Part 16 Up Revelation Mountain?

This chapter will be in Jordon's point of view.

The next afternoon, I woke up and said to myself in my head, 'Ugh... so sleepy... I hardly got a wink of sleep after getting lectured until the sun came up... not that I can really complain. It's true we snuck out without permission... of course they were going to be mad... I wonder how Lucia is holding up... probably hearing it from Carracosta right now...'
And when I left my room, Nuzleaf told me, "Oh! Morning, child. Up and moving already? You sure got an earful last night, huh? But I'm sure Carracosta is just looking out for you kids... he was probably just worried sick by that stunt you pulled. I hope you can understand that."
"Of course I understand that." I told him.
"Yeah? Well, that's great! By the by, I haven't asked recently, but any more memories coming back to you? You remember anything?" Nuzleaf asked me.
"Actually, I do remember one thing. The being that brought me to this world said that my parents, my birth parents were here and turned into Pokémon also. I just can't remember their names." I told Nuzleaf.
"Really?! Well, no need to push yourself or anything. Reckon you've got pretty used to this world. Maybe it's time you saw some more. Sure, Carracosta goes on like that, but... personally, I'm of the school that thinks kids learn best by doing, you know? Course going out on adventures has some risk, too, but you learn whole heaps. So, I say you just go on and have your little adventures around the village. Though you should probably look out for them Beheeyem. It's summer vacation, ain't it! Might as well enjoy your freedom!" Nuzleaf said to me.
"I'll be leaving now. Bye Mr. Nuzleaf!" I told him.

And when I got outside, I heard, "Lucia! What do you think this is?! This isn't clean at all!" coming from Carracosta.
"All right! Done at last!" I heard Lucia say.
"What part of this is done?! Look! Right here! And here! You've left more of it uncleaned than you have cleaned!" said Carracosta.
"I cleaned it! So I'm done!" said Lucia.
"Oh no you're not! Unacceptable! Get back here and do it right!" said Carracosta.
"What?!" asked Lucia.
'I guess Carracosta is using cleaning as a punishment...' I said to myself.
I then realized that we can't train today. 'Well I was planning on relaxing today anyway.' I said to myself.
I then realized I can hang out with my other schoolmates.

Later, "What?! You guys got found out?!" Shelmet asked me.
"And you got lectured by Carracosta?!" Deerling asked me.
"Yes, I did." I told them.
"Wow... I'd be scared to get one of his lectures..." Goomy told me.
"But I also felt bad about keeping it all from my parents..." Deerling told me.
"So perhaps being found out is for the best." Espurr told me.
"After we parted ways with you guys last night... we actually had a little talk, before we went back to our own houses. We were thinking about coming clean to our parents, rather than sneaking back in." Deerling told me.
"So I told my parents about the whole thing after I got home..." Goomy told me.
"It seems that the grownups all react in their own different ways." Espurr told me.
"I totally got chewed out by my mom... my head still hurts from all her yelling..." Pancham told me.
"I really heard it from my parents, too..." Shelmet told me.
"So everyone got in trouble, huh? Me, too... but then my mom was crying..." Goomy told me.
"Yeah, we really made them worry... you know that they just really care about us and don't want anything to happen to us." Deerling told me.
"Getting yelled at a bit might be a good thing. I don't have any parents around to do even that much." Espurr told me.
"We were all just talking about how glad we were to come clean, before you got here." Deerling told me.
"Really?" I asked them.
"And we were wondering how you and Lucia handled the situation." Espurr told me.
"I feel better knowing that you had to sit through a massive lecture, too!" Pancham told me.
"Yeah, but Lucia and Jordon didn't come clean-they got caught!" Shelmet told me.
"So what now?" Pancham asked me.
"I'm actually just planning on relaxing today.
"Oh okay." Pancham said to me.
And relax I did!

So you just relaxed that day? asked Lucia.

Yes, yes I did. said Jordon.

