Present day 24 hours before chapter 20Liv was standing in front of a full body mirror running her hands down the 5th dress of the day. This dress felt different, it felt right like it was made for her. She smiled turning to the seamstress. "Will it be ready in time?" She asked skeptically
She nodded "yes" flashing a smile
"Thank you"
Liv changed, and went down to the oval. The girl's were playing behind fitz. Fitz was doing some light work. Liv walked in. "I found it" she said excitedly
Fitz got up walking to her "you got it?" He smiled
"She said it'll be ready in time, now we can definitely get married" she teased hugging him.
"I would marry you in a bath robe" he joked "I'm glad you found your dress"
"Maddy, Audrey come here"liv called out. maddy and Audrey got up trotting over to liv. " I see daddy didn't brush your hair like I told him too" Liv cut her eyes at Fitz.
"I tried, but whenever I touch their hair they cry. Then I feel like I'm doing something wrong" he admitted
"Hi, mommy" Audrey held out her arms. Liv picked her up sitting her on her lap. "Look, mommy" maddy smiled brandishing her baby doll. "Fitz all you have to do is wet it so it's not tangled and use conditioner, they'll be fine"
Liv smiled reaching for maddy. "Oh your a big girl" she tease putting her on the couch. "Is daddy working too much?" Liv joked smiling at Fitz.
"Nooo" they said in unison.
"good girls" Fitz high-fived them. "So teddy is coming later tonight and Karen will be here on the day of"
"Fitz what happened to the day before?"
"I know but she wanted to stay with her mother a little longer" fitz exhaled
"okay that's fine, did you get teddy's tux?"
"The valet is picking it up tomorrow" Fitz assured
"did you talk to cyrus?" Liv asked
"He said yes. And huck?"
"He also said yes, and so did Quinn. But my father said he has business out of town" Liv rolled her eyes
"I'm sorry"
"No he- I just know where I stand, it's a lesson learned" liv said sadly
"I'll never leave you or them" he gripped her hand.
"I know" she smiled
Rowan wasn't really going out of town, but he didn't want to tell her the truth. He hated what she was doing, who she was marrying. Rowan knew he didn't approve so he didn't want to go and pretend, telling liv that; would make her hate him. Being that person who constantly tried to take away her happiness, maya was sure to remind him of that. Jake was finally done with those laborious task Rowan saddled him with. He was sure to stay away from maya just incase Rowan knew what was happening.

"Look who's here" fitz said putting teddy down
"Hi, teddy bear" Liv stretched for him
Teddy smiled holding his arms out "hi, Liv"
"Did you have fun in California?" Fitz was changing maddy. Audy was playing with her bear
Teddy nodded "can i play" teddy pushed himself off of Liv's lap.
Fitz closed maddy's onesie and put her on the floor near teddy. "There you go, teddy be gentle and girls no chewing on anything" Fitz joked

Jake had started seeing maya again but she was even more unhelpful than before. she felt like Rowan put jake up to earning her trust just so he break her down. She wasn't going for it and Jake had been holding out not giving her anything she could benefit from. Jake had been seeing maya without mark and Jon, they thought Rowan was fine with it but he just didn't know it was happening.
"You again" maya scoffed
"I know I said I would be back, but I'm here now"
"Well since I still don't have a calendar or a watch how long has it been?" Maya questioned
"Almost a week in a half" Jake answered
"Mhm" maya chuckled "so why are you here?"
"We were making progress maya I still wanna help you if you'll help me" Jake offered
"You haven't helped me, you brought me pudding and now you think your helping, mhmm" she snorted
"Ok, what do you want. Because I'm running out of time, I need to get away from Rowan."
"Oh baby, that ship has sailed I know that I'm not getting out of here so just get out" maya snarled
"Anything you name it and I'll get it" Jake pleaded
"Don't play with me boy" maya yelled
"I'm not playing, I don't want anything to do with Rowan or b613 I'm done I want out. You said you have something on him something that won't blowback on the president. If I help you get out of here you'll give it to me" Jake said trying to convince her.
Maya felt like this was too easy "you mean it" she asked
"Yes" he replied
"Anything?"
"Yes"
"I want to see my daughter, I want her to know I'm alive" maya demanded
Why did he offer anything? How the hell was he supposed to get liv in here without anyone noticing. That wasn't even the biggest problem.how he supposed to get liv to agree to come here. her mother isn't exactly her favorite person dead or alive. "Okay" he agreed
"And i wanna be able to see her face to face so you have to pull me out of here" maya added
"And you're gonna keep your promise?"
"I wanna see my livvie so yes I'll keep my promise"
Jake closed the hatch, he left the building. He kept trying to call liv but her phone kept going to voicemail. Jake started to panic but it was late so he'd try again tomorrow.

