Chapter 16- Rip in the Multiverse
Earth-199999, New York Sanctum
"If he could have sent that into Space, no way in Hell anyone's messing with him", Ollie said.
"Dormammu is getting frustrated in fighting him, I think that says something", Peter said.
"He may be able to deliver the final blow", Oromë said in agreement.
"Well, let's hope he does", Wanda nodded as they all watched.
Same time, near New York City
"So you're going to take me down? You do know how to give a good laugh, don't you?" Dormammu asked and then laughed hysterically. "And we both have such great titles, don't we? The Great Demon. The First and Last Kryptgardian. We might as well say we're invincible. But let's not forget the stats. You are two people, powerful yes, but just two, while I have entire Dimensions."
"It's quality, not quantity, my friend", SuperThor countered with a taunting smirk, the aura of Odinforce still around him. "And our powers weren't achieved by taking over people's Dimensions against their will via religious fanatics. But if you wanna win this fight via petty zealotry, then", he gestured to come closer with his hand. "Come prove it."
"Enough!" Dormammu said, grunting angrily. "You talk too much. I'll make sure you never speak to me again."
And with that, he charged SuperThor at full speed with a punch. "You're finished!"
With a roar, he tried to punch but SuperThor side-stepped to avoid as Dormammu flew past him. He turned around, trying to punch again but SuperThor avoided the same way as Dormammu went past him.
Turning around, Dormammu tried to smack again but SuperThor flew over him. He then tried to kick but SuperThor backed to avoid.
He tried to hit again but SuperThor avoided and hovered behind Dormammu, his amazing speed being too much for the Great Demon.
Dormammu turned around to face him, growling angrily, and SuperThor turned his head to face him too, giving him a taunting smirk.
Flying back, he flew behind SuperThor and hurled an orb of Dark Magic at him. SuperThor made no move to dodge.
Then, as the orb came closer, he turned around and hurled it back at Dormammu with Stormbreaker, who absorbed his power back into himself.
He growled angrily again, only for SuperThor to fly at him at full speed, kicking him hard on the face as he was sent staggering back.
"I accept your surrender", SuperThor mocked before noticing the Dark mystical essence flowing on Dormammu's face in place of blood.
"Hey, did you know there's blood, or whatever you have in its place, on your face, or whatever that flaming thing is?" SuperThor mocked again. "Clean yourself up. You're a disgrace."
Dormammu grunted as he backed off and his wounds glowed before vanishing.
He then smirked and said. "I'm getting very angry with you now, and for me, that is a very bad thing. So watch yourself!"
He then let out a roar, a dark aura surrounding him as he punched SuperThor in the abdomen, making him double down, before elbowing him on the back, and then kicked him on the chin, sending him flying off by a few feet up into the air as he smashed through a cliff.
Dormammu appeared next to him and smacked him again, sending him crashing through another cliff into the water below.
He then raised both hands and fired several blasts of Dark Magic into the water, causing a huge whirlpool to be formed as smoke bellowed from the area.
Same time, New York Sanctum
"What now?" Sam wondered as all watched, their hearts beating faster by every second.
Same time, near New York City
The whirlpool stopped before an aura of Odinforce and golden lightning shot out of the water, making it fly high in the air like a tsunami before falling back down, and SuperThor stood there once again, that infuriating (to Dormammu) smirk on his face.
"That wasn't too bad", he taunted. "But your aim is lousy, what were you shooting at? Because it wasn't me or the fish for sure."
Dormammu grunted angrily as SuperThor said. "Looks like I have to show you again how it's done."
Aiming Stormbreaker at him, he screamed. "HHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!"
The water below him twirled, forming another whirlpool, which then rose up surrounding him as Stormbreaker glowed.
"Still hungry for power, Dormammu?" SuperThor asked mockingly. "Eat this!"
And then he fired a powerful God-Blast from Stormbreaker, and fired powerful golden Heat Vision from his eyes too, right into the God-Blast, adding to its power as it flew towards Dormammu, who could only gasp in horror as the entire cliff on which he stood was obliterated.
Same time, New York Sanctum
"He did it!" Merry cheered happily.
"We are saved!" Pippin cheered too.
"I won't be so sure yet, bub", Logan warned them.
Same time, near New York City
The powerful beam that was a combination of the God-Blast and Heat Vision went up into Space, while SuperThor stood with a serious expression, watching the area where Dormammu had stood.
