Chapter 63 is here folks and one more chapter to go before WrestleMania. I am looking forward to it, especially how I am trying to make sure I include a lot of the matches for the show. Also, I want to thank everyone again for the support of the story. I appreciate it and I enjoy reading your reviews.

Also, once again I want to thank those who show up to the promotion I work at. I appreciate it guys and I'm glad everyone is having a good time when they come down for our show. The guys give it their all for the fans and the fans show their support for their hard work. And can't wait for us to go back to Comic-Con to perform for the fans.

Also looking forward to Dustin Rhodes showing up to the convention. I hope to meet him and I wonder if he'll see some of the matches the guys will perform. Maybe even give some advice to the guys. Only time will tell.

Anyways, last time we saw how Fastlane went for everyone. Now, we are on the final road to WrestleMania. How will things go for Ruby and the others? Think they'll do well once WrestleMania arrives?

Will they all gain the momentum they need? What other matches will be set up for the show? Will we see more title matches? And who will make it?

Check out the chapter to find out then and time to get started with the disclaimer. I don't own anything from WWE. I only own my OCs for the story. Also, a big thanks to my friend theXman99 for his help and support.

Now, let the chapter begin and enjoy everyone.

Last Ride before WrestleMania

SmackDown 3/12/18

The show opens with a highlight video of what happened this past Sunday at WWE's Fastlane pay-per-view. It showed Samoa Joe defeating Mustafa Ali to retain his United States Championship. It showed Kofi Kingston surviving the gauntlet match, where he defeated six men in order to earn his title shot at WrestleMania. It then showed Ruby Takashi facing off against Baron Corbin and beating him by submission.

It then showed the controversial ending between Jasmine Strong and Becky Lynch, which resulted in both women going on to WrestleMania. Where they will fight Raw and SmackDown Women's Champions. It then showed the main event with Jeff Jarrett challenging Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship. It ended with Bryan getting the win, but then tried to attack Jarrett.

Kofi Kingston came out to make the save and vowed to win the title at WrestleMania.

The show soon opens with the New Day coming out to celebrate Kofi's win this past Sunday and how he will go on to WrestleMania. Kofi thanks his two friends for being there for him, his family, and the fans for always believing in him. Kofi brought up all he has been through in WWE since his debut 11-years ago and how he has won every title in the company. All except for one, the WWE Championship.

Kofi has worked hard to get to this moment and has busted his ass to finally have the chance of a lifetime. The chance to make history at WrestleMania and he will do it when he defeats Daniel Bryan. They are soon interrupted by Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman as Heyman congratulates Kofi on his big win. He congratulates him on getting his big chance to fight for the WWE Championship and make his dream come true.

However, he warns Kofi that dreams never come true for guys like Kofi. Guys who are nothing more than a joke and guys who are nowhere near the level of someone like Brock to become WWE Champion. But, Paul is wishing Kofi luck and who knows if by some miracle he does win the title…Brock will come for it and take it off him. But, that's only if Kofi can actually do it.

Paul then brings up last night on Raw and how Brock has his own match set up for WrestleMania. It will be Brock's team against AJ Styles' team. Paul already revealed Brock's team last night how it will be Brock himself, Baron Corbin, Randy Orton, and the Authors of Pain. While on the other side its AJ's little team that he formed back in that little company he and his buddies came from.

AJ Styles, Frankie Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, James Storm, and Bobby Roode. All joining together and reuniting Fortune. The crowd cheered loudly and even began chanting Fortune. Heyman then begins mocking Fortune and how they are nothing more than a bunch of nobodies who never made it big in that little promotion they worked at.

Heyman claims the only reason they even got into the company is because Triple H thought they had some use. But both Brock, his team, and Heyman all agree they are about as useless as Kofi and the New Day. This upset Kofi who claims that Fortune, himself, and the New Day have proven time and time again why they are the damn best in the business. All while guys like Brock, spend more time doing nothing and getting paid for it.

Kofi then vows not only can Fortune beat Brock and his team, but Kofi can beat Brock Lesnar. This caused Brock to push Heyman away and confront Kofi. It was then the crowd begin to boo loudly as Orton, Corbin, and the Authors of Pain came through the crowd then begin attacking the New Day. They beat down on all three men until *Fortune* begins to play as Fortune all came out to make the save.

Fortune helped the New Day send Brock and his team running as the crowd cheered loudly. Paige soon came out and announced tonight it will be the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar to take on AJ Styles and Kofi Kingston in a lumberjack match. The lumberjack?

Their teammates who will surround the ring. The crowd cheered loudly for this as Fortune and the New Day stand tall together, while Brock and his team retreat to the back.

Backstage

The show soon continued with an eight-man tag team match with the Bar and the Wyatt Family teaming up together. They soon took on the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, the Usos and two members of Sanity with Eric Young at ringside. It was a good back and forth match between the four teams with the crowd cheering them on. Until it broke down to a brawl as the Bar went after the Usos and Sanity went after the Wyatt Family.

It got to the point that Paige came out and announced that at WrestleMania, the Wyatt Family and Sanity will not face off alone. They will instead face off against the Bar and the Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team titles. In the match the Wyatt Family chose…the Great War match! So, all four teams will face off in a match where there are no rules and anything can happen.

Ruby soon arrived to the show and looked like she is in a good mood. That's because she isn't just ready to go to WrestleMania, but she is going one-on-one with Kurt Angle. She's looking forward to her match and couldn't wait to talk about it tonight. Last night, she saw Kurt Angle talking about his upcoming match and how he is looking forward to it.

Kurt talks about his career since he made his debut in wrestling since 1998. He talked about his accomplishments, his title reigns, and the people he had fought against. He is proud of how far he has come in the business and thanked the fans for everything. Not just for supporting him in the business, but also for helping him overcome his addiction.

Kurt thanks the fans and later talks about how he is looking forward to his match with Ruby. Kurt talks about his matches with Ruby in Japan and is looking forward to settling this fight. He also warned her she better be ready for him, because if she isn't he's going to make her tap out. Oh, Ruby is ready, and she couldn't wait to face Kurt so she can make him tap out.

She stops when she saw Sakura walking up to her. "Someone is in a good mood," said Sakura.

Ruby nods in response. "You bet I'm in a good mood. Not only am I ready for WrestleMania, but I'm also ready to fight Kurt one more time. How about you? I heard you've got a match for the show?"

Sakura nods in response knowing at WrestleMania she is going to be in the United States title match at WrestleMania. This past Sunday, after Samoa Joe retained his title, he attacked Mustafa Ali, until Rey Mysterio came to save him. Andrade soon attacked him, but then Sakura came to help him. Then Shinsuke Nakamura attacked her and soon a brawl broke out, until Paige brought security to break it up.

She then announced earlier today that at WrestleMania, Joe will defend his title against Mustafa Ali, Andrade, Rey Mysterio, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Sakura Muta. It was a huge opportunity for Sakura who is going to get a chance to win her first title in WWE.

"I'm looking forward to it. Not only do I have a chance to make history, but I have a chance to walk out with the title," said Sakura who couldn't wait to win the United States title. "For now though? I am going to team up with Rey and Ali to fight against Joe, Andrade, and Nakamura.

"Sweet," said Ruby who couldn't wait to see that match. "Well, I wish you luck on it. I'm going to go to get ready to go out and cut a promo. But anyways, good luck in your match and kick their ass."

"I will and thank you, Ruby. Good luck at WrestleMania and don't tap out," said Sakura as the two friends shook hands before they walked away to get ready.

