Okay before I start, there something I what to bring up that Artorias told me in the reviews. Now he brought up some good points about Danny but that was just in the Danny Phantom Series. This story is a crossover of Castlevania, have we even seen Danny fight other supernatural beings that were not ghosts? All Danny ever fought were ghosts, he dealing with more than that now. Some of the things that Artorias mention in his review might not have the same protection against other creatures.
If it seems that I'm jumping in between the characters a little fast, then I'm sorry. I just want to make sure they each get enough storytime in the chapter I'm writing. This is the biggest cast I ever have written.
And darkkrt, thank you for reminding me about the Toy Maker! I did want him to be in the story! going to think where he should show up.
Okay, this is going to the boss chapter and after that Witcha Vs Shaft.
Danny was still blushing after finally telling the girls what he has seen. They were angry but not at him.
"I hope your boss treats her like the bitch she is," Vampirella said to Damn.
"The hellfire that I put in the Succubus is the sign of someone breaking the rule of taking Danny's soul. The Succubus will never leave hell." Damn said.
"I can't believe that I almost had sex with a succubus," Danny said.
Damn turn to him and knew he would get the wrong idea if he ever meets Lust. She was a succubus too.
"Danny, don't let that encounter ruin what you think about a succubus. Lust will never do that to you." He said.
"She won't?" Danny asked.
"No, Lust would want to know you and maybe take you on a date. After that, then she tries having sex with you." Damn said, knowing his partner well.
Danny looks away trying not to blush again. Witcha then steps up and places a hand on his shoulder.
"Listen, Danny, we are the same. We all want to know you then me and the girls would ask you out on a date." She said.
"Yeah, and the sex thing will wait until much later," Slimy said.
"Much, much, later," Vampirella added.
"Damn, you mention that your boss is D.M. Demon. Who is that?" Leo said.
"His full name is Damn Monster Demon. And he's also my father." Damn said.
"WHAT?!" The group shouted.
"He treats me like a son but doesn't play favorites. If I fail my job, he scowls and treats me like one of his soldiers. If I bring a soul back to hell, then he treats me like a demon that did his job." Damn said.
"That's just like how Aunt Georgia is with me," Witcha said.
"Really?" Danny asked.
"Yeah, I mention that I go to Witches School. My aunt is the principal there. She doesn't like it when other Dark Witches treat me differently but she also doesn't play favorites. If I fail at school, then I'm just another student. If I break the rules, then I get punished." Witcha said.
"Say, that reminds me, how did you and Vampirella meet? You never got the chance to tell me before." Danny said.
"You know I was wondering the same thing," Slimy said.
Vampirella and Witcha look at each other and smile. They could never forget how they first meet.
"Well, it all started just after school was let out for me and some of my classmates were picking on me," Witcha said.
Two years ago...
Witcha was pushed to the ground as some of the other Witches laugh at her.
"You really think that you are a great dark witch?" One laughs.
"Yeah right! She no witch!" Another laugh.
"I am a Witch!" Witcha yells.
The other witches just look at her and laugh again. Witcha was about to start crying before another voice spoke up.
"Hey! Leave her alone you jerks!"
Everyone turns and saw another girl step up but she wasn't a witch.
"And who are you?" One Witch asked.
"Someone that hates bullies." The girl said.
"You haven't heard of us, we are Dark Witches. And we will show the world how powerful we are." Another Witch said.
"I heard of Dark Witches, but you don't look like one." The Girl smirk and show her fangs.
"She's a vampire!" A Witch shouted in shock.
"What?! But they can't walk out in the sunlight!" Another shouted.
"I'm a Daywalker." The Vampire said before rushing up to the group.
She passes all of them and turn around and held out their wands. Each witch was surprised and felt were they place their wands and saw they weren't there.
"I'll say it again, leave this girl alone. You all lucky that I had my blood earlier." The Vampire smirks and threw their wands at their feet.
Each witch picks up their wand and ran from the vampire. The girl sighs and turns to Witcha and knees down to her.