He could see dark smoke bellowing in the air, and that confirmed this wasn't over.
"Go ahead", he said mockingly. "Take your time."
Just as he finished, the smoke formed a giant shape in the sky, and it was none other than Dormammu himself.
Same time, New York Sanctum
"Can anything take that guy out?" Scott asked, exasperated.
Same time, near New York City
"I will get him", Dormammu grunted to himself. "I must."
SuperThor flew up, facing him directly as he fired out a blast of Dark Magic from his mouth, covering them both and blinding SuperThor, as even he couldn't see due to the Dark Magic involved.
Laughing hysterically, Dormammu asked. "What do you think you will do now? You can't hit me if you can't see me."
"Well, you're half right. I can't see you", SuperThor said before there were sounds of punches and kicks and Dormammu groaning as he was kicked out of the Dark Magic he had conjured.
"How can this be?" He grunted as SuperThor flew out of the Dark Magic, making him back off slightly.
"You villains never take true pride in your fighting skills. It takes more than eyesight, a strong arm and a weapon to be a warrior", SuperThor said, flexing.
And then they disappeared.
Same time, New York Sanctum
"Why does this always have to happen?" Frank groaned as Fate changed the projection to Middle-earth, where the two had ended up now.
Same time, Middle-earth
Dormammu roared, only to get a hard punch to the face, sending him back. He tried to kick but SuperThor grabbed his foot and flew down, roaring as an aura of Odinforce again erupted around him, while he threw Dormammu down, who crashed into the ground.
Flying down, SuperThor raised Stormbreaker and a powerful wind emanated from it, raising Dormammu into the air as SuperThor flew up, keeping Dormammu hovering in the air with the wind.
"What's wrong?" SuperThor asked. "Has your confidence finally dropped? You know your run can't last forever, not while I'm on guard. It's not much fun being hunted down, is it, Dormammu? Being hunted the same way your mad dog Carnage hunted down people all over the Multiverse. Tell me, does it hurt?"
Dormammu roared in anger. "Curse you!"
And then, struggling against the wind, he actually straightened himself, to SuperThor's shock, who then stopped the wind and smirked.
"I warned you!" Dormammu snarled. "I warned you not to make me angry!"
And then, he transformed into pure Dark Magic and flew up into the air, as SuperThor looked up at him, his mouth open.
In that moment, Dormammu in his Dark Magic form entered SuperThor's mouth, and started going down his throat, slowly fattening him up as SuperThor couldn't do a thing.
And soon, all of Dormammu was inside of SuperThor, who had now been fattened up.
"Oh no!" He said.
Dormammu laughed hysterically from inside him and said. "I have you now! I am inside! Increase your power all you want, I'll only get stronger! If you thought you were sick of me before, wait till I start tearing you apart from the inside!"
As Dormammu laughed hysterically again, SuperThor clutched and un-clutched his fists a few times before smirking and saying. "You must really think I'm an amateur."
"What?" Dormammu asked.
Clutching his fists and raising them, SuperThor let out a roar.
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
Golden ightning started crackling around him as he continued roaring.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"
He then started flying up into the air.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRGGGHHHH!"
Down below, an old man with a bushy moustache and bright smile, whose duty was to light the beacon he was assigned to, heard the screaming and said. "This isn't screaming. This is noise pollution."
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGHHH! UUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!"
And then, the Odinforce erupted around him again as he flew near the sun, taking in its energy too while golden lightning cracked and dark clouds gathered while it rained all of Arda, from Middle-earth to Valinor due to his power.
And soon, he was back to normal, hovering in the air. His shoulder suddenly expanded and he punched it, making Dormammu groan as he escaped into his knee, but SuperThor elbowed him, making him groan and escape into his other arm.
SuperThor punched that arm and Dormammu escaped into his back.
SuperThor crashed himself on his back on a cliff, shattering it as Dormammu groaned again.
"I don't understand!" He said. "You should be under my control!"
"It's simple", SuperThor said as stood up. "I have used the Odinforce and sunlight to isolate you in my body. And as long as you stay in there, I have complete control over you, which is fine if you don't mind it."
SuperThor's mouth opened as Dormammu shot out of it in Dark Magic form, reforming his body as he glared at his opponent.
SuperThor wiped his mouth with a smirk and taunted. "I'd say add some spice but nothing is going to get your bad taste out of my mouth. I'm taking you off the menu."