Later

The show continued with Asuka facing off against Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose. Asuka attacked the two women before the match began. She beat the hell out of them to send a message to her WrestleMania opponents. Asuka beats Mandy making her tap out to the Asuka Lock and then made Sonya tap out as well.

Asuka makes it clear that she will not lose at WrestleMania and cannot lose. She will remain undefeated after WrestleMania and she will walk out with both titles. Jasmine Strong, Becky Lynch, and Ronda Rousey are not ready for her. No one is ready for Asuka!

She will defeat all three of her opponents and she will walk out of WrestleMania as a dual champion. Becky Lynch soon came out and makes it clear she doesn't care what Asuka says. She doesn't care how long she has been undefeated or how many women she has beaten. She has come too far to lose, and she won't let anyone get in her way.

She also doesn't care who she has to beat because in the end, everyone will have their arms broken. She will beat them all and she will walk out holding all the gold. The Man will win and she will end the undefeated streak of someone. And if its Asuka, then that will be fine with her.

The next segment is Bully Ray being interviewed by Michael Cole in the middle of the ring with the crowd booing loudly to Bully. Bully came out with no theme song and got in the ring where Cole was waiting for him.

Cole showed a video of what Bully did this past Sunday to the Miz and his father after it was revealed he is the one who attacked Miz at Elimination Chamber. They also showed the footage to show it was Bully who attacked Shane. Cole asks Bully why he attacked the Miz and then attacked Shane. Bully brought up a conversation he had with Shane McMahon a few weeks before Elimination Chamber.

Bully brought up how he offered to come back to WWE to help put over the young talent, to help his show, and also get a chance to become world champions. Shane however, turned him down on his offer. He thanked Bully for all he did, but he didn't feel he could do more to help the talent. Shane then began going on and on about the Miz.

Someone he feels is the future of the company, someone he feels can help the future, and someone he is pushing to become world champion of his brand. This made Bully angry who felt insulted by what Shane told him. He felt disrespected by Shane and how he was treated like he didn't have more to give in the business. So, he decided to show Shane how wrong he was when he took out the Miz, which he said was rather easy.

He then took out Shane to make him pay for disrespecting him. He then showed up at Fastlane because he gave Miz what he wanted. He wanted him to show up, well he got it and once more he got his ass handed to him. Bully also took out Miz's dad because he wanted to show everyone how weak Miz's dad is, just like his son.

*Here Comes the Money* began to play as Shane McMahon came out to the fans cheering loudly. Shane talks about how disappointed he was to Bully for what he did and calls him out on why he did what he did. He didn't attack Miz and Shane because he felt disrespected. He did it knowing if he did then Shane would want to make him pay in the ring for his actions.

Unlike his father, Shane won't try arresting Bully for what he did or ban him from coming back to WWE. Shane will want Bully to pay for his actions in the ring in front of the fans. So, he decides to give Bully what he wants, but it won't be against Shane. It will be against the Miz.

The fans popped loudly when Miz was announced he would fight Bully Ray. Shane also makes it clear the match will be a Falls Count Anywhere match. Bully thanks Shane for giving him what he wants because once he destroys Miz like he did twice, then Shane will have no choice but to hire him. He will have no choice but to bring him back to the WWE and he will have no choice but to watch him become world champion.

Suddenly, the Miz appeared through the crowd and hits Bully with a steel chair. Bully goes down and Miz begins slamming the chair to the back of Bully as the fans cheered loudly. Bully tried to escape, but Shane attacks him and works with Miz to beat the hell out of Bully. Miz then this the Skull-Crushing Finale and then puts him on the announce table.

Shane hits the Leap of Faith off the top rope and takes Bully through the table. The fans cheered loudly as the Miz and Shane pose in the middle of the ring. They got some payback tonight, but at WrestleMania they will end Bully Ray. They will win at WrestleMania and Bully Ray will be gone for good.

The next match has Rey Mysterio, Mustafa Ali, and Sakura Muta facing off against Samoa Joe, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Andrade with Zelina Vega in a tag team match. It started off with Ali wanted to get back at Joe for the attack this passed Sunday. Ali used his speed to keep Joe from grabbing him and tries to take him down.

Joe though managed to grab Ali and begins stomping him in the corner. Joe then tries to finish him off, but Ali managed to surprise Joe and then tagged in Sakura. Sakura took Joe down and begins taking down Nakamura and Andrade as the fans cheered her on. Soon, she knocked all three to the outside as she joined her partners.

They then go for a big dive, but then fake out their opponents who moved out of the way. Sakura, Rey, and Ali pushed back against the ropes and pose in the middle of the ring. This got the crowd behind them, while the bad guys look on angrily. The show soon went to commercial break with the good guys on top.

Once the break ended, Andrade is seen beating down Rey after Zelina got involved and allowed her team to take back control. Joe, Nakamura, and Andrade made sure Rey couldn't tag his partners in as they did all they could to get a tag in. They attack the partners to distract the referee to keep Rey's teammates from getting into the ring and see them cheating. They even then kept the referee from seeing the tag made and force Rey's teammates to the apron.

Andrade went for a Powerbomb, but Rey countered and hit the Canadian Destroyer! The crowd popped for this move as both men were soon down. Joe and Sakura get tagged in as Sakura goes wild. She begins taking down her opponents, while getting the crowd going.

Sakura goes for the finish, until Nakamura came in and hits her with the Kinshasa! Ali hits a Springboard Tornado DDT on Nakamura! Andrade hit the Hammerlock DDT on Ali! Rey then hits Andrade with a Dropkick and Zelina tried to save him, but Rey ends up hitting a double 619 on both of them!

Joe then hits the Uranage Slam on Rey taking him out! Joe then goes for the Rear-Naked Chokehold on Sakura, but she managed to slide out of it, pull Joe down, and get a Roll-up getting one…two…but Joe kicked out! Sakura though hits the ropes and hits the Shining Wizard on Joe while he was on one-knee! Sakura goes for the cover getting one…two…and three!

Sakura Muta has defeated the United States Champion and has gained momentum for WrestleMania. Sakura celebrates her win with Rey Mysterio and Mustafa Ali. The three poses in the ring and raise their hands as the crowd cheered loudly. All while Joe looks on shocked, he lost his match and now is concerned his reign as champion might end at WrestleMania.

The next match has a six-way match to determine who will face Karina Khan at WrestleMania for the Women's Intercontinental Championship. It has Charlotte Flair versus Naomi versus Sonya Deville versus Naomi versus Mandy Rose versus Lana. All six women looking to get a chance at the title and a chance to fight Karina for the gold. The first to be eliminated is Mandy after Naomi eliminated her.

Mandy grabs her hair when she got on the apron and Sonya helps eliminate her. The crowd booed loudly after seeing Naomi getting eliminated. Sonya got eliminated next by Carmella, before she got eliminated by Charlotte leaving it down to two women. Lana came close to eliminate Charlotte, but Charlotte went for her injured ankle and eliminated her.

After the match, Charlotte cut a promo about her upcoming match and how she should be in the main event of WrestleMania. How Ronda, Jasmine, Asuka, and Becky don't deserve to be champions. She is upset the fact she is not in the main event, but she will still walk out of the show with some gold around her waist. She completely undermines Karina and calls her a paper champion.

How she isn't close to her level and how she will defeat her at WrestleMania. She will bow before the queen and she will walk out as the Women's Intercontinental Champion. She soon left the ring and mocked the fans, who continued to boo at her. She didn't care though since she plans to win at WrestleMania and take the title.

