. He kicked ass, took on the very best, and won so many championship gold.
However, the years have not been too kind to him or to his body. Kurt's body has been physically destroyed and even he knew he wasn't going to last long. Ruby noticed it in his matches as of late and how he can't go any further. So, when he announced he is retiring at WrestleMania, she figured it was a good place to go out on.
So, when Triple H told her how Kurt chose four possible opponents to fight and she was one of them she was very happy to hear it. The other three were John Cena, Sting, and AJ Styles. Sadly, John was still out and felt someone young should take that spot. Sting was retired due to the injury he suffered during his match with Seth Rollins. And AJ Styles appeared to be set for another match at WrestleMania.
Ruby was happy that she'll get her chance, but after she beats Vince's latest pet project. "So, me and Corbin one-on-one? And when I win, I go on to WrestleMania to fight Kurt?" Ruby begins chuckling as she claps her hands together and lets out a happy sigh. "Sounds like this is going to be a lot of fun."
Paige hands Ruby the clipboard to sign so her match with Corbin can be confirmed. Ruby hands the clipboard back to Paige before she takes off to get ready for next week.
Later
The rest of the show continued on with the main event between the New Day, AJ Styles, and Bad Influence facing off against the WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan, the Usos, Randy Orton, and the Authors of Pain. In a 12-man tag team match where if Kofi's team wins, he will get another shot at the WWE title. All while, AJ Styles gets a shot against Randy Orton one-on-one. Before the match began, Bryan mocked Kofi and claimed he didn't deserve another shot at his title.
That he is a loser and he will always be one. Bryan even goes on to say this whole match was only made because he is being punished for winning and being punished for mocking the fans. But he will prevail, and he will prove once again why he will win again. This did not sit well with the good guys as they go after the bad guys and soon a brawl broke out.
Once the commercial break came back the good guys took control of the match and even got the crowd behind Kofi. However, Bryan's team took back control and begin beating down on AJ Styles as he tries to make the tag. Each time he comes close, Bryan has his teammates attack AJ's team to keep them from tagging the other in.
AJ thought kept on fighting and refused to go down as he managed to hit the Pele Kick on Orton after he went for the RKO. AJ makes the tag as did Orton to the leader of their teams as Kofi goes in to hit a Springboard Ax Handle to take Bryan down. Kofi then took out the rest of Bryan's team before he begins hitting his comeback moves. Kofi then begins setting things up for Trouble in Paradise, but the Authors of Pain come in to attack him.
Soon, the rest of the team comes in and the crowd cheered as each of the team begin hitting their finishers on the other until it is down to Bryan and Kofi. Kofi soon hits Trouble in Paradise to get the win! Kofi and his team begin to get the win. Now, Kofi will get his WWE title shot at Fastlane and will face Daniel Bryan one-on-one.
As this happens, backstage, Shane is in the back going over the security tape to see who attacked the Miz. As he watches on the look in his eyes go wide when he saw who the culprit is. The lights in the room go out and soon the sounds of a fight going on. The crowd booed when they couldn't see what is going on and who is attacking Shane.
Soon, a loud crash can be heard before the lights came back on. They soon saw Shane on the floor through a table where the TV was placed. Officials came running into the room and begin checking on Shane, while looking around at who attacked him. They saw another door in the room wide open and that is where the attacker escaped through.
They even saw the tape that Shane had borrowed to see who attacked Miz, was gone. Whoever attacked Miz not only took the footage that shows who did it, but now took out the only person who saw who did it.
SmackDown 2/26/18
The show opens up in Charlotte, North Carolina as they show a recap of what happened last week to Shane McMahon and Paige gives an update of how he is doing. How he suffered some bruises and a possible concussion. However, he will make a full recovery. But tonight, she is putting the show on lockdown.
She went over the footage of last week outside of the offices and revealed the attacker appeared to be around 6ft tall, husky, and wore a jacket with hood while a mask covered his face. So, whoever did this will be found, and she will make sure they pay for what they did. What everyone didn't know is she has a copy of the footage from Elimination Chamber to find out who did this.
This way they can find out the identity of the attacker without the attacker realizing they have a copy of the footage. But, its going to take some time since they have to do this without anyone finding out.
The show soon opened with the Hardy Boyz or rather the 'Woken' Hardy Boyz making their return as they go up against the Usos in a tag team match. It was a good decent match between the two sibling teams as the fans cheer on for the Hardyz who haven't teamed up in a long time. But they are hoping to work together again and get a shot at the titles. However, the Usos aren't going to make it easy for them to get any sort of win or momentum.
The Usos focused on beating down Jeff, while making sure his brother doesn't get tagged in. All while the fans chant Jeff's name and even chant 'Delete!' repeatedly. Soon, Jeff managed to hit a Whisper to the Wind on both Usos and tag his brother in. The crowd popped as 'Woken' Matt comes in and begins running wild on both Usos.
The Hardys gain some momentum back as they begin setting up for the finish. But the Usos knock Jeff down and go to finish off Matt, when Cesaro came out to distract them. He tried to get in the ring, but the referee kept him back. This allowed Sheamus to go to the top rope and hit a Shoulder Tackle taking down both brothers.
This allowed Matt to hit the Twist of Fate on Jey and Jeff hits the Swanton Bomb before getting the one…two…and three! The 'Woken' Hardy Boyz get the win over the champions! The crowd cheered loudly as Matt and Jeff celebrate their big win, while the Bar mock the Usos. Getting them back after what happened last week.
