Chapter 17: Metro Court Trouble
Killian and Henry both answered before Emma. "Boy what Boy?" and "Hotel? What hotel? Where?" Emma even expected the questions and comments from her family. David questioned, "Mom?" while Regina commented, "you have two more sons." Neal Sr. stuttered, "You… you and… ah, … Killian…are a … a thing… with… with kids… including… my… Henry." Snow held onto David's arm cause he didn't seem to like this very much, and questioned, "So who is Britney?" The comment nobody expected was Milah, "He was probably the curly haired blonde she was out on the docks with last night." While Emma just said, "Not exactly, Regina and frankly Neal my love life is none of your business," Killian focused on Milah, "You saw Britney last night. You knew we were looking for you and never said anything. What the bloody, hell Milah? Something could have happened. She's a child and they are now in a hotel. Where Liam?" Liam turned and said, "This way Dad. Its called the Metro Court Hotel. David's still there trying to follow them" as he lead them towards town.
With them heading towards her hotel, Carly and her family followed as did the extended Charming family. On the way there Liam explained, "We were on our way to the park to meet everyone but James stopped to tie his shoe and while we were waiting David and I saw Britney walking with some blonde guy holding hands. I called out to her but I don't know if she heard me. They were by all the taxi cars carrying a bunch of bags like Tommy, A & F, and Victoria's Secret. We ran across the street to catch up to them but they went into the hotel. I knew we had to stop them so I sent David in to find her and I ran to find you and Mom at the park." The more they heard the more urgent finding the teens became.
Since Justin had family in town, Britney convinced him that they should stay so he could visit with his Grandma Laura. Although Laura knew the truth about the Cassadine family, she seldom saw her son, daughter-in-law or grandkids. Feeling nervous Justin wanted to make sure everything went smooth and went with Britney to the mall to get new clothes for them both. He was excited to introduce Britney and his grandma, but worried whether it was safe to do so in Port Charles. To make matters worse, she was babysitting his little cousins and he didn't think they should meet today but Britney calmed him down saying, "It will be ok. They are just kids and we can be careful. You have an opportunity here to see your family and that's great." He knew she was right and it didn't help that he knew his parents were probably worried sick as were Britney's so he agreed to just do this today so they can head home sooner.
While Nikolas was out looking for Justin and Britney he was alerted to activity on one of his business cards in Port Charles. Reading the alert he found that it had been used at the mall and the Metro Court Hotel. Knowing that he didn't have any business associates operating in Port Charles, Nikolas was sure that it was Justin. He tried calling Claudia to let her know since she was out looking with Emma but he got no answer, so he called Wyndamere to let the kids and the guards know. With the mall closing soon, Nikolas elected to go straight to the Metro Court. After getting the room number from the front desk, Nikolas went upstairs to find Justin but ran across a little boy pounding on all the doors. In a hurry, Nikolas passed the boy but stopped when he heard the boy ask, "Is Britney here? I need to find my sister." Realizing they were looking for the same people, Nikolas offered to help, "why don't we try down the hall?"
Chapter 18: Metro Court Trouble – Part 2
When everyone arrives at the hotel, Killian and Emma are suggesting, "We should split up and search for the kids." Snow points out, "Most of us don't actually know who they are, so even if we knocked on every door…" Sonny interjects, "You can't go pound on every door and disturb all the other guests." Carly agrees, "Yeah, I can't let you run amuck in my hotel. Who is Britney? Is she why you are working with Claudia?" Annoyed and getting angry, Killian approaches Carly, "Its your hotel, you find our daughter, now." Seeing that Carly doesn't like Killian's tone or stance, what with his hook in her face, Emma pulls his hook away and reiterates, "Yes. Claudia and I are looking for my 15 year old daughter, Britney and her son Justin. Can you please tell me what room you rented to them?" After a few moments of silence and everyone staring at each other, Carly pulls up the information on the computer and leads them to the room with her master key in hand.
Alarmed that the door is wide open, Carly knocks on it and announces that they are entering. Nikolas comes around the corner to find the large group; "I can't find the kids. The room's empty and I've not found…" young David interrupts, "Eww" holding his sister's bra away from himself "they have been here. Britney's clothes are on the floor and they smell funny." Not liking where this is going and trying to reassure those with her, Snow inquires, "Is there anywhere else in the hotel they could be? Someplace common for everyone? To eat or something?" Sam answers, "There's a restaurant, shopping area, business offices, a pool, a gym, conference rooms, and a library." Henry turns to his little brothers, "ok we are going to go search the hotel for Britney you three stay here in case she and/or Justin comes back." With that they leave the room to search for the teens.
"The library and business center are at the end of the hall, but the rest of them are on different floors" Carly said. When they got to the library they didn't see any teens but Snow suggested, "We could split into smaller groups and search the rest of the common areas." David Charming pointed out, "None of us are familiar with the hotel" but Belle thought it best not to drag the children everywhere, "Jennifer, Emilie why don't you kids stay here in the library until we come get you." While the Hood boys didn't really want to they figured they could play on the computers so they stayed with the Gold kids. Emilie and Anna thought it was a wonderful idea because they were happy to stay and see what cool books the library had. Kristoff only stayed because he wanted to be with Anna. Prince Neal even agreed to stay but Elsa insisted that she wanted to go with in case they needed help because Emma had helped her in the past and she liked Emma as a friend and mentor. Neal tried to argue that he should go but he really just wanted to be with Elsa. Snow didn't want to leave the kids but knew they would be fine by themselves so she told Neal, "No you should stay with your brother and sister and help keep an eye on the younger kids."
Sonny liked this idea and tried, "Hey Dante, why don't you and Lulu stay here with your brothers and sisters too." Dante knew why Sonny wanted him to stay so he disagreed, "No I should go with the group in case a police presence is needed but I'm sure Lulu wouldn't mind stay with the girls and Michael and Morgan." Lulu wanted to go with Dante and Claudia since she had left town with her brother Nikolas so she suggested Kristina and Michael watch the others. Michael insisted, "I am not staying in the library I should get to see all this too," while Kristina wanted to she knew her mother would be furious so she agreed, "Yeah we can hang in the library. I'll even watch Danny too." And with that the six extended Corinthos clan kids stayed in the library with the eight kids from out of town as the others refused to stay behind in the library.
