Chapter 16: Starlight wonder-HIC-land by Riverhusky (Mystreet)

Aphmau's laugh was cut short when Zane pushed her to the couch, tackling her. Aaron giggled at them, and smiled at the pink haired girl he had pinned against a wall. Starlight Theme Park was normally beautiful, but rain had struck today. They had been planning to go to a new area, but those plans where interrupted. The trip was going perfectly.

"What are you doing?" Lucinda came in and looked around, Katelyn close behind.

"We are at war." Zane stated matter of factor, and Aphmau burst out giggling.

Kawaii-Chan wriggled out her captors grasp as he was distracted, dashing over to help Zane. Aaron groaned defeatedly, his ears dropping. Aphmau stood up, and Zane let her.

"Why don't I make some drinks?" Aphmau smiles around, as Zane and Aaron wiped sweat of their foreheads. They all nodded, and Aaron gave Aph a quick kiss on the cheek as she left, causing a high pitched squeal from Kawaii-Chan.

Aphmau came back to her five friends sat around, and served all of them some lemonade she had found on the fridge, proceeding to sit next to Aaron and set her own glass to her lips. Everyone else followed suit, the room going quiet untill- HUC.

Everyone looked around, trying to find the source of the frog like noise. Zane clapped his hands over his mouth. Zane set down his empty cup on a table in the middle.

Singulto chuckled to himself. He thought back to all the worlds he had to go to to practice, talk to witch after witch to regain his magic over all genders. This was making the time worth it already. He said a silent thanks to Zeus for taking pity, even if he had had to give that smelly man, Dianious was his name, hiccups for a week just to make Zeus laugh.

"What was-HIC- that." Zane groaned. He has tried to play it of, but the hiccups wouldn't let him. There were mixed reactions. Lucinda looked questioningly, and Aaron slightly smiled. Both Aphmau and Kawaii-Chan were trying to to laugh, as Kawaii-Chan began to stroke Zanes back. Meanwhile, Katelyn just smirked at him.

"What was that Zane?" Aphmau burst out laughing. Aaron looked at her, holding back a smile.

"Are you ok? I've never seen you have hiccups this bad!" Kawaii-Chan looked at him nervously.

"I'm-HI-UCK-Ok Kawaii-Chan." Zane muttered to her, trying to smile at her then remembering she couldn't see it thro his mask.

"You've seen him have hiccups before?" Lucinda questioned Kawaii-Chan. Across the room, Aaron was squeezing Aphmau's hand to stop her giggles.

Kawaii-Chan flushes a beet red, "Well I… I mean…" she squeaked.

"I get them a lot, but there normally-HUK-quiet." Zane said calmly, trying to ignore the hiccups.

Lucinda gently grasped Zanes cup, and read the bottom. She smiled at the group, and silently went to fill it.

While this was happening, Singulto was laughing. He decided to chat with the red-head carrying him.

Thanks for not telling them, it will make it so much better. Singulto chuckled in Lucinda's head.

"Might as well get some pranks in, who should I go for?" Lucinda muttered quietly, smiling to herself.

The werewolf, I want to see him. Singulto was excited to see this play out. Lucinda nodded, filling up the glass cup with water. She then returned, and handed Aaron the cup.

"Your my test subject." Lucinda smiled, and Aaron shrugged, sipping the water.

Kawaii-Chan continued to rub Zanes back, and Zane pretended he didn't like it. He tried to ignore the loud jolts in his chest, but it was getting harder. But suddenly, a sharp high pitched barking sound can from Aaron. Aphmau burst out laughing, and Aaron clutched his throat.

"Whats-HIC-Happening to-HIK-me?" Aaron struggled, slapping his chest.

Zane and Aaron hiccuped in unison, like a frog and a Chiwawa having a conversation.

Aphmau got out past her giggles, "You have hiccups too Aaron!"

"I don't get-HIG-hiccups!" Aaron mumbled.

"HUK-Apparently you-HUK-do!" Zane smiled at Aaron, giving up and leaning into Kawaii-Chan.

For a few minutes, two situations played out. On one side of the room, Kawaii-Chan stroking Zanes back as he leaned into it, his body occasionally jolting. On the other side, Aaron had his hands clasped over his mouth, slightly confused about what was happening to him, well Aph laughter at him.