The Bar may not be getting a shot at the titles, but they made damn sure the Usos didn't get a win tonight.
The show continued with the contract signing between Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan for their WWE Championship match at Fastlane. Both men cut a promo on the other with Bryan insulting Kofi, while Kofi talks about this being a big moment for him. Bryan tells him he won't be winning the WWE title at Fastlane, while Kofi tells him he will not only win it, but he will make history.
However, before both men can sign the contract, Vince McMahon came out thanking Kofi for all he has done, but sadly he will not fight Bryan for the title. The crowd booed loudly at Vince, who continued to explain that he feels that the other participants in the Elimination Chamber match did just as great of a job in their match as Kofi did. That he feels this is not fair for the locker room not to get their shot at the title. So, he announced that next week there will be a Battle Royal. With the winner fighting Daniel Bryan for the WWE title at Fastlane.
The crowd and the New Day were not happy with this, while Daniel Bryan looks on happy with the decision. He leaves the ring and mocks Kofi, who is determined to earn his shot again and get the WWE title match he deserves.
Backstage
Karina is in the back getting ready for her upcoming match. She knew how important this match is for her, especially how she has a chance to win the title she felt she should have won at Night of the Cruiserweights. She sighed softly and begins getting her things ready knowing this is going to be a tough match. She could have picked a different match for her to compete in, but she wanted it in a cage so there will be no excuses.
It was also fitting to have it be in the same state as the first Starrcade show back in 1983. Sure, it isn't in the same city and arena since they are an hour and a half from each other. But, she knew the crowd will still love this. The good thing too is her girlfriend is here so she'll make her proud when she wins tonight.
She prepares to go out when she saw the door open and sees Ruby coming in. "How's it going?" Ruby asked as she gets a small shrug from her friend. "I take it your nervous about tonight?"
Karina nods in response. "I'm surprise to see you here since I thought you were focusing on your match with Corbin at Fastlane?"
Ruby knew this is true. Technically she isn't supposed to be here, but when she heard Corbin is showing up. Well, she decided to come by to hear what he has to say.
"You know me. I don't like doing nothing at home, especially when a certain lapdog shows up on my show," said Ruby as she pats her friend on the back. "But don't worry about it. Just focus on your match tonight and try not to get your ass kicked."
Karina chuckled softly knowing the odds of her not getting her butt kicked is not in her favor. "I know and thank you. And tonight, I am going to make history. Just you wait and see."
"I know you will and you'll win for sure," Ruby gives her friend a small hug and wishes her luck. "Now, if you excuse me. I'm off to see what the asshole is going to say."
Karina nods as she sees her friend leave and gets a text from her girlfriend. Karina reads it and sighs. Her girlfriend is wishing her luck and apologizes for not being out there at ringside to watch her compete. But because of her job she has to appear unbiased.
Karina understood and reassures her it is all okay. Once she wins tonight, they can go out for their date. Karina gets her things ready and makes her way out to face Jasmine. And hopefully, win the title.
Later
*I Bring The Darkness* begins to play as the crowd begins to boo loudly as Baron Corbin makes his way out. He looks around as the fans boo at him and show they are not happy to see him. He shrugs it off and has a cocky smile on his face as he heads towards the ring. He is looking forward to tonight and is looking forward to Fastlane where he will get some payback.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome from Monday Night Raw…BARON CORBIN!" Greg Hamilton announced as he hands the mic over to Corbin as he poses in the ring, while the crowd boo loudly at him.
Corbin begins mocking the fans as his music begins to die down to allow him to speak. After of course, the fans stop booing loudly at him to let him speak.
"Well, well. I bet none of you expected I would ever be back here on the second-rate show, huh?" Corbin spoke as the crowd boo loudly at him.
"Oh, believe me, I didn't want to come back here at all, but I am here strictly on business. So, you all heard the announcement from last week and its been made official. Apparently, some little girl decided to try challenging me to a match at Fastlane. She's challenging me because she got angry and threw a temper tantrum when she wasn't chosen by the chairman himself to fight Kurt Angle…" Corbin points the WrestleMania sign. "At WrestleMania."
Corbin can hear the crowd booing loudly at him and begin chanting 'You Suck!' repeatedly. "Go ahead, boo at me as much as you want. It doesn't matter, because you idiots don't see greatness like Mr. McMahon does! He sees great things for me, he knows I can get the job done, and he knows I am reliable. I mean, look at all my accomplishments and how I have proven I am the very best in the WWE."
"And unlike Ruby, I didn't need to cry about it. I didn't need to complain about it and I didn't have to go to any of you stupid morons for support," said Corbin as the crowd boo loudly at him, but he continues to ignore them. "So, you all better get used to this because at Fastlane, I will defeat Ruby Takashi and then at WrestleMania I will end the career of Kurt Angle. I have proven I am better than Kurt, I am stronger than Kurt, and after I end his career, I will go on to become world champion. And there is nothing Ruby or Kurt can do to…
*Painless* begins to play as the crowd cheered loudly. They see Ruby Takashi making her way out to the ring. Ruby comes out wearing her regular clothing as she got on one-knee and placed her right hand on the entrance stage. She then lets out a loud howl as the fans howl loudly with her.