"Are you alright?" She asked.
"Yeah, thank you," Witcha said.
"You're most welcome. I hate bullies." The girl smiles and held out her hand.
Witcha grabs it and stood up.
"I'm Witcha, a Dark Witch in training," Witcha said.
"I'm Vampirella, a Daywalker Vampire." The girl said.
Now...
"And we became friends since that day," Witcha said smiling at Vampirella.
"I see Witcha as the Dark Witch she is unlike the rest of her school," Vampirella said.
"Where you really going to drink their blood?" Danny asked her.
"No, I was trying to scare them. It work." Vampirella smiles.
"So this was two years ago?" Leo asked and they nodded.
"That means that Witcha was 12 when she and Vampirella met. If there one thing I know about Vampires, they age slower then humans." Leo said.
"That means Vampirella is way older than 14," Damn said.
"It rude to ask a girl her age you know," Vampirella said.
She sighs and then turns to Danny.
"Their right, though. I'm actually just over 200 years old." She said.
"200?!" Danny shouted in shock.
"That means I older. I'm 238 years old." Leo spoke up.
"Actually, I'm the oldest. I over 6 centuries old." Damn spoke up.
Danny's eyes widen so big it felt like his eyes could pop out of their sockets. He had no idea that some of his friends were much older then they appear.
"Since I'm a newborn Slime, that makes me the youngest," Slimy said.
"That's means, me and Danny are the same age. Since witches are close to humans, we age the same." Witcha said.
"In human terms," Danny said.
"I have only been a ghost for a year. So in ghost terms, I'm almost a year old." Danny told them.
"I'm still younger. I have been around for six months now." Slimy said.
Danny blink and shook his head.
"How about we just stick to being 14 and never talk about this again?" He said.
The others agree and started to move on their talk about their ages push to the back of their minds.
Carmilla growl as the group took down another one of their generals.
"Well, they are proving to be more troublesome then we thought." The gruff voice said.
"Shut up Cornell!" Carmilla yelled.
"Carmilla, it appears that six would do anything to protect one another. We need to find a way to keep them from doing so." Shaft said.
"What we need to do is kill that subspecies!" She yelled pointed at Danny.
"Just forcing on the boy is not going to break the team apart. They all know what he is and they don't care." Shaft pointed out.
Carmilla growls and stood up.
"Then I'll deal with them!" She shouted and started to walk out.
"Allow me." Shaft said and disappear.
Carmilla growls and sat back down. She looks up at Death and Cornell and sighs.
"So here we are again. The "lords of shadows". Carmilla said.
"We stop using that title a long time ago." Death said.
"We were the top three powerful monsters and now we are, reduced to nothing more than slaves to a vampire that still grieves over his dead pet." She said.
"Wife, Carmilla. You can't replace her." Death spoke up.
Carmilla growls and looks at the group and turns her eyes on Vampirella.
"I work hard on to be by his side. I won't let someone like her ruin that." She said to herself.
The group climb up the stairs and found themselves out on the roof of the castle.
"Okay, what are the odds of the stairs leading us to a roof?" Danny asked.
"One in a million," Leo said.
"That was a rhetorical question," Danny said.
Leo shrug and the group steps out. Damn open his wings and flew into the sky. Witcha call her broom and also took to the skies. Danny then flew into the sky as well and the three flew around for a bit.
"Ahh, much better! Lots of space here to give the old wings a nice stretch." Damns said.
"It feels great to ride my broom again," Witcha added.
"I agree, being able to fly freely again feels great," Danny said.
The three flyers flew a bit more before heading down to the others.
"Vampirella, were you going to join us?" Danny asked her.
"I have to turn into a bat to fly. It's not the same." She told him.
Danny shrugs and the group walks on. Danny, Witcha, and Damn all flew but stick close to the rest. Leo then stops and smells the air. He carefully bends down and started to smell the roof a bit.
"What's wrong?" Danny asked him.
"I smell a human. But something tells me it not on our side." He said as Shaft appears in front of the group.
