"All right put your pencils down", Aizawa announced, "The last person in each row, bring the answer sheets to me."
Four days have passed since Class-1A vigorously studied for finals. The second, third and fourth days involved a multitude of written exams that were riddled with questions that would make an average person blow a gasket in frustration.
But not Class 1-A
"Thanks so much for all your help!", Ashido ran up to Yaoyorozu as the latter gathered all the papers in her row.
"I didn't leave anything blank at least!", Kaminari interjected.
"Whew! That was tough!", Sakamata stretched out her arms. "Good thing you helped me study Tatsuma!"
"Y-yeah, of course", the leviathan Quirked boy mumbled, looking away from her.
"It appears the practical is tomorrow", Tokoyami noted.
"Yeah hopefully, everyone passes so that we can all go to the camp together, ribbit", Asui added.
"Say Midoriya", Obihiro asked the green haired boy, "What do you think the practical will be like?"
"Beats me", Midoriya shrugged, "The only thing I know is that we might have to use our Quirks in order to pass."
The Next Day, Practical Exam Area - Center Plaza
"Now then...Let's begin the last test.", Aizawa said. "Remember it's possible to fail this final. If you wanna go to camp, then don't make any stupid mistakes."
"Uh, why are all the teachers here?", Jiro asked, noticing the teachers all huddled next to Aizawa.
"I expect many of you have gathered information and believe you have some sort of idea how the final will fare", he dodged the question.
"We're fighting those robots!", Kaminari shouted.
"Fireworks! S'mores! Here we come camp!", Ashido confidently cheered.
"Actually, this year's tests...", a mousy voice said as Aizawa's scarf started moving, before a small animal looking figure erupted from it. "Will be completely different, for various reasons."
"Principal Nezu?!", Jiro, Ojiro and Sero said.
"You're changing things?", Yaoyorozu asked, flabbergasted.
"The tests now have a new focus.", Nezu continued, "There will be Hero work, of course. But also teamwork and actual combat with actual people. That means you students will be working together in pairs and your opponents will be our esteemed U.A. teachers!"
"Excuse me what?", Tatsuma gasped.
"We're fighting the teachers?", Uraraka nervously asked.
"Additionally your partners and your opponents have already been chosen. They were determined at my discretion based on various factors, including fighting style, grades and interpersonal relationships.", Aizawa announced. "First, Yaoyorozu and Todoroki are a team. Against me", he grinned. "Then we have Midoriya paired with Bakugo."
Both boys gasped, staring at each other with mixed emotions.
"And their opponent is..."
All of a sudden All Might came crashing down to the ground in front of the two boys.
"I am here to fight!", he boldly declared.
"We're up against All Might?!", the two boys shouted.
"You're gonna have to work together boys if you want to win.", he chuckled.
"And now let's announce the teams and the teachers they'll be fighting in order.", Nezu said.

"To complete the exam, you'll have 30 minutes", Nezu continued. "In order to win, your objective is to put these handcuffs on your teacher or if one of you escapes from the combat stage"
"So we've either got to capture the teacher or run away. It's basically like combat training", Kaminari assumed.
"Yeah but is it really okay to just jet?", Ashido asked.
"Yup", Nezu gave a thumb up.
"It's gonna be different than the combat training ya'll went earlier. After all, you're up against people way better than you!", Mic taunted.
"Better? Really?", Jiro rolled her eyes. "Wait aren't you just the announcer?"
"HEY, watch your mouth, girl-HAVE SOME RESPECT!"
"This time, your exam will be very similar to a real battle.", Thirteen added.
"That means you need to see us as the bad guys.", Hound Dog finished in a growling voice.
"Assuming you come across your enemy. If you think you can win against them, fight.", Snipe said.
"But in instances where you're outmatched," Aizawa intervened, "It would be a wise choice to flee and find help. Todoroki, Iida, Midoriya, Tatsuma. I'm sure you four understand."
"I won't make that mistake again, I'll pass and become a true hero!", Iida declared.
"A true test of heroism...", Tatsuma said, "He who fights and runs away, gets to fight another day. Or in the case of a hero, strength in numbers."
"So we fight to win...or run to win.", Midoriya concluded.
"That's right! It's a test of your decision-making skills", All Might answered, "But with these rules, you're probably thinking your only choice is to flee. That's why the support course made these super clever accessories for us."
He pulled out a wrist band like object that sheened with metal.
"Behold! Ultra-Compressed weights!", Mic said.
"These babies will add about half our body weight to our physiques. It's not much, but they will eat up our stamina and make our mobility far more difficult. Oh shoot...they're heavier than I thought. We had a contest to come up with these designs, and young Hatsume ended up winning it."
