Two Heart Changes
Three more weeks have passed since Rina helped Mala's tribe. Now the group was back on Berk flying together, but Rina wasn't flying on Snow. Nope. She was flying with her own wings! Hiccup and the others decided to help her fly whenever her mark would make her wings appear, "You're doing great, Rina." Astrid praised.
"Rina.." Aurora replied to her with a smile as she kept her balance. "The most important thing is balance.." Hiccup advised her.
"Oh please, flying fast and crazy is more important!" Snotlout scoffed. "Flying safety is boring."
"Snotlout, Rina needs to practice with her wings more than she can start flying faster." Hiccup replied to his cousin. Snotlout groaned, "Fine.."
"Hey Hiccup, I have a question. Since when did Dagur and Viggo get on the beach?" Tuffnut questioned, pointing to the beach and the riders did saw Dagur the Deranged and Viggo Grimborn on the shores!
"What are they doing here?!" Astrid growled.
"I don't know and I don't wanna find out." Zenna stated. "Let's go.." Zenna and the others flew down near Viggo and Dagur. Rina landed and her mark glowed softly and her wings disappeared. Rina could see that something wasn't right. "Alright Viggo and Dagur, what are you two doing here?" Hiccup growled. Toothless hissed at the Dragon Hunter and Beserker Chief... but strangely got no reply.
"Not talking huh?" Astrid warned.
"Guys wait... something's not right..." Rina said as she moved towards Viggo and Dagur. The two appeared to be standing on their own but.. they were swaying back and forth a little bit for some reason. "Viggo...? Dagur..?"
This time the two let out a reply... which was a small groan before they collapsed on the sand! "Viggo! Dagur!" Rina gasped.
"Woah!" Snotlout gasped.
Rina checked their bodies and felt their heads, "They've got a fever..." and she checked their arms and to her horror found a puncture wound from a bite mark. Rina immediately knew what bite it was, "Slitherwing bite marks!" she exclaimed.
"What?!" Everyone exclaimed in shock.
"We gotta get them to Gothi. NOW!" Rina stated she picked up Viggo and Dagur. Rina and Hiccup got on Toothless and flew towards Gothi with the others following close behind.
The first thing Viggo and Dagur noticed as they woke up was a brown wooden ceiling. They turned and saw Rina's face along with Gothi's. "What...?"
The two tried to sit up but Rina gently pushed them down, "Don't get up, you two... rest. I gave you Slitherwing Anti-venom for your bite marks." Viggo and Dagur grunted as they laid back down in the bed. "Just take it easy..."
Meanwhile, outside of Gothi's place. Hiccup and the others were discussing with Stoick, Gobber and Zenna's parents about Viggo and Dagur and they weren't happy.
"So you thought it was a good idea to bring them onto our island for what reason?" Stoick grumbled.
"Chief, they were bitten by a Slitherwing, its venom kills within a day and judging by those puncture wounds on their arms, they got bit hours ago.." Zenna stated. "We couldn't just leave them to die. We're not heartless."
"But still honey, they are a major danger to Rina and all the dragons." Edgar scolded his daughter. "Once they are healed, they leave, got it?" Henna added.
"Yes mom." Zenna stated. Then the group heard Viggo, Dagur and Rina talking inside, Viggo nodded, "H-How'd we get here?"
"We found you twostaggering on beach with Slitherwing bit marks in your arm." Aurora stated.
"Yeah, well thanks for your help but I didn't need it." Dagur grumbled.
"Well you're near-death experience says otherwise, misters." Rina rebuttled with a raised eyebrow
Viggo hmphed, "Well then, why don't you just turn around and go bother someone else, we have nothing to discuss."
"Oh really?" Rina questioned, "Well listen tough guys, I know that 'Alpha man' act works on most people but it won't work on-"
"Yeah, yeah, we'll I got to-" Dagur interrupted.
"You did not just interrupt me, mister!" Aurora snapped, "Look Viggo and Dagur, I may not completely know what you two are like but what I do know is that you are still sick and weak and you're not leaving until your healed."
"Uh..." Dagur and Viggo said unison
"Did I ask a question to which the is 'uhhhh?' No I didn't. Now, hush up and listen, you two will drop your attitude and you two will smile and you will let me help you out, got it?" Rina ordered with a raised eyebrow. Viggo and Dagur looked at her for a second before Viggo actually grinned and not in an evil way, "Okay.."
"Really?" Rina asked surprised.
"No one's ever talked to me like that before, I kinda liked it." Viggo stated with a grin
"Hmph, fine then. And while you're here, you two are gonna act civilized to my friends, the villagers and especially the dragons here, you understand?" Rina questioned with her serious look.
"Yes Ma'am." Dagur teased.
Hiccup and the others were shocked, not only by Rina's authority attitude but that Viggo actually liked Aurora's authority tone and attitude. "She cannot be serious.." Ruffnut stated. "Right?"