Ruby took out a mic and begins to speak up with a southern accent while waving her hand to her face. "Oh, my oh my. I am so frightened. I am about to get in the ring with a big tall flabby man who clearly hasn't been taking good care of himself," this caused the fans to laugh as Corbin rolled his eyes at her little joke. "I mean, you make it sound like this is the first time we're about to fight…" it was then she dropped the accent and begins smiling. "Oh wait. No, it isn't. I fought you before and I kicked your ass."
The crowd cheered as they recall the two fighting before and how Ruby beat Corbin one-on-one while he was on SmackDown. "You know, back when you had hair and you didn't fight with your shirt on because your afraid of how people will judge how you look," she continued as she got on the apron. "I mean, you look stupid fighting in your business clothing, but hey if it makes you feel better than that's fine, I guess."
Ruby soon got in the ring and begins walking up to Corbin. "But boy, you think just because you went to Raw that things are different now? You better think again, because if you think for one second your going to beat me, you better guess again. If you go into Fastlane believing I'm going to be easy because I'm a woman and I'm smaller than you…" she begins to chuckle softly as she continued. "Well, ask Brock Lesnar what happened when he underestimated me. If you come into our match believing the same thing, he did…I'm going to make you tap out and make you my bitch too."
The crowd cheered loudly as Corbin stares down at Ruby knowing she isn't someone he should underestimate. But it doesn't mean he isn't someone who should be taken lightly too. Corbin was about to speak but then hits Ruby's head with the mic knocking her down. The crowd begin to boo loudly as Corbin begins to roll up his sleeves and begins attacking Ruby in the corner.
The crowd booed loudly as Corbin stomps Ruby in the corner with his foot as officials from the back come out to stop him. Corbin though keeps them back and yells at them before he grabs Ruby to hit her with the Ends of Days. However, Ruby pushes him back and sprays the green mist blinding him as Corbin falls to the mat. Ruby runs over and hits a Dropkick knocking her opponent to the outside.
Ruby sees Corbin getting up as he is still blind and can't see where she's at. Ruby hits the ropes and runs over a Suicide Dive taking him out before running back into the ring.
Ruby lets out a loud howl as she makes it clear she isn't going down so easily as Corbin hoped she would. Corbin begins to slowly recover as he takes off with security helping him out. Ruby soon poses in the ring and gets the crowd behind her. They know at Fastlane this is going to be a tough match, but Ruby is confident she will not only win, but she'll beat Corbin.
She then turns to the WrestleMania sign and makes it clear she is going to win the whole thing. One way or another she's going to WrestleMania and she will fight Kurt Angle.
Later
The show soon continued with the match between Randy Orton and AJ Styles never happened after the Authors of Pain came out to beat the hell out of AJ. AJ tried his best to fight off all three men, but they were too much for him as Orton has the Authors of Pain hit him with a double Chokeslam. Orton then takes two chairs and hits AJ with the RKO through the chairs.
It is later revealed that at Fastlane it will be a big ten-man tag team match. With AJ Styles teaming up with Ricochet, Aleister Black, Seth Rollins, and Finn Bálor against Randy Orton, the Authors of Pain, Dean Ambrose, and the World Heavyweight Champion, Bobby Lashley.
But now, after what just happened the odds of AJ making it to Fastlane is now looking very slim.
*Black and Yellow* begins to play as the fans cheered loudly as Karina Khan came out wearing red tights, red singlet, wears a blue/gold t-shirt over her singlet, black elbow pads with arm sleeve over them, knee pads, blue/gold boots, & red scarf over her mouth.
"The following contest is a Steel Cage match for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship!" Greg Hamilton announced as he goes over the rules as they go back to the old rules. "The only way to win this is match is by escaping the cage. Introducing first, from London, England…KARINA KHAN!"
Karina heads towards the ring as the crowd cheer her on and goes to see the cage in front of her. Karina removes her scarf and heads it to the official as she goes into the ring. She looks around the cage and knows this is going to be a tough match. But she is confident she'll not only win it, but she'll win the title.
*Hurt* begins to play next as Jasmine Strong came out getting the crowd to cheer loudly for her as she is wearing a different clothing than before. She came out wearing her black leggings with black shorts, tube top, and west with hood covering her head.
"And introducing her opponent, from Sydney, Australia, she is the WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion, the Terror from Down Under…JASMINE STRONG!" Greg Hamilton announced.
Jasmine does her dab pose before she heads to the ring and has her title around her waist. Jasmine gets to the cage and hands her title to the referee before she gets in the ring. Jasmine poses in the middle of the ring, while Karina waits in the corner. Soon, the bell rings and the match now can begin between the two women.
Karina starts off by avoiding Jasmine who tries to grab her. She ducks her first attempt to grab her and Karina kicks her in the left leg. Jasmine tries again to grab her, but Karina manages to avoid her hands and kicks both legs before she rolls out of the way. Jasmine didn't let this stop her as she goes after her again, but Karina tries to roll away again.
But Jasmine managed to grab her and then throws her into the corner. Jasmine goes for a punch, but Karina ducks it and begins kicking her in the chest repeatedly before she jumps up to kick her in the side of her head. Karina gets the fans behind her as they cheer her on. Karina gores back to attack her opponent, but Jasmine grabs her by the throat before throwing her into the corner.