"You've got some nerve trying to mock me like that!" Dormammu snapped. "I'll destroy you! I swear if it's the last thing I do! I am not someone a pest like you can mock!"
Same time, New York Sanctum
"Okay, this was….icky", Gwen said.
"What?" Spidey asked her.
Mimicking SuperThor's voice, she said. "Remember that time a demon entered me through my mouth? Yeah, I still can't get the bad taste of my mouth!"
"Urrrghhh!" Everyone went simultaneously.
"And to think you're a few months younger than me, making you the youngest", Parker said as she chuckled.
"Actually, the youngest would be him", Peter Maximoff said, pointing at Shazam, making them look at him in confusion.
"Yeah, long story", he said with a chuckle.
"I think I would be younger than him, as I am only a few months old", Adam said as all looked at him.
"This is going to drive me nuts", Oliver told everyone.
Same time, Middle-earth
Dormammu roared madly as the sky darkened while Dark Magic emanated from him, covering the sky as he continued roaring while the power emanating from his blew SuperThor back, making him clutch the ground with his fingernails to stop himself.
"You are nothing compared to me!" Dormammu screamed at SuperThor.
Many cliffs nearby shattered into pieces as SuperThor stood up and looking around said. "That's it. Try everything you can."
Dormammu continued roaring as lightning emanated from the sky as well.
Same time, New York Sanctum
Feeling something, Tony walked towards the door and opened it and they looked up to see that the sky on the Earth was being covered by Dormammu's Dark Dimension too.
"Okay, anyone care to explain?" He asked. "They are over there, we are over here!"
"Dormammu is going really out of control now", Strange said.
"Aren't people like him always though?" Bart shrugged.
"This is worse!" Stephen said in an alarmed tone that alarmed everyone else. "He is breaking the Dimensions down. He can destroy the Universe this way, and even some of the Multiverse!"
"WHAT?" Pretty much everyone went at the same time.
"Why isn't he stopping Dormammu?" Steve asked about SuperThor.
Same time, Earth-199999, somewhere in the Universe
Galactus looked around at the Dark Dimension covering the Universe and holes being blown in the Dimension.
"No!" He grunted as he took off in pursuit of the source of this.
Uatu looked around at the Dark Dimension and said. "This is going to cause repercussions."
Mephisto's Realm
Mephisto noticed Dark Dimension seeping in while sitting on his throne.
"Someone has really made Dormammu angry", he commented.
Earth-1, Los Angeles, Lux
Lucifer Morningstar looked at the sky and the Dark Dimension covering it.
"Bloody hell, not this again", Lucifer nonchalantly commented as he sat down with a smirk. "I think someone needs a Snickers."
Earth-50
Darkseid saw the Dark Dimension covering the sky, and watched with a firm gaze.
Earth-1
Mar-Novu looked around at the Dark Dimension covering the Space and said in surprise. "This should not happen! It's impossible!"
Same time, Middle-earth
"You shall pay for your insolence!" Dormammu said before he continued roaring, ripping more holes through Dimensions.
"Is he trying to destroy everything? So much for adding this world into the Dark Dimension", SuperThor commented. "This has gone too far!"
And then, raising Stormbreaker, he flew up towards the roaring Dormammu. With a roar, he tried to attack but a barrier appeared in his way, holding him back while Dormammu continued roaring, slowly collapsing everything.
SuperThor grunted as he tried to push against the barrier.
"S-Stop this!" He said.
Dormammu roared louder as the barrier glowed and started pushing SuperThor back.
SuperThor let out a loud roar as the Odinforce erupted around him again and this time, he started pushing the barrier back with Stormbreaker.
And slowly, he managed to cut through it and flying towards Dormammu, he gave him an uppercut with his ax, sending him crashing to the ground while he smirked.
The Dark Magic soon dissipated from the skies and eventually, the Universe, and eventually the Multiverse.
Same time, Earth-199999, New York Sanctum
Everyone let out a sigh of relief.
"That was close", Superman said.
"Really hoping it doesn't get this bad again", Scott told everyone.
Same time, Middle-earth
Dormammu rose back up as SuperThor said. "Well, that was too close for comfort, but I hope you've learnt your lesson. There's no way you can beat me. Unless you have other tricks you're holding back."
Dormammu glared as SuperThor said. "You've great power. Don't waste it", he pointed at himself. "Why don't you try it out on yours truly?"