*Painless* begins to play as Ruby Takashi came out getting cheered by the crowd. Ruby smiles as she gets on one-knee before she placed her right hand on the entrance stage. She howls loudly and begins heading to the ring as the fans cheered loudly at her.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the Wolf of the Rising Sun and the Empress of Japan…RUBY TAKASHI!" Greg Hamilton announced as Ruby begin shaking the hands of the fans and even took some pictures with the fans.

She soon walks up the steps and gets to the top rope as she howls loudly. She can hear the crowd howling with her before she gets into the ring and poses before she is given a mic.

Ruby stood in the middle of the ring and smiles as she begins as she speaks. "You all notice I'm smiling, right? You all know why I'm smiling right? I'm not just smiling because I won my match this past Sunday. I'm smiling…" she then points to the WrestleMania sign. "Because I'm going to WrestleMania!"

The crowd cheered loudly as Ruby keeps pointing to the sign before she turns back to the fans as they begin chanting her name.

"Once again, the Wolf of the Rising Sun is going back to WrestleMania and she's going to make history…again," said Ruby knowing the first time she did was walking into WrestleMania as a dual champion and the first ever woman to become WWE Champion. The second time was last year fighting for the IWGP Heavyweight title and winning it. "Now, I was hoping to go into WrestleMania for a chance to win back my WWE title. However, having the chance to get in the ring one more time with without question one of the greatest wrestlers in the business? Oh, hell yeah."

Ruby knows how important this match is to her and how she will have a chance to face off against one of the best wrestlers she has ever fought against.

"The first time I fought Kurt Angle was at the very first Wrestle Kingdom show on January 4, 2007. It was my first time I ever met Kurt and it was the first time we would be fighting against one another," oh Ruby remembers that night and how it was one of the most important nights in her life. "We went back and forth against one another. We gave it our all and in the end I ended getting the win. It is one of the best matches of my career and it cemented my place as one of the best. Now, granted, Kurt did go on to beat me later on, but we would go on trading wins over one another."

"But now? Now we will face off one more time. In Kurt's final match where if he wins, he goes off into the sunset with one more win. But if…or rather when I beat him then I will have gone one over on him before he retires," said Ruby as the crowd begin to boo and she understood why. "Hey, don't get me wrong. I love the guy and I don't want to have to beat him to end his career. But, I have no intentions of losing at WrestleMania either. So, Kurt? At WrestleMania you better bring your best against me like you've always had, because if you don't?"

Ruby stops and sighed softly before her smile is replaced with a serious expression. "Then at WrestleMania you will go out with a whimper. And I know you don't want that," she then points to the fans. "These fans don't want that either. They want to see the Kurt Angle who is the wrestling machine, the man who had some of the greatest matches in this business, and the man who is the damn best! You better bring it all you've got, because if you don't…then bitch I'm breaking your damn ankle."

The crowd cheered as they saw and heard the seriousness coming from Ruby.

"So, Kurt you better get ready because at WrestleMania, the Wolf is coming for you and I will beat you. And that's not a promise, it's a damn guarantee," said Ruby as she sets the mic down and begins heading out of the ring as the fans cheer loudly for her.

Ruby knows at WrestleMania it is going to be a tough match. Kurt may not move as well as he used to, but she knows he isn't less dangerous. She also knows Kurt is going to do whatever it takes to win. So, Ruby better be ready, but she also knows Kurt better get ready for her, because only one of them will walk out with the victory at WrestleMania.

Later

The show got to the main event with AJ Styles and Kofi Kingston going up against the WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar in his first match since 2004. It was a lumberjack match with their teammates at ringside, except the New Day who were in the back. It started with Bryan and AJ with the crowd cheering loudly for both men. Each time Kofi got in the ring though, Bryan would tag out to Brock.

Brock took control of the match hitting him with German Suplexes and knocking him to to the outside where his team attacked him. However, Fortune came to make the save. Kofi was thrown back in and Bryan tags himself in, which upset Brock. Brock got out of the ring allowing Bryan to punish Kofi. Bryan kept control of the match and even threw Kofi to the outside to get beaten up.

But Kofi fought off Brock's team and got back in the ring trying to regain control. He even attacked Brock and came close to finishing Bryan, until Brock took him down. Bryan took back control and got ready for the finish when Kofi hit Trouble in Paradise! Kofi tags in AJ, while Bryan tags in Brock.

AJ begins running wild using the Phenomenal Forearm twice to stagger Brock. He then counters the F5 and knocks him to the outside to his teammates. AJ dove off the top rope and lands on the bad guys as Fortune came over and a brawl broke out. Brock and AJ got back in the ring where before Kofi and Bryan tag themselves in as the fight continued on the outside.

Kofi goes for the finish, but when the referee got distracted, Randy came into the ring to hit the RKO on Kofi! Bryan took advantage and got the one…two…and three! Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar got the win. Soon, Brock begins taking down Fortune and his team began hitting their finishers on Fortune. The New Day came out to try to help Kofi, but they too got taken out by the Authors of Pain, Baron Corbin, and Randy Orton.

Bryan then hands Kofi over to Brock and he hits the F5 on Kofi through the announce table! Soon, Bryan, Brock, and his team pose in the ring as the crowd boo loudly at the six men in the ring.

SmackDown 3/19/18

The show opens up in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse arena with the crowd cheering loudly. Shane McMahon came out and is welcomed back by the crowd. Shane thanks the fans for the support and is glad to be back to his show. He also thanks the Miz and his family for supporting him.

He apologizes to the Miz for not being there at Fastlane to help him. But he is glad he showed up last week so they can both take on Bully Ray to make him pay for what he did. He invites Miz to come out as the crowd cheered loudly for the Miz. The Miz thanks Shane for everything he did for him and how he doesn't need to apologize to him.

The Miz apologizes to Shane for getting him involved in this but is thankful that he gave him what he wanted. He knows he could have had Bully arrested and have him banned from WWE. But he didn't because Miz wanted to get his hands on him. They both want revenge and he wish he could join him on beating down Bully but was told by the doctor he suffered a concussion.

The crowd booed as they wish Shane would be part of the show. But Shane reassures them and Miz that even though he can't wrestle until he gets better, doesn't mean he won't be there. He will support Miz and he is looking forward to him beating Bully. Bully appeared on the titantron and tells him how he is glad Shane made this match since it will give him a chance to embarrass both men.

Bully will prove Shane wrong about him, and he will embarrass Miz. He will show why Shane should have brought him back to WWE. If he didn't then he wouldn't have beaten him up the way he did. Bully also warns the Miz that at WrestleMania he will make him suffer.

Bully reminds Miz who he is and how the type of match they will compete in is his match. He has been in more hardcore matches then Miz and he will embarrass him in front of the world. Just like he will do to Shane and Miz's dad if they get in his way. Miz makes it clear he will not only beat Bully Ray, but he will beat the living shit out of him in front of the world.

And afterwards, when there is anything left of him then he'll send him back to the bingo halls where he belongs.

The first match of the night has the Miz going up against the United States Champion, Samoa Joe. The match has Joe taking control early on, until the Miz began retaking control and the crowd cheered loudly for him. The Miz soon began going for Joe's left leg and tries to wear him down as he gets the crowd behind him. But Joe took back control when Bully Ray appeared on the titantron again to distract him.

Joe took back control and beats down the Miz as the crowd boos loudly at him. Joe didn't care and kept on beating Miz down. Joe continued wearing him down and tries to lock in the submission hold. But the Miz began fighting back and managed to take out Joe's left leg before he goes for the finish. Bully appeared again on the titantron and tries to distract him.