Jasmine begins kicking Karina repeatedly in the chest before she begins choking her with the boot to the throat. Jasmine then stops and moves Karina along the ropes until she whips her off. Jasmine goes for a Big Boot, but Karina slides between her legs and jumps on the middle rope to hit a Springboard European Uppercut! Jasmine staggers back from the move as Karina hits the ropes and goes for a Springboard Roundhouse Kick causing her to get knocked on one-knee.
Karina yells loudly as she goes for a Springboard Crossbody, but Jasmine caught her and lifts her for a Powerslam position. Jasmine then goes to throw her into the cage, but Karina begins fighting back as she drives her elbows to the side of her head. Karina lands behind her and pushes her into the cage as she hits it. Karina sees her chance as she hits the ropes and goes tackle her into the cage wall again.
Jasmine though caught her and throws her into the cage. Karina though managed to grab the cage wall and begins to try to escape, but Jasmine grabs her and tries to pull her down. Karina kicks her away and leaps off as she wraps her legs around Jasmine's neck to try hitting her with a Hurricanrana. Jasmine though held on to her and lifts her up before she throws her into the cage wall!
Karina goes down as Jasmine begins to recover with the fans cheering for both women on. The show soon began to go into commercial break as the title match continued.
*End of Commercial Break*
The show soon came back as Karina hit the ropes and goes for a Wheelbarrow Facebuster, but Jasmine caught her and hits a Wheelbarrow Suplex right into the cage wall! Jasmine begins getting up as she sees Karina lying on the mat, while the crowd chant her name. Jasmine shakes her head knowing there is no way she is going to beat her. Jasmine picks up Karina and throws her into the corner before she tells the fans to be quiet and hits a big chop on Karina's chest.
The crowd let out a loud 'Woo!' response as Jasmine does it again hitting her opponent with another chop to the chest. She then does it one more time before she hits her with a T-Bone Suplex sending her across the ring. Jasmine looks around knowing she could just escape now, but she wanted to send a message to Becky Lynch. Jasmine runs over and goes for a Running Big Boot in the corner, but Karina moves out of the way and Jasmine's right leg gets caught on the top rope.
Karina goes to the top rope and leaps off to hit a Diving Double Foot Stomp into Jasmine's chest knocking her down. The crowd cheered loudly as Karina gets the crowd going. Karina runs over and hits Jasmine with a Shining Wizard to the back of the head before she hits the Slice Bread! The crowd cheered loudly as Karina sees her chance to now escape as she begins climbing up the cage to go over.
Jasmine though begins to recover and staggers her way to stop her opponent from escaping. Karina managed to get near the top when Jasmine grabbed her left leg and begins pulling her down. The two men soon begin fighting on the top rope as they kept their balance to fight. Karina chops Jasmine in the chest, but Jasmine returns with a big chop of her own.
Karina yells loudly and chops her back harder, but Jasmine chops her again just as hard as the first. Karina kicks out Jasmine's left leg and then surprises the crowd as she tries to lift Jasmine. But Jasmine refused to go up and pushes Karina against the cage wall in the corner. Jasmine goes over to her and grabs her by the throat as she goes for a super Chokeslam from the top.
Jasmine lifts her up, but Karina lifts her legs around her neck and hits a Hurricanrana! The crowd popped for the move as both women are now down as they begin to chant 'Holy Shit!' repeatedly.
Karina begins slowly recovering first as she sees Jasmine slowly getting on one-knee. Karina runs the ropes to try hitting a Roundhouse kick to the face, but Jasmine caught her leg and spins her before she hits a Cobrat Clutch Backbreaker! Jasmine then wraps her arms around her opponent's waist then hits her with three Gutwrench Suplexes without letting go until the third. Jasmine gets up and shakes her head as she tries to shake off the pain.
Jasmine decides its time to go and begins to make her way to the cage door. As she goes to it, she sees Charlotte Flair coming through the door and slams the door into her face. Jasmine falls back as Charlotte gets booed by the crowd for interfering in the match. Charlotte ignores them and grabs a chair before she makes her way inside.
Charlotte takes the chair and slams it to the back of Jasmine! This was payback for costing her the chance to fight Becky at Fastlane. Charlotte kept on fighting Jasmine's beck repeatedly as the crowd boo at her. Charlotte soon takes the chair and goes to hit her opponent in the head, when the crowd begin cheering loudly as Becky Lynch came out to grab the chair.
Becky then kicks Charlotte in the gut and uses the chair to slam it to her back. The crowd cheered loudly as Becky repeatedly slams the chair to Charlotte's back until she drops the chair and yells loudly. Becky goes to attack her opponent when Jasmine leaps up and hits her with a Spear! The crowd booed as Jasmine begins recovering from the chair shots to her back.
Jasmine tries to shake it off as she sees Becky and Charlotte slowly getting up. She turns to them angrily as she grabs both women by the throat. Jasmine then goes for a double Chokeslam, when the crowd begin to cheer loudly. Karina managed to recover from Jasmine's attacks and made her way to the top of the cage. However, she didn't try to escape, but instead hits a Diving Crossbody landing on all three women!
The crowd begin chanting 'Holy Shit!' and 'This is Awesome!' as the four women lay on the mat with the fans cheering this match on. Karina slowly gets up and begins trying to escape as she goes to the cage door. As she gets closer to the door, Jasmine grabs her by the leg and pulls her back before she stomps on her right hand! Karina yells in pain as she held her hand, while Jasmine grabs her by the throat before lifting her up and tossing her into the cage wall.
