He had a crush. That was the only thing he was sure of. Not so sure on when it started or how, but the strict Bitzer made him realize how much he missed and wanted back, and how much he really liked his old buddy, and now everytime the dog was close to him there was a weird feeling growing up inside him, and when he was away, the sheep couldn't help but wait for him to come back.

Figuring that out was easy, in certain way. Having had crushes before this one helped on that. But that didn't make it any less confusing. Of course it was easier when it was a ewe like him that he just met and found attractive, but a male from another species that has been his best friend since childhood? Weird. That wasn't supposed to happen.

Was it?

He didn't even know what he liked about the dog. They didn't even like the same things or had the same morals to begin with. Was it small things about him, like his touch or his smile, or it was him in its entirety that got him so hypnotized? That thought came out too poetic for his own liking. What was happening to him!

Shaun was sitting under the tree, eyes focusing on a dandelion in front of him but his mind up in the clouds. Latelly, he had been daydreaming a lot, not knowing what to do with the things he figured out. With Lola, it didn't take too long for him to ask her out but, will he ever be able to talk in that way to Bitzer? Not a chance.

"Hey, is something wrong?" Speaking of which, the dog was now standing in front of him, looking down with worry.

"Oh, yeah, I'm fine, don't worry about it"

"Are you sure? You look kinda gloomy" The dog placed a paw on his forehead and the sheep flinched "Are you really feeling alright?" His fingers moved to his cheek "you're warm!"

Well… maybe there was a chance. And everybody knows Shaun will always take even the smallest chance. Bitzer now took his wrists to check his hooves and the sheep carefully moved them to grab his paws.

"Well, actually…" Lifting his head, his friend sat down to listen "I've been having a lot of messy thoughts lately, and I don't know what to do"

"Hmm. Tell me about it"

"I have a… problem? I guess? And its making me feel weird things"

"What kind of things"

"Well, I have this feeling in my guts… a twisting feeling…"

"Like the one after eating something rotten?"

"Like sliding down a mountain of snow"

"Oh. So… you like it?"

He blushed "Yeah. It tickles" Bitzer noded thoughtful. Maybe he got the hint? "There's also this thing in my chest-"

"Like a heat?" A curious head tilt brought that said heat to the sheep, who had to look away. That was cute.

"…Yeah"

"A heat that like, spreads up to… everywhere?"

"Yeah!"

"And then you feel your heart like you just ran a mile even without moving?"

"Yes! Exactly!"

Shaun lifted his gaze with a hopeful gleam in his eyes. Maybe he understands the feeling. Maybe he even feels the same!

But that gleam faded as he saw the one in front of him panicking.

"Did you get sick too?!"

"What?"

"Do you feel hot now?" He placed both paws in the sheep's face to examinate him, feeling the skin beneath burning indeed "Was it me who got you sick?" Shaun chuckled.

"Well, in theory…"

"Aah! No no no no, I've been having this for so long! I was afraid I was allergic to you or something" Bitzer was now looking around anxiously biting his nails "I can't have you sick!" Making a circle to be behind his friend, taking him by the waist to make him stand "Lets go check-" But the sheep pulled away, surprising him.

"What are you even talking about!?"

"The-the sickness!"

"What? Its not a sickness! Oh my god!" Yelled, before running away, leaving the dog there, speechless.