This works as Joe hit the Uranage Slam before he goes to set up the Muscle Buster. Until *Centuries* begins to play as Sakura Muta's theme begins to play distraction Joe. This allows Miz to hit the Skull-Crushing Finale before he gets the one…two…and three! The Miz got the win over Samoa Joe and gained more momentum going to his WrestleMania.

Bully Ray doesn't like what happened, but there isn't much he can do it about it. At least, until next week so he can get some payback.

The next match has the Women's Intercontinental and Women's Tag Team Champions, Karina Khan and the Boss 'n' Hug Connection teaming up. So, they can go up against their WrestleMania opponents. Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax, & Tamina.

It was revealed last night on Raw that the Boss 'n' Hug Connection will defend their titles against the Lucha Knights, the Divas of Doom (Beth Phoenix & Natalya), and Nia Jax & Tamina in a fatal four-way match.

So, Nia and Tamina hope to gain some momentum against the champions. The match has Charlotte, Nia, and Tamina taking control as they beat down Bayley. The crowd cheered for Bayley and Karina to try getting Sasha to tag them in. All while Charlotte and her team tried to keep them from tagging in their partners, while mocking their opponents.

Sasha managed to take down Tamina and tag in Karina as the crowd cheered loudly. Karina begins running wild as she takes down Charlotte and even take out her partners. Bayley and Sasha managed to take down Nia and Tamina leaving it down to Karina and Charlotte. Karina goes for the finish as she goes for the Cradle Shock.

Until Charlotte raked her eyes and goes for a Roll-up, while also using the ropes. Charlotte gets the one…two…and three! Charlotte, Nia, and Tamina get the win getting the crowd to boo loudly as Karina looks on shocked. Charlotte continues mocking Karina and motions she is going to take the title from her.

All while Karina helps her partners as they realize they have to try gaining momentum before WrestleMania.

Backstage

Ruby is in the back getting ready for an interview she is going to have with Kurt Angle. The interviewer is going to be Michael Cole. He plans to ask the two participants about their upcoming match, what to expect, and what they think of the other. Ruby is looking forward to it and couldn't wait to confront Kurt.

As she gets ready, she sees the rest of the show continue on with AJ Styles facing off against the WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan. It was a good match between the two men, especially how it's a Beat the Clock Challenge. Paige decided that the WWE title match needs something to spice it up. So, she decided to add it tonight where if Bryan or Kofi win their match within a time then they can pick the stipulation.

Even before the match began, Bryan was talking trash about Kofi and how after last week, Kofi doesn't believe he can beat him. How Kofi knows this will be his last shot. If he loses to Bryan, then he can kiss his chances goodbye. He will make sure of it and he will make sure Kofi never wins the title. Unfortunately, he completely lost focus and AJ surprised him with a Roll-up and got the win!

AJ Styles finally got some payback against Bryan and got a big win for his team going into WrestleMania. But if Kofi loses the match then Paige will have to pick the stipulation for the match instead. Something she is sure she doesn't want to have to do. But if it happens then she'll have no choice.

Ruby then saw the Bar going up against their rivals the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, the Usos. It was another good match between the two teams, who are hoping to gain momentum for their title match at WrestleMania against Sanity and the Wyatt Family. The Usos tried to end the match quickly, but the Bar showed they are not going down so easily. Both teams traded moves and hit their best finishers, but they couldn't put the other away.

The Usos thought they had the win when they took out Sheamus then tried to hit Cesaro with a double Superfly Splash. However, Cesaro jumps up and hits Jey with a European Uppercut. All while Jimmy landed on the mat when Cesaro moved out of the way. Cesaro then hits the Neutralizer and gets the one…two…and three!

The Bar got the big win and now have gained momentum for WrestleMania. The Usos meanwhile, looked pissed off and Ruby knew this is going to make things very interesting.

She left her locker room and begins heading to where she is going to get interviewed when she saw a familiar face. She stops and sees its Baron Corbin, who is obviously here to support Orton for his match tonight.

"Well, well. If it isn't Vince's little lapdog. What brings you here on my show?" Ruby asked as Corbin tries to speak up, but Ruby cuts him off. "Just kidding. I don't really care nor do I have the time to care why you are doing here. I'm too busy going to go to my interview with Kurt and talk about our WrestleMania match."

Oh this did not sit well with Corbin who looked angry. "The only reason you even have this match with Kurt is because you got lucky against me. It was a fluke win and you damn well know it."

"Hmm? A fluke win? Funny, considering you beat the crap out of me a few days before our match and then when the referee got knocked down you used a chair to beat me down again," said Ruby recalling what he did to her on SmackDown and then Fastlane. "And yet you still couldn't beat down little old me when I was hurting. But here's the kicker. If you say it was a fluke…why did you tap out, bitch?"

Corbin got upset when she mentioned how he tapped out and how the fans kept chanting how he tapped out. "That's because you used an illegal submission hold to beat me. I guarantee if you and I had a rematch, it won't happen again."

"Is that so?" Ruby chuckled softly as she cracks her knuckles. "Fine, next week you and me, one more time. Only this time, to ensure we end this fairly. You and me…in a Falls Count Anywhere. What do you say?"

Corbin thinks about her offer and knew he is taking a risk, but with his team backing him up he's confident he will win. "Fine and after I beat you then maybe Kurt will reconsider fighting a loser like you and fight me."

"Whatever you say, sunshine," said Ruby as she pats him on the arm. "Now, if you excuse me. I'm off for my interview."

Ruby soon took off, while Corbin just shrugs off her little insult and goes to get ready for Orton's match tonight.

Later

The show continued with the Miz facing off against the United States Champion, Samoa Joe. The Miz looks to gain momentum going into his Falls Count Anywhere match against Bully Ray. All while Joe is looking to gain momentum as well for his title defense against five other competitors. Both men went back and forth trying to beat the other with quick pinfalls.

However, both men managed to fight on and avoid getting pinned. Joe though took control of the match after pushing Miz off the top rope on to the barricade. Joe focused on Miz's injured ribs and looks to finish him off. But Miz refused to stay down and kept on fighting as he goes for his left leg.

The Miz comes close to the win when Bully Ray appeared through the crowd. This distracts Miz, allowing Joe to lock in the Rear-Naked Chokehold. But Miz managed to roll him lower body over to pin Joe getting one…two…but Joe broke the chokehold. Miz counters Joe's Uranage Slam and hits the Skull-Crushing Finale!

But Bully Ray runs into the ring and attacks Miz as the crowd boos loudly. Bully goes to use the steel chain on Miz, but Miz hits a low blow on Bully and then used the chain on his opponent. Bully goes down and Miz goes for the Skull-Crushing Finale. Until Joe attacks Miz from behind and tries to finish him off, when Sakura comes running out to the ring.

She ducks a Clothesline from Joe and kicks his left knee out before hitting him with the Shining Wizard! Suddenly, Andrade comes running into the ring and hits Sakura with the Hammerlock DDT! Mustafa Ali comes out and hits Andrade with a Spin Kick before he hits the Imploding 450 Splash! As soon as he took him out, Shinsuke Nakamura came running into the ring and hits the Kinshasa!

Rey Mysterio came out and hits a Hurricanrana knocking Nakamura on to the middle rope. Rey hits the ropes and then runs over to hit the 619! Samoa Joe hits him with a Big Boot before hitting Rey with the Muscle Buster! Joe grabs his title and stands tall as the crowd boos loudly at him.

It was now time for the main event between Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton. Before the match, Kofi talked about his WrestleMania match and knows the odds of him winning is very slim. But he isn't going to let that stop him. Kofi will do whatever it takes to win and he'll risk it all to win it.