Dormammu transformed into pure Dark Magic and at full speed, flew in front of SuperThor where he rematerialized and tried to slice him with a sword he had conjured, only for SuperThor to block in time with Stormbreaker.
The power of the clash was enough to send out shockwaves as the ground shook. Some shockwaves reached Space too.
Dormammu kept trying to strike as SuperThor blocked with Stormbreaker before dodging some of the strikes by flying here and there.
And then, he flew at Dormammu and kneed, him, sending him back before slicing his face with Stormbreaker, making him groan in pain.
He then fired powerful golden lightning and golden Heat Vision simultaneously as Dormammu screamed again.
Then Dormammu transformed into Dark Magic and wrapped around SuperThor tightly, slowly trying to suffocate him as he grunted.
Then he let out a loud roar.
"YYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGGGHHHH!"
The Odinforce erupted around him again as the Dark Magic dispersed, making Dormammu reform again in front of a smirking SuperThor.
Same time, New York Sanctum
"Is it just me or is he behaving like Kal too much?" Chloe asked.
"What do you mean by that?" Kent asked.
"When our Clark got on Red Kryptonite, he called himself Kal and just loved being a total show-off", Ollie explained.
"I hate Red Kryptonie", Danvers muttered.
"He is behaving like Thor when he he used to be too arrogant", Sif said.
"Oh yes, I remember", Loki groaned.
"Looks like something did go wrong then", Strange said regretfully. "When two people fuse, their personalities might get jumbled at times."
"And looks like right now, both of their worst is at the forefront", Stephen said and all groaned. "The bad parts of their personalities sprang through the fusion instead of the good parts like it should have been. We made a mistake."
"We need to trust that he can do it, arrogant or not", Gandalf said to everyone.
Same time, Middle-earth
"Curse you!" Dormammu roared. "You're like a Demon!"
"You're the one with the flaming head", SuperThor countered calmly and on seeing Dormammu's expression said. "Hey! Don't be so down. You've been winning every single fight you've gotten yourself into today. But everyone meets their better sooner or later."
"I won't lose to you!" Dormammu snarled as he blew out Dark Magic from his mouth and it formed several dark figures.
All of them turned into smaller versions of Dormammu, all created via Dark Magic.
As they flew at SuperThor, he fired lightning from Stormbreaker, destroying some of them, and destroyed the remaining with Heat Vision.
"You really thought that would take me down?" He asked incredulously.
"Oh no! I was doing what you people call a 'test run'", Dormammu said. "I have a variation to this."
And with that, he fired Dark Magic from his mouth again as many others smaller versions of Dormammu were formed, and this time, they numbered many more.
"If you think this is going to be the same, you are wrong", Dormammu said.
"Yes, I noticed you've a bigger litter this time", SuperThor shrugged.
Suddenly, all of them transformed into large orbs of Dark Magic and flew at SuperThor simultaneously, making him turn around and fly off, trying to avoid.
He flew down towards Moria as the orbs chased him. The Watcher in the Water popped his head out but one of the orbs hit it, destroying it.
SuperThor rammed into the debris the Watcher had dropped at the entrance to trap the Fellowship, and he flew further in as the orbs continued flying after him, some hitting walls or pillars.
Then SuperThor saw three small versions of Dormammu made of flames standing in his way. They transformed into orbs of flames and flew at him too.
SuperThor stopped as the orbs of Dark Magic as well as the orbs of flames hit him from both sides and a large explosion occurred, destroying that part of the cave.
Same time, New York Sanctum
"Now Moria is being disturbed in this too", Thorin said regretfully.
"Hope that killed all the Goblins still living there", Gimli muttered.
Same time, Middle-earth
Dormammu hovered over the debris and looked at the smoke emanating, a smirk on his face, which disappeared when he saw no body.
"Where's his body?" Dormammu wondered. "It has to be here."
Then he heard something behind him and turned around as freeze breath empowered by Odinforce hit his face, making him stagger back as he groaned.
"This would suit you much better, you know that?" SuperThor asked mockingly, still alive and unscathed.
"How?" Dormammu asked.
"A good deal of super speed, my friend", SuperThor said mockingly. "That was a clever idea by the way, using your orbs of Dark Magic. And those fiery versions of yourself? Whoa! I could have been killed."