Christa the Wedding planner assured Liv that everything was going to be perfect, christa was worried that Liv wouldn't get her dress on time but Liv found it just in time. The wedding was finally here, fitz was excited. Liv was happy but she didn't want any problems, the wedding was the icing on the cake. the American people were accepting her and fitz and this was the final test. Olivia started with the girls. She gave them bathes.
"Mommy" audy whispered as Maddy splashed around getting liv wet
"Hey hey no splashing" liv told maddy, "yes baby." Liv said as she smoothed shampoo into their hair.
"I don't want my hair brushed" audy frowned. Maddy didn't like her hair to brushed either but she didn't talk much.
"It has to be clean, ok" liv said softly "okay" audy replied frowning at Liv
Liv finished bathing them. she dressed them in poofy baby pink and lavender dresses, Liv lifted maddy and audy off the bed. "Maddy, take this to daddy" liv handed her the brush. Maddy and audy took off running into the bathroom, fitz was brushing his teeth.
"Daddy daddy" here come maddy and audy running holding the brush.
"Hi, girls" fitz smiled and then he saw the brush, fitz rinsed his mouth. Fitz scooped them up one by one, he sat them on the sofa. Their hair was still wet from the bath. "Daddy's sorry I know it hurts but mommy wants to look pretty" he sat audy in his lap he started to brush but audy wasn't having it she started wiggling and trying to jump down. "I know sweet heart" fitz tried to get her to stay still.
Meanwhile liv was in the closet looking at her dress, she had just gotten out of the shower. Her phone rung she ignored but he kept calling she finally just turned it off completely. Karen made her way up to see Liv before the ceremony.
Karen walked in sneaking up on Liv. "My dad said you were up still up here" Karen smiled
Liv turned " Karen, I'm just glad your here and you look beautiful" liv smiled hugging Karen "How's school"
"It's fine, same stuff. But are you ready for today?" Karen asked
"I'm ready" liv smirked

Fitz was finally done brushing their hair after all the crying and wiggling. Fitz put them in front of the mirror. "Look maddy" fitz pointed to her reflection "you too audy, nice and neat" neither maddy or audy responded they really hated getting their hair brushed. Fitz sighed. Fitz called Hannah up to watch the girls and teddy while he got ready.

Olivia was twirling in her dress smiling. A long form fitting dress with a long train.
"Hi, Liv" Huck smiled
"Oh I'm glad you're here" liv picked up the train of her dress trotting over to Huck.
"Why wouldn't i be here liv?" Huck asked confused
"I'm just- I don't want anything to go wrong, that's all" liv admitted
"Liv It's going to be okay, this is going to happen today okay" Huck assured her.
"Okay" liv deep a took a deep breathe exhaling. She grabbed the bouquet of pink and white orchids
"Are you ready" Huck held his arm up.
"Oh wait is quinn here?"
"She's waiting for us they all are, Liv everything is under control" Huck smiled easing her nerves. Huck lead her out of the elevator, the music was on que, it was perfect. Olivia came walking down the aisle, fitz was smiling on the other end he couldn't wait to finally have her in his arms as his wife, someone to spend the rest of his life with. As Olivia stepped up on the altar Audrey and Madison erupted in laughs and giggles. Olivia smiled at them gesturing for them to be quiet.
"We are gathered here today to wed this lovely couple" David recited as camera flashes started going off. "Do you guys have your own vows prepared?"
Liv turned grabbing note from Quinn handing her the bouquet"yes"
"Okay" David said
"Fitz i don't know if I'd be here today, with you or the twins. If it weren't for you showing me unconditional love and support every step of the way. I didn't see it before i was too busy running away." Liv paused holding back happy tears. "Your like a song that I never get tired of listening too, I hope that song never fades. I love you Fitzgerald tomas Grant lll and I vow to keep loving you until death do us part" Olivia quickly swiped away a tear folding the paper back up.
All fitz could do was smile, for a second he forgot about his own vows. "Mr. President" David said
"Mhm" Fitz snapped out of his trance
"Your vows"
"Right" fitz chuckled along with the crowd. He took a deep breath "Olivia, from the day we met. I've felt like I was running a marathon and we all know how much I hate running" the crowd laughed "but chasing you has shown me patience and that we have a never ending love. I wouldn't give you or it up for the world. Olivia Carolyn Pope i'll love you forever, even when we're too old to make jam" fitz smirked.
"Can I have the rings please" Ella and teddy ran up each holding a ring. "Thank you" fitz slid Liv's ring on and liv did the same.
"With these rings I pronounce you, husband and wife, you may kiss the bride" the crowd stood erupting into laughter and applause.
Liv and fitz departed down the aisle. Smiling a nodded to guest as maddy and audy ran ahead of them.