"Welcome Children." He said as each of them stood ready.
"Who are you?" Slimy asked him.
"My name is Shaft, I work for Lord Dracula. What bring you all here to his castle." Shaft said then asked them.
"We are here because we each sense Dracula's power. We want to know why." Danny said.
Shaft looks at the six and knew that none of them were here to serve his master. But they mention how the six could sense his master power was a little odd. Still, there was something about the six that could be a great help if he can get them to join his master.
"Then why don't I take you to my master, I'm sure he wants to know why you six are here as well." Shaft said.
"Guys, don't listen. He up to something." Leo said, his sense telling him to not trust him.
"I'm not up to anything. I promise no harm will come to you." Shaft said.
"I'm not buying it! I'm a werewolf and I can smell that you are up to something!" Leo said.
"Hmph, very well but I will take you to my master." Shaft said and held out his hands and started to chant.
Witcha's eyes widen when she figures out what he was doing.
"He doing a summoning spell!" She shouted.
Soon an armor undead knight holding a head appear in front of the group and started to swing its sword a few times as the head scream.
"Dullahan, deal with these six and bring them back to your master." Shaft said and disappear.
"Looks like we have to deal with this," Danny said.
The Dullahan's head screams again and charge at the six. The group jumps back as the sword was swing at them. Danny forms an ice sword and quickly block the Dullahan's sword. Danny tries to keep up with the strikes but the Dullahan broke through and cut his mid-section. Danny looks down and saw his two halves form back together. He quickly blocks another strike with his ice sword and was started to have a hard time holding back.
Lucky for him, Leo rushes up and knocks the Dullahan away. Leo duck under the sword and ready his claws. He strikes the Dullahan on the chest, making sparks fly. Leo then jumps back as it swings its sword again. Leo jumps over the next sword swing and behind the Dullahan and kicks it's back knocking it to the floor.
The Dullahan was then lifted up by Witcha magic and throw on the roof a few times. She kept it up for a bit before tossing it over to Vampirella. Vampirella brought her leg down on it and made it crash into the roof. It didn't cave in, but the Dullahan did try to stab her with its sword. Vampirella moves to the side and kicks the head out of its arms.
The head flew until Damn caught it and the head scream at him.
"Oh, shut up," Damn said.
He turns and threw the head back the body that knocks it to the ground. The Dullahan stood up but was grab by Slimy. Slimy then lifted it into the air before turning around and brought back down on the roof "heads" first. She let go and pull her arms back as the rest stood/floated together. The Dullahan got back up but was stab through the chest by Danny's ice sword.
Danny looks at the head and sighs. He pulls the sword out and the Dullahan fell to the ground before breaking apart and being sent back to which it came. He steps up and made his ice sword disappear. Witcha notices the look on his face and flew down to check on him.
"Are you alright?" She asked.
"I'm started to accept that I can be the monster I want to be, but..." Danny tries to say.
"A hero doesn't kill," Leo said, getting what he was saying.
"Danny, none of these creatures we are fighting can be reason with. We all know who Dracula is and almost all of these monsters are working for him." Damn said.
"I know, but I just wish things could be different," Danny said.
"We know," Witcha said and hug him.
Danny sighs and returns the hug.
High above them, Shaft watches as the group fought and defeated his minion. He looks down at Witcha and smirks.
"They are powerful. That witch magic is far powerful than I ever have seen. She'll a great student once I get them to join my master." He said.
Well, that end this chapter. I look Shaft up a bit to see what his character is like and I think I got it. Also, Carmilla mentions that she, Cornell, and Death were the Lords of Shadows is actually a throwback to the rebooted Castlevania games. Where you play as a Belmont that becomes Dracula. However, this follows the main timeline games. What place in the timeline, not sure on that yet. And as you can all see the group is getting better at fighting monsters. Next it Witcha Vs. Shaft and her Monster Form is unlocked. Dragonrule came close to guessing what her form would look like and I might mix up his and my idea.
