Bert and Nathaniel were the smallest students in Cobra Kai. That was something they could bond over. Nathaniel found a couple of things hard to get though. He would often go to Bert for advice.
"Doesn't some of Sensei Lawrence and Kreese's teachings seem a little odd? Like how they see life?" Asked Nathaniel.
Bert had to think about that. Yes Sensei Kreese did seem a bit different to Sensei Lawrence. But Sensei Lawrence had always done what was right for them.
So if Sensei Lawrence thought it was the right thing to do by bringing Sensei Kreese in, then it was the right thing to do.
Bert realised he still hadn't answered Nathaniel's question.
"Sensei Lawrence never stirred us wrong. I don't see much reason to question him. Especially after all the publicity we got at valleyfest the other night"