"Wow, good for Hatsume!", Midoriya congratulated.
"You think we need a handicap to win against you?", Bakugo sneered, "Well think again."
The Symbol of Peace simply laughed at the boy's declaration. "This'll be fun."
"Let's begin. The teams will have a practical test in the order you were called. We have a stage prepared for you. Sato. Kirishima. You're up.", Aizawa said.
"Yes sir!", both boys shouted.
"Those waiting their turn to fight can either watch the exams or come up with a plan. Your choice."
"Ojiro", Iida turned to the tailed boy, "I would like to discuss how to use our Quirks efficiently in the test."
"Right"
"Tokoyami," Asui walked up to the bird headed student, "Let's go come up with a plan"
"Agreed"
"We've got to figure out how to destroy Ms. Midnight's costume!", Mineta declared.
"You're a scumbag", Sero groaned.
"What now Tatsuma?" Obihiro turned to the leviathan, "We don't know squat about Lunch Rush's Quirk, let alone how to beat him."
"We could guess what his Quirk is for the time being."
"THAT WON'T HELP!"
"Alright, sheesh..."
"Don't worry Takane", Sakamata patted the moth girl on the back, "I'll distract Hound Dog while you find the exit! Sounds like a plan?"
"But what if you get hurt?"
"Relax, he's just a giant dog, what could go wrong?"
Over the course of the practical battles, students were pitted against teachers to see if they could pass. Unfortunately Sato and Kirishima were overwhelmed by Cementoss' Quirk which overcame the limits of the muscled duo's Quirks while Kaminari and Ashido were outfoxed by Nezu's superior intelligence. Sero was easily subdued by Midnight but Mineta's act of 'courage' allowed him to easily escape, allowing them both to pass.
But now it's Match: 11, Obihiro and Tatsuma vs Lunch Rush, inside a basement-like area complete with a boiler.
"So we don't know what kind of Quirk Lunch Rush has", Ryuusuke noted, "That must mean he has the element of surprise".
"Fortunately", Shigen added, "We could always bolt outta here before things get rough. After all, my Quirk can manipulate solid objects, I could just make us a stairway where Lunch Rush won't get us."
The buzzer suddenly blared.
"Team Obihiro and Tatsuma. Practical Exam. Ready, Go!", the announcer said.
"Welp here goes nothing!", Tatsuma said, shifting into Leviathan form, "Get on my back"
Obihiro complied and the two immediately started to make a beeline towards the exit until...
"Is it me or is it getting hot in here?", Tatsuma wheezed, his running slowing down.
"Huh what do you mean?"
"I feel all woozy..."
Tatsuma started wobbling from side to side before collapsing.
"Hey get up!", Obihiro urged, "We're almost at the exit!"
No response.
"AARGH! I gotta do everything!", he groaned, preparing to turn the ground, Tatsuma was standing on a wheelbarrow but the ground suddenly started to melt.
"What the hell?"
Suddenly, clapping could be heard until a mechanical looking chef walked up to the duo, revealing himself as the source of the clapping.
"Lunch Rush? You're the source of this sudden heat eruption?!"
"I don't get it...", Midoriya said, "Why did Tatsuma collapse and how come Obihiro can't transmute the ground."
"It's very odd...", Uraraka added.
"You see children.", Recovery Girl began, "Lunch Rush's Quirk gives him the ability to increase the temperature of the environment up to its boiling point."
"Oh I get it!", Midoriya realized, "Tatsuma's Leviathan form is really powerful, but he needs sufficient water in order to use it effectively. But if there's no water, his scales will dry up, making his Quirk a lot weaker There's also the fact that he uses up water faster than normal, which means he suffers from dehydration and heat stroke at a faster rate."
"I get that Lunch Rush's Quirk counters Tatsuma, but what about Obihiro?", Uraraka asked.
"Obihiro's Transmute only works on solid objects. It won't work on melted objects since anything that's melted can be considered a liquid. That means Obihiro won't be able to use his Quirk at all."
"So they have no means of attacking or defending against Lunch Rush since if they get too close, he'll boil them alive and if they try to defend, the heat stroke will get them.", Midoriya said.
"To think that a chef would have such a powerful Quirk...", Obihiro grumbled as the ground around him and Tatsuma began to melt due to Lunch Rush's Quirk. "At this rate, we'll be buried alive by all this mud. How the hell can we beat a guy with a Quirk that completely counters ours?"
"Your Quirk Transmutes solid objects right?", Tatsuma asked Obihiro.
"Err yeah why?"
"Transmute my scales...if it can work on solid objects, that means organic matter can be transmuted as well!"
Obihiro's eyes widened, "But if I do that, there's a chance I could mess up your body if I don't Transmute it properly"
"We're out of options, we can't escape, even if we could. We only got one shot at this! Make it count!"