Later when I went back to Nuzleaf's house, "Okay, Pops! How about this time?!" I heard Lucia ask Carracosta.
"Shoddy work here... and very sloppy here... but I guess it'll do for now. You're done!" I heard Carracosta say to Lucia.
"All right! I'm finally done cleaning! I'm outta here!" said Lucia.
"Hey! Where do you think you're going?!" asked Carracosta.
I then saw Lucia run outside. "Ah! Jordon! I finally finished all that cleaning! Sorry about flaking on you today. But I should be able to go back to training again tomorrow, don't worry!" Lucia told me.
And then Nuzleaf came out and asked me, "Oh! Jordon! Back already?"
"Hey, Mr. Nuzleaf!" Lucia said to him.
"Ah, and I see you're with your girlfriend. Seems like you were in it pretty deep with old Carracosta." Nuzleaf said to us.
"Yeah. But I get why he was so mad this time, so I guess I can't argue with it. Besides, he's always mad about something! It doesn't even really faze me anymore!" Lucia told him.
"Is that so? Well, I suppose that's as fine a way as any to look at it. I like seeing young kids being adventurous and getting out there personally." Nuzleaf told us.
"Really? You're totally the opposite of my old pops, then! Do you think maybe my old pops is wrong?" Lucia asked him.
"I wouldn't say he's wrong, no. He just cares about you, and so he worries. That's all. I'm just not the type to worry much about things. The world has all types of folks. Maybe it's just because I like going on adventures myself." Nuzleaf told her.
"Yeah, huh? So where around the village do you want to explore next, Mr. Nuzleaf?" Lucia asked him.
"Around the village? Well, if I had to say... then I reckon I'd sure like to see what lies up Revelation Mountain." Nuzleaf told her.
"Revelation Mountain... you mean THAT Revelation Mountain?!" Lucia asked him.
'It sounds like Revelation Mountain is a huge deal in Serene Village.' I thought to myself.
"B-but Revelation Mountain is, like, a sacred mountain or something... I thought you aren't supposed to go there?!" Lucia asked him.
"Well, I reckon so... but doesn't all that mystery get your motor running? Maybe it's because I'm new to these parts... and I don't know exactly why that mountain's off limits... but I feel like I oughta be able to at least go have a little look-see." Nuzleaf told us.
"Yeah, I know what you mean... but if I went, I'd probably get the lecture to end all lectures..." Lucia told him.
"Ha ha ha ha! No one said you had to go! All I'm trying to say is that you shouldn't lose that sense of curiosity and adventure. And if you really want to keep it alive, sometimes you've gotta be a bit reckless. I reckon it's fine to go a little too far sometimes, as long as it's just a little. Anyway, you kids get back out there and give it your all again tomorrow." Nuzleaf told us.
And then, me and Lucia decided to play until the sun set. And the next day, Lucia asked Carracosta about Revelation Mountain but he didn't know much. And we also found out that Pokémon were being turned into stone. But on the bright side, I got to have Carracosta's cooking for dinner.

The next day, me and Lucia went to go train but when we got to the plaza, "Hold up there, you two young'uns." we heard Nuzleaf say to us.
"Huh? Mr. Nuzleaf?" Lucia asked him.
"Come on over thisaway." he told us.
"What is it Mr. Nuzleaf?!" I asked him.
"Shhh! Keep your voices down! I've just got a little something to run by you two. Come on. This way." he told us as he then walked in the other direction.
He then told us what he was going to do. "What?! Up Revelation Mountain?" Lucia asked him.
"How many ways can I tell you to keep it quiet, child?! I'm going in secret, naturally, so I'll thank you to keep your voice down!" he told us.
"B-but my old pops told me just yesterday that we absolutely can't go there." Lucia told him.
"Yeah, I know that line of thinking. But then, I also thought..." Nuzleaf told us.
"What?" I asked him.
"About you here. Because you used to be a human. And lost almost all of your memories of that life. I ain't got no proof, but I feel like there's something big behind all this... we were just waiting around, twiddling our thumbs and seeing if anything changed... but we still haven't learned a thing. And Jordon's still got almost no memories. So I was thinking it was high time I started to do some investigating of my own." he told us.
"And that's why you want to go to Revelation Mountain?" Lucia asked him.
"Yeah. Maybe we may find at least a clue why he was turned human." Nuzleaf told us.
"Okay, I'm down." I told him.
We then left for Revelation Mountain.

When we got there, we saw that Hippopotas was guarding the gate. However, Nuzleaf easily tricked him. However, when we got about halfway up the mountain, we saw a whole group's of guards. We then decided to go back to Serene Village. "Hmmm. I sure do hate to admit it, though... we might've found something out if we coulda just seen what lies ahead... I'm sorry, Jordon. We might've even found out why you came to this world, Jordon... or at least some hint at a reason why..." Nuzleaf told us.
"But we've got no choice. Not with that many eyes watching the place. It's like my old pops said. This is a sacred place for the village. I don't think it would've sat right with me to barge in, so maybe this is for the best." Lucia told him.
"I reckon so... well, then... I reckon I might go talk with Hippopotas. I'll have to apologize and tell him that the tale about the mix-up was all mixed up. So I guess I'll be heading back first. See ya." he told us as he then left.
"I guess we should head home, too, then?" Lucia asked me.
"Yes, we should." I told her.