Jasmine then sets her up for a Jackknife Powerbomb as she prepares to finish this match. She lifts her up, but then Becky slams her with the chair to the back, knocking Karina down. Becky grabs the chair and goes to use it again, but Charlotte took the chair away and goes to use it. But Becky ducks and Jasmine gets hit in the head by the chair! Charlotte looks a little surprised by this as Becky grabs Charlotte hten throws her into the cage wall before she begins to make her leave.
Karina sees Jasmine getting on her knees as tries to recover. Karina runs over and hits her Roundhouse Kick to the back of the head! Karina then gets up as she sees Becky opening the cage door and is stepping out of the ring. Karina hits the ropes and runs over hitting a Suicide Dive on Becky as she knocks her into the floor, and Karina won the match!
The referee calls for the bell and Karina wins after she escaped the cage, which means she won the title!
"Here is your winner and the neeeeeeeeeeew! WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion…KARINA KHAN!" Greg Hamilton announced as the fans cheered loudly and were happy that Karina won!
Karina is given the title and has her hand raised as Karina held the title in her hand looking shocked. She really did it. She not only defeated Jasmine, but she won her first title in the WWE. She was in disbelief, but here it is in her hand. The Women's Intercontinental title.
Karina yells loudly and holds her title high as Becky recovers from what happened. She sees Karina making her way up the ramp and decides to let her little dive attack slide. She looks in the ring, Jasmine looking pissed off at what just happened. She not only lost the match, but she lost her title, which she held for 242 days.
Jasmine yells loudly in anger as Becky just had a big smile on her face and begins heading off through the crowd. Jasmine grabs Charlotte and hits her with a Jackknife Powerbomb before she yells at Becky. She knows now this has become personal between the two women. Not only will Jasmine make her pay, but she is going to kick her ass.
Karina, meanwhile, continues her celebration as she poses with her title on the entrance stage. Luna Guerrera and Olivia Knight soon came out and begin celebrating with their friend. They lift her on their shoulders and cheer her on. The fans cheered her on as Karina celebrates her win tonight on becoming the new Women's Intercontinental Champion.
SmackDown 3/5/19
The show opens in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and with a recap video of last week with the steel cage match. Between Jasmine Strong and Karina Khan for the Women's Intercontinental Championship. It was a great match between the two women, which unfortunately ended up in controversy. The match had outside interference from Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch.
The match ended with Karina Khan defeating Jasmine Strong and winning the title. The video soon ended with Karina celebrating with her friends, while Jasmine points towards Becky to get back at her for what she did.
The show soon opens with the Miz making his return to the WWE with the fans cheering loudly for him. The Miz head into the ring to talk about what happened at the Elimination Chamber. He explains that he was backstage getting ready for his match when he got into an argument with someone. The next thing he knew, someone came up from behind and attacked him, while the person he argued withstood by doing nothing and then ran off.
The Miz doesn't know who took him out, but he did know two things. One, whoever it is took out Shane too and the other is the person he argued with is fully aware who did it yet did nothing to stop it. The Miz admits he isn't a saint. He had done terrible things, but this is different.
Shane believed in him and wanted him to succeed on SmackDown. He wanted him to become the face of his show and he vowed he wouldn't let him down. So, he vows he will make the one who took both him and Shane out pay for what he did. But first, he wants to make the guy who saw everything pay first.
So, he challenges the guy to a match this Sunday at Fastlane and when eh wins he wants him to reveal to the world who attacked him…the NXT World Cruiserweight Champion, Buddy Murphy. The crowd seemed shocked that Buddy Murphy knows who attacked Miz and Shane. Yet, didn't say anything to anyone about it.
But now, the challenged has been made. The Miz vows to make Buddy pay and reveal to the world who attacked him. If he doesn't tell the world then Miz will make him talk. Until he tells everyone who did it.
The Miz is soon interrupted by the WWE Champion, 'the new' Daniel Bryan. Bryan begins insulting Miz and how if anyone should be blamed for him being taken out its himself. Bryan thinks of it as karma coming back to bite him on the ass for all the terrible things he has done and how he got what he deserved. Bryan then tells Miz he should be lucky he isn't the one who took him out, because if he did, he wouldn't have come back.
The Miz though didn't seem worried as he responded by telling Bryan how he knows it wasn't him that took him out. The Miz knows whoever took him out hit a lot harder than Bryan and did a better job than Bryan would have done. Bryan didn't like this and claims he didn't have to stand for this, so he tried to walk out. However, the general manager, Paige came out and decided since Bryan wants to run his mouth then he will face off against Miz in a six-man tag team match.
So, the Miz teamed up with the 'Woken' Hardy Boyz as they go up against the WWE Champion, 'the new' Daniel Bryan against the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, the Usos. It was a decent opener as the two teams went back and forth with the Usos looking to gain momentum ahead of their title match against the 'Woken' Hardy Boyz. However, the Hardy Boyz showed they weren't going down so easily and planned to show their win last week wasn't' a fluke.
The Miz and Daniel Bryan soon went at it with the fans cheering behind Miz, while booing at Bryan. The Miz began making his comeback and soon got the match going to his side. The Miz began setting things up for the finish when the Usos got involved and soon the Hardy Boyz got in the match. It soon broke down to a brawl where the Usos and the Hardy Boyz fought through the crowd.