"If she was joking, she probably wouldn't have talked back to Viggo and Dagur like that." Astrid pointed out. "She's like a small version of you, Chief."
Even Stoick had to admit it, "She did remind me of myself."
"So what do we do now?" Snotlout asked. "There is no way, I'm letting them near Hookfang."
"We keep a very, very close eye on Viggo and Dagur. If there's one thing they can't be its' civilized.." Hiccup told the group, who nodded in agreement. "And keep him away from the dragons, if I know Viggo, he try something on them.."
After about an hour, Viggo and Dagur were bandaged and were walking with Rina through the village. "I see you have a special way with dragons, Rina.." Viggo started.
"Yeah... and..." Rina stated.
"I've only seen Hiccup and his friends with such a skill.." Viggo stated.
"Yeah, big whoop. I could tame any dragon..?" Dagur bragged, earning a chuckle from Rina, "I'd like to see you try.."
"Oh yeah..." Dagur challenged before he saw Twilight nearby. "Watch the master.." Viggo and Rina stopped walking and watched as Dagur went up to Twilight. The Titan Wing Monstrous Nightmare snarled at the Beserker. "Now now, you. Mind if I ride on your back..?" Dagur said grabbing one of Twilight's horns, resulting in Twilight flinging the boy into the air. "AAAAAH!"
THUD!
And he landed in front of Viggo and Rina face first. "So how'd it go?" Rina asked him, earning a groan from him.
After that, Viggo and Dagur were sitting outside the Fiersome Hut while Rina was in the Academy with her friends.
The two of the looked up and were met with Henna, Edgar and Zenna in front of them. "Can we help you?" Viggo asked casually. Henna and Edgar spoke with him, "Alright Viggo, what are you planning?" Edgar asked.
"Planning?" Viggo answered.
"Don't act so innocent, we know you secretly plan ahead.." Henna added with a growl. "You too, Dagur."
"What? No way..." Dagur dismissed.
"Oh please, I wouldn't dream of harming her..." Viggo replied nonchalantly.
"How do we know you two aren't lying through your teeth...?" Zenna questioned with a glare.
Viggo looked at Zenna, "If I've wanted to harm her, I would have done it hours after I was cleared to roam around this place. She's unlike any other women I've encountered; Intelligent, Observative and dare I say... on the pretty side, but I'm sure that'll just raised suspicious among you people, right...?"
Henna, Edgar and Zenna looked at Viggo with shocked expressions just as Rina came back over with Striker. "Alright you too, come on.." Rina called.
"Alright..." Viggo and Dagur said before they followed Rina and Striker, leaving a shocked Fiersome trio behind.
After recovering from their shock, Zenna, Henna and Edgar told Hiccup and the others what happened. "Are you sure, he said that?" Hiccup asked bewildered.
"He said every word.." Zenna stated.
"I-I-I don't understand. Could Viggo... really love Rina...? T-That can't be.." Hiccup stated.
"Oh Hiccup, it is most definitely can be. You didn't see how he looked during their first encounter... haha that man was head over heels at the girl.." Tuffnut stated.
"Yeah... that boy is in love with our little friend." Ruffnut added. Hiccup and the others looked at each other with concern and horror. "We have to stop them!" Hiccup exclaimed.
"Woah, woah, woah, what for?" Tuffnut asked.
"Uh Hello, he's a deadly dragon hunter, Dagur is a crazy nutjob and Rina is girl with dragon powers." Zenna said, exasperated.
"And...? Maybe that's a good thing.." Ruffnut stated.
"Name one reason why that would be a good thing?" Astrid deadpanned.
"One: Rina will know what its like to be in love with someone other than a dragon and Two: this can help us end our fight with the dragon hunters and trappers and Beserkers." Tuffnut stated, much to the groups' shock.
"... I hate to say it but... they're right..!" Hiccup admitted uneasily. "This may be a peaceful way to end the Dragon Hunters and Trappers."
As much as the others hated it, they all agreed to let Viggo and Dagur stay for about another day.
Later...
It was nightfall and Rina entered her room. Zenna and the dragons weren't inside at the moment, but she didn't care. She had a strange feeling in her heart... ever since she met Viggo.
At the same time, Viggo and Dagur were in Gothi's place. Dagur was asleep while Viggo was looking out the window at the same moon as Rina was and... he started singing...

What the duo didn't notice was that Zenna, her parents, Hiccup and his friends saw the whole thing. Hiccup and the others saw Viggo singing while Zenna and her parents saw Rina singing. They all looked at each other sadly before watching Viggo and Rina go to bed.
The Next Day...
Viggo and Dagur were healed from their injuries and they were now sailing out on their ship. "I heard your singing last night, Viggo." Dagur said. "What was that about...?"
"Oh don't worry, my dear Dagur... that's something you'll find out soon enough.." Viggo said as he sat on the deck while Dagur looked at him confused.
"... Okay... aren't you gonna tell me...?" he asked.