If he wins then he will make his dreams and the dreams of his sons come true. If he loses…he isn't sure he has a future in this company.

As the New Day came out, they are attacked by Randy Orton, Baron Corbin, and the Authors of Pain. They began beating them down until Paige came out with security. She banned Orton's team from ringside. All while the New Day are helped to the back.

Even without his team by his side, Orton had taken control of the match and beat Kofi down making sure he can't get up. Kofi though didn't give up and kept on fighting as he refused to lose. Kofi kept on fighting and came even close on getting the win. Orton though resorted to try cheating and came close to getting the win himself.

Orton even ducks the Trouble in Paradise and hits the RKO! Orton goes for the cover getting one…two…but Kofi kicked out! The crowd cheered for Kofi, while Orton looks on shocked that Kofi kicked out of the RKO. Orton sets things up for the Punt Kick, but when he did Kofi hits Trouble in Paradise! Kofi goes for the cover, but Daniel Bryan came out and pulled Orton out of the ring before he punches him.

The referee calls for the bell and Orton wins the match by disqualification. If Bryan couldn't win his match, then he'll make damn sure Kofi doesn't win his match. Kofi looks on angry that Bryan cost him his win and now he can't pick a stipulation for their title match. But that also means Bryan can't either since he lost his match too.

They were prepared to wait to see what Paige will decide when Vince McMahon appeared on the titantron. He announced that he will be the one to decide what the stipulation for the WWE title match will be. So, he brings up what Kofi said earlier about how he'll risk it all for one more shot at WrestleMania. How if he wins it will make the dreams of his family come true, but if he loses, he doesn't believe he has a future left in the company.

So, Vince decides if Kofi doesn't believe he has a future in the company if he loses then he'll make sure he won't have a future anywhere else. So, he decides that since Daniel Bryan is forced to put his title on the line against Kofi, then Kofi needs to put up something important on the line as well…his career. The crowd booed loudly at this, while Kofi looks on upset with the stipulation Vince is making.

Vince announces that at WrestleMania it will be title versus career for the WWE Championship match. Where if Kofi Kingston loses…he must retire from wrestling for good. Daniel Bryan stood on the entrance stage laughing and mocking Kofi, while Kofi looks on knowing now there is a lot more on the line at WrestleMania. There is more than just the title on the line.

If he loses at WrestleMania…that is it. He must retire for good from the wrestling business and can never wrestle again. Kofi now sees he will have to indeed give it his all for his match if he wants to keep his career. If he wins, he will make his dreams come true, but if he loses…its over.

Later

In the back, there is a room that has been set up for tonight's interview with Michael Cole speaking to Kurt Angle and Ruby Takashi. To discuss about their WrestleMania match and about Kurt's retirement.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm Michael Cole. Please welcome my guests tonight who will face off against one another at WrestleMania. The man to my left, WWE Hall of Famer and professional wrestling's only Olympic gold medalist…Kurt Angle," Cole turns to Kurt who is sitting to his left and wearing a suit.

"And to my right, she is Kurt Angle's opponent for WrestleMania. She is the Wolf of the Rising Sun and the Empress of Japan…Ruby Takashi." Cole turns to his right where Ruby is sitting wearing her wrestling shirt, her jacket, and her jeans. "Thank you both for your time and for giving the WWE Universe a chance to hear what you two will have to say before your match at WrestleMania in three weeks."

"It's a pleasure to be here, Cole," said Kurt who had no problem being here to do this interview.

"It's good to be here, Cole. So, shall we get started?" Ruby asked looking forward to the interview and what the other will say.

"Well, let's start off with you, Ruby. You've been in the business since 2002. You have wrestled in every wrestling promotion in the world. In Japan, Mexico, Europe, and even the United States. You made your debut in WWE two years ago where you won the Royal Rumble, won the WWE title, and headline WrestleMania," Cole started began bringing up her past accomplishments and what she has done since coming to WWE. "My question to you is, with all you have accomplished, are you nervous about going into this match with Kurt Angle? And what can we expect from you that we haven't seen before?"

Ruby sighed softly as she leans back against her chair before she turns to Kurt. If she is going to give her honest answer, then she'll say it by looking Kurt right in the eyes.

"Nervous? How can I be nervous about going into the ring one more time with a man who is without a shadow of a doubt one of the greatest wrestler in the world. Someone I've fought against in the past many times whether it is for a title or to prove who is the damn past. Only this time, its different because we both know this is the last time, I will go up against him," said Ruby as she keeps eye-contact with Kurt.

"I know after this that will be it and it makes me sad that I will never face Kurt Angle again the ring. That is shy I am going to give it everything I have to beat Kurt and that means I can't rely on using the same big moves I have used before," said Ruby knowing what she did to Corbin is the kind of strategy she will need to use. "This means I'll have to pull out some old moves I have used before against Kurt himself. Only this time, I'll be adding in some new ones too."

Ruby then turns to Cole and has a confident smile on her face. "So, you want to know what you can expect from me at WrestleMania? Just look what I did to Baron Corbin at Fastlane and what I'll do to him next week. Then you'll see what you can expect at WrestleMania."

Cole nods as he got his answer before turning to Kurt for his questions. "Kurt Angle, you have been in this business since 1998. You won every title in the WWE and you have been world champion outside of this company. You have faced off against the very best in the business and now you are going to compete in your final match in three weeks. My question to you is, are you nervous about going into your final match, what can we expect from Kurt Angle, and do you believe you will win?"

Kurt leans back against his seat and sighed softly realizing what Cole has said. 1998, he has been at this for 20 years and five months by the time he gets to WrestleMania. He has indeed world every title in this company and has been world champion outside of the company. He has truly been blessed to have fought against the very best in the business and in three weeks it will all end.

"When I first got to this business, I never thought I would get to five years, much less ten…fifteen, and twenty years. Not with everything that I have gone through in the ring and outside of it," said Kurt knowing with how his life has gone it was a miracle he made it this far. "I'm glad that I made it to the end of my career and that I get to go out on my own terms. Something that is very rare for wrestlers to do. You either go out because of a serious injury or you die. And sadly, that's the reality of this business."

Ruby knew that much is true. She knew a lot of wrestlers who never got to go out at the top of their game. Hell, many of them never got to retire on the grandest stage of them all. So, the fact that Kurt made it, especially after what he went through in his life is a miracle.

"As far as me being nervous? I am. I am nervous about going out there one more time and afraid I won't be able to go like I used to," which is true. Kurt's body has been through so much that he can't go as fast and can't handle much like it used to. "But know who I am going up against and how she'll give me everything she is? Well, I'm going to do all I can to go out there and give it my all no matter what."

Kurt then turns to Ruby and looks at her straight in the eyes. "I know you want me to bring the old Kurt Angle out and face off against him. You aren't going to get that Kurt Angle. You are going to get the Kurt Angle who will give it everything he has to win, who will refuse to give up, and will do whatever it takes to go out on top. Even if it means breaking your damn ankle."

Ruby could see the fire in Kurt's eyes and knew he meant every word he is saying. She knows he will do whatever it takes to win, but so will she.

"At WrestleMania, you better be ready, because I'm going to go out there and I'm going to win. Oh, it's true…its damn true!" said Kurt as the two stared at each other knowing full well they will indeed give it their all.

Both know at WrestleMania; it will be Kurt's final match and the two now know they will give it everything they have to win. And whoever wins, both know they will deserve it.