Bryan went for the Running Knee and missed as Miz moved out of the way. Bryan hits the corner and hurts his knees as Miz hits the Skull-Crushing Finale! The Miz goes for the cover getting one…two…but Bryan kicked out! The Miz prepares to go for the Figure-Eight when the NXT Cruiserweight Champion, Buddy Murphy got involved distracting him.
This allowed Bryan to go for an Inside Cradle getting one…two…but Miz kicked out! Buddy continues to distract the referee as Bryan hits a low blow. Bryan goes for the finish when Kofi Kingston came out and pulled Buddy Murphy off the apron to attack him. This distraction allowed the Miz to get a Roll-up on Bryan getting one…two…and three!
The Miz has defeated the WWE Champion and has gained momentum for his match this Sunday. Kofi begins heading to the back while applauding Miz on his win. All while Daniel Bryan looks on angrily at what happened and couldn't believe he lost his match. All thanks to Kofi who continued getting under the skin of Daniel Bryan.
Backstage
Ruby is in the back getting ready for her last match before this Sunday at Fastlane. To get herself ready, she is going one-on-one from Monday Night Raw against…Drew McIntyre. Oh, Ruby remembers fighting against Drew back before he left to WWE the first time and then afterwards. She is looking forward to fighting him and couldn't wait to see how good he has gotten since their last match in ICW.
As Ruby got ready, she saw the rest of the show continued with Randy Orton with the Authors of Pain joining him at ringside. Orton talks about how this Sunday he is going to team up with his friends the Authors of Pain, the Intercontinental Champion, Dean Ambrose, and the World Heavyweight Champion, Bobby Lashley.
They are teaming up where the winning team gets to pick the stipulations for their matches at WrestleMania. Orton begins insulting AJ Styles and bring up how his team has no chance of beating them. He knows this because last week he took out AJ Styles last week and now he won't be at the show. So, the odds of his team winning is very slim.
However, he is gladly looking forward to seeing how his team will win without him on their side. Soon, Aleister Black came out with Ricochet and revealed that yes AJ Styles is not going to make it to Sunday. However, AJ did find a replacement for him and the person will be revealed Sunday. But for right now?
Aleister Black wants a match with Randy Orton. Orton accepted and soon the two men went at it. Ruby watched the match carefully and loves this since it was a big chance for Black to get a big win. The two men went back and forth with both men hitting their best moves. Each one trying to get the win over the other.
The Authors of Pain tried to get involved to help Orton win, but Ricochet ran over to hit a big dive on both men. They caught him and tried to throw him away when Aleister Black dove out of the ring into the men. Orton went for the RKO, but Black managed to get him for a Backslide. Orton kicked out at two and when he stood up, Black hit him with the Black Mass!
Aleister Black went for the cover getting one…two…and three! Aleister Black got the big win and the fans cheered loudly as he left the ring with Ricochet. The two cheered for both men as Orton is helped up by the Authors of Pain. Orton knows that tonight is just a minor setback.
But come Sunday, there will be no miracle for Aleister Back of his friends.
As Ruby gets ready to get going, she sees the door opening and sees Paige coming in. "Hey, how's Shane doing? I heard he should be ready to come back by next week?"
Paige nods in response as she lets out a small sigh. "Yeah and this Sunday we're going to get the tape of what happened. I just wish it didn't take them so long to get it over."
"I know, but hey at least we'll find out who did it soon," said Ruby as she begins clearing her throat. "So, about my match this Sunday, no shenanigans?"
Paige shook her head and reassured her it will be okay. "I have it on good word it will be down to just to two of you. No outside help and no interference. Kurt has already threatened to suspend anyone who gets involved and miss WrestleMania."
Ruby is happy to hear this, and she knows no one is going to risk missing WrestleMania for Baron Corbin. "Good to know. I am not going to let this third chance of me going to WrestleMania slip through my fingers. Thanks Paige and say hi to Karina for me."
Ruby soon took off, while Paige couldn't help but smile a little. "I plan to do more than just say hi to her," she said to herself as she took off to her office.
Later
The show continued with Karina Khan and the Lucha Knights facing off against Charlotte Flair, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville in a six-women Tag Team match. Charlotte came out talking about how Karina should be thanking her for what she did last week. How it was because of her she won the title and how it was because of her she defeated Jasmine Strong. She tells Karina to make sure to keep the title nice and clean because come WrestleMania she is taking the title from her.
Karina came out telling everyone how she didn't ask for Charlotte to get involved and didn't need her help to win the match. But what she did deserve was the ass-kicking Jasmine gave her during and after the match. This soon led to the tag match with the Lucha Knights helping take control as they take down Sonya and Mandy. The crowd cheered on for the former champions who are looking to invoke their rematch clause at WrestleMania.
Soon, the match turned to the side of Charlotte's team when they began beating down on Luna and kept her from tagging in her partners. Charlotte even mocked Karina and slapped her in the face. This mocking though allowed Luna to take Charlotte down and tag in Karina. Charlotte though tags Mandy in and soon the new Women's Intercontinental Champion took her frustration out on her.
Karina soon begins setting things up for the finish, until Charlotte and Sonya got involved. The Lucha Knights took down Sonya and Charlotte before they hit a big dive move to the outside. Mandy tried to take advantage with a Roll-up, but Karina kicked out and hits a kick to the side of her head. Karina then hits the Cradle Shock on Mandy getting one…two…and three!