Tell them. Singulto suggested, and Lucinda nodded.

Lucinda then processed to explain the cup to her friends, and again mixed reactions pursued. A face of realization struck Zane and Kawaii-Chan, Aphmau looked longingly at the cup, Katelyn tried desperately to keep her composure; and Aaron looked very annoyed.

"Can you-HIK-make them go-HIC-away sooner-HUK." Aaron asked, and Lucinda contemplated.

"I might be able to brew something!" Lucinda smiled. She dashed upstairs, Singulto in hand.

"Please go-HUK-HUP-fast." Zane groaned, and Kawaii-Chan took his hand with her free one. Aaron tried to say something in agreement, but all he could get put past hiccups was "Hm" before returning to almost constant hiccups.

"Why don't we go play some Volleyball!" Katelyn finally spoke.

"In the rain?" Aph asked judgingly. Katelyn nodded, and the other two girls shrugged and followed her outside. Aaron and Zane stood up to, but Aaron was soon sent to the floor, hiccuping. His body was jolting almost every second, so walking was a no go.

"You-HUP-Ok?" Zane reached down and pulled Aaron up, propping him against himself as the began to walk. Aaron nodded as best he could.

Once they made it outside, Aphmau ran over to prop up Aaron's otherwise, smiling at Zane. Zanes body was still occasionally jolting, but not as often as Aaron. Kawaii-Chan saw the 3, and ran over to take Zanes place, parting Zanes back for a second, then. Gripping his hand with her free one. They managed to get to a small bench, and sit Aaron on it. He made a annoyed helpless face, then was overcome with another fit of hiccups. Aaron nodded at them, and they went to play a game. Zanes hiccups got in the way abit, but not horribly.

After about 15 minutes, Lucinda and Singulto came out. Lucinda had her hand grasped around the cup.

"I found a cure!" Lucinda called to them, and Zane rushed over. He took the potion Lucinda offered him, and gladly drank it. He hiccuped a bit mid-drink, but eventually got enough in him.

"That's better." He grinned at Kawaii-Chan, and she perked up her black ears happily. Meanwhile, Aph had a potion to. She was attempting to give it to Aaron, but each time he hiccuped it came out like a fountain. After a minute, he took a deep breath with some in his mouth, and the hiccups vanished.

"I never want hiccups again." Aaron groaned, sinking down into himself. Aphmau giggled, and Kawaii-Chan grabbed her hand, her other hand had Singulto in it. They looked at eachother, and smiled. Then both took a deep sip, one after another. They both began to hiccup and giggle. Kawaii-Chan's hiccups were loud, short and high pitched. Aphmau's jolted her body, but we quieter and longer. The two girls giggled, having fun. Zane smiled at them, leaning against a nearby wall, Katelyn just rolled her eyes and started to play alone with the ball, and Lucinda held the cip and began to talk to it.

Singulto would have smiled if he could, Well, this has been fun.

"I hope I can see you again, I wish Garroth and Travis had been here." Lucinda smirked.

Maybe I'll come back then, I haven't had this much fun since Lady Irine! Singulto laughted.

Lucinda raised a eyebrow, "You've met Lady Irine?"

Ya, she was a right laugh. Singulto smiled, laughing more.

"Anyway," Lucinda poured the remaining potion she had made into Singulto. "That will cure hiccups. Absorb it into your self of something, and you might be able to cure hiccups as well as cause them." She stated matter of factly. Singulto quickly formed into a iron camping cup, absorbing the liquid.

Thanks, I'll try it out sometime! Singulto smiled to himself.

"Just thing about it, and you might be to swap between powers. The potion is only made to combat your powers, so I'm not sure if it would work on normal hiccups." Lucinda shrugged. Singulto transformed into a butterfly, and nodded at her.

Thanks! Singulto called, fluttering away into another world.

"Who where you talking to?" Aaron asked Lucinda from his bench, opening his eyes. He had been taking deep breaths on the bench, his eyes closed and his back slumped, he had hidden his werewolf parts.

"Just a friend." Lucinda smiled, and turned to watch Aph and Kawaii-Chan mess around, giggling and hiccuping. Aaron raised a eyebrow at her, then turned to do the same.

I'll miss you Lucinda Singulto smiled, projecting his voice into her head. She smiled.