SmackDown 3/26/19

The show opens up in Uncasville, Connecticut in the Mohegan Sun Arena. The crowd cheered loudly knowing there is two weeks before WrestleMania. It was almost here, and the lineup is already looking good, especially on the SmackDown side. But tonight, several matches have been made to build up WrestleMania.

Charlotte Flair opened up the show cutting a promo about her upcoming title match against Karina Khan. She talks about her success in WWE and how she has done it all. She mocks Karina claiming she is a paper champion and how her dreams will come to an end. She will beat Karina and she will end her reign as champion.

But Charlotte doesn't want to go into WrestleMania winning one title. She wants to go into WrestleMania as champion. So, she challenges Asuka to a WrestleMania 34 rematch for the title. She vows to not only end her undefeated streak, but she will take her title and make history at WrestleMania.

She will be the first and only one to ever hold the Women's Intercontinental, SmackDown, and Raw Women's titles. Asuka came out accepting the challenge and begins mocking her. She reminds her how she talked a big game about beating her last year and how she would end her undefeated streak. Yet in the end she not only lost, but she made her tap out.

So, Charlotte vowed she would not only win, but she'll make her tap out. The two women went back and forth with the crowd cheering Asuka on. All while booing at Charlotte. Both women countered one another and both women came close to getting the win over the other.

But Charlotte managed to lock in the Figure-Eight and tightens her grip as she comes close to making Asuka tap out. Until, Jasmine appeared and pulled the referee out knocking him out. Charlotte breaks the hold and got angry with what Jasmine did. She begins yelling at her and tells her to get the hell out.

Jasmine though points behind Charlotte and shows Karina is in the ring. Karina hits a Springboard Forearm taking her down. Karina then lifts Charlotte on her shoulders and hits the Cradle Shock! Karina leaves the ring and Jasmine throws the referee back inside of the ring.

Asuka goes for the cover getting one…two…and three! Asuka retains her title and now will go on to WrestleMania still champion. Jasmine gets in the ring and grabs Asuka by the throat before hitting the Chokeslam! Jasmine soon poses with the SmackDown Women's title and vows to win it at WrestleMania along with the Raw Women's title.

The next match has Rey Mysterio going up against Andrade, Mustafa Ali, and Shinsuke Nakamura in a fatal four-way match. All while Samoa Joe and Sakura Muta are on commentary. All four men begin going fast and hit their bet moves to try wearing down the other. To try getting the win over the other as the crowd cheered them all on.

All four men soon hit their finishers and got close to the win. Ali goes for the finish, when Nakamura hits a low blow on him and then hits the Kinshasa. Rey took Nakamura out and then knocks Andrade on the middle rope. Rey Mysterio soon went for the 619 to try hitting Andrade.

Zelina though makes the save and shields Andrade. This allowed Andrade to hit Rey with the Hammerlock DDT and get the one…two…and three! Andrade got a big win and soon goes to Zelina to carry her to the back. All while Joe turns to Sakura as the two stare at each other before they begin parting ways.

The next segment has the Miz having his MizTV segment where he invited AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar. However, Brock wasn't on SmackDown, so instead Randy Orton came out. Orton began cutting a promo as he insulted AJ and his team. He talks about their time in the indies and how they all worked in small promotions where they were nobodies.

All while he came to the WWE, became the youngest world champion in WWE, and made a name for himself in the business. How he became a somebody and how Fortune will never be on his level. How they are all nobodies that only got in WWE because they were desperate. But in the end Orton and his team will end up kicking them out of his company.

AJ spoke up next talking about how he and his friends how they accomplished more outside of WWE than Orton ever will. Hell, Orton only got in the company after he got dishonorably discharged from the military and got daddy to help him in the company. But AJ and Fortune? They all busted their asses to make a name for themselves and become the best in the business.

To the point that they made it and accomplished a lot in such a short time. Hell, AJ brings up how most of everyone in WWE right now are all from the independent shows that Orton has insulted. Hell, AJ even won the WWE title faster than Orton's first two world title reigns.

AJ tells Orton that at WrestleMania Fortune will prove to the world that they are in a league beyond Brock's team. How Brock, Orton, Corbin, and the Authors of Pain will have no choice but to accept Fortune when they win. The two soon had a stare-down and look ready to fight. The Miz broke up the two men since he didn't want them to fight on his show.

But Orton punches him and soon AJ attacks Orton. The two begin to brawl until the Miz attacks Orton. Helping AJ against Orton, until Bully Ray came out to attack the Miz. The four men soon begin going at it until, Bully hits Miz with a low-blow and then hits the Powerbomb putting him through the announce table.

Bully then helps Orton and Orton hits AJ with the RKO through a steel chair. The two men pose over the bodies of their WrestleMania opponents before they took off.

Backstage

Ruby is in the back getting ready for her Falls Count Anywhere match against Baron Corbin. Ruby knew this is a little risky since she might end up getting hurt. Just two weeks before WrestleMania. But she wanted to shut up Baron Corbin and will do whatever it takes to win.

She knew though Corbin won't go down easily, but this time she will be ready for him. The best part? No outside help for Corbin. Paige made it clear everyone is banned from ringside. Paige wanted no one to ruin this match and to try risk injuring Ruby before her match with Kurt Angle.

This means she won't have to worry about Corbin's buddies getting involved. Ruby watches on TV to see Kurt Angle going up against the WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan. She watched Kurt and Bryan going back and forth with the crowd enjoying the match. She is glad to see Kurt is able to move better than he did on Raw when he fought against Samoa Joe and AJ Styles. However, it wasn't long until Bryan took back control and tried to win through some cheating methods.

That was, until Kofi Kingston came out and distracted Bryan allowing Kurt to get a Roll-up win over Bryan. The crowd cheered loudly for Kurt and Kurt looked ready for WrestleMania. Ruby is ready too and couldn't wait for their match. But first, she needs to get through her match first without anyone getting involved.

She finishes lacing up her boots and goes out for her match. All while grabbing a steel chair with barbwire around it. "All right. Time to go kick an asshole and get ready for WrestleMania in two weeks…just two more weeks and I'll end Kurt's career."

Later

*I Bring The Darkness (End of Days)* begins to play as Baron Corbin came out getting booed by the crowd. Corbin looks around with a steel chair in his hand as he heads towards the ring

"The following contest is a Falls Count Anywhere match and it is set for one-fall!" Greg Hamilton announced as Corbin goes to the ring and pulls out some weapons.

"Introducing first, from Kansas City, weighing in at 285 pounds…BARON CORBIN!" Greg Hamilton announced as Corbin throws a trash can into the ring, a Singapore cane, and a table as he slides it into the ring.

*Painless* begins to play as Ruby Takashi comes out getting the crowd behind her as they cheer her on. Ruby sees Corbin with a chair as he calls to bring it on. Ruby takes off her jacket and runs to the ring with the chair in her hand. Corbin swings the chair, but Ruby ducks and throws the barbwire chair into his face knocking him down.

The referee calls for the bell and soon the match begins as Ruby took the chair then slams it to Corbin's back knocking him down. Corbin yells in pain as Ruby goes hits his back again with the chair as the crowd cheered loudly for her. Ruby sees Corbin going near the steel steps as she throws him the chair so he can catch it. Ruby then jumps up and hits a Spinning Wheel Kick to the chair as it hits Corbin's face knocking him over the steel steps to the floor.

The crowd cheered loudly as Ruby gets the crowd going before she grabs Corbin then gets him in the ring. She sees Corbin going to the corner as she runs over to hit a corner Crossbody before she slides between the ropes. She then pushes Corbin forward and goes to the top rope as she goes for the Blockbuster. However, Corbin grabs the trash can in the ring then throws it at Ruby knocking her off the top rope to the floor.