Karina and the Lucha Knights got the big win as the crowd cheered loudly for the three women. All while Charlotte looks on angrily and vows, she will not miss WrestleMania. Much less let her chance of walking out with a title slip through her fingers. She heads to the back and will make damn sure she gets her title shot.
*Gallantry* begins to play as Drew McIntyre begins making out of the ring as the crowd booed loudly as he heads to the ring.
"The following contest is set for one-fall! Introducing first, from Ayr, Scotland, weighing in at 265 pounds…DREW MCINTYRE!" Greg Hamilton announced as Drew gets in the ring and poses on the top rope as he looks to get a big win tonight.
*Painless* begins to play as Ruby Takashi makes her way out getting cheered loudly by the crowd. Ruby gets on one-knee as she placed her right hand on the entrance stage before she lets out a loud howl as she heads towards the ring.
"Introducing his opponent, from Tokyo, Japan, she is the Wolf of the Rising Sun and the Empress of Japan…RUBY TAKASHI!" Greg Hamilton announced as he exits the ring.
Ruby heads towards the ring as she gets ready for her match. She knew she had to survive this match and then survive Sunday to go on to WrestleMania. She gets to the ring and makes way to the top rope as she howls loudly to the crowd. She sees Drew waiting for her in the ring as she jumps down and the two soon begin going at it.
The referee rings the bell and the match begins as the crowd cheered on for Ruby. The two competitors keep going at it until Drew pushes her into the corner. Drew goes for a punch, but Ruby ducks it and kicks him into the corner before hitting him with a chop. Drew returns with a hard chop as the crowd let out a loud 'Woo!'.
Drew does it again, but Ruby returns with multiple palm thrusts to the chest before she hits a backhand then kicks his left leg out before she hits the ropes. She runs back at Drew and hits him with a Dropkick knocking him to the mat as he rolls to the outside. Ruby hits the ropes again and goes for a big dive, but Drew moved out of the way.
Ruby though grabbed the ropes and landed on the apron before she runs over to kick him in the side of the head causing him to stagger away. Ruby runs over and Drew tries to trip her over, but she leaps over his arm and lands on the middle turnbuckle before she hits a Moonsault landing on Drew.
Ruby grabs Drew by the hair and then slams his head on the announce table repeatedly before the referee goes to the outside to tell her to get back in the ring. Ruby held on to Drew's head and goes to throw him back in the ring, but Drew drives his knee into Ruby's gut. Drew slams her head on the apron and then lifts her up to hit a Back Suplex as he drops her on the apron.
The crowd booed loudly as the referee checks on Ruby. Drew shakes his head to recover from what happened and pulls her off the apron. Drew then goes to whip her to the barricade, but Ruby leaps over the barricade to land on the floor. Drew runs at her, but Ruby leaps up to kick him in the head.
Ruby jumps on the barricade and then leaps over to hit the Tornado DDT on the floor! The crowd cheered loudly as the referee checks on both competitors as the show begins going to commercial break.
*End of Commercial Break*
The show soon comes back with Drew holding on to Ruby's left arm and trying to wear her down. During the commercial break, Ruby tried to whip Drew into the steel steps, but he reversed it and threw her into the steps hurting her left shoulder. The crowd cheer for Ruby as she begins fighting back. She gets up on her feet and begins hitting Drew's side trying to get her arm freed.
But Drew brings his forearm down on her shoulder knocking her back down on the mat. Drew picks her up and whips her hard into the corner as Ruby hits it then falls to the mat once more. The crowd boo at Drew as he looks on looking as aggressive and intense as always. Drew grabs Ruby and picks her up before hitting her with a Suplex!
Drew goes for the cover getting one…and Ruby got a shoulder up. Drew grabs her left arm and continues trying to wear her down. Ruby though refused to give up and kept on fighting as she tries to get back on her feet. Drew though kicks her in the gut and then whips her into the corner again.
Drew runs over to attack her, but Ruby lifts both feet up then pushed him back. Ruby runs over, ducks a Big Boot, and pulls his right leg out so he falls on his back. Ruby gets up and hits a Back Senton before she goes to the cover getting one…but Drew kicked out. Ruby grabs Drew's left leg and tries to lock in the Heel Hook submission hold, but Drew kicks her away and gets his leg freed.
Ruby gets up as she stayed in the corner as Drew comes at her. Ruby leaps over the ropes as Drew hits the corner. She runs over and kicks him right in the head before she pushes forward. Ruby goes to the top rope and hits the Blockbuster!
She then rolls him over, gets behind him, and goes for the Rolling German Suplex! Drew though holds on to the corner and Ruby is pushed backwards. Ruby runs back and Drew lifts her up before dropping her on the top turnbuckle! Drew then hits her with a Alabama Slam!
Drew goes for the cover getting one…two…but Ruby got a shoulder up! Drew begins shaking his head as the crowd chant for Ruby's name. Drew then goes to the corner as he goes for the Claymore. Drew waits for it as Ruby begins getting up slowly.
Drew goes for the Claymore, but Ruby hits a Superkick! Drew staggers back as Ruby grabs his waist from behind and then pushes him into the corner for the Rolling German Suplex! Ruby rolls him on his knees and hits another Superkick! Ruby then goes to the top rope and hits a Frog Splash!
