"Dylan! Dylan, come on, buddy, breathe!" Jack says as Danny turns him to his side to try and press in a makeshift CPR like thing.
"Dylan. Dylan? Dylan, come on! Please!" I cry out, falling down next to Dylan's body, grabbing his hand, "Baby, please, don't do this to me." I whimper only for him to
"You're okay. Jesus! You scared the hell out of us, man." Jack says as we help him sit back up, my hand grabbing hold of my dry jacket and tugging it off, forgetting about the baby bump and moving to wipe his face.
"Are you all right, bro?" Merrit asks as Dylan coughs a bit more.
"Thank you" Dylan breathes out to Danny.
"This is the least I could do." Danny says as an apology for what he said.
"No. There's a hell of a lot less you could've done." Dylan says gasping as he tries to regulate his breathing.
"That was not an option. We would never leave you behind." I say harshly as I squeeze his hand my right hand moving to brush his cheek where it was bruising from a punch.
"You took a bullet for us, it was huge." Merrit says.
Jack holds up the card, "You really did, man."
"Thanks for pulling me out. Seriously." Dylan says thanking Danny again.
"Yeah."
"You got yourself out. We did the easy part. Literally, in my case, I was just standing on the shore while Atlas jumped down and got you. I'm serious." Lula says trying to spark up the moment, all of us laughing.
"Hey, you guys. Something's not right." Jack says having been inspecting the card.
"What's wrong?" Danny asks getting up as I helped try and dry Dylan off a bit more.
"Can't have you getting sick." I murmur as he moves to place his hands on my waist.
"What's wrong with it though?" I turn a bit listening.
"It's fake," Jack says having pulled off a layer of the card.
"We better get Dylan back, he's freezing," I say helping him stand up. When I did so his hand moved and I gasped a little when it went over my stomach and froze.
"Harmony?" he whispers eyes wide.
"Oh uh..surprise?" I squeak out, "Everything got so crazy I couldn't tell you, then we got separated and oh." I started talking only for Dylan's lips to be pressed on mine in a passionate kiss, my hands moving to tangle in his hair and I think I faintly heard a wolf whistle from Lula.
Once we were free from the kiss I smiled, "I love you, and I'm so glad you're okay, because I need you more than ever, but we'll have to figure that out later."
"Not that I don't appreciate you two having a cute moment, but we really need to get going to figure out what we're gonna do about this fake card." Lula calls out, "Plus we've got a ride all ready to go!"

When we had gotten back to the shop I was curled next to Dylan on a sofa set my feet curled into my body and my head resting on his shoulder. Everyone was discussing everything while Dylan's left rested around me and his right hand was protectively on my stomach, the reality hadn't set in completely on the situation or that I was pregnant.
"What? No, I had the stick. The actual stick. I swear, it was in my hand, in the lab, and then I put it in the little case thing. - And I gave it to Atlas." Lula explains moving her hands as she talked
"Right, which I then gave to Dylan. Is there any chance you've possibly misplaced it at any point?"Danny asks defeated.
"No, I took it from you and then slipped it back in your coat when I pushed you out." Dylan explains moving to press his head against mine.
"Either way, we're left holding a whole sack full of nada." Merrit points out.
"Yeah, but they're gonna come after us as if we do have something." Jack points out.
"No. Okay. I agree that somebody got the better of us. Okay? Somehow. But I don't agree that we have a sack full of nada. Because we're all here. That's a sack full of something. Listen, we all know that Walter is not going to stop until he gets that chip. And we're the only ones that even know that he's alive. We can't just walk away. That's not what the Horsemen do." Lula says very seriously and I smile.
"There's a quote. Um... It's actually by the magician that made me wanna do this in the first place. It's, uh... 'A magician's greatest power lies forever shrouded in his empty fist.' " Danny starts to say
"And the very idea that he can convince the world that he is, in fact, carrying with him a secret." " Dylan and I finish for him.
"That's Lionel Shrike."
"Dad" I hear Dylan mumble.
"That quote is right on point, mainly because Walter thinks we have it, so can't we figure out how to make him keep thinking that?"
"What is Walter's greatest fear?" Dylan questions having looked at his lap where the Fool tarot card was.
"Being seen." Merrit pipes up.
"And what does the stick do?" Dylan further questions.
"The stick can unencode anything. It can open up a back door into any computer on the planet." Lula says getting where this was going.
"Including his," Jack says as he takes a seat.
"Yeah. Right, we not only make him think that we have it, but that we're going to use it to expose and destroy him." Danny points out.
"We need a plan. But we don't have time." Dylan points out and I shift myself.
"We have each other and there are six of us." I point out to the group.
"But we also need supplies, right? And resources. And probably more than six people." Lula points out making me sigh.
"Do you really think you don't have help?" we hear a voice, and it was the shop owner speaking English which made me laugh.
"Oh, she speaks English. Of course. Yeah." Danny says sarcastically.
"Well to be fair you were an asshole earlier to her, and it was all in fun, " I point out.
"Do you know why the Fool is the most powerful card in the tarot? Not because the person who draws him is a fool. He's a fool because he's a clean slate, and, therefore, can become anything." she says holding up Dylan's card. "You were chosen. All of you."
"Not because of who you are, but because of who you might become," Lee says.
"When you say "chosen"... Are you part of the Eye?" Merrit asks what we were all thinking.
"Yes. We are part of the Eye. You've each doubted our existence. Wondering if we, indeed, were watching. We are. We always have been." she explains to us.
"This is the best magic shop in the world….You know what she's saying, right?" Danny asks us.
"Yes. That now we have resources and help. Thank you." Dylan says bowing at her in thanks. "So, who's in?" he asks, grabbing a cup for him and me.
"I'm in, thanks," I say taking the cup and holding it up.
Danny is the third to take a cup, "I'm in"
"Yeah, I'm in," Lula says getting up to get herself a cup.
"Let's do this." ack says followed by Merrit and we all drink our glasses.
"Cheers"

"Okay so first things first, we need to figure out where. I'm thinking London would be great, it's got what we need." I say rolling out a paper as we get into details.
"Great thinking, but if you think I'm letting you put yourself at risk." Dylan mumbles.
"Too bad, I need to help out on this one, really I can. I've got an idea on what I want to do. But I'll be safe, don't worry too much." I tell him, pressing a kiss to his cheek. "Now let's get this video filmed!" I say as we shuffle around getting into our positions while Dylan filmed the five of us.
"Not long ago, we were tricked. I was exposed and brought back from the dead." Jack says his line, his arms crossed over his chest.
"So we figured it was only fitting that we do the same thing" I say with wide grin, knowing exactly that Walter would be pissed about it.
"to the person who did it to us." Lula says.
"Midnight, New Year's Eve. London." Danny says."We will be performing a series of shows that all connect to our big finale, so pay close attention to each trick,"
"So leave your kiddies at home and get ready for a wild night, because we, too, will bring someone back from the dead." Merrit tells the camera, winking, mainly at who we were making this for, Walter.
"In front of the largest stage in the world... " Danny states
"The actual world. " I speak up with a grin, this was going to be so much fun.
