(Note from author: Now I give you, chapter 2. Sorry it took me so long! Also, Dipper is in the lead for the poll! You have until the end of the next chapter to vote. If you need to look back on what the poll is about, go to my last chapter!)
As soon as they walked through the gate, Dipper and Mabel awed at their surroundings. It was a colorful school filled with gems. A lot of the gems noticed Steven and said their hellos. Dipper started clicking his pen uncontrollably. "Dipper... you're nerding out again." Mabel sang. Dipper shoved his pen back in the bag. "How could I not be?! We are in the presence of aliens! Isn't that worth, quote unquote, nerding out for?" Dipper said. "Nope!" Mabel said. Dipper rolled his eyes and followed Steven and Connie.
"The gems are probably busy, so I can take you to see Bismuth, Lapis, and Peridot." Connie said. Bismuth and Peridot were on the boardwalk, trying to get Lapis to try ice cream. "Seriously, it's better than you think." Bismuth laughed. As soon as the four of them saw the gems, Steven whispered, "Should I sneak up on them?" "Do it." Connie whispered with a faint laugh. Steven ducked behind the bench they were sitting at. Peridot adjusted her visor. "Did you hear that?" Peridot asked. Steven popped out from behind. "SURPRISE!" Steven shouted. The three gems gasped. "Steven?!" they all said. They all hugged him and started to tear up. "We missed you so much!" Bismuth said. "Don't worry, I've been putting that art set to good use." Lapis said, wiping her tears away. Steven laughed as he gave all of them a big hug.
While Steven was reuniting with his family, Dipper turned to Connie. "Are they related?" Dipper asked. "Well, kind of? They were super close with his mom, and they're considered family." Connie said. "They're so colorful!" Mabel said. "Wanna say hi?" Connie asked the twins. "Yes please!" Mabel said. Connie guided them to the gems. "Oh, hey Connie!" Peridot said. "Guys, this is Mabel and Dipper. They're his friends from that Gravity Falls I was telling you about!" Connie said cheerfully. "Welcome to the most amazing place on Earth, well, so far!" Lapis said with a kind smile. "Peridot. Nice to meet you!" "Nice to meet a friend of Steven's!" Bismuth said.
Dipper felt like he was gonna throw up. He had so many questions. It was like meeting the author all over again. "Hello! I'm Mabel! Glitter and Pig extraordinaire!" Mabel said. "Hi. Dipper. Also, can I ask you about a million questions about the universe?" Dipper said, pulling out a notebook. "Woah, woah, woah, let's save the questions for later." Steven said. Dipper was really fascinated by the gems. It showed a LOT, even when Steven was just talking to him. "So, uh. Have you seen Pearl and the others yet?" Bismuth said, a bit confused by Dipper's antics. "No, not yet. Would you know where they are?" Steven asked. "The last time I saw them, they were at the greenhouse." Peridot said. "It's about… 12:30, so Pearl would be at her technology class." Steven said. "Then, why don't you go?" Lapis said. "Are you sure you don't want me to stay here with you guys?" Steven asked. "No, go ahead. We'll be waiting." Bismuth said. "Ok, I'll be here for the day, so I can see you guys later! Bye!" Steven said, waving bye. "Bye Steven!" Peridot said.
As he heads with Connie to go see the other gems, he says, "It was nice to see them after a while." Mabel looks at his brother. "As I said, nerding out." Mabel says, nudging Dipper with her elbow. Dipper sighs. He had missed his chance.
Note from writer: Yeah, this will be split up in maybe two more chapters. But, I hope you enjoy the Pines twin's adventures in Beach City! Who knows what I'm gonna do while they are there? Maybe a little fusion... maybe bring back Bluebird Azurite… But, you will find out yourself. :)