As Lunch Rush prepared to boil the ground, Obihiro started to Transmute Tatsuma's scales.
The ground started to become muddy , slowly consuming the two boys.
"Lunch Rush is targeting the ground first.", Obihiro thought, "That means, if I can transmute Tatsuma's scales to make a material buoyant enough, that means...I'll have enough time to do this!"
Transmuting Tatsuma's scales, Obihiro turned the scales on the Leviathan's back into a buoyant material, allowing the two to float over the melted ground. Using this opportunity, Shigen charged at Lunch Rush before tossing three knife-like objects that the chef melted away only for the third to transmute back to a pair of handcuffs that cuffed his hands perfectly.
"YES! IT WORKED!", Shigen shouted in pride.
"Nicely done", Ryuusuke nodded, "You transmuted the handcuffs into stuff light enough to throw, quite the masterful strategy"
Lunch Rush gave the two boys a thumbs up in approval through the cuffs.
"Team Obihiro and Tatsuma have passed the exam!", the announcer declared.
"I can't believe it!", Midoriya said, "The two actually persevered despite their poor chances!"
"It was quite the gamble, but it was worth the risk! Those two are amazing!", Uraraka cheered.
"Who would've thought transmuting organic material would work?", Obihiro scratched his head.
"Dumb luck perhaps...", Ryuusuke concluded before going deep into his thoughts. "Or did his Quirk get stronger than last time."
After Tatsuma and Obihiro's final exams concluded, up next was Yuuki Sakamata and Kasumi Takane against Hound Dog, the Guidance Counselor, inside an abandoned building where the exit gate was located just near the entrance of the building.
"How exactly are we going to beat this exam?", Kasumi blubbered, "Mr. Hound Dog's so scary..."
"Don't worry Kasumi", Yuuki reassured, "I'll deal with Mr. Hound Dog, you go find the exit."
"Still though..."
The buzzer blared, interrupting Takane's words.
"Team Higashi and Takane. Practical Exam. Ready. Go!"
"Alright, let's get to it!", Sakamata said, running down the hallway.
"Wait Higashi shouldn't we-", Takane tried to warn the dinosaur girl before she was tackled by a large figure.
"Eep!"
"You call yourself a hero with a reckless strategy like that", the canine figure growled as he pinned Higashi to the wall, "At this rate, you'll never be able to pass."
"You stupid mutt!", she snarled, trying to bite at Hound Dog.
"A pathetic attempt, how about you sit there like a good dinosaur while I hunt down your little moth friend?", he walked away.
Takane meanwhile was hiding behind a pillar, a face of dread enveloping her face.
*Sniff* *Sniff* *Sniff* *Sniff* "Found you...", Hound Dog mockingly said as he threw a punch at where Takane was hiding. Thankfully at the last second, she flew out of the way before he punched the pillar, shattering it in one hit.
"You can't run forever!", Hound Dog chuckled, "After all, what kind of hero would you be if you abandoned an ally?"
"What's with Takane?", Midoriya asked, "Why is she running away?"
"It seems that fear has overtaken the poor girl.", Recovery Girl said, "She usually had to rely on other people when it came to combat. Now that Sakamata's subdued, she's just like a child lost in a mall. It also doesn't help that Hound Dog's Quirk allows him to smell even the faintest smells whether it be the fishy scent Sakamata has or the dust like particles that glitter on Takane's wings. Not to mention his hearing is akin to a dog's. That means no matter how far she runs, Hound Dog can easily hunt Takane down. And due to Takane's Quirk causing misfortune to her if she doesn't jinx anyone, she has to get close to him. So it's a losing battle unless the girls develop a strategy.
Meanwhile, Kasumi flew in a zigzag pattern in an attempt to get Hound Dog away from her, but due to his heightened sense of smell, he wasn't easily fooled by her attempts to trick him.
"I don't get it", Kasumi thought, "How can he track me down so quickly?"
*Sniff* *Sniff* *Sniff* *Sniff*
"Wait a second...", she pondered, "He's using his nose to track me down. Of course! I should've known. His Quirk is him being a literal dog. Since their noses are a primary source of gathering information, that means I need to overload his sense of smell."
Kasumi halted in place as Hound Dog slowly caught up to her.
"Giving up?", Hound Dog taunted, "That's very un-hero like of you"
"I'm not giving up", Takane shook her head before smiling, "In fact I found out how to win."
"I'd like to see you try", he lunged at her.
Takane, deftly flew backwards after touching his arm, jinxing him. She then flapped her wings rapidly, her dust like particles quickly gathering all over the place with some getting into Hound Dog's eyes.
