Chapter 15: The Shredder's Message & Preparations
After Freddy told April the message he wanted to be given to the TMNS, April meet up with Michelangelo. She also met up with Sonia and her Yamper. Michelangelo began to lead April, Solana and Yamper through the sewers. The Ninja Squirtle looked to see if the coast was clear. Sonia was carrying her Pokémon. "Okay," said Michelangelo. He began to lead them through the tunnels. "Are you sure you weren't…?" asked Michelangelo. "They're not following me. They don't need to," said April. "Ugh. Why do you live in the sewers?" asked Sonia. Yamper whimpered due to the smell, which its nose was very sensitive to. "Nobody would want to look for us down here," said Michelangelo.
Ash & his friends were hanging about in the TMNS' subway lair when they saw Michelangelo and April walk down the ladder. April's Ninetales was present too. "Michelangelo, April, you're back," said Ninetales. "But we also have a new arrival who knows something about a disaster that happened last night," said April. Sonia and Yamper walked down next. "Who are you?" asked Ash. "My name is Sonia from the Galar Region. I'm the granddaughter and assistant of Professor Magnolia. This Pokémon here is my Yamper," said Sonia. Yamper barked hello to our heroes. "Hi, I'm Ash Ketchum. These are my friends, Hilda and Cilan. And this is my partner Pokémon, Pikachu," said Ash. "Pikachu," said Pikachu. Sonia was infatuated at how cute Pikachu looked and gasped. "It's crazy cute!" cried Sonia excitedly. She began to fell Pikachu's ears. much to his chagrin. April coughed to get everybody's attention. "Guys, I have some important news. And it's not good news," said April. "Huh?" asked everybody.
Very soon, April began to tell everybody the message Freddy wanted her to give to the Squirtles. Sonia also explained to the heroes about Dynamaxing and Gigantamaxing too. "Whoa. To think there would be a Pokémon battle style that allows a Trainer to Godzilla-fy their Pokémon," said Michelangelo. "Well there is," said Raphael. "And they said if you don't meet them at the construction site tonight . . . ," said April. She sighed. "What?" asked Donatello. "He'd send Tokka and Rahzar out again. This time into Pokémon Hills Nature Park," said April. "Oh, man," said Michelangelo. "Pokémon Hills?" asked Hilda. "How are they going to avoid all of those . . . people and Pokémon?" asked Donatello. "Especially if Tokka may inevitably step on any bystanders," said Leonardo. "That sicko! He'll do anything to lure us out!" said Ash.
"Pokémon Hills had finished recovering from the Genesect affair. We can't allow it to experience another attack," said Nancy. "Pikachu," said Pikachu in agreement. "Then there is no choice . . . but to meet as the Shredder wishes," said Splinter. "Okay," said Donatello. "He's just trying to force you guys into fighting Tokka and Rahzar again," said Ninetales. "We know," said Leonardo. "But you can't . . . ," said April. "April, there's no other way," said Raphael. "But you guys don't stand a chance," said April. "They totally injured my Pokémon. There's no telling what they'll do to you guys," said Iris. "Tokka will literally crush you flat," said Casey. "My Legendary can wipe the floor with them in an instant," said Ash. "But Shredder said that if you and your friends are coming, he says no Legendaries or he'll have his Foot attack the park instead," said April. Ash and co. growled in frustration. "Wait. Wait just a minute," said Mortu. "There might be a way," said Dr. Perry.
Very soon, Donatello, Dr. Perry and Mortu began to work with some chemicals to create something that could help in their battle against Tokka and Rahzar. "Temperature?" asked Dr. Perry. "338 kelvin," said Donatello. "Michelangelo, pass me the dimethyl chlorinite, please," said Mortu. "Heh?" asked Michelangelo. He was in the middle of eating a pizza slice. "That," said Dr. Perry, pointing to a pink bottle. "Oh," said Michelangelo, grabbing the bottle. "You know, not to criticize science or anything . . . but wouldn't it be easier just to call it the pink one?" asked Michelangelo. "Oh, Mikey," groaned Donatello, doing a face palm. Dr. Perry began to pour the dimethyl chlorinite along with a blue chemical into a bubbling pot. "Donatello, continue aeration," said Dr. Perry. "Continuing aeration. Okay," said Donatello.
As Donatello was mixing the two chemicals with a hand crank beater, Raphael took a sniff at the mixture. "Oh, man, this stuff is rank," said Raphael. "Yeah, try carrying it on the subway sometime. I never got a seat so fast in my life," said Ash. Leonardo sniffed the mixture next. "Blech. Thanks for doing all the shopping for us, Ash," said Leonardo. "No problem. I hope you guys didn't mind me picking up a few pies," said Ash as he was eating a slice of pizza. "You're forgiven," said Michelangelo. He sniffed the chemical mixture next. "Whoa," said Michelangelo. He was so disgusted that he dropped his pizza slice into the chemical mixture. Michelangelo gasped. Donatello hummed innocently as he used beater to grind up the pizza that fell into the mixture.
Sonia and Yamper were watching everybody make the strange mixture. They turned to Splinter. "Donatello sure is a science whiz for a Pokémon," said Sonia. "Yes. The mutagen that mutated my sons and I have gave us human level intelligence," said Splinter. "Well, hopefully I can find out how the Foot are able to make artificial power spots that allow Tokka to Gigantamax," said Sonic. "I'm sure you will," said Splinter.
"Are you sure this stuff will work?" asked Hilda. "When we contaminated the ooze used to transform Tokka and Rahzar, making them intellectually inferior and less dangerous, we had no idea I'd be trying to formulate an anti-mutagen based on that contamination," said Mortu. "Oh," said Leonardo. "Anti-mutagen. What?" asked Michelangelo dumbly. "He's not sure," said Leonardo. "Oh," said Michelangelo. "You know. We may need the anti mutagen in the future if there are any mutants who want to be cured," said Ash. "Good point, Ash," said Cilan. "Pepperoni heaven. Mmm," said Dr. Perry as he ate a pizza slice. "Gentlemen and ladies, may I have your attention?" asked Dr. Perry as he was about to add the final ingredient to the mixture. "Right this way," said Donatello. "Leonardo, hand me a glass, please?" asked Dr. Perry. "Oh, yeah. Sure," said Leonardo, handing Dr. Perry a glass. "Voila," said Dr. Perry as he added the final mixture. "Are you sure this stuff will do the trick?" asked Michelangelo as Dr. Perry poured the anti mutagen into the glass. "Well, we won't know until we spray those guys," said Latias. "Yeah," said Ash. "Well, actually . . . ," said Dr. Perry. "Actually, what?" asked Leonardo. "Actually . . . ingestion is the only course," said Mortu.
"What?" asked everybody. "You mean, they have to eat it?" asked Michelangelo. "Affirmative. Yes. Yo, right on, my man," said Dr. Perry. "Oh, great. That should be easy," said Leonardo sarcastically. "Well, any ideas?" asked Raphael. "Well, we could solidify it in ice cube trays," said Donatello. "Yes. But how are going to hide the ice cube trays under their noses?" asked Hilda. "Yeah. They'll know there's something fishy about the ice cubes," said Solana. "Well, I've got an idea," said Michelangelo. Everybody turned to Michelangelo.
Anyway, here's the latest chapter. Just to let you readers know, I'm going on vacation so I won't be able to post the next chapter until I get back. Thank you for all your patience and understanding. And keep safe and healthy.