Olivia and Fitz were mingling with the guest, mostly senators and other politicians and couple of billionaires. Quinn and Charlie were dancing, huck was eating. Hannah took the girls upstairs to put them down for a nap they'd been up almost all day. Olivia had her phone off almost the entire day. She turned it on and immediately her notifications were going off rapidly. "I have to use the restroom" she lied walking away from fitz. "Ok" he replied
Olivia listened to a couple of messages some were just jake asking that she'd call him back as soon as possible.
"I know it's your wedding day" liv listened to each message getting more and more suspenseful
"Liv It's life or death. this is something you'll want to know" Jake hung up leaving her with that cryptic message
This was the something she was worried about all day she could feel it in her gut. Liv called Jake hoping that whatever was wrong he fixed. "Jake, what is so important?" Liv barked
"Finally, Liv I need your help, I'll come to you, the tunnels in 30 minutes" Jake hung up before she could refuse
"Wait no-... ugh" liv got frustrated. She signaled to Kevin and they went to the tunnels.
Less than 30 minutes later Jake was speed walking through the tunnels. He looked like he had been laboring all day. Of course liv was annoyed, before he even got close to her "why the hell did you pull me from the most important day of my life?" She snapped
Jake took a deep breathe "your mother is still alive, I have her" Jake admitted
"My-...moth-.. no she's dead my father-" Liv stammered incredulously not being able to finish a sentence
"No liv, i have her." Jake assured her
"Where is she?" Olivia asked "WHERE IS SHE!!" She yelled
"Acme limited" Jake said softly "liv she's said she going to give me something on your father that won't blow back on the president or you. But..."
"But what, what did you promise her?" Liv barked
"She wants an hour with you and then I'm rowan free"
"Jake she's a criminal, she needs to be in jail"
"Liv, she's not asking to leave rowans imprisonment. I've been seeing her for the past month now and all she wants to do is talk about you, Liv she just wants to see you and then she'll help us stop Rowan"
"There is no us Jake I made my decision, I'm not worried about my father and neither should you be"
"Liv i have no one and i asked you to be with me I tried to give you a life outside of this place and now you get to just move on with your life. I loved you, I love you all I'm asking is that you help me move on without you" Jake pleaded
Olivia felt horrible because Jake was right almost two years ago Jake found out she was pregnant and he wanted to step up but she stepped back she felt responsible. "Okay" liv agreed. she signaled to Kevin.
"You can't bring him" Jake told her
"I can't leave White House grounds without him, too bad he stays"
"Fine" Jake sighed
Olivia rode with Kevin and jake lead them to acme limited. Jake and Olivia headed down to the basement. When they got to the big cement box. Jake shot liv a look.
"Kevin, I'm not going to take long Can you wait out here"
"Are you sure ma'am?"
"Yes, thank you, Kevin"
Jake unlocked the door, maya was sitting in the corner balled up, Jake pulled her out before he left to get liv. Olivia picked up her dress as she enter the cold damp room. "Mom" liv said softly
Maya raised her head up "livvie, oh baby" maya smiled still sitting in the same spot.
Olivia stood near the door just staring at maya. Jake walked over to maya extending his hand to help her up. What Jake didn't know was that maya had been plotting on him from the moment he gave her that plastic fork. When Jake missed a week of visiting maya started plotting ways to get out of the hole she obviously needed help and who better to trick than Jake. Maya sharped the handle of the fork into a shiv. When Jake reached down for mayas hand, maya rose up quick stabbing him in the side deep enough that he fell to the ground. Olivia was standing there in total shock her senses kicked in quickly liv tried to run for the door. Before she knew it maya was holding jake's gun. "Un uh, baby. Stop" maya yelled
Olivia turned to her mother Jake pulled the shiv out attempting to get up, with a quickness maya shot him back down. Olivia without thinking quickly ran to jakes aid. Kevin on the other side trying to get in but the door locked automatically and without a key he wasn't getting in. "Oh, baby, momma missed you" maya smirked. Jake was breathing uncontrollably. "Why did you shoot him?" Liv yelled trying to apply pressure to his wound
"I had to baby, he was playing me" maya remarked
"He just wanted your help" liv was still pushing down on his wound.
Maya waved the gun around "well even if he wasn't you didn't think I was going to just stay in that hole for the rest of my life, did you livvie?"
Liv was pushing down with one hand and trying to find Jake's pulse with the other. "You didn't have to shoot him" liv cried feeling that his pulse was decreasing. Jake tried to say something but all that came out was globs of bloods "it's going to ok you're going to be fine. Mom he needs help he's gonna die" liv pleaded
"Livvie, I want you to know that I love so much" maya said softly. "But, I need you to get in the hole" she demanded
Liv used her shoulder to wipe away her tears. She was still trying to keep Jake breathing. She sniffled "what?"
"Livvie we're in whatever maze your father built or created whatever. Now I know that because Jake was here that the place is empty if I wait any longer someone will catch me. So I need you get in the hole"
"Your insane mom he'll die" liv pleaded
"Baby he's already dead, and I'm sorry about that I didn't want this to happen." Maya lifted the gun pointing it directly at liv. "Get in"
Olivia got up watching Jake take his last breathe. "Now there's a bucket down there baby, I hope you won't have to use it" maya closed the hatch
Maya was expecting more than one guard on the other side of the door. To her surprise it was just Kevin. Olivia was covered in jakes blood, she sat there about two minutes before hearing three shot ring out. She hoped that Kevin took maya down but she didn't have such luck.
Maya shot Kevin twice she missed the first shot, Maya searched him finding Liv's phone.