Ruby, however, isn't done as she pulls Drew to the middle of the ring as she locks in the Heel Hook submission hold! Drew tries to escape from the hold, but Ruby tightens her hold to the point it would be too much for her opponent. Drew soon begins tapping out and the referee calls for the bell. Ruby lets go of the hold and is declared the winner.
"Here is your winner, by submission…RUBY TAKASHI!" Greg Hamilton announced as Ruby begins getting up slowly.
Ruby has her right arm raised and the crowd cheered loudly for her. Ruby rubs her left arm and feels a little bit of pain, but not as bad as before. Ruby has gained momentum going into her match against Corbin. She knows she will beat him, and she will go on to WrestleMania to fight Kurt Angle.
As Ruby begins celebrating as the crowd begin booing loudly. Ruby turns around and gets hit with a steel chair by Baron Corbin! Corbin is on SmackDown and came through the crowd. Corbin slams the chair down on Ruby's back as she fell to the mat.
The crowd continued booing loudly at him before Corbin drops the chair in the middle of the ring. Corbin grabs Ruby and hits the End of Days on the chair! The crowd booed loudly as Corbin poses over Ruby's body. Now Corbin is the one who has gained the momentum going into Fastlane.
Corbin points to the WrestleMania sign and makes it clear he will go on to WrestleMania. So he can end the career of Kurt Angle and cement that as his legacy.
Later
It was now time for the main event with the Battle Royal involving 20 participants: R-Truth, Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio, Andrade, Christopher Daniels, Shinsuke Nakamura, Frankie Kazarian, Sanity, the Wyatt Family, Rusev, Sakura Muta, Mustafa Ali, the New Day, and the final entrant WWE Hall of Famer…Jeff Jarrett.
The crowd cheered loudly when they saw Jarrett coming out and chanted his name. All while Daniel Bryan is at ringside on commentary with his WWE title.
The match starts off with the New Day working together, while most of the bad guys appeared to be trying to eliminate Kofi. The first group to go though are the Wyatt Family and Sanity after they got eliminated from the match. They then began to brawl as the fans cheer them on. It was revealed that at Fastlane there will be a match between one of the members from both groups.
Winners will get to pick their stipulation for their match at WrestleMania. Once they were gone the match continued on with 14-wrestlers left in the match. R-Truth and Jarrett work together as they begin going to try eliminating Samoa Joe. Rusev gets eliminated by the New Day as the three men work together.
The show went into commercial break just as R-Truth got eliminated by Samoa Joe and Joe hit the Muscle Buster on Jarrett who rolled to the outside. When the show came back from commercial break more eliminates occurred. Frankie is soon eliminated by Joe and soon Daniels is gone after Nakamura hits him with the Kinshasa to the back of the head. He is helped out of the ring when they saw he was unconscious and help him to the back.
Xavier and Big E are eliminated after Bryan got on the apron to distract them. Joe and Nakamura eliminate both men, which means Kofi is all alone. However, Sakura and Mustafa eliminate both Joe and Nakamura getting the crowd cheering them. Until Joe grabs Ali and eliminates him before he begins beating the hell out of him.
This left only four participants left as the crowd cheered loudly for Kofi. Rey got eliminated next by Andrade and Sakura got eliminated by Kofi leaving only two men left. Kofi came close to winning the match, until Bryan got in the ring and hits him with the title belt. This allowed Andrade to win the match and begins celebrating as he will get his WWE title shot.
The crowd booed loudly as Kofi looks on that he not only lost, but it was because of Daniel Bryan. Bryan took off to the entrance stage with his title and poses with it. Andrade continued his celebration with Zelina until the crowd begin cheering loudly. Andrade turned around in confusion and gets hit with a guitar by Jeff Jarrett!
Jarrett was never eliminated and was still in the match. He grabs Andrade and eliminates him over the top rope! The crowd cheered as Jarrett begins celebrating his win. The hall of famer has a chance to win the one title he has never won and the one title he has dreamed of holding…the WWE Championship.
Daniel Bryan looks on shocked and gets angry that Jarrett won. Jarrett points to Bryan and motions he wants his title. Kofi got in the ring and shook Jarrett's hand congratulating him. But Jarrett pulls Kofi in for a hug and tells him he'll get his chance, but to not give up.
Kofi thanks Jarrett and the two men celebrate, while Bryan heads to the back in anger. Anger that he has to defend his title at Fastlane against someone the fans love and hopes wins the title.
That's the end of the chapter and looks like Jeff Jarrett is going to Fastlane. I am really pushing him a lot huh? Also, yeah, no Kevin Owens or Mustafa Ali for the show. I had planned to do that, but I decided to have KO come back for something else. Ali also, I was originally gonna have him fight Bryan, but I also wanted him to finish his feud with Samoa Joe.
So, had to make some changes. Still, what does this mean for Kofi? How will he make it to WrestleMania? Will he get another chance to go on to the showcase of the immortals?
Also, Ruby better be ready because Corbin is not going to lose his chance to fight Kurt. But, will this attack help him weaken his opponent or will this just piss off Ruby? What else is going to happen at Fastlane? And how will the line-up look with all the changes I made?
Check out the next chapter to find out and also thanks again to my friend theXman99 for his help on the story. I appreciate it and glad this is going well. Also thanks guys for the reviews and support. I appreciate it also and glad you are having a good time.