The crowd booed loudly as Corbin begins trying to get back up, while some blood began dripping down his head. Corbin got angry as he sees Ruby on the outside and grabs the Singapore cane before rolling to the outside. Corbin runs over and hits Ruby with the cane to the back as Ruby yells in pain. Corbin begins repeatedly hitting her with the cane as the crowd boo loudly at him.

Corbin stops and begins mocking the crowd before hitting Ruby with the cane one more time knocking her to the floor. Corbin soon goes for the cover getting one…but Ruby got a shoulder up. Corbin grabs Ruby by the hair and pulls her up before throwing her over the barricade to the concrete floor. Corbin grabs the barbwire chair and goes to use it on Ruby as he goes after her.

However, Ruby grabs a drink from a fan and throws it into Corbin's face causing him to stagger back. Corbin tries to wipe away the drink from his eyes since it blurred his vision. Ruby used this chance to grab a chair from the fans, set it against the barricade, and runs over. She runs up on the chair, jumps off, lands on the barricade, and hits Corbin with a Flying Forearm knocking him down.

Ruby howls loudly as the crowd cheers loudly for her. Ruby grabs the cane and begins slamming it to the back of Corbin causing him to yell in pain. Corbin begins getting up and run away from Ruby and away from the weapon she has. However, Ruby kept following him as she slams him with the cane repeatedly.

Corbin gets in the ring and grabs the trash can as he tries to use it. Ruby ducks, but also swings the cane as she hits him in the gut causing him to drop the weapon. Ruby keeps on hitting him with the cane before she stops as she throws it away. She then goes for a Curb Stomp to drop him on the trash can.

Ruby hits the ropes and when she comes back, Corbin hits the Deep Six right on the trash can! Corbin goes for the cover getting one…two and Ruby got a shoulder up! The crowd cheered loudly as Corbin grabs Ruby then throws her back to the outside. Corbin gets under the ring and pulls out a belt before putting it on the apron.

Corbin then pulls the steel steps ring from the corner and then uses it on Ruby hitting her right in the head knocking her down. Corbin poses as the crowd continues booing at him and chanting how he sucks. Corbin mocks them and has a cock smile on his face as he grabs the belt to use it on Ruby. However, Ruby kicks out his left leg then tries locking in the Heel Hook submission hold!

Corbin quickly got in the ring and got his legs freed before Ruby could lock in the hold. The crowd begin laughing at Corbin as he decides not to play these games anymore. He rolls under the ring and goes to hit her with a Running Clothesline. Ruby saw him coming and hits a Drop Toe Hold causing him to trip over on the steel steps!

Ruby gets up slowly as she sees the belt on the floor and smiles. She grabs it and begins whipping Corbin's back as the crowd cheers loudly. Corbin quickly gets up as Ruby keeps on whipping him repeatedly before he ran over the barricade to get away from the belt. Ruby lifts the belt as the crowd cheers loudly for her.

Ruby goes after Corbin as she begins punching him as they fight in the crowd. Corbin tries to escape as Ruby chops him in the chest and then hits him with a headbutt. Corbin staggers back near the timekeeper area as Ruby goes after him. Corbin grabs the ring bell and slams it into her gut as she got the air knocked out of her.

Corbin grabs Ruby and then hits her with a Chokeslam on the announce table! Corbin goes for the cover getting one…two…but Ruby kicked out! Corbin couldn't believe it as he grabs her by the hair as he yells at her. However, Ruby surprises him as she locks in the Kimura submission hold!

Corbin yells in pain as he tries to get freed of the hold as Ruby tightens her grip of the hold. Corbin tries to lift her up to get freed, but Ruby refuses to break the hold as she tightens the hold. He managed to pull her off the announce table then slams her on the floor and got his arm freed after she loosened her grip. He gets some distance from her as Ruby slowly gets up to recover from what happened.

Corbin soon charges at her with the steel chair as he goes to use it on her. But Ruby ducks the chair shot and hits him with a Superkick knocking him over the barricade to the floor. Ruby sees her opponent is on the outside and smiles as she sees him slowly getting up. Ruby gets on the barricade and hits the Tornado DDT on the concrete floor!

The crowd popped for the move as Ruby goes for the cover getting one…two…but Corbin got a shoulder up! Ruby goes back to ringside while leaving Corbin to be checked on by the referee. Ruby grabbed the table that Corbin had pulled out earlier and brought it back to the outside. Ruby sets it between the timekeeper area as she prepares to hit him with a big move through the table.

Ruby grabs Corbin, but he surprises her by grabbing her throat and hits her with a Chokeslam through the table! The crowd popped and begin chanting 'Holy Shit!' repeatedly as Corbin falls on the floor unable to capitalize on the pin. Ruby meanwhile is being checked by the referee to make sure she is okay. Corbin soon begins to recover and goes for the cover getting one…two…but Ruby kicked out!

Corbin couldn't believe the match isn't over yet and how Ruby is still standing. He couldn't believe this, but he needed to end the match soon as he grabs her by the hair as he begins taking her around the arena, while punching her and knocks her down. Ruby however, kept on fighting back as she pushes him into the wall before hitting him with a jawbreaker! Ruby then grabs a chair and slams it to the back of Corbin knocking him down as the crowd cheered her on.

Corbin begins heading near the steel railing as Ruby goes to hit him with the chair to the face. But Corbin ducks the back and hits a Back Suplex on one of the equipment cases. Corbin soon grabs the cases and moves them near the steel railing. Corbin soon decides to end this as he grabs Ruby then gets up another case as he goes to hit the End of Days on the steel railing.

Ruby though begins fighting back as she drives her elbow to the side of his head causing him to free her. Corbin comes back to try hitting her with a Clothesline, but she sprays the green mist to his face blinding him. Corbin yells in pain as he couldn't see, which allows Ruby to recover and then hits the Spear on Corbin through the steel railing! Ruby though isn't done as she rolls Corbin off the broken railing and then locks in the Kimura submission hold!

Corbin yells in pain as Ruby tightens her hold and even bends her opponent's arm even more. Corbin soon begins tapping out as the crowd cheered loudly with the referee calling for the bell. Ruby breaks the hold and the referee begins checking on Corbin, while Greg Hamilton makes the announcement.

"Here is your winner by submission…RUBY TAKASHI!" Greg Hamilton announced as Ruby begins getting up slowly.

Ruby soon is able to stand on her feet and hears the crowd cheer loudly for her. She begins smiling as the referee raises her hand and hears her theme song being played. Ruby begins celebrating the win as she shakes the hands of the fans. All while posing with the fans and taking selfies with them.

She not only defeated Baron Corbin, but she got another win over him and now has more momentum going into WrestleMania. She couldn't wait for it and couldn't wait to go back to WrestleMania to get another win. Oh, she knows with Kurt it will be a damn challenge, but she knows it will be worth it. And then afterwards…she will get back what is hers.

SmackDown 4/2/19

The show opens up Baltimore, Maryland in Royal Farms arena with the crowd cheering loudly knowing there is only five days left before WrestleMania. They couldn't wait for the showcase of the immortals and couldn't wait for the matches tonight. They didn't even need to wait long as the first match of the night has the Miz, AJ Styles, Aleister Black, & Ricochet versus Baron Corbin, Randy Orton, & the Revival. This was a good way to kick off the show as all eight men went back and forth against one another.

Bully Ray is at ringside watching the match and watching the Miz getting beaten down. The Miz though kept on fighting back and managed to tag in his partners before going after Bully. The two men begin brawling through the crowd until they head to the back. During the match, AJ Styles managed to take down Baron Corbin and then brawls with Orton as they brawl to the back.