As Dormammu continued glaring, SuperThor said. "Okay, maybe I am exaggerating a little bit. But I could have at least gotten a bruise or a little cut."
Dormammu roared as he charged SuperThor, only for him to dodge and kick him on the back, staggering him away.
They sped around again as SuperThor punched Dormammu, then sliced his chest, then kicked his face, before elbowing his back.
"Come on, Dormammu! Use your eyes instead of trying to feel where I am", SuperThor mocked.
"You fool!" Dormammu screamed as he fired several blasts of Dark Magic and also tried to punch, but SuperThor blocked every time.
"Without this two man fusion, I can rip both of you apart!" Dormammu roared.
As Dormammu tried to punch more times, SuperThor raised his knee to block all attacks as he said. "Oh yeah! Look who's talking! You get all your strength by having zealots worship you and absorbing whole Dimensions."
As he tried to punch, SuperThor blocked with his knee as Dormammu snarled. "I am going to kill you!"
"At least make me use my hands", SuperThor mocked.
"That does it", Dormammu said as he formed a powerful ball of Dark Magic in his hands, only for SuperThor to hit it with Stormbreaker, sending it flying off into a random direction, and then he kicked Dormammu, sending him back.
"You can't even lay a hand on me and yet you refuse to admit defeat. Your pride is blinding you. Can't you see the writing that's on the wall of the Multiverse? Quit. You're done. Admit you're wrong and surrender", SuperThor taunted him.
"Never" Dormammu snarled as a dark aura surrounded him while SuperThor was surrounded by an aura of Odinforce as well. The energy they were giving out shattered nearby cliffs and made rocks fly into the air.
The two tried to strike each other a few times but both dodged before SuperThor sliced Dormammu's abdomen with Stomrbreaker and punched him, sending him flying into a cliff, shattering it.
Dormammu flew back and tried to punch as SuperThor blocked with Stormbreaker while rocks flew into the sky all around them due to their power. Both tried to hit each other and both blocked before SuperThor punched him on the face, then passing Stormbreaker to that hand, punched him on the face with his other fist too before hitting him with Stormbreaker, sending him to the ground, forming a giant crater.
He put Stormbreaker on his belt as Dormammu charged again and both locked their hands together, trying to overpower each other as Dormammu's aura of Dark Magic surrounded his body while SuperThor's aura of Odinforce surrounded his body.
Dormammu then flipped SuperThor over and kneed him in the gut, only for SuperThor to knee him on the face, staggering him back.
SuperThor then raised both hands in front of him.
"I'm going to count to ten, and then, I will kill you", he said as Dormammu simply watched, glaring.
"One! Two! Three!"
Same time, New York Sanctum
"Hope he ends him with that", Steve said.
Same time, Middle-earth
"Four! Five!" SuperThor said before telling Dormammu. "You can charge me now if you want."
"Six! Seven! Eight! Nine! Ten!"
Dormammu transformed into pure Dark Magic and charged SuperThor while lightning crackled from him and the sky and the Odinforce erupted around while his eyes also glowed with Heat Vision as he raised Stormbreaker, charging up the God-Blast, and charged Dormammu.
Just before they could clash, SuperThor melted into nothingness and two Astral forms sped out of him.
Same time, New York Sanctum
Thor and Kal awoke with gasps as their Astral forms entered their body, and both looked horrified, just like everyone else in the room
"What the hell happened?" Rhodes said. "The one hour is still not up!"
"Must be their huge amount of power. One body couldn't handle that amount of power for too long", Strange said. "Didn't think about that."
"What did you think about when you did this?" Oliver asked angrily.
"For some reason, I was behaving like I used to before father banished me", Thor said, looking around.
"And I behaved like I do on Red Kryptonite", Kal said.
"Because the fusion jumbled up your personalities and brought the worst to the forefront. Basically, your bad qualities sprang to the forefront when the fusion happened. We made a mistake while doing it", Stephen told him regretfully.
"Well you should have thought of it before!" Pepper exploded on him.
"Honey, calm down", Tony said, holding her back.
"No I can't calm down!" She said.
"There is only one thing that can be done now", Aragorn said regretfully. "We all have to take on him together and somehow win."
And there goes the fusion idea, but at least SuperThor gave Dormammu a nice fight before being taken down.
But you know, SuperThor taking down Dormammu would have been an anti-climatic ending.
But worry not, I have a good climax planned and you will all like it a lot.
