Bits and Bobs
Dilemma
Molly Weasley sighed as she made her way down into the Burrow's kitchen to begin breakfast. She had just confirmed something she had suspected for a little while now.
She had discovered her only daughter, Ginny, in bed with her boyfriend, Harry Potter and it had been obvious that they had become intimate as both were nude.
She knew that they had become much closer since the end of the war and especially after the family had returned to the Burrow but it wasn't until that moment that she was able to confirm her suppositions .
Fortunately she hadn't awoken either of the pair and was able to discreetly withdraw leaving the fact that she had discovered them known only to herself.
Wasting no time she placed the kettle on the hob and within moments she was sitting down at the table with a fresh cup of tea.
She actually found herself smiling slightly as she remembered back to when she and Arthur had first become intimate. It hadn't been until after they were married that her mother had told her that she had discovered the two of them together asleep in bed.
Now here she found herself in the exact same situation. On one hand she wanted to confront her daughter but on the other hand she wanted to emulate her dearly departed mother and keep the fact secret until much later, like after they had married.
Not that they had given any hint that they were planning on it anytime soon, but she was confident that it would take place in the foreseeable future.
Molly sat there contemplating the situation for a short while before she heard someone on the stairs. It didn't take long before Ginny appeared, a dreamy smile on her face.
Molly smiled a bit smugly. "Sleep well?" she inquired.
"Wonderfully," Ginny replied, but then the smile disappeared from her face when she got a good look at her mother. She had that "knowing" look on her face.
While Ginny was trying to figure out what was going on with her mother, Harry came down the stairs.
"Good Morning, Mrs. Weasley," he called out with a smile as he hugged Ginny from behind.
"Hello Harry, sleep well?" she asked a bit smugly as she rose and headed to the stove to start cooking breakfast.
"Yes, yes I did," Harry replied a little unsurely, giving Ginny a questioning look.
Ginny gave him a shrug before looking back at her mother. "Is everything all right?" she asked, sounding a little concerned.
"Everything is fine," Molly replied, making sure she kept her face toward the stove so they couldn't see the smile on her face. "Why? Is there anything I should know?" she asked, trying hard to hide her amusement.
Harry and Ginny shared a concerned look.
"No, nothing," Ginny replied, her voice rising a little.
Molly chuckled softly to herself, loving that she was causing a bit of discomfort for her daughter and Harry.
Turning she smiled brightly. "Why don't you two set the table," she instructed before she turned back to the stove.
She sighed happily, glad she could still tease her daughter and someone she considered all but a son.
With Molly's back turned Harry and Ginny had a silent conversation, each asking the other if they thought Molly knew about their sleeping arrangements.
Though they didn't think so, they weren't one hundred percent sure and they knew that they'd have to a bit more careful in the future.
