When Desmond saw the door fly open he instinctively turned and shielded Penelopes body with his, Penelope had screamed when she watched Malcolm and Dereks bodies hit the floor. Reid quickly checked Malcolm and then shook his head and said, "he's gone" after he checked for a pulse and JJ said, "Derek, Derek are you alright"?, Derek hissed and said, "yeah, yeah I'm alright, I'm good".
Dave and Hotch helped him up and Dave said, "you've been hit", Derek said, "I'm alright, just let me see baby girl", they released him and he walked over to Penelope and said, "I've missed you so much" as he leaned over and pulled her into his arms. Desmond smiled and said, "how did you all know we had trouble in here"?, Amber walked into the room and JJ said, "this one right here, she was walking up the hall and heard raised voices and heard Malcolm saying he needed to eliminate the problem".
Desmond listened and when JJ was through he said, "you did excellent work Amber, excellent", she blushed and said, "I just did what I had to do to protect our patient and everybody involved". He then turned to face Derek and said, "agent Morgan I need to get that cleaned up and dressed for you, so please come with me".
Derek shook his head and said, "I'm not going anywhere, I'm not leaving her", Penelope touched his cheek and said, "go and let Desmond check you out, I promise I'll be right here waiting for you". Derek kissed her lips gently and said, "I love you baby girl", she winked at him and said, "I love you to, so much, now go and get that checked out", he grinned and followed Desmond and Amber out of the room.
Emily noticed Kevin trying to sneak out and she grabbed him and said, "where do you think you're going you little weasel"?, Kevin said, "I I I" and Penelope said, "he was being blackmailed Em, Malcolm had proof that he raped a woman and Kevin was able to cover it up but somehow Ford discovered it and blackmailed him with the information".
Dave pulled out his cuffs and said, "it gives me great pleasure to do this" as he slapped the cuffs on Kevins wrists and started reading him his rights, all Penelope and the others could do was smile and watch as Kevin was led away by the security officers. JJ then ran over to Penelope and said, "are you alright Garcie, we've been so worried about you"?, she said, "I'm fine, I'm fine", her hand slid down to her stomach and she thought to herself, "we're fine".
She looked up to see Shane standing in the door, she said, "come here you" and he walked over to her and sat down on the side of the bed and looked at her. She smiled and took his hands in hers and said, "thank you", he said, "you're welcome, now are you sure that you're both alright"?, she looked at him and said, "h h how did you"?, Shane smiled said, "how do you think we found you, we had no idea where you were until you were admitted to the hospital today, I read the doctors notes and found out the reason you were admitted".
Penelope swallowed hard and said, "sooooo Derek, does he"?, Shane said, "he knows and Penelope, he couldn't be happier and you you're practically glowing", she sighed and said, "I was so afraid Shane, I had no choice, I had to go or he was going to kill Derek". Shane hugged her and said, "I know, I know but the important thing is that now that it's over you can get your life back, you can finally marry the man of your dreams and the three of you along with the rest of your amazing little family can be one big happy family".
She grinned and nodded her head and said, "and I want you to know that you are a member of my family too", he smiled at her and said, "thank you Penelope, you have no idea how much that means to me". She gently squeezed his hands and said, "ohhh but I do Shane, I most certainly do" as they sat there smiling at each other.
Penelopes attention then turned to the door as Emma and several other people walked into the room, Penelope smiled and said, "guys I'd like for you to meet my good friend Emma". Emma grinned and said, "nice to meet you all", Penelope said, "this is Emmas husband Harry, right"?, Emma said, "right". Harry who reminded her so much of Hotch reached out and shook hands with her and said ,"it's nice to meet you Penelope".
Penelope said, "this is another friend of mine, guys, this is Jessica and her husband Sean" and the two nodded their heads and smiled at the BAU family and Penelope grinned. She then said, "and this wonderful woman here is Millie, she took such good care of me, she is amazing and she owns her own business, it's a hotel and it is beautiful", Millie grinned and said, "it's nice to meet you folks, welcome to Whisper" and they all grinned at her.
Millie said, "Penelope honey this is my husband Darrell", Penelope grinned and said, "it's nice to meet you Darrell" and as Darrell shook her hand she couldn't help but notice the similarities that he had to Dave, it was like she had one big huge family and she loved them all with all of her heart. Penelope said, "and last but not least this is Tabby, I'm renting her house", Tabby smiled and said, "Penelope is just one of a kind isn't she"? and Reid said, "truer words have never been spoken" causing them all to laugh.