"You think that'll stop me, you forget that I can smell you out-", Hound Dog taunted before he began sniffing at the air, darting in every direction, growling in rage.
"W-w-what's the big idea, how are you everywhere?!", he said furiously, punching blindly in the air.
"That should stall him for now. As long as he stays jinxed all I gotta do is get Yuuki and find the exit.", Kasumi thought.
Flying away from the distracted Hound Dog, Kasumi flew to where Yuuki was pinned, removing the pin-like needles from her body.
"Ouch! Careful, those things hurt like hell!", Yuuki growled.
"I'm really sorry! But we need to go now!"
"I thought we were going to capture Hound Dog!"
"We can't capture him! He's too strong, all we can do is get help!"
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I could only stall him by overloading his senses!"
"Wait a minute!" Higashi said, "You overloaded his senses?"
"Err yeah, his Quirk gives him the same abilities as a dog. What's so important about that?"
"That's it!", Sakamata snapped, "If we can overload his sense long enough, we'll have enough time to handcuff him!"
Takane's eyes widened at her teammate's sudden tactical strategy.
"But I don't think he'll fall for the same smell overload. We'll have to find another way to cause his sense to go haywire."
"You leave that to me."
In the midst of their strategic plan, Hound Dog already caught up to the two girls. "That was a dirty trick!", he snarled, "But now that your little jinx has expired. It's all over!" He threw a punch aimed at the two girls who dodged while Kasumi tried to jinx him again. "I won't fall for that again!", he barked, kicking Takane away.
Using this opportunity, Yuuki sidestepped around him and ran up to the side of his head before...
*SKKKKKKKKKKRRRREEEEEE*
She let out a reptilian screech near his ears, causing Hound Dog to cover his ears, yelping in pain.
"TAKANE NOW!"
With the opportunity at hand, Kasumi flew towards the duo, handcuffs in tow, cuffing his right arm while Yuuki cuffed his left. Just in case, Kasumi also jinxed Hound Dog's eyes, blinding him once more.
"That should do it", she declared.
"HELL YEAH, WE WON!", Yuuki roared in pride.
"Team Sakamata and Takane have passed the exam!", the announcer shouted.
"Heh not bad...", Hound Dog barked in admiration, "You used my Quirk against me."
"Aw it was nothing...", Kasumi blushed, kicking up dust.
"Nothing?", Yuuki turned to the moth, "If it wasn't for you discovering a loophole in his Quirk, we wouldn't have passed, you should be proud of your accomplishment!"
"B-but, I ran away most of the exam..."
"That's beside the point!"
Following their exams, it was Team Midoriya and Bakugo's turn against the Symbol of Peace. Despite Bakugo's unwillingness to cooperate as well as the sheer destructive force of All Might's Quirk, the two boys persevered and passed just in the nick of time.
Meanwhile, League of Villains Hideout, Unknown Location
"You seem rather curious about that boy, Shigaraki...", Kurogiri told the lanky boy. Said boy was holding a picture of Izuku Midoriya when he was at the sports festival.
"Shigaraki", a voice said as a door opened next to the villainous duo. Said voice belonged to a gray haired man who looked no more than in his mid to late thirties, holding a cigarette while adorned in a flashy purple suit.
"Your 'League of Villains' has been the talk of the town for the last couple of days.", the man continued. "Word on the streets is you're about to start something big."
"And? Who did you bring?" Shigaraki demanded as he crumpled the photo of Midoriya reducing it to dust.
The purple suited man simply chuckled before walking out of the door. Footsteps soon followed shortly after, revealing three figures, a man in his early to mid twenties with burn scars from head to toe, a blonde haired girl who appeared to be a highschooler and a woman in her late thirties to early forties with chestnut brown hair with a an unusually large scorpion tail that swayed from side to side like a viper ready to strike.
"So it's really you, huh?", the male started, "I've seen you in pictures and to be frank, you look grosser in person."
"Wow, it's the weird hand guy!", the younger of the two girls ecstatically said, "You're friends with my hero, Stain, right? Cool! Let me join the League! I wanna be in your group!"
"So you're Tomura Shigaraki.", the older girl added, "To think a child such as yourself could rouse such chaos in mere days."
Shigaraki simply stood there, complete silence foreboding within the room.
Unbeknownst to the world, the League of Villains has just been reborn.
Author's Note:
In case you haven't realized, yeah I gave Lunch Rush a random Quirk that he probably most likely doesn't have in the official canon. But that's mostly because we technically don't know what his Quirk is, all that we know is that it's the source of why his food tastes so good. So I thought "How about I give Lunch Rush a Quirk that boils stuff, it makes sense given that boiling is a type of way people cook food". I apologize if this ticks anyone off.
Anyways, Red Goblin Out!