Corbin tries to tag in the Revival, but they got off the apron and walked off since they didn't want to fight their WrestleMania opponents. This allowed Aleister Black to hit the Black Mass and then Ricochet hit the 630 Senton getting the one…two…and three! Aleister Black and Ricochet gained momentum for their title match this Sunday with the crowd cheering both men on.

The next match has the WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan going up against Rey Mysterio. Before the match began, Bryan began cutting a promo and talked about how this Sunday he is going to end the career of Kofi Kingston. He blames Kofi for pushing him to do this and how when Kofi loses, he will have himself to blame. Bryan calls Kofi a B-plus wrestler and how he should have just stayed as a comedy goof like his friends.

Bryan vows he will beat Kofi Kingston and he will walk out still the WWE Champion. Soon, Bryan has his match with Rey, and it was a back and forth match between the two men. It was a dream match between the two men as the crowd cheer Rey on. Rey looks to gain some momentum for his upcoming title match as the crowd cheered him on.

Rey comes close to winning the match, but Bryan tries to remove the mask, which caused the referee warns Bryan to get off the mask. Bryan used this distraction to hit a low blow on Rey. Bryan then goes for the Yes Lock when Kofi's theme begins to play. Kofi attacks Bryan and sends him running.

Kofi reveals that he is fully aware of what is at stake at WrestleMania. Kofi knows the odds of him winning is slim and he knows if he loses that is it. But Kofi isn't going to let that happen. He will put it all on the line and he will become WWE Champion.

Kofi celebrates with Rey and Rey wishes Kofi luck. The crowd cheer on for Kofi as the crowd hope Kofi will win this Sunday.

The show resumes with a ten-man tag team match between the Wyatt Family & the 'Woken' Hardys against Sanity & the Usos. It was a big back and forth match between the ten men as the crowd cheer them both on. The Usos look to gain some momentum for their WrestleMania title defense and hope to walk out with the titles. All while the 'Woken' Hardys look to win tonight so they can be part of the Great War match for the SmackDown Tag Team titles.

But only if they win tonight to be added in. It was a back and forth match with all ten men beating the hell out of one another. Until finally the match broke down into a brawl. With each team hitting their finishers on the other.

It eventually had the Usos getting the win on the Hardys after Nikki Cross hit Jeff with a steel chair. The Usos hit a double Superfly Splash getting the one...two…and three! The crowd booed at the Usos since they know because of this loss the Hardys won't be in action. Sanity soon left through the crowd, while the Wyatt Family help the 'Woken' Hardys to help them out. The crowd cheered on for the Hardys and give them a standing ovation.

The next segment has Kevin Owens coming out for his Kevin Owens show. The crowd cheered him on and are happy to see him back on SmackDown. KO talks about this Sunday and how they are now five days away from WrestleMania. The crowd cheered knowing its almost here and the crowd couldn't wait for it.

Kevin couldn't wait for it either, especially how this Sunday he will team with Roman Reigns and his best friend who is making his return this Sunday, Sami Zayn. They will team up to fight against Drew McIntyre, Kenny King, and MVP. KO couldn't wait to get back at MVP and Kenny King, especially how they helped Bobby beat him down two weeks ago on Monday Night Raw. But he came back last night, saved Seth Rollins, and got some payback, but not enough until Sunday.

Kevin then brings out Sakura Muta and asks her about her upcoming title match. Why she thinks she will win the title and how important this match is to her. Sakura brings up her life growing up and how her father was a huge inspiration for her. How she wanted to make him proud when she got into the business and how she wants to continue making him proud by winning this Sunday.

She knows the odds of her winning is very slim and she knows it won't be easy. But she is confident she'll not only win, but she'll walk out with the United States title. Joe's theme begins to play, and they see Joe coming out. Sakura prepares to fight him, when Bobby Lashley, Kenny King, and MVP showed up to attack her and KO.

They begin beating them down as Kevin tries fighting back. But Bobby ends up hitting him with the Spear, while MVP hits the Playmaker on Sakura. They leave the ring to let Joe finish off Sakura as Joe locks in the Rear-Naked Chokehold to choke her out. Joe soon breaks the hold once she is out and poses in the ring with his title as he vows to walk out of WrestleMania with the title.

Backstage

Ruby is in the back watching the show knowing this Sunday this is it. She will face off against Kurt Angle one-on-one. She was supposed to be in action tonight, but Paige gave her the night off to get her ready for Sunday. She wasn't happy for it, but she's the boss so she couldn't do anything about it.

Ruby watched the rest of the show continue with the challengers for this Sunday's show the Lucha Knights, Becky Lynch, Jasmine Strong, and Charlotte Flair going up against the Boss 'n' Hug Connection, Ronda Rousey, Asuka, and Karina Khan in a ten-women tag team match. It was a fun match and she was happy to see her girls going at it against one another. Of course, it didn't last long since Charlotte had pissed off her teammates and soon this caused her to be left alone.

However, Ronda and Asuka didn't get along for long either and began going at it. The two soon got into a fight with their opponents for Sunday, leaving Karina and the Boss 'n' Hug Connection alone with Charlotte. Despite Charlotte trying to cheat, the number's games were too much for her. Karina helps her teammates get the win and the three champions pose in the ring as they gained momentum for Sunday.

Ruby even got to see the main event between Kofi Kingston versus Kurt Angle. In a match where one could be possibly having his last match on TV, while the other is having his last match on TV before WrestleMania. It was a good back and forth match with Kofi getting the crowd behind him. Ruby is hoping he won't lose Sunday and hopes he does win the WWE title.

However, she wanted Kurt to get the win to gain momentum for Sunday. Well, she got her wish as Bryan once again got involved and Kurt got the win over Kofi. It was a bit of a shallow victory, but Kurt didn't know what happened. In the end, the crowd thanked both wrestlers and the two embraces in a hug while Kurt wishes Kofi luck.

Ruby felt bad for Kofi, but she is hoping he does get the win Sunday and he won't have to retire.

As she gets ready, she sees Kurt Angle walking into the room. He has a towel over his right shoulder, he appeared to still be sweating, and breathing a little heavy after what he went through. The two stared at each other without saying a word. They both knew there were no more words that needed to be said.

They both said plenty enough and have made their actions clear. They are ready, will do whatever it takes to win, and know win or lose they will go out giving it their all.

Kurt soon extended his hand to Ruby wanting to wish her luck. Ruby begins to smile and shook Kurt's hand as the two showed their respect for one another. Kurt soon took off and Ruby for a moment saw the fire in his eyes. She knows he is ready for her and she is ready for him.

He is looking forward to fighting her and will give it his all. Ruby couldn't wait for it and couldn't wait for WrestleMania. She grabs her things and heads off to New York so she can watch her wife's title match. She also wanted to spend time with her girls in Brooklyn and have some fun before WrestleMania.

Its going to be a lot of fun and she couldn't wait for the showcase of the immortals.

That's the end of the chapter and it looks like they are both ready for WrestleMania. This is good since they will give it their all for the fans. Also, let's be honest I love Baron Corbin, but I wish he got a better push and didn't fight Kurt. It should have been Cena or someone else who could have gotten the push better?

Still, don't worry he will still get a push…just not right now. Anyways, how will things go for WrestleMania? Will we get the same kind of results as last year? Will this year be different?

Will we crown a new champion or maybe new champions? Will it be with people who deserve it? Think they will win fair and square? Or think there will be some cheating involved?
