A/N: I just want to thank everyone who reviewed or enjoyed my writing over the years. Seriously couldn't keep this up without all of your support.
Time Travel is confusing, Kurama thought, it leaves some people completely ignorant to what lies ahead, and others - like him- knowing what lies ahead and not being able to do anything about it.
Jumping onto the Goshinboku, the sacred tree instinctively proving him with cover, Kurama smiles as Kagome's window is front and center for his viewing. Having all of these memories of her, but not having her in this time is- frustrating. With a shake of his head, Kurama clears his mind. What matters is that she is safe.
His piercing green eyes narrow as Inuyasha wanders into her room, he bites down on his tongue, stifling the growl that so desperately wants to be let out.
She didn't even know him yet, but that didn't stop the possessiveness that threatened to spring forth, drag her away from the half demon, and keep her hidden away from all and any danger. Digging his nails deep into his palms, his anger flows out of him alongside the blood that is slowly trickling from his palms and down his pants.
She doesn't know yet, he tells himself. Maybe he's a masochist, a glutton for pain because he knows that Kagome and InuYasha were a thing before him, he knows this - but - ugh! She was not for someone like InuYasha or any other male that wasn't him to touch.
Exhaling as he closes his eyes, Kurama turns away from the sight of them.
Kurama decides to accept Yomi's offer, killing some low-level demons should help to placate him for a year or two.
